[00:00:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Write your smartphone or tablet and again, thank you so much for your support

[00:00:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so this guy Ryan Ralph was a loon

[00:00:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's uh, it's what it's looking like to me at least again. It's still open to be persuaded. We're still

[00:00:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Learning a lot about the guys background as you know we always do in them

[00:00:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Days after these types of events but the guy who tried to assassinate Donald Trump by all accounts that I have read

[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Nutball uh, yeah, nutball also

[00:00:59] [SPEAKER_00]: The question of how did this loon know that Donald Trump was going to be at the golf club

[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Playing the links right I've heard this

[00:01:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Question since Sunday and

[00:01:16] [SPEAKER_00]: We got the answer to it now you can you can reject the answer if you want I'd well

[00:01:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Can do is tell you what the information is

[00:01:23] [SPEAKER_00]: People choose what to believe and what not to believe

[00:01:27] [SPEAKER_00]: But according to the

[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Investigative agencies they say that the guy had set up camp basically out

[00:01:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Outside the perimeter along that chain length fence it been there for like 12 hours according to

[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_00]: His cell phone GPS data

[00:01:47] [SPEAKER_00]: So he'd been out there half the day laying in wait

[00:01:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how long he would have waited right?

[00:01:55] [SPEAKER_00]: He I don't know if he was gonna go home it's sundown or something but as I said

[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_00]: The other day I guess Monday

[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_00]: That

[00:02:05] [SPEAKER_00]: It's pretty evident when Donald Trump is in town

[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_00]: At Mara logo which I also thought Mara logo had the golf course but apparently Mara logos like four miles down the road

[00:02:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Which actually then

[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's more credibility to this point which is that if Donald Trump is going to be

[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Moving from Mara logo to the golf

[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_00]: The you know Trump international golf course if he's gonna be moving to the golf course

[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_00]: You're going to have a large procession of

[00:02:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Law enforcement around him right his security detail. I mean not

[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Like not the size of Barack Obama's obviously

[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Trump doesn't deserve that I mean he's only had one attempt to assassinate him in the last two months

[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_00]: But he would have a security presence that rolls with him

[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_00]: They apparently did not sweep the area the perimeter

[00:02:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Before his arrival

[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_00]: So people were like all the secret service, you know they did their job

[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_00]: And I said this on Monday. I'm not so sure this should count as doing their job

[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, it's for two it is that one of the secret service agents saw a gun barrel get lifted

[00:03:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Through the chain length fence, but had he not seen that would have been a completely different story

[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_00]: so

[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if we need do we need another

[00:03:27] [SPEAKER_00]: A new chief of the secret service now?

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_00]: That was fast

[00:03:33] [SPEAKER_00]: But according to the investigators Ryan Routh was set up outside the perimeter of the fence for like 12 hours

[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Waiting on Trump to come play golf which is a good bet

[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_00]: That's it. I mean it's a good bet you know Donald Trump loves to play golf

[00:03:48] [SPEAKER_00]: You know he plays golf at the course that literally has his name on it

[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_00]: So if you're trying to take a shot at him in a big open area

[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_00]: That's a pretty good location to do it at right? I mean that's if you're thinking like this guy was

[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_00]: So I have not seen any evidence that

[00:04:05] [SPEAKER_00]: This is you know somebody inside the Trump camp that is leaking out his schedule or somebody in secret service

[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_00]: That's leaking out his schedule. I've not seen any evidence of that again

[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_00]: You can believe whatever you want to believe based on nothing if you want you can do that

[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I

[00:04:23] [SPEAKER_00]: choose not to

[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_00]: You can reject the investigators

[00:04:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Information because it's coming from a source and you don't trust the source

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, that's fine by me

[00:04:34] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm just telling you what they said

[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Seems to seem to make sense especially when you've got

[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_00]: All of the interviews that are coming out now

[00:04:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Of people that knew this guy and they're all painting the same picture which is nutball

[00:04:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Ryan Ralph this is from by the way Stephen Richards and John Solomon

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_00]: over at just the news.com

[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Ryan Ralph the suspected Donald Trump assassin was interviewed by US customs and border protection officials

[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_00]: When he returned from Ukraine last year and flagged for further investigation

