The parties are not the same | Hour 2

This episode is presented by Create A Video – It's fashionable to state that there is no difference between the two major political parties. But it's simply not true. We can be frustrated with lack of results and individual politicians, but there are clearly differences in what the parties do when in power - from immigration to a COVID reckoning.

Sorry from the committee, the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee that voted eight to seven along party lines, to hold the science doctor Anthony Fauci in contempt of Congress. Will it go? Will it pass the full Senate? I think that's unlikely. Can the DOJ investigate? I think it could, Will it I don't know. So that's where we stand. But I still think it's important that they hold him in contempt for what he did by pleading the fifth even though he had a pardon. And we're refusing to talk about and to divulge, to tell everybody like this is how we did the gain of function research stuff, and this is why I lied about it because it's obvious that he did. We have his diary. He lied to the American people, he lied to media, he lied to the administration. He had people telling him one thing in private, and then he would go out and say the opposite. So I think that's all very clear. All right, I'll get to some of the text messages from you guys in a minute. Let me first get Dave on. He called it at the end of the last hour, wanting to talk about this. Hello, Dave, Welcome to the show. Hey Pete, Hello. The word reckoning was what spurred me to call from whoever said that earlier, but just listening. You know Trump's speech from a few weeks ago when he was talking about the Chinese, you know, influencing the election, and you know, I thought that was kind of a bombshell. The whole time he has given that speech, I'm I'm in my head, I'm saying, well, if these guys are so devious even back then leading up to the election, why why is nobody still not talking about that? Why is this not even totally included in this whole conversation? So what about the Chinese role? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean, obviously the gain of it was in China China virus, right, Yeah, yeah, I mean, I mean it's all integrally related, and nobody. Seems I don't know, nobody seems to be I don't know, making that connection. So there needs to be a reckoning, and maybe maybe the reckoning suggests active war. You know, that's obviously an act of war. I would say if if really China had direct knowledge and release that stuff directly, you. Know that, I mean, right, if it was an intentional release. I've not seen any evidence that says that that's the. Case, but I mean, come on, I mean, if all, if they were doing all that devious stuff, which I don't know is. True or not, right, but why release it in your own home country then and then deny that you were, that you were doing. It and my ability? I mean, they don't care about their people. Yeah, but it just doesn't seem that like if you I mean, it's if you're going to do something like that, why not make it a much more deadly virus and release it at the target well rather than among your own people. Because they did because all they wanted to affect was his re election. So yeah, I mean I think that's a stretch as far as a reckoning goes stretch, Yeah, I mean as far as as far as a reckoning goes with China. I mean, I agree, But I also wonder if some of the stuff that we have seen out of the Trump administration against China may be part of that, because, like you said, I mean, what are you talking about going to war with them over this? So that would not be that would not be ideal, right. But it's all a legit question though, Yeah. Yeah. So what I'm saying, though, is that if you are going to try to, you know, exact some sort of revenge against China for at the very least, you know, doing the gain of function research at the Lab and then allowing it to break containment and then lying about it. Right, So you want to hold them accountable in some way. Maybe I don't know, you break up their Belt and Road initiative that runs through Iran. Maybe you cut off all their oil from Venezuela. Sure, maybe you slap a bunch of tariffs on. Them, Yeah, exactly. Yeah. So yeah, Dave, I appreciate the call. All right, see you, I have a good weekend. Yeah. Look, I've seen people also say, well what about you know, slapping them with massive fines going through like the the UN, the World Health Organization or something like that. Sure, I mean I don't know those processes. I don't know that you would get a lot of traction. Is the juice worth the squeeze on that? Because you're gonna go up against them in the Chinese have a you know, they've got a seat on the UN Security Council, So if you try to do anything against them, they're just gonna say no, Russia is going to have their back. So yeah, maybe you do other things, and maybe we have seen some of those other things and we just don't connect them because they're not overtly anti China. You know, John from Indian Land talking about the perjury traps, so you mean like what they did, what they actually did to General Mike Flynn. That's a great point too, right. The DOJ is perfectly willing and able to operate in a fashion