So, um, in the last two hours, we were talking about the Nicole Hannah Jones stuff and education and everything else. And one of the callers we got, uh, from, uh, from a caller named snake. And, uh, we were talking about, uh, I think we got into the election. I think, I think that was the call and, uh, got a couple of replies about this. And I mentioned that I would discuss this topic about the election, but also, uh, like what people are looking for as far as outcomes and, you know, their, you know, the demoralization that is occurring, the doomerism that is occurring, mainly on the right. Notice, we're not seeing any kind of demoralization efforts against the left. We're not seeing any of that. You're not being bombarded on your TikTok feeds about how, you know, oh my gosh, the. The whole thing is collapsing. Right. You're not getting anything like that from the media. It's all about how Republicans are going to lose. Trump is terrible. And that is meant to keep people who would otherwise go out and vote for Republicans. That's meant to keep you home. That's the demoralization effort. Now, I'm not saying every single article is written in order to demoralize. However, there is a. Cumulative pile-on effect that occurs and people start thinking, there's no point to me voting. I'm so disillusioned and all of that. And this is why I said in the last hour, and I'll say again, and I'm going to give you some survey results here, which should be pretty disturbing. They are to me, that this election to me appears to be a choice between Republicans, and all of the different Republicans, all of those people involved, like I'm not defending every single Republican official or candidate or anything like that. However, in general, it is Republicans and Marxist Islamists, the Red-Green Alliance. That's what seems to me to be on offer, that we can proceed down a Marxist, path, thanks to the DSA ascendancy inside the Democrat party, right? The embrace of people who are jihadi adjacent, right? You can vote for that or you can not show up to vote against that and thereby give them more power, right? Because if you don't show up and you don't vote for a Republican, then the chances increase that the The Red-Green Alliance is empowered, and they win. And if they win, boy, do they have some ideas. All right, so let me go over here. Hang on. I have some texts on this. Bebop in Rock Thrill. He says, gas prices are too high, so let's vote for the party that shut down the Keystone pipeline and wants everyone to drive electric cars. That seems like an awesome solution. Yeah. This is the disconnect. This is sort of the, it's like a, it's a tantrum, right? That I don't like this one thing. And so I'm going to take my ball and go home. I'm not going to play anymore. Again, I point out this experiment in self-governance requires people to actually pay attention and be engaged and participate in their self-governance. And if you refuse to do so, for some quote unquote principled stand, if you refuse to participate at all in the process, then you're going to be governed by people who do choose to be engaged in the process. And generally speaking, people who want to rule over others, whether it's at the HOA level or it's at the national level, people who want to rule over others, they always participate because that's what they're interested in, right? They want the power over other people. And if you don't want other people to have that kind of power over you, then you should probably give a damn, you know, that's, I'm not telling you to do so. I'm just saying, this is the responsibility. Should you choose to be responsible to participate in your own self-governance? And maybe this experiment doesn't work. Maybe, um, We human beings need to be ruled over by tyrants and kings and communists or Islamists, right? Maybe. I don't believe that to be the case. I would prefer it not to be the case. So that's why I try to encourage people who agree with me to go out and exercise their responsibility, their obligations to participate in the self-governing experiment. And so when it comes to the gas prices, I understand people are mad about gas prices. I would prefer gas prices come down too. Sure. However, the answer, I don't believe, is to put back into power the people who want to abolish all fossil fuels. The people who have, for basically my entire adult life, have been championing higher gas prices. Right? Right. Democrats have wanted gas prices to be higher in order to induce people to stop driving cars or to stop using gas-powered equipment and the like. They want us to move to green energy, right? They want everybody to get off of the gas. And so high gas prices was a way to induce that behavior, to socially engineer the society. So... Why do you think they're going to lower them? Why do you think they would be better for the gas prices? This is the disconnect I'm talking about. I don't understand. Like, I understand you're mad about gas prices being high. I don't understand the solution being put the people in power who like the gas prices to be high. That doesn't make any sense. That is not logical to me. Yeah, here's another one from Timoteo. What... What supposedly are Democrats going to do to bring down the cost of gas? I don't know. I don't know. There isn't any way to do so except to pacify the Middle East, right? To make it more peaceful over there somehow. Good luck on that. Not sure Democrats have ever had a way to do that. Or... It's to ramp up production and to secure oil and gas in the Western Hemisphere, as I believe Trump has been doing. With the fracking. Remember, Democrats opposed the fracking. And because they failed at that, that's the reason why we don't have $ 10 