[00:00:28] Mecklenburg County Sheriff Gary McFadden, or as I call him, Gary, not my fault, McFadden, because nothing is ever his fault. He has excuses for everything. Last week, his chief deputy who quit and his chief former chief deputy, Kevin Canty.
[00:00:49] This is a guy who worked for the State Bureau of Investigation. I think it was CMPD. Has known McFadden for years. Took a job, didn't even last a year, and has now gone public with his resignation letter where he documents a litany of what I would consider to be maladministration by this sheriff.
[00:01:19] Constant degradation of employees, use of racial slurs, browbeating his command staff at every single meeting that Canty attended.
[00:01:33] And when asked to respond, McFadden refused all media requests.
[00:01:39] But he was scheduled to appear on Friday at a graduation ceremony for the latest recruitment class of sheriff's deputies and promotions, I think.
[00:01:54] And I think there were seven of them. And their families are there and all this.
[00:01:59] And he gets up onto the stage. And immediately launches into.
[00:02:05] What I have described as a rambling, incoherent and inappropriate, unscripted speech.
[00:02:12] And he said that he says, I don't write my speeches. I never write speeches like first off, dude, write your speeches or get somebody to help you write your speeches.
[00:02:21] You're not good at this. Now, you could say, well, I got elected.
[00:02:27] That doesn't make you a good orator. You are not. OK, you're not.
[00:02:34] He's bouncing all over the place. He starts telling stories and and goes off far field.
[00:02:41] And it's just this was not the place. These people are there for a life event.
[00:02:47] And you made it about you. And he keeps going back to this refrain.
[00:02:56] That he is the persecuted one. He's the one who is the victim.
[00:03:03] He's also the hero. And that really makes sense because, you know, we're always the hero or the victim.
[00:03:09] We're never the villain in our own minds. He didn't do anything wrong.
[00:03:14] It's not his fault. They said, Sheriff, how do you deal with it?
[00:03:20] I have these two poems that I live in my head with all the time.
[00:03:23] One is called If. If you don't know it.
[00:03:28] I would recite it, but I don't want to even do that.
[00:03:30] The one is if. OK, how can you keep your head about you and all others are doubting you?
[00:03:35] The other one is evictus. Your head is bloody, but unbowed.
[00:03:42] Do you get the you get the theme?
[00:03:44] Right. Do you get the do you get the sense that he has a certain outlook on the way he moves through the world?
[00:03:54] He alone. He is the victim and the hero.
[00:03:58] I am I am bloodied, but not bowed.
[00:04:04] Because I know somebody saying, how does he do it?
[00:04:07] Did anybody pray for you this morning?
[00:04:10] Will they pray for you tomorrow?
[00:04:12] What?
[00:04:12] They need to pray for you every day.
[00:04:14] I will pray for you every day.
[00:04:16] Hero.
[00:04:17] They will say, well, don't talk to the sheriff.
[00:04:19] You have to choose that.
[00:04:20] One of the best smiles I saw this week was from that young lady right there.
[00:04:24] She don't even know I knew that.
[00:04:25] One of the best smiles I got this week is from her.
[00:04:29] Hey, sure.
[00:04:30] And I knew she was in that room about to be ready to sit here today.
[00:04:34] I don't need to know her name, but I saw her heart and I saw it in her eyes.
[00:04:39] But when I look back a year from now, I wish I could see the same.
[00:04:42] But will it be the same?
[00:04:44] And who would they blame?
[00:04:45] They would blame the sheriff.
[00:04:48] Victim.
[00:04:48] Because it's easy blame to blame the man at the top.
[00:04:51] Victim.
[00:04:52] Racism.
[00:04:54] Find it.
[00:04:54] Something I deal with all my life.
[00:04:57] Each and every day.
[00:04:59] Racism.
[00:05:06] He's always the victim.
[00:05:09] I can't be racist.
[00:05:10] I'm a victim of racism.