to perjury trap people or get them on, you know, making false statements to investigators and stuff. They know how to do that. They did it to Mike Flynn. So yeah, if they want to go after Fauci for contempt of Congress, because that's I mean that's all that this would be is contempt of Congress. And as I mentioned in the last hour, it's one hundred thousand dollars fine and up to a year in prison, which I don't think he would get. He's eighty five years old, so it would just be a fine, but it would be a stain on his legacy, on his record, as I think he's already suffered great reputational harm for all. You know, for a guy that was so interested in how he was perceived and all of the rock star status that he had achieved during the pandemic, as he wrote himself in his diary, right like that kind of narcissist, You know that this stuff just eats him up. Maybe that's why he looked so sad in that photograph that was taken. Those talking about a reckoning, this is from John. Those talking about a reckoning against China better be careful. It sounds like the US is knee deep in the creation of COVID. How many countries are looking to come after us. And that's a good point too, because we were funding it. We funded that even though they weren't supposed to be right. That came out in the hearing where they were taking, you know, grant money and washing it through Eco Health Alliance for one right, and then Ego Health Alliance would fund the Wuhan the with John from Jersey says, I'm just tired of hearing speeches and no legal repercussions for the most deserving. Well, and that's John. I would say, that's what this is. This is a legal repercussion. Will it amount, I mean, will they be successful? I don't know, kind of don't think so. But like I said, the pound of flesh to me is worth it. Take away Fauci's pension and taxpayer security detail let the chips fall where they may, says seven oh four number. Yeah, you could go after his pension. Remember North Carolina, we got that law passed a couple of years ago. Dal Folwell was pushing for that where if you are a public sector employee with a pension and you embezzle, then you lose your pension. Dana's back saying, why would you ask a man questions like that unless knowing how he was going to answer. So indeed, it was a form of entrapment. Why would you ad you mean like the color of his tie? They haolly asked about the color of the tie in order to prove that Fauci was just answering all of the questions the same way rather than out of some genuine fear. Because there's no reason why you couldn't answer that question. Sean says, Fauci has to be punished in some public manner, if not jail time, then large finds otherwise it'll just continue to erode the people's trust in our justice system. Just another government bureaucrat getting away with crimes and nothing done about it. Also, the people in North Carolina who are involved in the Gain of Function research, well, yeah, Ran Paul's already talking about wanting to bring in Bill Gates. What was his role in this? What did he fund? And by the way, note Democrats have refused to participate in any of this investigation going back years. So again I highlight this story as another example of the parties are not the same. All right. For over a year now you've heard me talking about Create a Video. From a from an email, John says, have you seen the photo of missus Fauci flipping off a photographer? That's the look of a spouse who was already at her limit. From hearing Tony going on about his correspondence with Julia Roberts, I'd say, yeah, she's probably at her wits end with all of this stuff. Yeah, I feel bad for her. Let me see here, Okay, back to the text line, I shall go. There has never been a narcissist that cares anything about being held accountable, says Dean. No, it's not being held accountable. It's the reputational harm that hurts them. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Nothing would ever get done with rational and reasonable people in charge. We would all be paralyzed in trying to do what's best. I have no idea what that means, Dean, Ude. I keep hearing that Fauci should get a fine, maybe he should go to prison for a year. Really, this guy is potentially responsible for literally killing millions. He ranks right up there with Hitler. He should be lined up against the wall and shot many times, and that would be a gift when what he deserves is to be stacked down in a desert. Honey, poor, oh I don't even know. Let answer. Okay and sit on the devil of attorney. Okay, so you really eight oh three number really really doesn't like Fauci. Maybe he should just be injected with a booster shot every hour until he exploited. Okay, So now look, dude, you're or lady. You are now crossing into death fetish fantasy stuff. Okay. They by the way, do you know why we take oaths of office in America? And why initially, like they didn't want atheists to be in elected office because the founders knew, they talked about this, they knew that you would never be able to prevent bad people from acting in a corrupt fashion in government. Right, That's why they set the system up the way they set it up. And so the whole point was that we know we're not going to catch everybody, We're not going to