[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Based on comments that he made two agents

[00:05:13] [SPEAKER_00]: but Homeland Security declined to act right that's a problem

[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_00]: The June 2023 encounter with Ralph and the Honolulu Airport is confirmed in the US border entry records reviewed by just the news

[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_00]: and it's the

[00:05:34] [SPEAKER_00]: And his late is the latest tale of mist law enforcement opportunities dating back to 2019

[00:05:39] [SPEAKER_00]: To stop or further investigate the alleged would be assassin

[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Once again, this is also

[00:05:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Part for the course right this is a very similar story

[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_00]: We hear over and over again known to law enforcement

[00:05:56] [SPEAKER_00]: They were aware of this individual

[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And they didn't take whatever steps that they could have

[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_00]: In order to stop the person before they engaged in the illegal behavior

[00:06:08] [SPEAKER_00]: The record show that CBP officials knew that Ralph had traveled to Warsaw, Poland near the Ukraine border

[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_00]: As well as to Istanbul Turkey

[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_00]: In 2022 and 2023

[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_00]: And had admitted in his interview that he had been recruiting as many as a hundred foreign fighters from Taiwan

[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Afghanistan and Moldova to join Ukraine's war against the Russian invasion

[00:06:33] [SPEAKER_00]: By the way, I have not seen any evidence that he was actually ever successful

[00:06:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Is recruiting efforts everything about this guy

[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_00]: again screams loon and

[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_00]: That he was

[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Looking for a cause bigger than himself and in his delusion

[00:06:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Thought that he would raise up an army

[00:06:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Because every time you see this guy like in all of the videos and all of the interviews what what what what see doing

[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Dude is standing in the middle of the street or on a sidewalk alone

[00:07:10] [SPEAKER_00]: And handing out flyers asking people to go lay down their lives for Ukraine

[00:07:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Right the guys got no military background

[00:07:22] [SPEAKER_00]: No training he's 56 years old or 58 years old at this point

[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Nobody wanted his help the Ukrainians were like, ah, you know things

[00:07:33] [SPEAKER_00]: The record show that customs and border patrol officials knew that Ralph had traveled to Poland they knew this

[00:07:41] [SPEAKER_00]: They knew he went to Turkey

[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_00]: He even gave US agents who interviewed him a business card that portrayed him as the director of a group called

[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_00]: The International Volunteer Center

[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_00]: That also claimed to have contact in Syria, Pakistan sorry, Pakistan and Israel

[00:07:58] [SPEAKER_00]: He also described who had underwritten his efforts to recruit foreigners to assist cave

[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_00]: He stated that he obtained money from his wife

[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_00]: But he was divorced at the time

[00:08:17] [SPEAKER_00]: He still is he had gone out to Honolulu to live with his girlfriend

[00:08:20] [SPEAKER_00]: So is his wife

[00:08:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Sending him money for this or was that a lie or does he believe?

[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I did he believe that

[00:08:30] [SPEAKER_00]: I got questions for his wife now or his ex-wife. I got questions for her

[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_00]: The memo stated that the Ukraine advocate was referred to Homeland Security Investigations

[00:08:41] [SPEAKER_00]: HSI the lead investigative organ of Homeland Security but that division declined to pursue the matter

[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Why would they have declined to pursue the matter because they're on the take?

[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe or I would submit them more likely explanation was that they thought he was a harmless lunatic

[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_00]: A harmless nutball

[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_00]: The guy's got

[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_00]: The guy's got nothing going on here like he's not recruiting anybody he doesn't have these contacts by the way

[00:09:09] [SPEAKER_00]: He claimed to be the director of this International Volunteer Center

[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_00]: That organizations like we don't know who this guy is

[00:09:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Are they lying?