[00:05:12] Like, okay, first off, not how that works.
[00:05:15] That is not how that works.
[00:05:17] What a demented way of thinking.
[00:05:21] I mean, that's like saying, well, I was sexually abused, so I couldn't possibly sexually abuse somebody else.
[00:05:26] That's just, this guy was a homicide detective?
[00:05:34] Holy smokes.
[00:05:38] He denied he's racist while ignoring the actual charge, which was that he used racial slurs and his record is on audio recordings.
[00:05:48] Doing it.
[00:05:52] Describing his staff in these terms and the other allegations center around him bullying his deputies.
[00:06:01] Am I direct?
[00:06:03] Absolutely.
[00:06:03] My staff will tell you, I ask you a direct question and I'm looking for a direct answer.
[00:06:09] That's what I'm looking for.
[00:06:11] I'm looking for a direct speech.
[00:06:13] Can I get a direct speech?
[00:06:15] Can I get some direct thoughts?
[00:06:17] Some concise thoughts.
[00:06:20] Coherent thoughts.
[00:06:22] That are not about you.
[00:06:23] That are about the deputies that have just made a commitment in their lives to go do a very, very difficult job.
[00:06:33] To go work for you.
[00:06:36] And you make this speech, their welcoming speech, their celebration speech, you make it about you.
[00:06:45] Rather than go and do interviews last week on Friday or whatever.
[00:06:50] Rather than do that, you sit alone in your office.
[00:06:54] That's what, these are his words.
[00:06:56] He said he was in his office all alone all day.
[00:06:59] No one came to visit him except that one person.
[00:07:02] And then they had like the best conversation ever.
[00:07:06] And he doesn't want to hear anybody asking, hey, is there anything you need today?
[00:07:10] He doesn't want to hear it.
[00:07:11] That one word.
[00:07:12] Is there anything you need?
[00:07:14] Which isn't one word.
[00:07:17] By the way, have you noticed the repetitive pattern he does in his, in his oratory?
[00:07:24] Racism.
[00:07:25] No, no, no.
[00:07:26] Racism.
[00:07:26] No, no, no.
[00:07:27] Racism.
[00:07:28] Like.
[00:07:29] And I'm sure he thinks he's nailing this.
[00:07:32] Not to live in fear of me.
[00:07:35] But live with me each and every day.
[00:07:38] I'm proud of you all.
[00:07:40] I'm proud of you all.
[00:07:41] But I said yesterday at a meeting.
[00:07:43] What will the recruits think when they see all of this on the news?
[00:07:45] What will their family think when they see all of this on the news?
[00:07:48] Did they make the right decision?
[00:07:50] Did they make the right choice?
[00:07:51] What am I child is going to be up against?
[00:07:54] Criticism.
[00:07:57] People who eat with you, eat with your family, eat with your wife.
[00:08:02] You will be criticized.
[00:08:03] But what do you do?
[00:08:04] You search deep in your soul and your heart and every day and said, bloody but unbowed and still I stand.
[00:08:13] Again, I don't have any idea what he's talking about.
[00:08:17] It's like he's weaving in personal grievances against, I guess, Eric or Kevin.
[00:08:24] Eric or Kevin.
[00:08:25] Canty.
[00:08:25] His chief deputy who quit.
[00:08:30] I guess that's who he's talking about.
[00:08:32] Like Kevin Canty.
[00:08:34] That, oh, I ate dinner with them.
[00:08:36] I broke bread with them.
[00:08:37] Is that a reference to something like that?
[00:08:39] I don't know.
[00:08:42] He then describes a conversation he had with staff earlier in the day.
[00:08:47] So I guess this was another instance of when he wasn't alone in his office all day long.
[00:08:54] So he had another two examples.
[00:08:58] So he gets up there and he says, I was alone in my office all day long, sitting alone.
[00:09:03] Like nobody wants to hang around Gary anymore.
[00:09:06] Nobody, everybody's all worried.
[00:09:09] It's awkward.