be able to, you know, punish everybody that does wrongdoing. But the idea was you will face retribution in death, So like you believe in the life or life after death, then you are going to be punished for those crimes because you swore an oath. Joey from Ashville says, whether or not the GOP can excite a voter outright, there are clear differences, clearly delineated between the Democrat Party and all other parties, unaffiliated, independent, you name it on deck for Democrats is how they use eminent domain to revoke property rights to save democracy with equity. Yeah, so again, the two parties are not the same. We can be frustrated at a lack of results, lack of punishment, legislation that doesn't pass or does pass whatever, like because I talk about this stuff too obviously, right, We talk about ways that the Republican Party falls short all the time. So this is not an excuse for the Republican Party. What I am only pointing out and pushing back on is this idea that there is no difference between the two parties. The rise of the DSA should put that myth to bed. The nice Marie says, Roy Cooper gave Ralph Barrick an award during COVID. I would love Cooper to take some heat over Barrick and Fauci. Yeah again, like Michael Wattley could be doing something about that. His campaign could be making Hey, while the sun is shining on that. John says that picture of Fauci and his wife, I am a little surprised that how exposed they are. He better be thankful that conservatives are not violent like leftists. Seven four number? Which is this? The and the Fauci stuff is silly. It's a waste of money and a waste of time. The dead people are dead. I can never bring them back. I lost my mother due to COVID. This is all silly. We have much more serious issues that are felling in the White House. Is not going to solve, like lower food prices. Here we go. We got a black pillar, lower gas prices, lower living expenses, and they're talking about something from COVID years ago. This is all terrible. Do why do you think things are expensive right now? Seven zero four anonymous number? Why do you think things are expensive right now? COVID the massive stimulus checks and the COVID checks, and the massive spending the entitlements right the sectors that are driving the unaffordability crisis. Are the sectors that are more infused with government regulation. You're talking about housing, healthcare, right, these are the things that government is entrenched in, and those are the things that are most expensive education, right, These are the drivers of the unaffordability issues. The answer is not more government. You don't want a present now, Like the tariffs, you could roll back the tariffs, Like some of that stuff was stupid. I was saying it at the time, but I said, we'll see. Like I just I was always under the impression that tariffs are taxes, and I was assured, no, they're not. This is going to be useful and this is how it's going to work, and all of that we'll see so far, not really seeing the results of the tariffs helping. But maybe I'm wrong on that. So yeah, there are things they could do. They could roll back the tariffs that might help immediately. Sure, this is all terrible again, the antidote to black pilling is gratitude, Like we are living better now than any human beings that have ever lived. Back over on the text line, Beth's favorite Russ says in my naively just dreams, Fauci would have his government pension, all his R and D royalties and any other future income streams garnished to offset the cost of all the investigations because he just refuses to tell the truth or give any straight answers. Bain says, relative to a China reckoning, have them cancel our six hundred and ninety billion dollar debt. Well again, as I think it was John pointed out earlier. You know, our hands are not clean in this either, because the money and the you know, the knowledge and the research and stuff that flowed through our system too. Patrick, those of us that support the truth are allergic to stupidity, Yet those that support stupidity are allergic to the truth. Jeff with a G says the primary purpose of all the COVID shutdowns was to wreck Trump's economy and tinker with the election laws to keep him from getting re elected. Mission accomplished, but they couldn't keep him from running again, not for lack of trying, though Yeah, no, I have heard that theory as well. Cohen says, sadly, for all of us that know, doctor Fauci will not be prosecuted until he dies and meets Satan, who's drooling and waiting to open the gates of the hell for his arrival. Harry says, according to Google, seven million people died in the plague. Why would in Congress want to know? Yeah, yeah, that's the thing. Like, I don't understand. I don't understand really why Democrats are like dying on this hill for Fauci. You know, Ian says, Fauci is the quintessential example of everything wrong with Woodrow Wilson's government by unelected a head bureaucrats. Yeah, the technocratic class. Woodrow Wilson worst president ever. Steven loved the Forrest Gump reference. Thank you Steven for catching that. Yankee. Steve says, I think it's absolutely insane that this is a part is an issue. I can't believe the other side of the aisle doesn't want