[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_00]: See at some point like this is when you build any kind of a case

[00:09:24] [SPEAKER_00]: You have to look at where all the evidence points right that's not to say that there won't be

[00:09:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Pieces of evidence that don't fit there will be

[00:09:33] [SPEAKER_00]: But when you look at the totality of the evidence and everything is pointing in one direction and it is that this guy is a lun

[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_00]: With delusions of grandeur like

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Occam's razor here people

[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_00]: It's the most obvious explanation is that

[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the guy's nuts

[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Again, you don't have to believe me. I am totally fine if you have a different opinion

[00:09:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Ralph was flagged in 2019 under suspicion for possessing a firearm while a felon FBI special agent in charge Jeffrey Veltrue of the Miami field office said

[00:10:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Also a nurse that interacted with him while she was volunteering in Ukraine told the Wall Street Journal

[00:10:14] [SPEAKER_00]: That she reported him to customs and board a patrol on her upon her return from that country back in June of 2022

[00:10:22] [SPEAKER_00]: The International Volunteer Center said it was formed after he returned to the U.S. so he he could have been a part of it. It didn't even exist

[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_00]: So

[00:10:34] [SPEAKER_00]: They said none of us have any knowledge of Mr. Ralph or any other entity named the International Volunteer Center aside from our own

[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Organization

[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_00]: You know stories are powerful they help us make sense of things to understand

[00:11:42] [SPEAKER_00]: creative video dot com

[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_00]: John Solomon at just the news dot com

[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Reporting along a hang on he's got a byline here with Stephen Richards

[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Wasn't the guy from sign-felt?

[00:11:58] [SPEAKER_00]: anyway

[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_00]: They have a quote here from

[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Chelsea Wolch

[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Who was a nurse who volunteered in

[00:12:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Cave

[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_00]: formerly known as Kiev

[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Ukraine

[00:12:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Back in 2022 and she claims that she told the board of protection agents about several encounters that she had with

[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_00]: The would be assassin in the country

[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_00]: in Ukraine

[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_00]: And she returns to America and

[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Tells customs and border patrol at Washington's dullest airport

[00:12:33] [SPEAKER_00]: About this guy and that would have been one year prior to his interview

[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_00]: With officials when he returned in Honolulu

[00:12:44] [SPEAKER_00]: She told authorities that she suspected routh was dangerous and exhibited quote overall predatory behavior or anti-social traits

[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_00]: She's a nurse now

[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_00]: That's according to her notebook, which she shared with the Wall Street Journal

[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_00]: The immigration records reviewed by just the news

[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Show that routh traveled to Europe two times between April 2022 and June of 2023

[00:13:11] [SPEAKER_00]: So over the course of what 14 months or so

[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Two trips I said this the other day

[00:13:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Who's funding this guy now he claimed to

[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Border Patrol that it was

[00:13:23] [SPEAKER_00]: His wife that his wife is giving him money

[00:13:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Or I guess his ex wife

[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_00]: But she was his ex at the time if I understand the timeline correctly

[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_00]: During that first trip routh left the United States from LA bound for Warsaw

[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_00]: He returned to the US in September via Amsterdam

[00:13:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Several months later he departed for Istanbul March 2023 and returned to Honolulu in June

[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_00]: via Japan skies been all over the world

[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Is foreign travel to Ukraine and plans to recruit ex afghan soldiers to fight against Russia

[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_00]: All likely put routh in the crosshairs of other US intelligence agencies

[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_00]: They got a quote from a fellow named Jeff Dainick or Denick a 28-year veteran of the FBI

[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_00]: So you can choose to believe him or not

[00:14:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Have you chosen whether to believe him or not?

[00:14:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, good now I'm gonna tell you what he said see you should make the assumption before you hear what he says

[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Right if you're gonna dismiss him well. He just in the FBI. I can't trust anything he says okay

[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Or you gotta wait to hear what he says first and then decide whether to believe it

[00:14:35] [SPEAKER_00]: As long as it comports with what

[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Right, so here's what he says quote

[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_00]: So when American troops sing around in that battleground is going to receive focus

[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_00]: I would be shocked if one of the intel agencies did not have his devices compromised

[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_00]: That makes sense to me

[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_00]: That does that makes sense to me

[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_00]: But then again, I'm putting a lot of confidence in government agencies and

[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Just historically speaking, you know, it's maybe not the best bet, you know, they miss a whole lot

[00:15:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Then there's a story at national review actually two of them

[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_00]: But I've condensed them into a single story

[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_00]: this guy

[00:15:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Was once praised as a super citizen in Greensboro by police

[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_00]: He caught a rapist

[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_00]: He's got it. I think he's got a bit of a hero complex

