Tony "The Science" Fauci celebrated his fame during pandemic | Hour 1

So in case you were not aware, Tony the science Fauci is as big of a fame lover as you thought. This was very clear. The guy is like a raging narcissist. But now we have his own words thanks to the disclosure of various diary entry that he wrote at the time when the COVID pandemic began. As I understand it, Senator rand Paul snuck into Fauci's bedroom and got the little leather bound journal hidden under the pillow, and then he published all of the entries. Either that or Fauci for some reason, wrote all this stuff down on a computer, and when the subpoenas went out for all of his stuff, they got this stuff too. That's probably actually what happened, So they got all of these diary entries. Ran Paul started dumping the documents over the weekend. And by the way, Fauci will be appearing up on Capitol Hill this week. He has been called in to testify, which puts the science in a pretty precarious position because if the science Fauci, if he is going to try to maintain the narrative. The main narrative of the origins of COVID nineteen, right, the narrative that Fauci promoted was that it came from a wet market in Woohan, And now we know that's not true. And the alternative theory at the time was that, no, actually it probably came from that like biological lab about a half a mile up the road, where the bat lady has been doing all of the research on coronaviruses from bats, Like she goes into caves and scoops up batpoop and then turns them into viruses or whatever, and so like, I'm not a scientist, so I don't really know like the extent of the science behind it, But that was the alternative theory, and at the very beginning, both of those theories were discussed by Fauci along with a dozen scientists on a phone call a conference call, and ten of the twelve said lab leak. Only two said no, I think it came from the pangolins or the bat soup or whatever it was that they had mixed up in that toxic brew in the wet market. Wet market means that they sell the animals alive and slaughter them right there, and then you get the blood dripping everywhere, spraying everywhere, cross contamination and parista digitation. We have a highly communicable respiratory virus that somehow jumps to humans. Right, and if you think it came from a high tech, super advanced lab, that makes you racist, not racist, as I went over lad Week, right, not racist is that? Wow? The Chinese people eat some crazy stuff and they engage in all these really weird edible rituals. Not racist. Racist is wow, these scientists really messed up with their biolab That's the racist one. Right. Also, Fauci, I mean some of these diary entries that I've been reading are I mean, it's kind of it's kind of shocking in the hubris in the narcissism. Let me start, this was in March of twenty twenty. Okay, so this was right at the beginning of the you know, the lockdowns, March twenty two, twenty twenty. It's a Sunday, and he's starts off his diary entry. Dear diary, White House Press conference, picked up by many outlets, many print profiles and features on me ridiculous, too numerous to count. That's the first thing. That's the headline, that's the title of his diary entry for that Sunday. Is all of the coverage and all the profiles, all the love of fauci. And then he says cases continue to soar thirty thousand in USA with four hundred deaths Italy still escalating my pleas to the TF by the way, dude to a terrible speller, Okay, like he's got typos just everywhere. So he's saying my please, not my please, but my requests. I'm pleading, you know, I pleas to the TF regarding needed desperately to get ppees and other supplies to New York City. Seems to be working since FEMA in pursuing stuff to them, probably is pursuing stuff to them. Quarter million tests now done, not counting those from hospitals and medical centers. Press is going wild with me. That so he goes from like the death count, and that immediately is like Press is going wild with me. And there's more in this section than what I just read. He writes like three sentences on the thousands, tens of thousands of cases, thousands and thousands of deaths, and then does like twelve sentences on himself. Press is going wild with Me? Front page in Washington Post yesterday and ap ed by Maureen Doud in New York Times today about me and my relationship with the Potus. Profile by Peter Nicholas on me in The Atlantic. I am trying in several articles and on TV to Claire that the Potus is talking about hope for therapies although there are no good data, while I must stick to the science, and so fundamentally we are approaching this from different but not conflicting standpoints. The press are crucifying the Potus for not listening to me and making crazy statements about game changing therapies and praising me for sticking to my guns. So a lot of dead people, but great press for me. You know, eh, Man, life is trade offs. You know what do you do A couple months later, May headline CBS Evening News with Nora O'Donnell, Fox with Bill Hemmer, White House Press Conference, major Washington Post profile on me, and he starts this one off with a daily tracker of global two hundred thirty four one hundred new cases twenty four thousand or sorry, yeah, global quarter million cases, twenty four thousand new cases, ninety eight hundred deaths. Italy now surpassing China in the death count, which that's