So very upset today because the the Wisconsin raise for Governor David Crowley beat Francesca Ham and I I already had like so much material and show prep for this woman. Now just like that, it's all gone. I'm gonna get to use it in this segment this hour only, and then it's just it's it's gonna be off the table unless she runs for something else, which I don't think she will, but she might, but I don't think she will. So CBS News reports it as thus moderate democrat David Crowley spoiler alert, he's not a moderate. Like this is. This is one of the things I pointed out. Why the DSA is having success is because they're saying the things that democrats have said themselves, but the DSA will do it. The DSA is like, we're serious, we're going to do it. You guys just give this stuff lip service and then you never deliver. So they have all the energy, so much energy, and they organize and they got you know, rich parents. They don't work, so they can door knock and all of that stuff. And that's the problem for the Democratic quote unquote establishment. So David Crowley will win his party's primary for Wisconsin governor. It's a narrow upset victory over Francesca Hong, a Democratic socialist who was widely viewed as a front runner in the race. Crowley will face GOP representative Tom Tiffany, who sounds rich just the name alone, on the ballot. Crowley overcame significant headwinds, especially after he briefly suspended his campaign last month, but he also had the backing of two term Democratic governor Tony Evers, and Hong had suffered from negative press as old social media posts had come to light. Okay, these are not old social media posts. These are posts from like three years ago. Okay, this is not like people dubbed something from fifteen years ago when she was like a teenager or something. Crowley's win reversed the recent trend of progressive wins. So I guess CBS is interchanging the word progressive with socialists, just so we're clear here. So the thing that we were saying that progressivism is socialism and you were like, no, they're totally different. So now we're just going to interchange the words like okay, I mean fine, welcome to the party, pal. But the race started to take a completely different shape in July when Crowley dropped his bid and threw his support behind Lieutenant Governor Sarah Rodriguez, who was considered more of an establishment candidate. But Rodriguez dropped out days later after discovering her campaign had less money in the bank than previously believed. Whoop, so Crowley, Well, so then there was another lefty that was in there named Barnes, and Barnes dropped out through his support to Hong, and that's when Crowley announced he would return to the campaign trail as a quote centrist Democrat. Crowley said in a debate last month that he initially made the decision to drop out based on data, but quote we were going off of false data, prompting him to return to the race. Hum false data. What would the false data be? Would that be polling data? Because the polling showed Hong up by like fifteen to twenty points and she lost yesterday. So now we have two of these types of polling problems, right, Because you'll recall Michigan Senate candidate Abdul l sayed he was projected to win by like twenty five points over Haley Stevens, and he won by less than one percent, and people were like, whoa, how did the pollsters get this so wrong? And now here we go again. Pollsters got this one so wrong, and they got it so wrong in the same direction. So is something going on in the polling that's somehow over counting DSA support? What's up? What's going on there? And by the way, with all of the movement with Crowley, you know, dropping out and getting back in, Barnes dropping out, Rodriguez dropping out, right, all of this movement over the last like what thirty days or so, there were sixty five thousand votes that went to candidates who had dropped out after voting started. So the early voting period began and then you had Crowley drop out, get back in, Barnes drop out, Rodriguez drop out, and some sixty five thousand votes went to I guess what two of those candidates, sixty five thousand votes. Do you know how many votes separated Crowley and Hong? About three thousand. Sixty five thousand votes is about nine percent of the total. So nine percent of the ballots went to people who had dropped out. So this is an indictment on early voting. Right. If you vote early, there is a chance that the person you're voting for will drop out, and it could actually swing the election. Because you can't tell me here that sixty five thousand votes that were cast for people that aren't on the ballot that that wouldn't have made an impact on the three thousand vote margin. It could. It could have gone too hang, it very well could have. We don't know. Guy Benson from Fox News. He says primary voters in two Upper Midwest states made conspicuously non self destructive choices in goodbernatorial races last night. GOP voters are increasingly willing to ignore Trump endorsements as well, and black voters are doing their best to save the Democrats from the rest of their base. I keep saying this, this is gonna it's things are changing. There is a realignment of the political parties happening. It takes a while, It plays out over several years, multiple multiple election cycles. Candidates matter, right, There's a lot of factors at play, but the parties are realigning. Jim Garritty at National Review says by nominating David Crowley instead of Francesca Hang, Wisconsin Democrats are this morning sighing with relief that they no longer must fear their nominees campaign getting derailed by a bunch of controversial social media posts. I'm just kidding. Crowley's Crowley has a bunch of those two. Yeah, just of a different variety. And