[00:09:10] It's embarrassing.
[00:09:10] Yeah, that kind of happens when the boss is using racial slurs against employees.
[00:09:16] Yeah, that tends to create a hostile work environment.
[00:09:22] And people now don't feel comfortable coming to you.
[00:09:26] And he's like, oh, you think I'm a racist?
[00:09:27] You need to come talk to me.
[00:09:29] Why would I do that?
[00:09:31] Why would anybody do that?
[00:09:33] Oh, the whispers in the hallway, he says.
[00:09:36] There are whispers in the hallway about this stuff and you need to decide.
[00:09:39] He's basically saying you're with me or you're against me.
[00:09:42] That's what it sounds like he's doing.
[00:09:44] But he doesn't actually come out and get that direct despite him categorizing all of his comments as direct.
[00:09:52] See, when I call you a cracker, I'm just being direct.
[00:09:56] That's all.
[00:09:57] That's not racial at all.
[00:09:59] What are you?
[00:10:01] You're not the victim.
[00:10:03] You're the villain.
[00:10:04] You know, stories are powerful.
[00:10:06] They help us make sense of things, to understand experiences.
[00:10:10] Stories connect us to the people of our past while transcending generations.
[00:10:13] They help us process the meaning of life.
[00:10:16] And our stories are told through images and videos.

[00:11:07] So Gary McFadden, at this speech on Friday, he then describes a conversation that he had had with staff while he was in his office all alone, but apparently had a meeting at the same time, but whatever.
[00:11:22] And I view this as an attempt at deflection and positioning himself as the victim in all of this.
[00:11:29] I told someone at the meeting, my meeting this morning, I said, you know what I found out last week?
[00:11:36] What my great, great grandfather was sold for.
[00:11:43] My great, great grandfather, because I mean to heritage.
[00:11:47] My great, great grandfather was sold for $800.
[00:11:57] Racism?
[00:11:59] Something that I have to live with every day?
[00:12:01] But think about the racism that I deal with and don't even mention it.
[00:12:05] Don't even blink.
[00:12:07] Still hug you and still walk through this halls each and every day.
[00:12:12] Nobody knows what to say.
[00:12:14] Nobody can provide me comfort.
[00:12:18] I find comfort within.
[00:12:20] And that is what's going to keep you all.
[00:12:22] God's prayer.
[00:12:24] God's comfort.
[00:12:26] And you keep this.
[00:12:28] And this.
[00:12:30] He's pointing to his heart and his head.
[00:12:32] Because that's the only thing that's going to get you through these next years or months or however long that you stay with me.
[00:12:39] A day or two.
[00:12:40] Criticize.
[00:12:41] Talked about.
[00:12:42] Point at.
[00:12:42] And everything else.
[00:12:43] Will you sit alone and nobody comes to see you?
[00:12:45] Absolutely.
[00:12:46] And then you know what's happened?
[00:12:48] I run all of the excuses later.
[00:12:49] While I was busy.
[00:12:50] I was too.
[00:12:54] I run a whole agency.
[00:12:55] I just don't run a shift.
[00:12:56] I run a whole agency.
[00:12:58] I just don't run a department.
[00:12:59] I run a whole agency.
[00:13:01] I just don't run the courts.
[00:13:03] The field.
[00:13:04] The burden is on my shoulders.
[00:13:08] When people leave, it's on my shoulders.
[00:13:12] So if you can take this in your heart, ladies and gentlemen.
[00:13:15] And don't worry about what people say about you.
[00:13:19] How they will criticize you.
[00:13:22] How they will disappoint you.
[00:13:24] How they will stand together.
[00:13:26] And they can find everybody to talk against you.
[00:13:32] If you can do that.
[00:13:34] Maybe one day.
[00:13:37] You will give this speech.
[00:13:39] Maybe one day.
[00:13:41] That you will wear these stars.
[00:13:43] Maybe one day.
[00:13:44] That you can say.
