So what the hell is going on up in Newark, New Jersey? Now? I'm not talking about the airport, although that is also one of those that's a fair question regarding what's going on there too. But now this is about the the Democrats going full Democrat at an ice detention facility. I do not know, No, actually I do know. They were not all wearing white this time like they did when they went down to protest the kids in cages and AOC you know, poses in front of the chain link fence, weeping uncontrollably bent over as if she's puking like that famous meme. They were not color coordinated as far as I could tell with this latest insurrectiony behavior. But one of them did get arrested the mayor of Newark, New Jersey, Ross Baraka, no relation to the former president. Ross Baraka, was arrested Friday at a new federal immigration detention center. He has been protesting against this place since it was announced, and he was held in custody for several hours. His wife complained later he couldn't even get in contact with him. It was just a couple of hours. That's no different than him being at a city council meeting, you know. Anyway. Baraka was released around eight pm after being accused of trespassing and ignoring warnings to leave the Delaney Hall facility. Delaney Hall, that's the detention facility, stepping out of an suv with flashing emergency lights, he told waiting supporters. Quote the reality is this. I didn't do anything wrong. The mayor said he could not speak about his case because he had promised to his lawyers and to the judge that he would not, but he voiced full throated support for everyone living in his community, immigrants included violent immigrants too. It doesn't matter if you murdered or raped some people. It's totally fine by Mayor Baraka. He is supporting you. Quote all of us here, every last one of us. I don't care what background you come from. I don't care how violent you are. He doesn't say that, but I threw that in. But it's true, what nationality, what language you speak. At some point, we have to stop these people from causing division between US. I don't even know what that means. We have to stop these people what you call in these people? Wait a minute, we have to stop these people from causing division between US? Is who's causing division? Like? These are ice agents. They are tasked with enforcing the law. If you don't like the laws, then you should change the laws. The problem is seventy percent of Americans are fine with the law. This is the problem that Democrats have now created for themselves because they have moved so far to the left. They are now, essentially, without having to say it, they are open borders proponents. And if we had an honest media, they would be pressing reporters or they would be pressing these democrats, these politicians on this question. What rules can we enforce regarding immigration? What are the rules that you want to see enforced? Which rules should not be Do we have the right to deport felons who are here in the country illegally. See this gets back to the Abrego Garcia case as well, the Maryland man. Right, none of the stuff matters. The only thing that matters is number one, he is who we say he is, and that's been confirmed. Everybody agrees that the Maryland man is Abrego Garcia, that is him. And number two, he is in the country illegally. That's really all that matters. He can be deported. And anything else that you want to throw in there that the government threw in there, that the gang force or the gang unit in Maryland, you know, the information that they provided, they're confidential sources provided that linked him to MS thirteen. All of that stuff is gravy because what matters is simply he came into the country illegally, and he is who he says he is, and therefore he can be deported. Should he be deported, will the will the government deport him? Right, that's a question of will, of political will, And if the government says, yes, we shall, we will, then that's really that's the end of the story a Brago Garcia's case. And I've gone over the details of that. A couple of weeks back, we knew all of this stuff about him weeks ago. The problem with the Abrago Garcia case is simply one of a mistaken flight to El Salvador. Send him back to a country that a judge said, you don't send him back to his home country because he's from l Salvador. And they sent him back to El Salvador. That's it. Had they sent him to any other country, there would be no case for Democrats to complain about. So this facility. And I'm going to circle back to Abrego Garcia because I have some audio clips to play for you. But the mayor said he couldn't speak about the case, right And he said, all these people causing division between us, I don't know who those people are. I don't know what the divisions are. Unless you're saying that any division between legal and illegal, like nobody should be categorizing people in America as a legal resident versus an illegal resident. If that is the division that you say needs to be obliterated, well, I mean that actually would be a more honest approach that everybody should just get amnesty, everybody should just be allowed to stay. There is no such thing as an illegal alien. Right baraka a Democrat who is running to succeed term limited Governor Phil Murphy. This is, by the way, the Associated Press report on this. Baraka has embraced the fight. That's what the AP calls it, that he has embraced the fight with Trump and the Trump administration over illegal immigration. He's embracing