[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_00]: All right real quick let me introduce you to my friends Gabriel and Michelle two lifelong North Carolinians who are passionate about everything North Carolina

[00:16:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Ryan Mills writing at national review

[00:16:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Writing about another Ryan no relation named Ryan Ralph I'm calling him Ralph because it sounds like mouth and if you see the guy

[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_00]: His mouth is weird anyway

[00:16:44] [SPEAKER_00]: He was outside his North Carolina home in the spring of 1991 when he heard a woman screaming for help

[00:16:50] [SPEAKER_00]: From on top of a nearby office building

[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_00]: He was 25 at the time with a wife and young son at his home in Greensboro

[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_00]: He ran to the building to see what was going on according to the Greensboro news and record

[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_00]: The woman had been raped by a man who had broken into the building according to the newspaper

[00:17:08] [SPEAKER_00]: After the man crawled out the front door Ralph confronted him on the steps

[00:17:12] [SPEAKER_00]: quote, he punched me at that point. He was a pretty strong fella

[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Ralph told a reporter the man fled

[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Ralph chased him

[00:17:21] [SPEAKER_00]: He later rode with the police officer looking for the man

[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Who he later identified in a photo line up leading to his arrest and for his efforts

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Ralph was named the local police unions citizen of the year

[00:17:36] [SPEAKER_00]: The paper praised him as a super citizen if not a superhero

[00:17:43] [SPEAKER_00]: News reports suggest that Ralph never lost that desire to be a hero and has been looking for a

[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_00]: monumental cause for his life in the early 2000s by the way this is this is frequently

[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_00]: There's like there there's an obsession that happens with

[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_00]: With folks who go down this you know this path

[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Don't know what the target is don't know what the topic is or the issue

[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_00]: But they they become hyper focused on something you know that they think is whether you know it's a

[00:18:18] [SPEAKER_00]: World War three or something whatever and it seems like

[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_00]: What Ralph focused on was you crane the Ukraine war

[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_00]: In the early 2000s he came to the aid of a group of local teenagers who were fighting local government officials who had closed the skateboard park

[00:18:36] [SPEAKER_00]: That they had built

[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously without permits

[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_00]: So they got shut down

[00:18:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, and by the way one of the kids that did it was his son Ralph's son

[00:18:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Court records and interviews with people who knew him suggest that even as he was being praised as a local hero

[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_00]: His life and mental health were spiraling

[00:18:58] [SPEAKER_00]: His former business partner Samuel Plata said quote I'm not surprised

[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_00]: He's crazy

[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_00]: And quote well, he actually said he's crazy man

[00:19:12] [SPEAKER_00]: That's a direct quote from his former business partner

[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Plata said that he met Ralph in the early 1990s through his uncle who had worked with Ralph in the roofing business

[00:19:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Ralph's first business went under

[00:19:27] [SPEAKER_00]: But he and Ralph started another roofing company called united roofing

[00:19:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Plata said that business did well

[00:19:36] [SPEAKER_00]: They had more than a hundred employees at one point and Ralph branched out beyond roofing into other aspects of construction

[00:19:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Plata destroyed a described Ralph as a nice guy but said he started to struggle

[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_00]: National review then starts going into all of the

[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_00]: The pile of traffic offenses

[00:20:01] [SPEAKER_00]: And Plata said that Ruth's family or Ralph's family members tried to get him help for his mental health

[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_00]: But it didn't work and instead it led to family divisions in the early 2000s

[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Ralph legal troubles

[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Got worse he started facing charges of passing worthless checks

[00:20:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Possession of stolen goods and motor vehicles

[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Most prominently he was arrested in 2002 after he fled a traffic stop and barricaded himself inside his roofing business with a machine gun

[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Plata said that he parted ways with his business partner in 2003

[00:20:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Quote he had a lot of issues with the workers

[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_00]: He had not paid the guys and one time he tried to shoot one of the Mexican guys that he owed money

[00:20:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I did like that

[00:20:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, I'm with you there Plata

[00:20:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I agree with you not a generally not a good management practice

[00:20:58] [SPEAKER_00]: To attempt to murder your employees

[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_00]: His most recent traffic offenses in Guilford County were from March of 2019