[00:13:45] I remember.
[00:13:48] In the office by myself.
[00:13:50] Came to work early.
[00:13:53] Everybody's concerned.
[00:13:56] Chief White calls me and says.
[00:13:58] Are you all right?
[00:13:59] I said yeah.
[00:14:00] I'm good.
[00:14:02] That's my saying.
[00:14:03] I'm good.
[00:14:06] Now I say I'm great.
[00:14:08] Why?
[00:14:09] Because I'm going to stand this test.
[00:14:12] Mm.
[00:14:13] Mm-hmm.
[00:14:14] He sounds good, doesn't he?
[00:14:15] Sounds great.
[00:14:16] Sounds like he's doing just fine.
[00:14:21] Guys, this is a problem.
[00:14:23] Democrats in Mecklenburg County.
[00:14:25] You guys need to watch that video.
[00:14:27] You need to hear these clips.
[00:14:30] You need to understand what it is that you are looking at and hearing.
[00:14:34] And then you guys need to do what the citizens need you to do.
[00:14:40] Kim says, just wow.
[00:14:42] Wow.
[00:14:43] I sincerely hope that an orthopedic specialist can reach out to him to fix that giant chip on his shoulder.
[00:14:49] I'm also curious if the new grads will even report to work.
[00:14:52] Thank you for all you do.
[00:14:54] I arrange my schedule so I can listen to you.
[00:14:56] Thank you, Kim.
[00:14:57] I appreciate that.
[00:14:58] You can get the podcast also.
[00:15:00] It comes right to your smartphone or tablet.
[00:15:01] Then you can listen to whatever you missed.
[00:15:04] You know?
[00:15:06] Jennifer wants to know, where can the video of McFadden's speech be found?
[00:15:12] On the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, they posted a video of the entire celebration.
[00:15:23] You can watch it on their...
[00:15:25] That's where I watched it.
[00:15:27] I don't know if it's still up there.
[00:15:28] I'm assuming it still is.
[00:15:31] Dennis says, I'm figuring Sheriff McFadden has just finished ordering his own personal Pete Callender dartboard.
[00:15:38] Well, it's possible.
[00:15:43] He continued with his repetitive speech pattern that you've been hearing, right, to drive home the point that he is not at fault for his own actions here.
[00:15:52] You hear this all the time from celebrities and people and everybody else.
[00:15:57] But when you know that you know that you know...
[00:16:02] What?
[00:16:02] You let them know that you know.
[00:16:04] What?
[00:16:06] When you know that you know that you know and you let them know that you know.
[00:16:12] I've actually never heard anybody say that, actually.
[00:16:15] Yeah, there's no famous people or celebrities that say...
[00:16:18] I've not heard that.
[00:16:19] I don't...
[00:16:21] Is he yelling and screaming and talking?
[00:16:23] Yes.
[00:16:23] Is he pushing us?
[00:16:24] Yes.
[00:16:25] Will he push us?
[00:16:26] Yes.
[00:16:27] Will he ask you a question?
[00:16:28] Yes.
[00:16:29] Will it be direct?
[00:16:29] Yes.
[00:16:31] Will you look for a direct answer?
[00:16:32] Yes.
[00:16:35] Are you racist?
[00:16:37] Absolutely not.
[00:16:42] How can I be for something that I live with and I breathe it every day?
[00:16:45] I wouldn't want this on anybody.
[00:16:48] But here's what I ask somebody.
[00:16:50] Would you trade my place now?
[00:16:52] Yes.
[00:16:53] Would you trade my skin for a day?
[00:16:58] Would you trade my skin for a day?
[00:17:02] I think that was a Chris Rock bit.
[00:17:06] Right?
[00:17:06] Didn't he do that?
[00:17:09] He's like...
[00:17:10] He made the joke...
[00:17:11] He was joking in one of his stand-up routines where he was talking about how, you know,
[00:17:15] no white people would want to trade skin with him or trade places with him.