you wouldn't know this if you read that CBS story that I quoted from earlier, because they didn't mention any of Crowley's past problems on social media. We talked to Stacy Matthews from Red State a couple weeks ago, so you should know about this. I know about this stuff because he had a Twitter account going back fifteen years where sexist and homophobic things were written about women and the LGBTQ plus two IASL community. Crowley has denied that he wrote the offending posts, and he says that multiple people had access to the account, but like you read the account, it's all written in the first person and the biography was him. So I don't believe that. I don't believe that, like all of the offensive posts were written by somebody else, that he just can't figure out who it was that wrote those posts. Hong's social media posts. Have come to light, where she called for defunding the police, abolishing ice and the US Senate, disparaged that there were too many old white people who didn't think we spoke English at a rural Wisconsin culver's and called to cancel Thanksgiving. Hong walked back the abolition of the Senate and told political last week that Thanksgiving is actually her favorite holiday, So she went from wanting to get rid of it. To now it's her favorite holiday. She wanted to abolish prisons, she wanted the government to take over private companies, and she was the one recall I believe we played this clip where she said that she had problems with her proximity to whiteness. This coming from a woman who had a child with a white man, which is about as proximity as you can get to whiteness without. Being let it's very very close there, lady. All right. May I be so bold as to request a moment of silence for all of the hot takes and all of the easy show prep that I will not get to make now. Thank you for your attention to this matter, Jeff says on the text line, Crowley got new information, like you said, that the election will be fixed for him, and that's why he got back in. So I think there are a lot of different things going on in this Wisconsin race. We're going to get into. Alan says. Over the last couple of weeks, there's been a transition from conflating liberals and progress to interchanging socialists and progressives, also referring to progressives as the far left as. We knew it to be all along. Aren't there USB device issues in the Hong race? Seems like something pretty shady happened. Yes, there is, I will get to that. Jeff with a G says, sixty five thousand hanging chads? Is that what you're? All? Right? So polls showed Hong up by double digits, and then Hong got blown out by Crowley in the early returns from the rural and what they call ex surban areas. So it seems like yet again the DSA candidate was rejected by working class voters. There was a long debate this from Alexander Sure, who covers Wisconsin voting rights for Vote Beat USA or US and previously wrote for the Wisconsin State Journal. So there was a long delay to the Milwaukee upload five of the USB sticks I think there were eleven. I think five out of the eleven were missing results. Election officials had to go back to the absentee facility to get the results again. And this this is not how you inspire confidence in a system, right, when you hand off the little USB thumb drives or whatever. I'm surprised they weren't using floppy discs, but they when they hand them off and you've got basically I think it was like the test run material or something that was on there and not the actual results. Even if it was a simple mistake, even if somebody messed up and they didn't like, you know, import the data over, it just raises all of these questions and suspicions that something hinky was going on. Because in the end, Crowley wins. But again, the polling showed Hong up forty six and Crowley with only eleven. At the time, Barnes was still in the race. He was pulling twenty one. But that's before I was the last poll done and Dan Cannonan, the battleground director for Biden Harris Waltz twenty twenty four, did work with the Obama campaign Hillary Wisconsin Governor Doyle Right. So the guy's this longtime Democrat guy, he says. So this was the last poll that was done in this race, and that was before Francesca Hong went on a media tour exposing her most unelectable quality. That poll was also done before Barnes had dropped out. It was also before ten days of Crowley blitzing the state with Governor Evers. This is another component Evers he barnstormed with Crowley. And notably, Hong did not get endorsements from AOC and Bernie Sanders. Right, Bernie Sanders is passing the torch to AOC and that's what the video. Ben Shapiro talked about this. I agree. This was her announcement. She's running for office for a president. That's what that was about. That's what this is all about. It's why she made the comment about woke one being crazy, Like she's distancing herself from that stuff and positioning herself as a girl boss and she's going to be in charge of everything from when I have kids, I'm doing the n vitro treatments and stuff, whatever, and I just broke up with my four year fiance whatever. She's positioning herself for the presidential run. Okay, So. They don't lend any support to Hong because they don't want any of that on them. That poll also in Wisconsin that was taken before the huge polling miss in Michigan that undercounted rural, older voters as well as black voters as a share of the electorate. Assume Hong has gone down even modestly from the forty six number. Assume Crowley consolidates the Barnes support and is at least into the thirties. Assume even a slight miss in polling for Hong given similar dynamics to Abdul l Sayed support. Assume that now groups come in for Crowley. Having seen that polling miss and he said this was a week