Along the same lines here, but we're shifting a little bit from the previous two hours. We now have this big development of the secret coding that they've been using in the FBI case management system, and coincidentally, they used it to hide all of the or a lot of the information that was collected and who was doing the collecting and all of that regarding the Trump Russia collusion hoax, but also the Hunter Biden Barisma Ukraine corruption stuff. Who knows what else. But a couple of weeks ago, there was a story that came across Justthnews dot com again by Stephen Richards, that is along the same lines, because this was a response to the declassification of seven hundred pages by the FBI the new director who transmitted all of this stuff over to Congress about the Crossfire Hurricane investigation, and Richards writes, while Democrats weaponized invented Russia collusion claims in an attempt to sink President Donald Trump's first term, in retrospect, the party's leaders have often gone soft on Russia when it wanted to reap financial or political benefits for themselves or allies from the Obama era Russian reset. Remember that and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's Skulkovo investment project to Hunter Biden's business in Moscow and President Joe Biden's waiving of sanctions against the Russian pipeline NY Democratic figures reaped political and financial benefits from going soft on Moscow. So Justthnews dot Com has made all seven hundred pages from the declassified binder available now to the public. It's on their website. And despite year's worth of focus on the allegations from the Democrats in Congress, an investigation by Special Council Robert Muller did not establish any criminal Trump Russia collusion. Special Council John Durham, appointed to review Muller's probe, ultimately concluded that neither US law enforcement nor the intelligence community appears to have possessed any actual evidence of collusion in their holdings at the commencement of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation, So it was without merit to even begin the investigation, right. But of course now we find out that it wasn't designed to actually, you know, prove a connection or collusion. The purpose was to make sure Donald Trump didn't win the race, which that didn't work out so well. But let's take a look at Democrats' connections to Russia. Richards proceeds with Russia's two invasions of Ukraine, first in twenty fourteen and then again in twenty twenty two. But in the years before the invasion, Democrats enriched themselves politically and personally from Russian oligarchs and businesses in the region, while empowering Putin with energy and technology deals that still haunt America today. Obama took office in early two thousand and nine and then went about setting in motion the merging of US business interests with the Russian economy through the famous Reset. Obama's Reset began in nine as an effort to cool tensions that had heated up when Russia invaded Georgia in two thousand and eight and installed Stacy Abrams as the governor. I'm just kidding, it's George of the country. The reset. Remember when Hillary Clinton went over and met with the Russian guy and had that stupid red reset button. Right. That set the stage then for several prominent Democrats and their benefactors to profit from the burgeoning business opportunities in Russia being facilitated by the Obama administration. Right, we're resetting everybody. We're going to pretend that you didn't do the things you did. And you remember Obama told Mitt Romney when Romney said that Russia is our greatest geopolitical foe, and Obama said the nineteen eighties called they want their foreign policy backed reset. We're friends now, Why sure, we'll do business with you. In one case, the policy of Obama's Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to support and develop Russia's silicon valley known as Skulkovo may have undermined US national security, while the family's Clinton Foundation pocketed donations from Russian donors. That's so off brand for the Clintons. Hillary Clinton was appointed to represent the United States at the newly formed US Russia Bilateral Presidential Commission. She helped direct investments from US partners to the venture, which had already received five million dollars in funding from Moscow that According to Peter Schweitzer in his twenty fifteen book Clinton Cash, the Skulkovo project received backing and support from Clinton Foundation donors like Google, Intel, and Cisco. Additionally, donations from Russian businessmen tied to the Skulkovo project then flowed to the Clinton Foundation. Bill Clinton, you may recall, collected a half a million dollar speaking fee from a Russian investment bank, Renaissance Capital. The speech came at the same time that Hillary was opposing sanctions on Russian officials that later became the Mgnitsky Act. Does that sound familiar the Mgnitsky Act, right, That was the cover story, the ruse for the meeting at Trump Tower between the Russian woman and Donald Trump Junior. I think Eric Trump was there, maybe Corey Lewandowski. I forget who all was there, but this was and I said at the time, I was like, this has all of the hallmarks of a honey trap. The Mgnitzky Act about Biden in