the fight. In other words, he's using it for his primary. That's what's going on here, because in the Democrat Party you have to be pro illegal alien. You have to be that's very obvious. There is a core constituency in the Democrat primary voter base that these politicians are obviously catering to. He has aggressively pushed back against the construction and opening of the one thousand bed detention center, arguing that it should not be allowed to open because of building permit issues, which I am pretty sure building permit issues is code for kickbacks that haven't been paid in Jersey. I think that's now. DHS Department of Homeland Security said in a statement that the facility actually does have the proper permits and inspections have all been cleared. So don't know who to believe. They're a Newark mayor saying you don't have the right permits. I'm just going to say I have a little bit of a bias here. My default position is probably corruption. You know. The interim US Attorney for New Jersey, Alena haba lawyer, said on the platform x formerly known as Twitter, that Baraka trespassed at the detention facility, which is run by private prison operator Geo Group, the Geogroup, So he trespassed. He went into an area that he wasn't supposed to go into, and he went into that area with a couple of or three members of Congress. And apparently they're not going to get charged with trespassing, or maybe they will. I don't know. It's being reviewed right now, but he definitely is not allowed to be on the premisses because the congress members are saying that they were there to provide oversight. And the question then is is this visit, this unannounced, unexpected, impromptu visit with cameras and activists in tow oh by the way, while a busload of illegal aliens that have been detained arrive at the gate, so you create this scene of mayhem during the transfer of these prisoners. Right, is this genuine, legitimate, quote unquote oversight or is it a photo op because if it is genuine oversight, that could be argued that it is shielded from charges of trespassing. But none of the congress members were charged with trespassing, although one may may could be charged with assault. According to what I saw on the video, I mean, it's not it wasn't brutal, but there was definitely shoving of federal agents ICE agents. Right, there was some pushing and shoving that occurred, which is by design, right, these are your shock troops, these are your street agents. Video of the incident showed Baraka was arrested after he left the congress members and returned to the public side of the gate to the facility, where he rejoined all of the activists and the cameras and such witnesses said the arrest came after Baraka attempted to join three members of New Jersey's congressional delegate representatives Robert Menendez. Wait a minute, is he at a prison already? Oh no, that was Senator. Never mind, it's a different Bob Menendez, I guess, along with La Monica McIver and Bonnie Watson Coleman, who is the woman that I saw doing a little pushing and shoving they attempted to enter the facility on Friday. When federal officials blocked Baraka's entry, a heated argument broke out. Well, at least according to Very Martinez, an activist with the New Jersey Alliance for Immigrant Justice. So we can totally trust her eyewitness account, it continued even after Baraka returned to the public side of the gates. She said, quote, there was yelling and pushing. Then the officers swarmed him. They threw one of the organizers to the ground. They put Baraka in handcuffs and put him in an unmarked car. The Department of Homeland Security said in a statement that the lawmakers had not asked for a tour of the facility, which the agency said it would have facilitated. The department and said that as a bus carrying detainees was entering in the afternoon, a group of protesters, including two members of the US House of Representatives, stormed the gate and broke into the detention facility. What does a Keem Jeffries think of all of this? We'll take a listen, all right, if you're listening to this show, you know I try to keep up with all sorts of current events, and I know you do too, and you've probably heard me say get your news from multiple sources. All right, the House Minority Leader Hakim Jeffries, Democrat from New York, he was asked, I think this was from the Fox News reporter Chad Pergram was asked about whether or not or what Democrats would do. I should say what Democrats would do if some sort of repercussions were to evolve out of their attempts to access this Newark, New Jersey, ice detention facility where there was pushing and shoving and scuffling, and then the mayor of Newark got self arrested. And here's how that went down. This is a team Jeffries. Your statement the other day after there was this incident in Newark, you said, they better not touch our numbers. Correct. What happens if they were to go and arrest these members or if they would try to sanction them doing the house groups? They'll find out what would you do though? I mean I don't find out course, I mean it does not broa change. They'll find out that's a red line. What's the what's the red line? Though? I mean, I know we have this. It's a red line. It's very clear. First of all, I think that the so called Homeland Security spokesperson is a joke. It's a joke. They know better than to go down that road. And it's been made loudly and abundantly clear. To the Trump administration. We're not going to be intimidated by their tactics