Pete starts the show talking about the flooding all over North Carolina from the remains of Tropical Depression Fred as well as the news about the Phizer Vaccine being approved by the FDA. Next, Pete discusses Mecklenburg County's decision to require masks for ALL schools in the county - both public and private. Tim Glance, owner of Old Grouch's Military Surplus in Clyde, NC joins the show to talk about the flooding and the damage left over by Fred. To start the 1pm hour, Tim Moore - NC House Speaker - joins the show to talk about the damage he saw in Haywood County this past weekend from the storm. Dr Greg Lentz of "Hearts With Hands" then joins to talk about the work they are doing to help those affected by Fred's path. Before the end of the hour, Pete took a call from someone who disagreed with him last week over Pete's thoughts on cybersecurity and the caller took several minutes apologizing to Pete for doing the very thing he accused Pete of doing - not listening to the other side. Pete went to the Joe Biden Press Conference to start the 2pm hour and had some fun with the President's words. To finish the 2pm hour, he tried to educate listeners on how to decipher through bias in news headlines and then wrapped the show talking about another study on how masks and plastic dividers in restaurants are not working and how no one is talking about ventilation in trying to better improve a COVID-19 world.