Moscow. Biden said at the Munich Security Conference in two thousand and nine, It's time to burst, which translates to its time to press the reset button. Hunter Biden, the Vice President's son, and his business partners, took full advantage of the new thaw in relations. They waged a concerted campaign to squeeze oligarchs in Putin's country for investments, an effort that ultimately paved the way for the first son to score the big payday from Beisma. Hunter Biden and his partner's pursuit of Russian riches began as early as twenty ten, when the Reset was entering full swing with payments from a Moscow based machinery firm and its patriarch, and they intensified a few years later at a time when Joe Biden's son was actually still serving as a US naval officer. Along the way, Hunter Biden and his partner, like Devin Archer, discussed plans to open up a mob Scout office for their Rosemont Seneca partner's firm. They wanted to create a US Russia business coalition and pursue a real estate venture with one oligarch that would have topped out at a billion dollars. Rosemont Seneca was working on developing a real estate fund targeting the potentially lucrative Russian market as relations thought, and finally, Russia invaded Ukraine in the spring of twenty fourteen. According to Devon Archer's testimony to Congress during the impeachment in Koreanto Joe Biden, he and Biden Hunter Biden scrambled to recover their business and looked for investors based outside of Russia, which eventually led to Hunter Biden's now infamous work for Beisma. Yet, despite publicly touting his criticism of Russia and Putin, as well as warnings that the country was America's biggest threat at the time, President Biden waived all sanctions on the Nordstream to gas pipeline, sacrificing a policy of preventing Russia from exploiting its gas supplies in order to improve relations with Nordstream customers, who were our European allies. Right. So again, when they're not weaponizing Russia against Trump, they're cutting lucrative deals with Russians. Here's a great idea. The Associated Press headline Trump orders investigation into Biden's actions as president. President Donald Trump directed his administration on Wednesday to investigate Joe Biden's actions as president, alleging aids masked his predecessors cognitive decline and casting doubts on the legitimacy of his use of the auto pen to sign pardons and other documents. Joe Biden, by the way, has since come out and said. You did right. I onder the code red. Actually he didn't say it. Somebody from the Joe Biden camp issued a statement, so we don't even know if Joe Biden said this, But the Joe Biden team put out a statement ostensibly from Joe Biden saying I did everything. I signed everything. Nobody ever did anything except me, So that settles that. I guess right. The order marked a significant escalation in Trump's targeting of political adversaries, or it it's to expose the biggest political scandal in US history. I mean either way, ap right, like tomato tomato there. But notice the way the Associated Press ascribes motive and escalates things like they call this the significant escalation in Trump's targeting of political adversaries, or is it possible that Joe Biden might actually be involved in one of the biggest scandals and that that means we need to investigate that, because that's what Trump is ordering an investigation and we'll see what it turns up. That's the point of an investigation. Biden response. It also could lay the groundwork at ap reports could lay the groundwork for arguments by the Republican that a range of Biden's actions as president were invalid or invalid in this case, Yes, it would. That's why it needs to be investigated. If people were signing the auto pen and Joe didn't know anything about it, it would raise that prospect. The only reason why you would not want to have an investigation is if you don't want to unwind the things that were signed, right. Biden responded in a statement, he said, Hey, I'm kidding. He says this, and again we don't know if it's because it says Biden responded, but he didn't respond. Somebody in Biden world set out a statement. It says, let me be clear, which means you were obviously were not clear. Prior or you're about to try to muddy some stuff up. But he says, I made the decisions during my presidency, Jack, I made the decisions about the pardons, executive orders, legislation, and proclamations. Look fat. Any suggestion that I didn't is ridiculous and false. So I was adding those. I was adding the namelling in there, just to make it sound more like Joe. You know, the Justice Department, under Democrat and Republican administrations has recognized the use of an auto pen to sign legislation and issue pardons for decades. Trump presented no evidence that Biden was unaware of the actions taken in his name, and the president's absolute pardon power is enshrined in the US Constitution. Okay, Trump presented no evidence. Are you aware? Associated Press reporter Matt Brown and Chris Megerian, Jake Tapper, and Alex Thompson have a book out. I think it's called I think it's called Original Sin. Yeah, you may want to read that because I kind of feel like there's some stuff in the book that would be evidence, I mean, aside from like your own