Pete starts the show reacting to the news of Floyd Ray Roseberry's arrest yesterday for his threat to blow up the Capitol. He pointed out how quickly those in the media attached him to Trump and the right when instead we should have been looking at the state of his mental health including the recent loss of his mom - what Pete called a "triggering event" - as well as his recent change in medication. At 1pm, we expected to go to the Biden press conference on Afghanistan but it went long - over 45 minutes. Pete talked about the scene right now in Kabul at the airport and did give credit to CNN's Clarissa Ward for her courageous coverage of what's going on right now in Afghanistan. Otherwise - we wouldn't have the access. We finally go to the Biden press conference right before 2pm. Pete reacted to it immediately after and allowed people to react to it as well to wrap the show.
