Pete starts the show reacting to Mecklenburg County's Public Health Meeting and played audio throughout the first hour and through the show. At the start of the 1pm hour coming out of the news, Pete joked about the race to identify the political party of the Cleveland County resident who threatened to blow up Capitol Hill today. Later in the 1pm hour, Pete reacted to a Charlotte Observer yesterday and talked about mask mandates and if they work. Pete at the end of the hour asked if you can blame him for not taking the CDC seriously when talking about COVID. In the 2pm hour to finish the show, Pete talked about the role of news in covering COVID and talked about showing care in taking what they say seriously because the majority of their members are from the Left.