not true. Like, I've never believed the data that came out of China. They were welding people into their apartments. Right, don't tell me that they that they didn't have more than three thousand deaths. They had probably tens of thousands. USA nineteen thousand, three hundred deaths two hundred seventy two. Talked about at the task force meeting, I stressed the problem about the PPEs being diverted to testing as opposed to healthcare workers. This was the quote unquote noble lie. Remember that first they said masks don't work, so don't bother with them. Well, first they said yeah, So let's say, first they said masks can be effective, But then they said mass don't work. And then they came back out later and said, Okay, yes, masks do work. Everybody get masks. And then people were asking, well, wait a minute, why did you say don't mask? And they were like, well, we said that because we wanted to preserve the equipment for the healthcare workers. And see, that's the thing about the noble lie. If you're telling the lie for a quote unquote good reason, Like if we said everybody go out and get masks, then all of the frontline healthcare workers would not have masks, and so then they would be exposed. So to protect the healthcare workers and to give them first access and priority access, you tell this lie that nobody needs the masks, and then you come out and later say, Okay, I lied, but I did it for the right reason. I did it for a good reason. The thing about the noble lie is that you don't get to survive it. You're supposed to then leave because now no one can trust you. I didn't. After that, I didn't, And I and over this many many times during the pandemic coverage about Fauci right then and there, when you're telling different stories about the masks and the effectiveness the efficacy of the masks, and then you admit that you lied. He has been about himself. He loves, loves, loves to see himself, which we knew. Remember a long time ago, during the pandemic, he was doing some interview or something and he was, you know, in his house, on his you know, zoom call basically, and he had a portrait of himself behind him. Remember that, who does that? Who hangs a like a large portrait of themselves and then make sure that it's in the shot for the live hit. That's okay, Yeah, so may he starts his diary entry. Front page article about me in the Washington Post very flattering. The situation with my national and international fame is explosive and really unimaginable. It is not hyperbole to say that today I am the most famous and talked about person in the country and one of the most recognizable people in the world. Countless profiles on me in multiple media. I cannot even read all the things that are written about me, since I am so busy. Seriously, yeah, no, dude, why are you reading your press clippings. You're in the middle of a pandemic. Potus seems to be enamored of me. He's talking about Trump at this point, seems to be enamored of me, even though I am taking the spotlight away from him. We are developing a very unique and interesting relationship. The entire Secret Service Corps is coming over to me and chatting. They let me into the first gate without even checking ID. Everyone is worried about my health and welfare, probably because it's all over the place that I'm almost eighty years old. It's just it's like, was it main character syndrome here? Like this is all about him drunk on his own fame. He talked in one diary entry, he talks about how he jumped on a call with Barbara streisand he was talking to Barbara streisand because she had questions about COVID, I just don't know. So of course, if you are in that elite strata, you just pick up the phone and you get to talk to Anthony Fauci. I'm Barbara Streisan. I have some questions about COVID, and so she gets she gets a one on one phone call with Fauci, and then he calls her a couple days later and he teaches her about Alexa. That's what he said in the diary entry. And she laughed because he said, oh, Barbara, I listen to your songs while I'm doing my work, and I just tell Alexa And she didn't seem to understand what ALECSA meant? What does that mean? So that I gave her a demonstration on how to use Alexa, and she was so grateful. I mean, look save in the world teaching people how to do voice activated commands. I mean, is there anything that the science can't do really now, slight problem for the science. He does have this congressional hearing this week, and if he's going to be asked, which I'm sure he will be asked about the cover up of the lab leek hypothesis right as the origin of COVID nineteen because at the beginning, when people were thrown around different ideas of where this thing came from, you know, the scientific community came out very strongly on the wet market, right the natural origin story, the proximal origin story is what they called it, that it came from the the bat soup. Well, there are actually members of the scientific community who later on were you know, trash talking the lab leak theory, but they were actually leaning more towards the lab leak theory on a on a conference call with Fauci. And then Fauci comes out, and remember he has a bunch of these science guys write up the proximal origin paper, he does some editing of it than it publishes, and he never discloses that he had anything to do with it, and he cites that paper as the as the sort of you know, end of