a gallon gas right now. We've allowed for oil exploration and drilling and all of that because of Trump's first term. And so now... You got the Venezuela oil. You got the... Was it UAE that dropped out of OPEC? Venezuela, hopefully, will follow suit. So you basically inoculate us from all of the problems in the Middle East. Then we don't have to be there anymore. We don't have to worry about it anymore. Europe, I mean, they're kind of screwed because that's where they get their oil from, but maybe they'll start getting it from us. In fact, they already have been starting to do so. Maybe we become the... largest exporter of oil, which in fact, actually we have become. So like that's, that's the other way to go is to lean in and do more of that and become the dominant global producer of oil. That's another way to bring down the prices, right? Do you think Democrats do that? They never have. They, they actually argued against it. They don't want to drill anywhere. They don't want to increase fossil fuel production. So, again, I understand the anger at the oil prices. I don't understand the solution being empower the people who want the oil prices high. I don't. That does not track. Let me see. Oh, and then I got a message from, oh, my goodness. Eric says, I'm an independent and have checked out. Both parties are nuts. And so I wrote back, that sounds like a good reason to let the Marxist Islamists take over. Okay. You're right. You checked out. No problem. Then don't complain when the left, when the red-green alliance takes over. Eric followed up by saying Trump's betrayal on Iran was the last straw. He was the last hope and turned out to be just another politician. What was the betrayal? He said Iran can't have a nuclear weapon. I went over all of this. At the time. It's actually one of the only things he's been consistent on since he came down the golden escalator. Actually, going back to the 80s, he's been clear on this. They can't get a nuke. And if you think, like, prices are high, imagine if they have nukes and can threaten the entire Middle East. What do you think happens to the price of oil then? All right. Alrighty, so I mentioned this website, Liberal Currents, and a piece written by Chance Phillips. they partnered with the center for strategic politics. They put together a poll of democratic voters and asked them a whole bunch of questions. Um, first off Kamala Harris seems to have the lead. The poll shows 25% of Democrats would vote for her today. And 33% of Democrats have her as either their first or second choice. Um, But again, that's just one snapshot of where we are right now. And I mean, we got a midterm election first, so it's premature and all of that. But figured I would let you know. More importantly, what do Democratic voters believe? This is the question in the piece here. The Democratic Party, he writes, is a mass party. Because of this fact, it tends to be a fractious party. Remember, this is somebody from the left. This is a website of the left. This is their polling. This is their analysis. The Democratic base, however, does appear to be quite unified on at least a few different topics. Obviously, Gaza. But a majority of Democrats are in support of ending the filibuster and changing local zoning codes to facilitate more residential construction. Another question we asked. found the Democrats on net highly support the public ownership and operation of the healthcare industry, the pharmaceutical industry, the electrical grid, the rail system, and artificial intelligence. Public ownership and operation of healthcare, pharmaceuticals, utilities, The rail system. AI. That is Marxism, folks. That is owning the means of production. That's what they're talking about. They want the government to run your healthcare, pharmaceuticals, electrical grid, the rail lines, and AI. That's on the ballot. Democrats aren't talking about this, but this is what Democrat voters want. And you know that the politicians know this. The percentage of Democrats who support the next president packing the U.S. Supreme Court, now they don't say that, they say expanding it, but packing the court, 69%. So do you think that's not going to happen? You're mad at gas prices being high, So you're going to sit home and you're going to end up with you're going to end up with Democrats in power who are then going to pack the U.S. Supreme Court, who will then start making law. They will act as a super legislature. That's what that that's what that's about. Right. That's the point of packing a court is so you can then sue. You can then have. Your lawyers with the wardrobe change on the bench saying, yeah, you know, that's not in the law or, you know, that's actually unconstitutional, but we're going to figure out a way to give you what you want because the ends justify the means. For example, Roe v. Wade. Well, we're going to find abortion somewhere in the language of a right to privacy. That's what they did. It was a ruling so terrible that they had to come back and the Casey Supreme Court ruling, Casey v. Planned Parenthood, they actually undid a lot of the Roe v. Wade rationale. People talk about Roe v. Wade, but it's actually Casey. That was the main problem. But the point here is that you're going to get a Supreme Court with new seats, additional seats added, packed with all leftists, who will then conjure up all sorts of interpretations to advance their cause. That's why they want to pack the court. Because remember, I. Believe it was the House just ran a bill about, what, a week ago or two weeks ago to expand the court. And Democrats voted no. But it's what they want. No, no, no. They only want to expand the court if they get to pack The seats. Same thing with the