ago. He said, I don't think this is locked for Hong by a long shot, and he was exactly right. Shapiro said, we are watching an enormous misread of the results from Wisconsin. The dumb take is that the DSA has reached its ceiling and the establishment is now fighting back. That's totally wrong. The normy Democrats are simply negotiating the terms of their surrender. What does he mean by that? Before I finish this Ben Shapiro commentary, I'll jump over to the phone lines and get. Further proof of what I said earlier. Chris, Hello, Chris, welcome to the show. Mister calendar. How are you. I'm all right, sir, how are you? I'm wonderful wonderful. I love your podcast. Love you should appreciate it, man, But what you're just talking about. I saw it on social media today and I think the the reporter's name was Kornaki or somebody like that. Yes, Steve Kornaki. Yeah, when he just like is in utter disbelief when they report to him that there are five USP drives. And he said the quiet part out loud, there were five sticks missing. Yeah, now let's walk the camp back. Let's go back to twenty twenty. How many sticks were brought in? They had no legitimate votes on them. I don't know, but this is what I mean. It doesn't matter if there is a legitimate reason and they fixed it at whatever, it doesn't matter because the damage is done. What you're undermining. They are undermining confidence in the system by making the mistake in the first place. Because now it's not going to matter what the results are. Somebody's going to say that they're illegitimate, exactly. And when Trump does it, it's one way. When they do it, it's a different way. So before I want to say this for all, let's good, But what you just said is you told me Wisconsin sixty five thousand, early voters were nullified. Well, they voted for a ca ended it who had dropped out of the race by the time election day rolled around. Yep, yep, yep. Well look I appreciate you, yeah man, all right. Yeah, Chris, I appreciate it. Yeah. I mean that like, that is the argument against early voting. Now I can make an argument for it. I know the argument for it, and I do early voting. The argument for it is that you know, it's convenient, and if I'm not going to be able to make it to the polling station on election day, then I can go a week prior or two weeks prior whatever. But that is an argue. In Wisconsin has a long early voting period. The longer that early voting period is. If it's a month and you early voted at the beginning of that month, a lot can happen over the month that may have changed who you would have voted for, or sorry for whom you would have voted. All right, let me go over and get Tim on. Hello. Tim. All I can say is that the Democrat established establishment was going to make sure that she didn't win, and there's nothing she can say about it, or else she'd be supporting the Save Act. Well, so this is what I just said also, is that it doesn't matter what the outcome would be, because had she won, you could say the same thing. You could say that, oh, they rigged it for in her favor. You know what I mean. It's a self fulfilling hypothesis that requires no proof, right. Yeah, but let's be honest. The establishment Democrats did not want her to win because it's just too wacky for America. I mean, get rid of Thanksgiving. I mean, come on, well, I mean the guy el sayed in Michigan the quote establishment didn't want him to win, and he did so, yeah, and he and he was saying how he hated football. Yeah, well, so, I mean, which plays very well in Michigan. I hear Michigan. They don't care about football up. There at all. Yeah, all right, Timy, I appreciate it. Yeah, I mean like this, and this is the problem. The fact that they messed up with the USB drives is all the quote evidence required to prompt all of the theories. And they'll go every way. Hon can say now she was robbed because the outcome went against her. Had she won, then Crowley could have said that it was raged against him. It's just a mess, all right. So Shapiro Ben Shapiro says we're watching a misread of the results and that the dumb take is that the DSA has reached its ceiling. I agree. I don't believe that's correct at all. He says that what's actually happening is that the quote establishment Democrats are simply negotiating the terms of their surrender. Those terms are obvious to him. The Democratic Party will ingest and mirror the key precepts of the DSA, and they won't go whole hog against DSA candidates who don't totally say the quiet part out loud. This is why Slotkin and Peters did not endorse Hailey Stevens against Lsaet and Michigan. It's why Schumer and Jeffries did not endorse Cuomo against Mom Donnie in New York City. Okay, So they're not going to go whole hog against the DSA people, right, And we've heard this as well, Right, we heard it from our friend Mike the Democrat locally. He calls in and like he is, like, oh. It's good to have these discussions about progressive ideas and all of that. So they're not going to go after the DSA as long as you don't put up candidates that say the quiet part out loud, right, you have to be better. You have to lie, call it Takia if you will. You have to lie to win the race. You have to be electable. So you best be scrubbing all of your social media where you're saying how much you hate Thanksgiving and you know abolished borders. You can believe it, You can work towards that, just don't say it, and in return, the DSA's most prominent figures will refrain from endorsing the very worst candidates. I mentioned this earlier Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Acajoquatez, she of the Frozen Eggs, did not endorse Francesca Hang. If they had, maybe she wins. So Shapiro sees this as a pact that has been entered into which may be replicated in other