[00:21:08] [SPEAKER_00]: On Monday I went over his voter registration information and he is registered voter in North Carolina

[00:21:17] [SPEAKER_00]: He voted in the Democrat primary in March

[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Which is weird because supposedly he's been living in Hawaii

[00:21:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Having passed along

[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_00]: This is what yeah, this is what is linked in says

[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Ralph's LinkedIn page

[00:21:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Having passed along any meager remnants of myself in North Carolina and relocated to a wahoo

[00:21:44] [SPEAKER_00]: I currently build very simple housing structures for the less fortunate and pursue a wide range of other creative projects

[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Towards developing unique products and devices as well as community improvement project

[00:21:57] [SPEAKER_00]: He said he would tremendously enjoy the invitation to join any monumental worthy cause

[00:22:04] [SPEAKER_00]: To bring about real change in our world

[00:22:08] [SPEAKER_00]: And he says he is free to relocate to any remote location on the planet that might render the most positive impact

[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_00]: He appears to have found a monumental worthy cause

[00:22:21] [SPEAKER_00]: When Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022

[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_00]: later on in the peace

[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_00]: He has donated to Democrats in recent years his social media suggests that he voted for Trump in 2016

[00:22:34] [SPEAKER_00]: But then he turned on the former president

[00:22:36] [SPEAKER_00]: The Associated Press reported that he wrote a self-published book in 2023. There's always a manifesto

[00:22:44] [SPEAKER_00]: In that book he called

[00:22:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Trump a fool and a buffoon and he said that Iran quote was free to assassinate Trump

[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_00]: If only there were any signs

[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_00]: In 2020 he appears to have backed the presidential campaign of Hawaii's then Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbert

[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_00]: That according to posts on Twitter

[00:23:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Earlier this year he expressed support for Nikki Haley and the vague Remiswami

[00:23:12] [SPEAKER_00]: He appeared in court on Monday and was charged with two federal gun crimes possession of a fire on by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm

[00:23:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Within a raced serial number

[00:23:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Shortly after the charges were announced

[00:23:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Phone records revealed that Ralph spent nearly 12 hours near the golf course before he was finally spotted with a gun by an agent who fired at him

[00:23:33] [SPEAKER_00]: No motive for the thwarted attack has been revealed

[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm thinking

[00:23:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm thinking he wanted to kill Trump

[00:23:40] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not an expert here, but I'm like that's my bet if I have to guess

[00:23:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Right, I mean I would say gun to the head with my guess, but I don't want to you know

[00:23:49] [SPEAKER_00]: It's probably too soon for that, but I'm thinking murder

[00:23:54] [SPEAKER_00]: What was the motive for that he wanted Trump eliminated?

[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_00]: To quote Dan Golden in the congressman from New York. So when I was a kid my grandpa died with Alzheimer's and before he died by mom and my dad and all of us really

[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Help take care of him as he got progressively worse

[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_00]: 40 years ago there were no treatments and not much support for caregivers and family

[00:24:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Things are different today because of the work of so many people including the Alzheimer's Association of Western North Carolina

[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a great organization with awesome people. They've got huge hearts. I've been a supporter for like 25 years

[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_00]: This cause means a lot to me. I participate in the annual walk to end Alzheimer's and I am leading a Charlotte team this year

[00:24:35] [SPEAKER_00]: It's called Pete's Pack you can sign up and join the team and walk with me. It's on October 19th at

[00:24:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Proost Field in uptown sign up at alz.org slash walk and then just look for my team

[00:24:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Pete's Pack and there's also a link in the podcast description here also I'm gonna be emceeing the Gastonia walk on October 5th

[00:24:54] [SPEAKER_00]: So make a team and join us or make a donation to help me hit my goal

[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_00]: I would really appreciate it. There are a bunch of other walks around the Carolinas and you can go to

[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_00]: alz.org for all of the dates and locations

[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_00]: We are closer than ever to stopping Alzheimer's and if you can help us get there

[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_00]: We would really appreciate it. Will you come walk with me for a different future for families for more time

[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_00]: For treatments. This is why I walk yeah the guy has got a hero complex

[00:25:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Right hero syndrome and

[00:25:29] [SPEAKER_00]: It seems pretty clear to me if you've look I guess part of this is have you ever had a conversation with somebody who is