[00:17:18] And I'm rich, is what he said.
[00:17:22] I think that's what he's...
[00:17:23] I think that's what he's working off of.
[00:17:25] He then said that the corrections officers have to show humanity, love, and respect for
[00:17:31] the people housed in the jail, as he calls them, residents of the jail.
[00:17:36] Also, he's kind of like Jesus.
[00:17:40] For the families, I thank you all.
[00:17:42] I thank each and every one of you all for allowing these men and women to take on a mission
[00:17:48] that you have no idea what it's like.
[00:17:51] But for them, this is what they wanted to do.
[00:17:55] And I'm proud of that.
[00:17:57] Let nobody tell you that we're not a great agency.
[00:18:02] And we'll be greater and better moving forward.
[00:18:08] Why?
[00:18:09] Because God sent me here for a reason.
[00:18:12] And if I'm the sacrificial lamb to upset the word racism in America, so be it.
[00:18:18] God gave up his only son.
[00:18:20] And I told somebody that.
[00:18:21] I may be the sacrificial lamb, but when I laid my head down, you know what I want to say?
[00:18:26] I did what I needed to do.
[00:18:28] For those who believe in me and I believe in you.
[00:18:34] Like Jesus.
[00:18:36] Yeah.
[00:18:38] I need to come up with a different...
[00:18:40] I guess I...
[00:18:41] Gary, son of God, McFadden?
[00:18:44] Is that where we're going with this now?
[00:18:45] Like, you're just like Jesus.
[00:18:48] That he has been sent by God to upset the term racist in America.
[00:18:56] Or racism in America.
[00:18:57] He's going to do it.
[00:18:59] With his refusal to work with ICE.
[00:19:03] With his roadblocks and speed traps in rich white neighborhoods.
[00:19:07] He's going to do it.
[00:19:08] Just like Jesus ordained.
[00:19:11] Jeff, welcome to the show.
[00:19:13] Hello, Jeff.
[00:19:15] Hey, how are you today?
[00:19:16] I'm good.
[00:19:16] What's up?
[00:19:18] I just wanted to call and make a comment on the previous caller earlier today who said that...
[00:19:25] I think you brought out the point.
[00:19:27] You needed a governing body, the electorals to remove him from office.
[00:19:32] Unless that happens, the same people who voted him in time and time again are going to still keep voting him in.
[00:19:38] Because they do not care about these issues.
[00:19:41] They care about one thing and one thing only.
[00:19:43] And that's what he looks like.
[00:19:45] They don't care what he does.
[00:19:46] He shows up at their rallies.
[00:19:47] He shows up at their community events.
[00:19:49] Shakes hands with them.
[00:19:51] Serves hot dogs.
[00:19:52] Puts his community engagement out there.
[00:19:54] Serves ice cream to the kids.
[00:19:56] Gives them bikes and candy.
[00:19:57] And that's all they care about.
[00:19:58] They don't care about what's going on inside the walls of the jail.
[00:20:01] Well, so I would submit, though, Jeff, that he had two opponents that ran against him in the primary.
[00:20:08] One of them almost beat him.
[00:20:11] And both of those other opponents are black.
[00:20:15] And so it's not simply because of his race.
[00:20:19] I mean, he has supporters.
[00:20:22] And the things that you mentioned, like the outreach stuff that he does.
[00:20:26] Yeah, I mean, that's what politicians do.
[00:20:29] But I also would like, I mean, he's crossed Vilma Leek.
[00:20:35] She's quoted in one of these articles.
[00:20:37] She's not too happy with him.
[00:20:38] So, like, this idea that they'll just go along with whatever McFadden wants or something.
[00:20:43] Like, there is definitely a schism inside the Democrat Party when it comes to McFadden.
[00:20:51] That's why he's gotten into all...
[00:20:53] Right, yes.
[00:20:53] I mean, he's gotten busted for the, you know, with the reviews, the inspections of the jail.
