WRAL's political cartoonish (yes, a TV station has a political cartoonist) calls Republican members of the North Carolina Board of Education members of the KKK for opposing the use of Critical Race Theory to create new standards for K-12 Social Studies and History. One of those members is the first Black Lt. Gov. ever elected in NC. Another is a Native American. A third runs a ministry that was awarded the MLK Dream in Action Award. This kind of racist smear is dangerous and corrosive to our society, and it should be denounced as such by everyone associated with WRAL -- under the standard advanced by WRAL when it covers Republican scandals and gaffes.