filibuster. You want to get rid of the filibuster? Not right now. We'll do it when we're in control. But don't have 60 votes. So we can ram through what we want to ram through. This is all about power. That's what's on the ballot. And you can stay home because of high gas prices if you want. But just recognize that's the tradeoff. A packed U.S. Supreme Court that will impact the country for generations to come. I mean, it is a decision. I think it's a stupid one, but that is your choice. More from the text line. Stanley says, the government already runs all of those five industries via regulatory agencies. Yeah, they may regulate these industries, industries to some degree others more so but they do not they do not own and operate those industries recognize so. This is so frustrating it's like this. Yeah but it's already bad like well that's not an excuse to make it worse i've railed against the regular uh the the regulatory bodies and the the the government intervention in healthcare. Obviously I agree. There are also all sorts of problems. I'm not arguing there aren't problems. I'm not arguing the government is doing too many things already. That's not my argument. My argument is, do you want them to do more? I do not. Why would you empower people that are promising to do more of the thing you don't want? Right? That's my point. And as far as AI, no, they're, that's, That's what the Democrats are calling for now is because they're not being regulated. AI industries are, the AI industry, these companies, they're not being regulated. And the Democrats want to regulate them. They want the government in charge of this. Think about what this is saying. They want public ownership and operation of all of the electric grid. And I understand, like, here locally we have the Duke Power model and it's a government-regulated industry. That's not the same throughout the country. There are co-ops. There are all sorts of different models everywhere. Pharmaceutical industry. Yes, regulated. Absolutely. So the answer then is to what? Just let the government run the pharmaceutical companies? How is that a better opportunity? Option? I don't understand. I don't understand this. This makes no logical sense to me. If you're opposed to government intervention and highly and high regulations, why would the answer be let the party that wants to own it and operate these industries. Let's just, let's just hand it over to them. And that'll show the Republicans. That's just, it doesn't make any sense. It just does not make sense to me. Stanley also says, here's the question I have. Even if where we are right now is not where we thought we'd be when we elected the current legislature and president to return to the party that governed us from 2020 through 2024, And those policies, that's the answer? It seems this is the midterms irony. Again, yeah, I don't understand this either. Like, people are complaining that you didn't get everything you wanted when you voted for Trump and you voted for Republicans. And you think that a, what, four-seat majority in the House and like a one-seat majority in the Senate, that this is supposed to give you everything you wanted. You hear Eve? If.... If this is what you thought would happen with the kind of slim majorities that the Republicans have, if that's what you thought would happen, I would submit you are uninformed about our governing structure. It is very, very difficult to advance legislation. And that, my friends, is by design. That is a good thing. A federal government that has restrained from just passing all sorts of laws all the time. That is a good thing. Like I like the gridlock gridlock means less gets done from a bad thing, from a bad perspective, bad legislation dies because of the gridlock because of the, the, the structure. Yes. It makes it harder to get good legislation through. However, there's very little good legislation, right? That's ever proposed, but, Bad legislation has a harder time getting through too. That's a feature, not a bug. So I've always said I am okay with the gridlock. But if you thought having a one or two seat majority was going to mean you can ram through everything, I don't think you understand how those bodies operate, which is why people want to blow up the filibuster so they can now do things with a single seat majority in the Senate, right? So we can just ram everything through while we have power, right? And then what happens when the other guys have power, then they're going to ram everything through that they want done. And then you have this, these wild swings. This is the problem with presidents using executive orders in order to basically act as a legislative body themselves. I don't like these things either, right? You've, we've empowered the presidency at the expense of the legislative body. That's not ideal either. Um, Here's what else the Democrat voters would like to see. The United States, they're asked, to what extent do you agree or disagree with these statements? The U.S. Would be a better country if it accepted more immigrants from many different backgrounds. 68% agree with that. Okay, so whatever gains were made on combating illegal immigration, right, the shutdown border, the deportations, like, All of that stuff gets reversed, right? To Stanley's point, like you want to go back to that, the 2020 model, the Joe Biden model, because that's what you're going to get. Pack in the U.S. Supreme Court, 69% favor that. 69% of Democrats want to pack the court. 52% want to end the filibuster. Billionaires shouldn't exist. 