investigation. This is it. Lab leak is implausible. He trash talks the FBI assessment that it came from a lab, because remember the CIA was saying, we're not sure, maybe the wet market, and the FBI is like, no, probably the lab probably came from, you know, the lab that is working on this kind of research. And so he trashes the FBI over it. So if he's asked about this, why are you telling the public that it's not from a lab while telling or while privately you did discuss it and you had all these people saying yeah, probably did come from the lab. Why did you lie to the public? So what is he going to say? There? Is he going to lie? Now he can? If he lies, that's perjury. And while he does have a pardon from President auto pen he is, that doesn't he's not protected from any future crimes. So if he perjures himself this week, then what oh, now he can be charged? Okay, so all right, don't lie under oath. So that means what he's going to have to admit that he lied? Now can a raging narcissist like him admit that he lied? Maybe I don't know, he admitted that he lied about the masking, So maybe he says, you know what, I just said all of that because I didn't want to create some international incident with China. I don't know, or he could take the fifth. Any of these options. They all lead to the same place, though, which is the utter destruction of the proximal origin BS and the medical community them promoting that as the thing, and the media, oh my gosh, they come out of this looking even worse, I mean even worse than the fame hooker Fauci seriously, like, these diary entries show all sorts of communications with all of these media people who kept bringing him on, got real close and chumming with him. I'll give you a sample in a minute, reading through Anthony Fauci's diary, but not in a creepy way. These were all subpoenaed and have now been published ahead of his congressional testimony. Here's an entry, and this will be important for reasons you shall immediately understand, I'm sure. Especially after I played the audio clip quote, I spoke with Bill Deblasio, Mayor NYC, and convinced him, based on what I was saying publicly and my conversation tonight, to close the New York City schools. He had already decided based on what I was saying on TV. I went on to tell him he should close the bars and restaurants in New York City. He said that he would base this on my recommendation. I had a similar call with Anne O'Leary, the chief of staff of Governor Gavin Newsom of California, and said that based on my TV appearances today and yesterday, the governor has decided to close the schools in California as well as the bars and restaurants. He left the White House and crossed Pennsylvania Avenue in seventeenth Street. Several cars honked their horns and shouted thank you out the window. Came out with this is March sixteen, twenty twenty, came out with the guidelines that reflected my pushing for a more aggressive mitigation fifteen day strategy. If you are elderly self isolate, do not congregate in groups of more than ten people. Stay away from bars, restaurants, theaters, sporting events. If a community has community spread, close the bars, restaurants and places of congregation. Close schools where the community is where there is community spread. No visitors to nursing homes. If family member is sick. Others in families should take extra precautions, only necessary travel, telework as much as possible. Press conference after was highly attended. Stock market dropped by three thousand points, the biggest percentage drop in history. So what does it sound like he's talking about there? I spoke with the mayor of New York City and convinced him to close New York City schools. I went on to tell him he should close the bars and restaurants. This is though, what he said when he was being interviewed by Batya Ungar Sargan. I wonder if you would recommend locking down schools if you had to do it all over again. Well, you know again, it's first of all, I didn't recommend locking anything down. You're asking me questions. You're talking about the CDC is the public health agency that uses their epidemiologists and their science based approach to make recommendations. Hmm, So which is it? Which one is true? Did you recommend them as you wrote in your diary or did you not recommend anything as you told the media. Of course he recommends did this stuff? Of course he did? So where is where's the media on all of this? Tom Elliott from Gravy and News Is. If you're wondering why Fauci was always so eager to go on TV, this super cut might be a helpful refresher. A saint too many as a. Superhero, Doctor Anthony Fauci, American hero and New York Yankee fan. I've done so much for this country in terms of this crisis, so I really appreciate your insight. Who better to give us answers that we can trust than doctor Anthony Fauci. Perfect person to answer our questions today and joining us now, Doctor Anthony Fauci. Dear, yes, doctor Fauci, given the proverbial tongue bath by the media for the better part of two years still to this day, which is why I suspect you're not going to see a whole lot of coverage of all these diary entries and what they say. Part of the problem for a lot of these media folks is that their names are in his diary. He's talking about, for example, fifth day in a row for one thousand day, one thousand deaths per day. Brett Girwar on Jake Tapper, State of the