to try to force principled opposition from not standing up to their extremism. It hasn't happened during the entirety of this failed term. It didn't happen when Donald Trump temporarily was sitting high. In the immediate after math of the election. Do you think it's going to happen now when he's the most unpopular president in American history after his first one hundred days. Give me a break. No one's intimidated by this, dude, No one. And so there are clear lines that they just dare not cross. Okay, So I guess some people are above the law, right, because if I were to go and do what these congress members did or what the mayor did, right, I would be in jail. I would be charged with trespassing, assaulting a federal officer, right. I would be in trouble. You would be in trouble. If we participated in this kind of stuff, we would be in trouble. But that's a red line. They'll find out, they'll find out we're not intimidated like this is this is kind of dare I say, insurrection y I do. I do. Indeed, dare I said it. Jeffers, by the way, was referring to Tricia McLaughlin, the Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for Public Affairs, who promised arrest would be on the table for Democratic Representative Alexandria Cazo Cortez if she quote trespasses and if she assaults law enforcement officers. Here's what AOC had to say. If anyone's breaking the law in this situation, it's not members of Congress, it's the Department of Homeland Security. It's people like Tom Holman and Secretary Christy No. You lay a finger on someone, on Representative body Jautstin Coleman or any of the representatives that were there, you lay a finger on them, we are going to have a problem. Ooo oh my goodness. These are threats, folks. That's what these are. We are going to have a problem. Like what kind of problem? And that's what program was asking, like what exactly what are you gonna find they'll find out? Like, okay, but what they'll find out, so you don't know, don't make me come down there. If I have to get into a fight with you, Oh, I'm gonna do some stuff. They are they do consider themselves to be above the law. Here's a great idea. Email from John Pete, I am confused. I thought the Democrat talking point was no one is above the law. They're actually lucky that all that happened was they were detained. Anybody else well, the members of Congress weren't even detained, only the mayor. Was anyone else trying to break into a secure holding facility could be shot? Something to keep in mind at head to the phones, Ian, Welcome to the show. Hello Ian, Hello sir, how are you doing. Hey, I'm good. What's going on? Uh? Just wanted to say that for me, as someone who has been an immigrant, it is very very distressing for me to see people fighting for the right of illegal immigrants rather than fighting for more easy pathways to goal immigration. I get before upset, but at the same time, still have to be a nation of laws. Ron will to have a country for very much longer. Yeah, So are you saying that that people who did not go through the year's long, lengthy and expensive process of getting naturalized, that they shouldn't enjoy the same benefits that you who did go through that lengthy and expensive process. You don't think they deserve the same things just because they didn't go through that whole long process too. I think that if you break the law coming in in this country, the legally, you should forfeit any and all future opportunities for citizenship. Yeah. Well, and in fact, that is that is the law. Right. If you get caught coming into the country and they deport you back to your home country, you now are not eligible for citizenship. And that's why they're trying to tell people, like, if you ever want to come back, you need to go home now and do it the right way. Yeah, it's kind of like if you break into my house, you're no longer welcome in my home, even if you don't off on the door next time. Right now, that's a fair point. That's simple. I mean, it's not that complicated. And honestly, I think the Democrats they just I think they're honestly trying to fuel so much chaos that they can pan on the president that they can just walk into the midterms, but it's backfiring on them. Yeah. Like I said, this is an issue that sixty five to seventy percent of Americans agree with the president on. So yeah, it's so like, I don't know why they've chosen. Well, I do know why they've chosen this issue. It's because there they're rabid base, their left wing base is an open border's base, and they cannot ignore the demands from their base voters or they will be tossed out in the Democrat primaries. Well for me, sir, and this is just how I've come to believe this is I was adoptim as one and a half, so I know from talking with my family the process it takes to even bring somebody over. So they're not so much skipping me, they're skipping all the work my family had to do. So I have this opportunity to be here. And I was one like the last I called us a breat winter of the last night. When I called in, I was one of the last twenty or so kids the Paraguayan government let come to the United States before they stop allowing American citizens to a thought Paraguayan children. So I am fully and completely and totally aware of being an American citizen is a privilege. It is not an absolute right. You have a right to try to come, but you do not have a right to force your way in. Yeah. No, And I think that point is lost on the native born population. I think people who are you know, Americans by