[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_00]: like detached from reality in a you know an mental health sort of way

[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Have you ever had a conversation with somebody like that I have and

[00:25:49] [SPEAKER_00]: That's what this guy strikes me as

[00:25:52] [SPEAKER_00]: There are echoes

[00:25:54] [SPEAKER_00]: similar patterns

[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_00]: In this idea is he's got all these grand ideas. He's gonna build entire societies and and movements and stuff and

[00:26:06] [SPEAKER_00]: then he's disillusioned but why nobody is signing up for my army you know

[00:26:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Doesn't make any sense

[00:26:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I saw one of the interviews that he did he's like weeping that nobody is is joining the fight with him

[00:26:22] [SPEAKER_00]: There's a New York Times correspondent

[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Name Thomas Gibbons' nephew

[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_00]: He interviewed this guy

[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_00]: For a story last year about foreign fighters and volunteers in Ukraine

[00:26:37] [SPEAKER_00]: And he wrote about that interview that he did

[00:26:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Over the weekend and his experience interviewing a would be presidential assassin

[00:26:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Ralph was quoted in the piece

[00:26:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Which was about people who are quote not qualified to be allowed anywhere near the battlefield in a US led war

[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_00]: But yet we're fighting on the front against Russia with access to weapons and military equipment

[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Gibbons' nephew wrote that by the time he ended his phone call with Ralph

[00:27:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Here's what he said quote it was clear

[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_00]: He was in way over his head

[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Meanwhile Tanya Lukianova Lukianova

[00:27:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Look ya nova looking ya over anyway

[00:27:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Tanya was an interview or she interviewed Ralph in March of 2023 for a video that she produced for some of four

[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_00]: The

[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Left leaning news organization. I think they're kind of lefty

[00:27:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean aren't they all but okay

[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_00]: But now she's over at the free press which is Barry Weiss's operation she said that

[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Ralph was a quote zealous guy and American who really wanted to volunteer to help Ukraine

[00:27:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Ukraine is very often hard to work with though many foreign soldiers leave after a week in Ukraine

[00:28:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Or they have to move from unit to unit to find a place they are respected and appreciated

[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_00]: What it which just says aside note that's kind of odd right like if you're Ukrainian and you're on the front lines and some guy from America shows up

[00:28:17] [SPEAKER_00]: He's like hey, I'm here to fight with you

[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Why would you

[00:28:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Why would why would you disrespect that person

[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Why would you not appreciate the help that person's offering you that seems weird?

[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, the pair spoke for about 20 minutes over a video call

[00:28:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Where Ralph was when he was doing this interview

[00:28:37] [SPEAKER_00]: He was seated outside the U.S. Capitol so he's up in DC talking about this and here's what she said

[00:28:46] [SPEAKER_00]: quote you can tell right away that he's crazy

[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_00]: But I think people thought oh who cares he's supporting the right cause

[00:28:56] [SPEAKER_00]: I totally believe that

[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Everyone knew him as a little zealous a bit much

[00:29:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Or as the kids like to say he's extra

[00:29:07] [SPEAKER_00]: But nobody really cared about that too much because he was on the side of good. He was helping Ukraine

[00:29:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Back then he was just a harmless loon who didn't do anything too crazy

[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_00]: He reminds me of Brad Pitt in burn after reading the movie burn after reading if you ever seen this movie

[00:29:28] [SPEAKER_00]: A guy whose over zealous goes a little overboard on the conspiratorial side of things but until he does something terribly wrong

[00:29:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Nobody quite thinks of him that way

[00:29:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Right so that

[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_00]: All of this evidence seems to point in that direction. Of course I could just be getting fed all this information by those who want me to believe this

[00:29:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I do keep that in mind

[00:29:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Um

[00:29:55] [SPEAKER_00]: But all of the evidence so far

[00:29:58] [SPEAKER_00]: from all of these different sources

[00:30:01] [SPEAKER_00]: You watch the guy speak

[00:30:02] [SPEAKER_00]: you see his interviews

[00:30:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he seems detached from reality and apparently has been for a very long time

[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_00]: All right that'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening. I could not do the show without your support and the support of the businesses that advertised on the podcast