observation of Joe Biden's cognitive decline, which you did not want to report on for the last five years. Later on the piece says it's unclear how far Trump will push this effort, which would face certain legal challenges, but it reflects his fixation on Biden, who defeated him in twenty twenty, an election that Trump never conceded and continues to falsely claim was rigged against him. Again, there it is making it personal, like they're in Trump's brain. This is a hallmark of or a symptom of TDS Trump arrangement syndrome. And this occurs among anti Trumpers and also pro Trumpers where they and I'm talking like your hardcore pro and anti they ascribe motive and they think that they know what Trump is really thinking when he does things or says things. And I will be the Trump whisperer for you. I will tell you what this is really about. I have learned over the last eight years to ignore these people. Anybody that tries to tell me what Trump is actually thinking, pro or con, I dismiss because you don't. You don't know that. And this is what the AP is doing here too. They're talking this up to a fixation on Biden, and they are leading you to believe that it's because Joe Biden beat him, and Trump is just a sore loser and he never got over it, and that's why he's fixated on Joe Biden. Or maybe, just maybe it's that a scandal of historic proportions occurred and the only way to find out what really happened is to actually have an investigation to find out what really happened. The Republican inquiry so far has focused on the final executive actions of the Biden administration, which included the issuing of new federal rules and presidential pardons that they claim may be invalid. Right, well, they may be, especially if he did a whole bunch of executive orders that rewrote a whole bunch of rules that have the potential to hamstring or crash the economy various industries. Right The House Oversight Chairman James Comer of Kentucky requested transcribed interviews with five Biden aides, alleging they had participated in a cover up that amounted to one of the greatest scandals in our nation's history. Quote. These five former senior advisors were eyewitnesses to President Biden's condition and operations within the White House. They must appear before the House Oversight Committee and provide truthful answers about Biden's cognitive decline and who was calling the shots. They have requested interviews with former senior advisors Mike Donnellan and Anita Dunn, former White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain, former Deputy Chief of Staff Bruce Reid, and Steve Rochetti, former counselor to the President. He's also calling for Biden's physician, Kevin O'Connor to come in, as well as former senior White House aides Annie Tomasini, Anthony Bernald, Ashley Williams, and near A Tanden to appear before the committee, and he said subpoenas would be issued if they refused to schedule voluntary interviews. Comer cites the book Original Sin, which details concerns and debates inside the White House and the Democrat Party over Biden's mental state and his age. In the book, Tapper and Thompson wrote, quote, five people were running the country and Joe Biden was at best a senior member of the board. See do you think that might be evidence? Right? Donald Trump calling for an investigation into Joe Biden, but he didn't cite any evidence. There's a whole freaking book, all right. So spring is here a time of renewal and celebrations. Creative Video Preserving Family Memories since nineteen ninety seven, Located in mint Hill, just off four eighty five, mail orders are accepted to get all the details that createavideo dot Com joining us now from the North Carolina Republican Party convent is our own Brett Jensen. You can hear him on Breaking with Brett Jensen Now New Time, a new Time. He now does six till seven. But he is up there covering the convention. I assume he's covering the convention. Brett, how are you just fine? And you know what happens when you assume I do. That's why I did it. So I got up here yesterday. The first day, you know, a little quieter, but gives you a chance to meet people and talk to people and you know, have more time with them. And then today is the big day when everyone starts Arriving's arriving today. A lot of state centers are arriving today. I think Congressman Tim Moore and Marquerris, I think they're all arriving today. So really, today's the day when everyone starts arriving. And if you're an elected official in North Carolina with an arm beside your name, odds are you're going to be here. This So the day before. I've been to enough festivals and stuff, and I feel like you get there the day before so you can hang out at the bar and have drinks with various people. Is that how how close am I? You are? One hundred percent spot on that? But the but the thing is is though, but that's really where it's the easiest way to does it make, you know, borderline sources stronger sources because they trust you because now. You're you know, yeah, you get drunk with thinks with them, right. But it's also but it's also ways to develop news sources and people that you haven't met before. And I will tell you I've met a state senator probably about an hour ago, and we had something in common. And it turns out this