birth, I think they forget that. I really do, like, we are so privileged to have been born in this country at this time, and so I think there is a sentiment that that, you know, if you don't esteem that, because you know, it's just sort of the natural state of things, and you don't recognize the privilege that we have, the blessing that we have, then you're like, well, sure anybody can do it, and it's an insult to everybody who did it the right way. Absolutely, And I have a solution to that. Actually, Okay, I'm all about solutions, So let me hear it ian. I think every single American citizen should one day graduate high school, should a been two years abroad as a tourist somewhere else or working at an American embassy as a foreign service officer, or go to school abroad while they're in college at a foreign university. For two years, or serve in the military for two years. But in any event, I think every American chef will live somewhere else for two years and then come back and see if they don't have more of an appreciation. Yeah. I would not mandate that because I'm I'm lower case a libertarian, but I think it's sound advice on a voluntary basis. I think it's good advice. Yeah, I think that it should be highly encouraged. Yeah, I think it would do. I think it would actually make people appreciate it more. I appreciate the call ian thank you a are you too? All right? Let me jump over and get Chris on next. Hello Chris, Hey, you do a great job. Thanks man, appreciate it. I think that Donald Trump has broken the Democratic Party definitely. They have no idea, they have nothing, and he's been a off. What's going on almost four months. Now, right, Yeah, about one hundred and fifteen days or something. It's almost like he has a it's like a cat in that laser end. He's got him doing one thing and he's doing something else. And the thing about Hakeem Jeffrey and all these Democrats thinking they can go and go outside a facility that is harboring illegal immigrants, which are criminals. Anythink they can just rush in. I've got to ask, why are these are congressional Democrats immune for being arrested for doing this? Well, apparently, according to Hakeem Jeffries, yes, that's a red line, don't cross it. We're not intimidated by you guys. So yeah, apparently they do believe that that that they are above the law, which was weird because I remember them saying nobody is above the law for like three years while they were, you know, getting all of their das to prosecute Trump for all sorts of stuff. So exactly, Hey, real quick, what about all these african or from South Africa that are coming in? What about them? Oh? Well, Democrats don't want him in here. No, they find Yes, that's true. They did finally find a group of immigrants that they want to deport. They finally and it's the it's the white Africaners from South Africa who are fleeing for their lives and having their lands expropriated from them by the communist government in South Africa. We love you, brother, all right, man, I appreciate it. Chris. Thanks. Yeah, Like that's yeah. It's good to see baby steps here people for the Democrats. Baby steps all right, they've identified one group of immigrants that they want to see deported. Let's talk with Chuck. Chuck, how are you, buddy. I'm very well, my friend. What an awesome show. I'm lucky I can catch you while I'm traveling up the blowing Rocks from Florida. Well, welcome to back to North Carolina, buddy. Well, I'll be here a little bit. Maybe we can grab a bke, but we'll talk later about that. The Royalstonian Princess and I went to Tijuana about twenty years ago. Is my first time south of the border. I'm not being disrespectful to the beautiful country of Mexico. But in Tijuana, I witnessed this fire at a place and this fire truck came up, and it was about a nineteen thirty or nineteen forty fire truck. And what I found odd was that behind the fire truck was a cheap full of eyes that jumped out with submachine guns to protect the fire truck and the firefighters. I was terrified. I don't blame those people for coming, but I agree with the other focus previous callers stating that you know these people want to come here. I welcome come on, but please follow the rules. And I agree with everything that's been said so far. Last thing is we got a little bit of a report. I came off exit one hundred off I forty and just momentarily I got a little bit of rogue snow. So I wanted to report that for your travels. Thank you very snowman on the street. Update. Now, regarding the armed guards around the fire truck, are you sure you were in Tijuana and it wasn't Los Angeles? Okay, that's. Doing your sound effects. Now. We got Nick on the board, and we've we've got Bernie on the call screener. But Chuck, yeah, h hit me up and we'll see if we can get together. Good to hear from you. Chuck is my heelf described agent. He's been my agent going back twenty years. He's never landed me a gig, though, which is why I don't pay him either. So it's a pretty good relationship, all right. New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin, whose office is defending a New Jersey state law barring private immigration detention facilities, criticized the arrest because, of course he did. Your state attorney general going to go out on a limb and say he's a Democrat. He condemned the arrest, and he is also suing or sorry, he is defending a state law that I guess the federal government sued over that prevents private immigration detention facilities. Do you remember the Fourth Turning the