[00:21:00] And he's, you know, making these claims that people are out to get him.
[00:21:04] He's not talking about Republicans there.
[00:21:06] Because that's the Cooper administration that went in there.
[00:21:09] So, he's not exactly beloved inside Democrat circles.
[00:21:15] So...
[00:21:16] But you've got to understand, I'm not talking about just Democratic circles.
[00:21:19] And believe me, I know all about the jail inspector.
[00:21:22] First hand, trust me.
[00:21:23] But my point is, I'm not talking about the organized Democratic Party itself.
[00:21:28] I'm talking about the people who actually show up and vote.
[00:21:31] Yeah, sure.
[00:21:32] They do not care what he says or does inside those walls.
[00:21:38] They do not.
[00:21:38] It's true.
[00:21:39] They keep voting him in.
[00:21:41] And they're going to continue to vote him in until something even more tragic happens.
[00:21:45] Yeah, they're going to have to get a single, qualified, solid candidate to run against him in the Democrat primary.
[00:21:54] That's where this is going to have to happen if they don't try to oust him beforehand.
[00:21:59] But yeah, Jeff, I appreciate the call, man.
[00:22:00] All right, two more clips.
[00:22:01] These are short ones.
[00:22:02] Well, okay, I lied.
[00:22:03] Never mind.
[00:22:03] They're not really short.
[00:22:04] But they're kind of short.
[00:22:05] All right, so...
[00:22:06] Gary McFadden speaking to new recruits.
[00:22:08] He then goes back to his repetitive speech pattern to explain that he's just loud and direct, but not a racist.
[00:22:19] Am I loud?
[00:22:20] Absolutely.
[00:22:20] Am I direct?
[00:22:21] Absolutely.
[00:22:22] Right, yes.
[00:22:22] Am I hard to work for?
[00:22:23] If you don't work...
[00:22:25] Boom.
[00:22:25] If I'm hard to get along with, when you don't do what I ask you to do, and you follow somebody else's lead, and then you want to try to correct it.
[00:22:33] This is not for the day, but for God be the glory that's on my heart.
[00:22:37] This is the first time I've spoken since the TV and the media and everybody else.
[00:22:41] As they say, check my receipts.
[00:22:43] What?
[00:22:46] And I know that's hard.
[00:22:47] Because even my staff is probably still squirming.
[00:22:49] What are you going to say?
[00:22:51] Is that really weird?
[00:22:51] Because you know what?
[00:22:52] The whispers will go back in the hallway like they always have.
[00:22:55] And they say, trust me.
[00:22:57] That's what you all are going to have to deal with.
[00:22:59] Trust me.
[00:23:00] I'll get an answer for you.
[00:23:02] Trust me.
[00:23:03] Let me help you.
[00:23:04] Trust me.
[00:23:06] I don't know.
[00:23:07] When I read an exit interview, I have to read...
[00:23:09] I don't even know what he's talking about there.
[00:23:11] I admit.
[00:23:12] I have no idea.
[00:23:13] Are those the whisperers?
[00:23:14] Are those like his enemies that are whispering?
[00:23:17] Trust me.
[00:23:18] I don't know.
[00:23:18] Trust me.
[00:23:19] Because he's also...
[00:23:20] He's telling them that too.
[00:23:21] He's saying, trust me.
[00:23:22] He's saying that.
[00:23:23] What is the disappointment?
[00:23:25] The hardest thing I have is to stand here in a few minutes and watch the beautiful star in your eyes.
[00:23:33] And over a period of time, I watched that star dim.
[00:23:38] Why?
[00:23:38] You.
[00:23:39] Because somebody dim your light.
[00:23:40] You.
[00:23:41] You know who they say?
[00:23:42] The sheriff.
[00:23:42] Right.
[00:23:43] Yes.
[00:23:47] But again, I want to thank the family.
[00:23:50] I will love your family.
[00:23:52] Wait, what?
[00:23:53] I will take care of your kids.