state senator, this particular state senator, and I'm not going to name names, but he's a very very powerful state senator. And so what do you have in common? But cigars? Well, well, whiskey. I mean a place that a place that I used to work a long time ago was basically his hometown, Oh okay, And this was a place from you know, like literally like twenty seven years ago, and so we were talking about that and everything like that. So it was it was good. And so we talked about that and now and how he trusts me and you know, and so it's been good. And I can tell you because it's a non election year, Pete, I'm the only media person here. All the other media are getting here tomorrow because Greg Younkin, the governor of Virginia who's running for you as a keynote speaker tomorrow night, and they're all coming in tomorrow. But I've been the literally the only media piece of person here, which is the way I love it. Well, be careful, there could be some like Project Veritas, people from the left brand. They could be doing some undercover stings on you guys. So just head on a swivel, Brett, head on a swivel. All right, So let's talk about some of the stuff though that has I heard your report at the bottom of the hour there about what this election integrity stuff. It's what a nation this is at the national level, but it's informed or inspired by what occurred here in North Carolina. Yeah, that's exactly right. You know. You know, Dave Warren I directly underneath or in conjunction with Michael Walley, the former head of the North Kundra Republican Party who's now the head of the RNE, but together they basically started this program of election integrity where they went around they said Okay, we have to make sure that all one hundred counties are covered. We have to make sure that all twenty six hundred precincts are covered. How are we going to do that. Here's what we're going to do. We're going to hire a bunch of lawyers and have them on standby. And so they wound up there's exactly one hundred counties in North Carolina. They hired over six hundred lawyers to make sure that during the early votings in the primaries in our election days, that everything was being held. And the Democrats sort of didn't know what hit them, and they made sure that, oh, you're crossing the line, you can't be here, you're too close to the ballots, you can't say this like, And the Democrats truly probably didn't know what hit them. And then they incorporated that with Michael Walley and made that national this past election in twenty twenty four, where they hired thousands and to make sure every precinct in America was covered. But it all started with the blueprints right here. In North Carolina. This yeah, because Republican election officials and such have been caught flat footed so many times when challenges come in or there are you know, irregularities or complaints or something, and by the time they are able to you know, muster any kind of lawyer to get down to the site or to file a brief somewhere, it's already too late. And so after multiple election cycles, like I was happy to see them do that this past cycle because it needed to be done. And you know, you've got this this machine on the left that is constantly filing lawsuits. They've got an army of attorneys, and the Republicans were just not even playing the game, it seemed like. So, yeah, that's a that's a positive development. Absolutely. So what else is going on? I know, when people are hanging around the day before drinking some adult beverages and such, some rumors start circulating around around the place. And so what are some of the juicy ones you've heard so far? Well, I mean, I tell you the three biggest rumors that are going on, and I'll do these quickly, but let's just start in no particular order. And Number one Senate majority of the North Carolina Senate Majority leader Phil Berger, and he's in a fight for his life to win the primary, just to win his own primary, Like it is, and a lot of people up here truly think that he's going to lose. And it's so close. In fact, people believe it's so cless that he knows that he very well may lose up in Rockingham County by the way, up just north of Greensboro. But the fact that he may lose is he actually set up they have tables here with candidates and different different clubs and Republican clubs and stuff like that. He actually set up a table here and he's never had a table here as far as I know, and saying, hey, vote for Phil Berger, vote for Phil Burger, support Phil Berger, donate for Phil Berger. And so yeah, he's already putting out campaign material as well. That's a sign also, right Yeah, the local sheriff is challenging him in the primary, and the local sheriff is very popular. Exactly, and they know that the current Senate majority leader may not actually win his own primary. So yes, that is a big thing right now. And then another big rumor is whether or not, you know, and this has been going on for a while, and I've been talking to people about this for over a month, is whether or not Tom Tillis is going to run for reelection. I can tell you a lot of people in d C thought the answer was no. People in Raleigh a couple of weeks ago were unsure. And then to this, you know, this weekend, they think, yeah, he's most likely going