races. Candidates who are DSA in all but name, who receive unified Democratic support after the primaries, and who still have a shot at winning a general election. So do not be fooled. The DSA is driving the car, choosing the direction. The normy Dems are just negotiating over the speed. This is not new, by the way, I will add that's where his post ends. This is not a new concept. Either, goes back one hundred and fifty years or so with the Fabian Society, whose logo literally was. A wolf in sheep's skin. Okay, that was literally the logo that they drew up for their society, which was to enact Marxism, but do it at a very slow pace. It's a gradualism again, right. The thing they share in common is the revolution. So whether you want to overthrow the West and you want to implement sharia, because Elsa Ed says he lives his life by sharia, problem, I think so because it's antithetical to the American system and Western systems. Or if you're COMI right, you too would like to see the overthrow of the American system in Western systems, so that unites them. So all this is just another iteration of the Fabians. From the text line. We have a bunch of comedians here, amateurs, probably because they're not paid to be comedians, but I shall read their jokes anyway. Jeff says after Pete's candidate lost in Wisconsin, he hung his head in sorrow and another Jeff says Pete, she was a Hong shot anyway, long shot. Yes, we have a lot of Jeff with the G says elsaid, lives by Sharia. I've seen videos of him dancing and stuff. Isn't music dancing forbidden in Sharia? Look, that's just what he told an interviewer for the New York Times that he lives by Sharia. That's what he said. He's got two young daughters. I don't know if he's going to be dressing them in the you know, in the burkas and stuff or whatever they're called. Like, I don't know. That's just what he said. I have a whole file on him that I did not get to. Like I said, I am drowning here in dsa dumbassary. I have so much stuff. I'll do this because I got to get all of the hong material out today. In January of this year, there was a vote up in Wisconsin and Swan Marcus recalled the episode on Twitter. The story starts with a law enforcement intervention against a teacher actively grooming a student of his, but when police arrested him, prosecutors discovered that Wisconsin had no criminal law forbidding grooming behavior by a teacher of a student. The state legislature responded with a bipartisan, comprehensive statutory structure that would allow prosecution for grooming before sexual molestation actually occurred. So they responded a bipartisan bill made it a felony to engage in any course of conduct clearly and obviously intended to seduce or lure a child into engaging in sexual acts or exchanging illicit images. The bill passed ninety three to six and was signed into law by a Democrat, Governor, Francesca Hong. Voted no, voted no. All six votes against that bill came from Democrats. Why while the Wisconsin Examiner did not report on any explanation from any of these six or well for any well five of the six, I'll say, because one, they did get a quote from one not from hung But the response from this other guy named Phelps sounds suspiciously similar to DSA rhetoric about prisons and law enforcement. Quote Phelps told the Examiner in a statement that he voted against the bill because he did not or sorry, it did not seem like a good faith effort to make children safer. He said the behaviors covered in the bill are already illegal. Well, clearly not because they could not prosecute one of these teachers that. Was doing this. Phelps said, quote, creating redundant crimes to advance a political agenda doesn't make anyone safer. It just pads the staff books, locks more people in our failed carceral system, and ignores real solutions like prevention and survivor services. So Phelps didn't want sex predators to enter a failed carceral state at all, because the radical socialists want to return to an anarchist nihilist state of nature where chaos reigns and authoritarians with Marxist orientation can then assume power by force. Right. Correct. This is why I say they are not really anarchists. They are temporary anarchists. They're just LARPing as anarchists. All they want to do is to create the chaotic conditions so people will rise up and support someone who comes along and says I will put the fire out that I just started. Right, So they're not actually anarchists. They don't believe in no government. They believe in government that they control. Here's another interesting question raised by Merrill Matthews at the Hill. The DSA's problem is that their recently adopted political platform is contrary to key provisions of the US Constitution. This means that no committed DSA member can truthfully take the oath of office. They're swearing to support and defend the US Constitution and to bear true faith and allegiance to it. But they don't. If the DSA platform is to be taken seriously, they intend to gut the Constitution and adopt an entirely new and different governing system that neither looks nor functions like the one written in seventeen eighty seven and adopted a year later. Right, politicians have often proposed amendments. That's perfectly appropriate, Right, But the DSA intend to amend the Constitution. They wish to replace it. You've heard, you've heard the planks. Right. They want to end the checks and balances system by getting rid of the President, the Supreme Court, have them be appointed and subject to a single House of Congress. That's not amending the Constitution. That is shredding Articles two and three. Right, how do you swear an oath to uphold this Constitution while wishing to destroy it? All? Right? That'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening.