[00:23:55] I will take care of your loved ones.
[00:23:58] Trust me on that.
[00:23:59] Hero.
[00:24:00] Trust him.
[00:24:01] Not the media.
[00:24:02] Trust me on that.
[00:24:03] Call me when you need to call somebody.
[00:24:05] And they're going to tell you, you're out of line.
[00:24:08] You're not following the chain of command.
[00:24:11] I follow my heart for the love of man.
[00:24:14] All right.
[00:24:14] Well, cool.
[00:24:15] Why need law?
[00:24:15] We don't need laws.
[00:24:17] Why do we need rules?
[00:24:18] No need for any of that stuff.
[00:24:20] He's just following his love of man.
[00:24:22] Wait.
[00:24:25] Oh, yeah.
[00:24:25] Hang on a second.
[00:24:26] So this is on the audio recording.
[00:24:28] So this is not me.
[00:24:29] This is on their feed.
[00:24:31] I apologize.
[00:24:31] It ends very quickly.
[00:24:32] It's just like a second or two of this scratchiness.
[00:24:34] But you got to listen to what he says here.
[00:24:36] This is the only reason I kept it in.
[00:24:38] I don't have time to be racist.
[00:24:40] Because it's been on my life, the whole life that I've lived.
[00:24:44] And continuous even today.
[00:24:46] So he says, I don't have time to be racist.
[00:24:51] It just takes so much time to be racist nowadays.
[00:24:54] You know what I mean?
[00:24:57] I love my fellow man.
[00:25:00] Because if somebody want to walk to my car and see who my great, great, great grandfather is,
[00:25:07] he doesn't look like me.
[00:25:13] He doesn't.
[00:25:16] See, we don't talk about stuff like that.
[00:25:18] He doesn't.
[00:25:20] Challenge me and I'll show you a picture.
[00:25:21] And I'm proud of it.
[00:25:22] I sent it to all my kids.
[00:25:23] This is why your eyes are blue, baby girl.
[00:25:26] Oh, so he's saying his great, great, great grandfather was white.
[00:25:33] Okay.
[00:25:34] What does that have to do?
[00:25:36] Oh, does that mean you can't be, so you get to say the words to your staff?
[00:25:41] Because, oh, look, my granddad's white.
[00:25:43] I could say cracker.
[00:25:47] I could call myself, oh, my gosh.
[00:25:54] Maybe I am the sacrificial lamb for America.
[00:25:57] So be it.
[00:25:59] For America.
[00:26:01] Not just Mecklenburg.
[00:26:02] He's gone national, people.
[00:26:04] He is the sacrificial lamb for the entire country because he used racial slurs against his employees.
[00:26:14] Gosh, he is such a victim here.
[00:26:16] But I love this agency.
[00:26:18] I love man.
[00:26:20] And I got seven other people to love.
[00:26:23] Ask them in a couple of months who loves them.
[00:26:27] Ask them, do you see racism?
[00:26:29] Ask them, is he crazy?
[00:26:31] Ask them.
[00:26:32] No, he sits down in the lunch and eat with us and act crazy all the time.
[00:26:36] He walked through the hall and people say don't speak to him.
[00:26:43] Pretty tough message coming from a graduation message.
[00:26:47] Inappropriate, you might say.
[00:26:48] Sometimes God's appoint us in places just for a moment.
[00:26:53] Because here's one thing I can tell you.
[00:26:57] I'm all right.
[00:26:58] You're great.
[00:26:59] I'm a product of my ancestors and a dream of my ancestors.
[00:27:04] And I will continue that dream and continue that process.
[00:27:08] Thank you all.
[00:27:09] God bless you.
[00:27:10] All right.
[00:27:10] I think our sheriff's delusional.
[00:27:12] All right.
[00:27:12] That'll do it for this episode.
[00:27:14] Thank you so much for listening.
[00:27:15] I could not do the show without your support and the support of the businesses that advertise