38% say that. Well, what does that mean? 38% say billionaires should not exist. So does that mean that you, you, you earn or you make 999 million, 999,000, whatever. Like as soon as you, as soon as you get to the billion dollar mark, now all of that wealth gets confiscated. Is that how that works? Democrats should move to the right on transgender issues, including supporting bands on trans kids playing on school sports teams. 42% oppose that. So do not, Do not move to the right. Do not abandon the trans issues. 42%. Don't want to abandon them. The Senate should be abolished. One ray of sunshine. 63% of Democrats do not want to abolish the Senate. So they're not completely insane on every issue. Now, the DSA... which does want to abolish the Senate. Um, they are at a plus 34 net approval among Democrat voters. Well, how about, um, imprisoning, uh, Republicans, specifically members of the Trump administration? Oh yeah. They want to do a lot of that. They want to imprison, uh, Trump administration officials for actions taken by ICE and Border Patrol. Stephen Miller specifically for the lethal strikes on boats in South America. They want to imprison Pete Hegseth. They want to imprison anybody for prosecuting the war in Iran. And they want to imprison anybody, including in the Biden administration, for any actions related to Israel's, quote, genocide in Gaza. Not a genocide, by the way. So a lot of imprisonment. They're looking forward to that. Also, how happy would you be if Trump was no longer president? And what would make you happy to make that happen? Impeachment? 25th Amendment? Dies in office? How about a military coup? Or an assassination? Yeah, they're generally okay with all that. All of them. From the text line, Kevin says, I couldn't agree more. People staying home because things are expensive is ridiculous. Letting lefties take over the Supreme Court is going to have long reaching consequences for sure. However, us voters are dumb and we only think about what's hitting us in the face right now. This is a reality. I'm going to do what I can personally. I hope it will be enough, but I fear it won't be. Tracy says, you're the man, Pete. The Democrats and the DSA will send illegal immigration back into our country. They will tell you who will live in your home. This is how socialism and communism work. Wake up DSA or wake up USA. Sorry, wake up USA. So here is the polling from, again, this is from a liberal outfit. What's it called again? Liberal currents.com. Here's the question, and they're asking these Democrats to respond, would you feel very positive, somewhat positive, very negative, somewhat negative, and then there's sort of a neutral middle, which is neither positive nor negative. So like, neutral, right? So how would you feel? President Donald Trump has been impeached and convicted by both houses of Congress and has been removed from office. Very positive, 75%. Somewhat positive, another 12%. And then if you chuck in the neutrals, you're at 94%. So they very, very, very, very much want to see him impeached and thrown out of office. Not really surprising. Next is how would you feel about using the 25th Amendment to have him declared unfit by a majority of his cabinet and removed from office? 70%, very positive. Another 14%, somewhat positive. That takes you to 84%. You chuck in the neutrals and you're at 93%. So overwhelmingly, they would very much like to see him removed through impeachment or the 25th Amendment. Okay, well, how about if he just dies overnight in his sleep? How would you feel about that? 45%, very positive. Another 10%, somewhat positive. So now you're more than half. would feel positive, right, if he died in his sleep. You throw in another 28% of the neutrals and you're at 83%. Would feel positive or would have no feeling at all, basically, if he dies in his sleep overnight. It's like they've never heard of J.D. Vance. Anyway, how about to safeguard the Constitution... A group of U.S. Military leaders have removed President Donald Trump from power and assumed control of the United States. So this would be a military coup, right? That's what this would be. How would you feel about that, Democrats? 43%? Very positive. Another 16%? Somewhat positive. So that would total 59% of Democrats. would feel good about a military coup. 59%. Throw in the neutrals and you're now at 72% would feel positive or would have really no opinion at all. Positive, negative, whatever. I'm neutral. 72% are okay with a coup, military coup. For democracy, of course. See, nothing says democracy like a military junta, right? Or how about if the president were to be assassinated? 23% of Democrats would feel very positive about that. Another 9% somewhat positive. So that's 32%. That's one out of three Democrats would feel good about the president being assassinated. What about the neutrals? Well, that's another 25%, which would mean. 57% of Democrats would feel positive or at best neutral about the president being assassinated. Yeah. Now, this is framed by this liberal website. The one method that a sizable plurality of Democrats report would make them feel worse is assassination. That's not actually true. Like, a plurality, yes, you've got 43% versus 32% that would feel bad. 43% would feel bad. But if you throw in the neutrals, because I don't know how you could be neutral on any president being assassinated. That should be Bad. You should feel bad about that. You should feel negative about that. There should be no ambiguity, no matter who the president is. But I guess this is where we are. Also, are Democrats woke? Self-reported on the wokeness meter, they say, do you consider yourself woke? 34% very woke, 25% somewhat woke. So that's a total of 59% are woke on the Democrats. So just in case you thought one woke 1.0 was crazy and it's over. It's not. All right. That'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening.