to run, but they don't know. And the but the thing is that if he doesn't want run, it's almost a guarantee. I would I would put a lot of money on this that Michael Wattley will run for US Senate on the Republican side for North Carolina against Jeff Jackson. That's probably going to be the matchup. And but right, but here's the here's the. Tillis does not run gets in you think. Right, right? Well, got like I said it, right? You know the other big thing, Pete, Yeah, let's let's say that Tillis doesn't. Let's say Tillis decide stun Is Michael Watley still going to primary him, probably with the endorsement of Donald Trump. Hmmm. I don't know how this whole thing shakes out with the BBB, but yeah, maybe. Yeah, so I don't know. And then the other big Josh Stein was on Stephen Colbert earlier this week. Yeah, and all the scuttle butt is that Josh Stein is telling people privately that he wants to be America's first Jewish president, and that he has no interest in the US Senate whatsoever. The only problem is is that he's going to maybe have a hard time getting ahead of Shapiro, the governor of Pennsylvania, who's actually clearly liked by a lot of people on the right, the center, and the left up there in Pennsylvania. But he's telling from everything that I've been told today, that he is telling people privately that he actually wants to make a run for the presidency, and he's starting to put out feelers. And that's why he did Stephen Colbert earlier this week. That would be awesome if he's only a one term governor. Oh yes, make it happen. Okay, all right, if you're listening to this show, you know I try to keep up with all sorts of current events, and I know you do too, And you've probably heard me say get your news from multiple sources. A bounty of breats, A bounty of breats, a double Brett, Brett Jensen and now Brett Winterble. This is what we call pregaming. All right, got something to run by you? Go ahead. Congressman Clay Higgins, you know who this guy is. I like this guy. I love him. Former prosecutor big fan. Yeah, yeah, has like the colloquialisms and stuff of John Kennedy. I'm a big fan of John Kennedy's too, me too. Sometimes I think is his colloquialism seem a bit forced. Yeah, like he shoehorned some of them in there. Yeah, that one was not a good one. But most of the time he's like spot on. All right. So, Clay Higgins has filed federal legislation requiring drug tests for all members of Congress. Oh, all day, every day, right, and four times on Nancy. I don't know if you would need four. I think the first one would probably pop. No. I think it's important because I remember there was some study or some report that came out gosh, it must have been twenty years ago, and it was like the it was about like the Congressional pharmacy or something. Do you remember this where they were It was like, oh, yes, here are all the meds that they're like they were like fulfilling this. They were filling the scripts for the members of Congress and then they would like deliver them to their office. It was the infirmary they called it. I think it was the. Infirmary, dispensary dispenser. I think it was dispensary and like the list of drugs there was, there were there were drugs on that list that were like anti dementia drugs. Of course, why not? Well now we know why, right? Well? Yeah, so yeah, I mean I feel like if we've got a bunch of uh, you know, crack adult or meth addicted lawmakers like, yeah, I mean you get drug tested it? Right? Did we get drug tested for this job? I don't remember. Well, I was in like I was here at COVID time, So I don't think that there was really any of that going on, right, that's true. I mean people were getting high and drunk every night right around the country, right, But I don't think there was. I think they kind of suspended. The drug test drug testing during that period. I think. By the way, pro tip here, never ask your prospective employer whether you passed your drug test or not. It really don't do that. Don't do why. I mean, I'm clean as a whistle. Well, it may send a signal. I had some poppy seeds last night on my bagel. That's right. It may send a signal that you're you're you know, unclear as to whether or not you would pass. Oh, okay, so it's right. There's I get it right. You're just sending a signal, that's all. That's How about this Trump administration institutes an eighty hour Constitution course for quote deep state executives. That is so good in English? Yeah, this would be for senior executive service, the upper echelon of government employees. They would have to do an eighty hour Wow Constitution and course, eighty hours of video based training. I love it, and culminates in two days of in person training. My own. It is so good. My only concern is that they learn more about the Constitution and then they figure out more ways to get around to. Stick it to us. Yeah, that's a very good point. We ignorance is bliss, and they may make mistakes. Why don't we do like a jury, like a jury poll system where it's like every eighth person has to go and take the thing. Oh how about everybody still takes it? But then we select from pools and they have to give reports. I like that. They have to get up in front of the class. I like that. Why not? All right, that'll do it for this episode.