Union, talking BS about testing with Jake, pressing him. I gave Jake some questions to ask him. Jake Tapper woke me up at eleven twenty three am. I went to bed early eleven twenty three am. He slept till almost noon. Jake woke me up furious at the President for tweeting about the fact that Jake severely questioned Brett Grewar on State of the Union. Jake was really mad at the craziness of it all. And then later he says, had dinner over Jake Tapper and Jen Tapper's home in DC. Terrific couple friendship building. He also got very close to the cuomos Chris and who is the governor, Andrew. Yeah, grew very close with them too. I just want to point out something. I try to remember to point this out whenever we go back over and do these types of autopsy reports on the pandemic response. It's important because we need to know what went wrong so we don't do it again. And so when you have people who made all of these decisions that now are never asked about any of their decision making process or why did they say this in the public versus this in private, right, when you don't do that, you end up with a higher likelihood that you're going to make similar mistakes again in the future. So Number one mistake I think we should probably avoid is let's not have an egomaniac fame hooker as the head of the pandemic. Response like that might be Yeah, that might be a lesson learned here. Let me jump over to the text line. A bunch of messages in here. Nine to eight zero numbers, says my cousin's father in law is at the life care center just outside of Seattle where the first major outbreak of COVID started in the US. He was about the twenty eighth person to die from COVID there. Jeff says, answer to the Fauci picture question, Oh yeah, like who hangs a portrait of themselves in their own home? Like that? Ted Knight's character from the Mary Tyler Moore Show comes to mind. His apartment had large portraits of himself and never saw the show. Steve says, who hangs a portrait of themselves? Oprah Winfrey, Barack Obama, Mark Zuckerberg, Barbara streisand Kim Kardashian and other narcissists? David says, please explain again to everyone why Fauci wanted the origin to be the wet market. He was using our money to fund gain of function research for this virus at the Wuham Lamb. Right, that's so right. So David is exactly right. The gain of function research that had been shut down because of precisely this problem, these lab leaks. There were already containment issues at other labs. Obama actually locked all this stuff down. And that's the problem is it's about the funding that the government grants paid for that had connections to you know, Dajak and Eco Health Alliance and Barrick and UNC. Right, So you had all of these these labs that were making bank they were doing this research, they were connected with the Bat lady and will Han and that's what this was. It was basically a cya. They couldn't they couldn't say the lab leak theory was probably correct. It had to have come from the bat soup because this way we had nothing to do with it. In fact, here we go January twenty sixth, twenty twenty, from his diary game On. I don't know why you would say that, but okay, things are changing rapidly. Doctor ma Jahawi, the Chinese Minister of Health, gave a press statement saying that the incubation period of COVID two is one to fourteen days, and that the virus is being transmitted when people are asymptomatic exclamation point. This has enormous implications for how we handle people from Wuhan, like diplomats. Should we quarantine them? I'm very skeptical about the Chinese interpretation of their data. I spoke with a guy from the WHO, and he and Tedros from the UN are going to Wuhan soon. Mike Ryan from the WHO is very skeptical that asymptomatic spread is present or at worst a major driver of spread. He then says we should send our people there. It now appears, using EPI data and genomic data that the first infection was in early December and was not connected to the market, the wet market. The infection spread among people weeks before the Chinese reported that they were dealing with the new infection, and that gave the virus time to establish itself in multi generational sustained spread. Early on, the Chinese were saying there is no human to human transmission and all the original twenty seven cases were from the market. Now we know the market was not the source. It was the amplifier. This was in January of twenty twenty, right at the beginning January twenty sixth. They knew this. They knew that the wet market was not the origin. It was the amplifier. Russ says, I remember hearing Dana Perino on Fox News calling Anthony Fauci a national treasure. So it wasn't just all legacy media. Fox News had a reverence to him like that too. I wouldn't doubt it. Seven oh four member says, what about Anthony Fauci's service with AIDS Yet? You remember the movie Dallas Buyers Club with Matthew McConaughey. The villain in that movie is Anthony Fauci. People never connected that the government's position that you can't go get these therapeutics from Mexico to help deal with HIV. Right, the cocktail of all these different drugs, that was Fauci's crowd that stopped all that. So the AIDS virus kept spreading. And Hank says, he is why I will never trust anything a government official says again about anything. Okay, don't blackpill, Hank, don't blackpill. All right, that'll do it for this episode.