show? I did a couple weeks back on the Fourth Turning And one of the things that the author talked about was the last thing, the last prediction they made back in nineteen ninety six. All of their others came true. This was the final prediction, was that the crisis phase would be initiated by some sort of nullification crisis, and he predicted it would be over immigration. But he predicted that when Trump was last in office and the states were blocking his efforts, or sorry, when Biden was in office and Texas was trying to enforce immigration law, when the federal government was fighting Texas efforts. With the member of the barbed wire through the river and all of that, the immigration issue has the greatest potential for this nullification crisis. According to the author of The Fourth Turning, you got state saying you can't locate your detention facility in my state. Representative Menendez not the one in prison, This is a different Menendez from New Jersey said in a statement that as members of Congress, they have the legal right to carry out oversight at DHS facilities without prior notice and have done so twice already this year. Okay, so this is their argument that they're making. This to why the three members of Congress descended with activists in tow and cameras and such. This is the reason why they went to inspect the facility. Right by the way, somebody mentioned this, like the detention facility, Like who is in that detention facility? Seventy five percent according to ICE, seventy five percent of the detainees at this facility in Newark are felons. Seventy five percent are felons. That means convicted felons, illegal aliens who are felons, and they're still in the country because the previous administration did not want to remove them. See. I keep coming back to this point, which is keeping the people the bodies in these states allows for a higher census count, which protects Democrat controlled congressional seats. And one analysis that was run that I saw after the twenty twenty four election. I think it was, yeah, yeah, it was after twenty four was that the Republicans would actually have if the US census in twenty twenty did not count illegal aliens, they would have Republicans would have a twenty five seat majority. That's how many people have been brought into the country under the Biden regime, and they've been put into places in order to puff up numbers. So when you do the apportionment of the House seats, you get to keep the seats because California is losing seats. New York is losing seats because people are fleeing those states. So if you bust people in, you fly them in, you count them, but they don't get to vote well, at least in the federal elections, right because some jurisdictions have passed laws to allow illegal aliens to vote in their local races. That's why they're doing this. Also, if Congress has this right to carry out oversight at what federal facilities or I guess a facility because this is a private contractor, but they're getting federal money. In Congress, you know, we provide oversight, which is kind of a joke, but okay, sure. Yeah, you guys actually do some work. Okay, I like it. You know what, let's ramp this idea up. Huh, let's ramp it up. How about every member of Congress. So four hundred and thirty five members in the House, one hundred members in the Senate, so five hundred and thirty five members should start visiting every NGO, every campus, any organization, any federal building, everywhere. Right, anybody that contracts with the federal government should get themselves a congressional rate. Oh I'm sorry, visit a visit, Bring a bunch of cameras, demand to oversee whatever the operation is. Drag the cameras and activists through. Now I know Democrats are going to do this. I think Republicans need to step up their game then, right, they need to start identifying some targets for their own spot inspections aka oversight. Hm. I did say I was going to get back to a Brego Garcia, but I have not because that's very that so me. But I did get an email when I talked about a Brego Garcia is an illegal alien and he was ordered to be deported. His appeal was denied. He failed to win his appeal. He was then ordered to be deported again, and he agreed to be deported, but said, don't send me back to El Salvador. And the Trump administration messed up and they sent him to El Salvador where he is in that Seacott place, the prison. And so I said, none of the MS. Thirteen stuff really even matters to me at this point. None of the wife beating, none of the restraining orders, none of the human trafficking that he was caught doing, right, none of that stuff. All of that stuff, it's all relevant in their earlier court proceedings. That's what they used to determine he was to be deported. But those really are what it comes down to is he's here illegally and he was ordered to be deported. That's it, okay, And Jill says the argument is not should he have been deported, but should he have been deported to a foreign prison? All caps? That makes a world of difference. Okay. So here's what you need to do. You need to petition El Salvador to release their own national from their own prison. But their president said, we're not in the habit of releasing terrorists into our country. See, he's not going to do that because they know who this guy is too. They know who he is. They're not going to release him onto their streets. But that's their call, that's not on us. All right. That'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening.