to find out the true origins of the pandemic and hold people accountable. Right, Yeah, it's just Trump, you know. Oh, here's Kevin the fake Republican. He says, I am a doctor Fauci supporter, And even though I thought this was a perjury trap, I do hope that he is made to testify, because if he has to testify after receiving a presidential pardon, that also means that all of Trump's people who were pardoned and who will be pardoned, including his sons, will also have to testify when the Democrats take control of the House. I am sure these idiots haven't thought this far ahead. No, I have a consistent standard. If you have a pardon and you get called to testify about the stuff that you were pardoned for, you should testify. You should tell the truth because you are protected because of the pardon. And I don't care if it's Trump, I don't care. If it's his kids, I don't It doesn't matter to me. That's the consistent standard. What I would like to ask doctor Fauci, is were you responsible for telling Trump that the solution for COVID was to have the American people to drink bleach and shine lights up their butts. So this is the This is how I know you're not a Republican, Kevin, because only lefties believe believe that you probably also believe in the good people on both sides lie from Walt. When you accept a pardon, aren't you admitting I am guilty of something and need the pardon. So you have basically just admitted guilt. So why take the fifth another this is uh. Kevin says Fauci being held in contempt is the lesser. I already read that one. I think Hank says, can the ranking member exercise his fifth Amendment right and just shut up? Yeah? That was Gary Peters. Ram Paul lost his patients with Senator Peters during the here or during the committee meeting yesterday because the guy was just going on and on and on, just dragging it out. It's like, dude, you're not going to win any of these motions. While Fauci may have been granted immunity in the US, that protection would not necessarily extend to other countries. I do not believe it would prevent foreign governments from investigating or pursuing legal action against him if they believed there were grounds to do so. Citizens in many countries endured extremely restrictive lockdown, Some faced fines or jail time for violating pandemic related rules. In my view, Fauci's recommendations and influence on global public health policy deserves scrutiny regarding the role they may have played in those outcomes. That's a fair point too. Maybe they're worried about international prosecution or something. Shane says, is with this gain of function research, why would you want to make something more deadly? I mean, I am the epitome of hold my beer watch this, but even I know my limits. Mark says, just an engineer, not a lawyer, but I play one. I have yet to hear anybody bring up a possible argument of why he pleaded the fifth even though he had the pardon, because if he actually told the truth, it would give information for the various states to prosecute him with which I think three are coming after him. Now that's correct. Yeah, we covered that in the last hour. The Democrat Party is the Communist Party of America. Oh that's a link, oh to something in the American thinker. I mean, I've kind of been saying that warning against that. Fauci should be exposed to punitive damages from every single person that lost a loved one or business because of him, says Ed seven O four says, our tariffs are going to replace income tax. You just can't switch from one to the other. It takes time. Remember Trump is trying to get rid of the irs. We'll see whatever will the planet worshippers do about all those plastic ducks in Chicago? They take them out of the water. Bain says, wouldn't be hilarious if Fauci said I don't like this any I don't like this anymore than you. Yes, Patrick, I did laugh at your comment. The elected Democrats don't want people questioning experts and politicians. If you don't trust the legacy media, government and higher ed you won't keep voting Democrats, says Gary. All right, So another example I will bring to you in mere moments of why the parties are not the same. Something that Donald Trump did yesterday regarding immigration. Another example of how the parties are not the same. Immigration. Okay, again, this is not a defense of every single Republican or a politician, or every administration past or current. Right. This is not to say that Republicans don't mess up the immigration issue. However, I will point out Republicans are better on immigration than Democrats are. And if the last six years hasn't proven that to you, I'm not sure what other evidence you might need. We had four years of a border wide open and we've now cut illegal immigration down to basically zero, and we're doing deportations, right, So there is a difference. And yesterday President Trump's signed two executive orders seeking to narrow birthright citizenship in several circumstances and intensify the federal crackdown on commercial birth tourism. This is Trump's second attempt to curb birthright citizenship in the US, and I'm sure it's going to get challenged in court, right because the US Supreme Court back in June shot down a broader executive order that Trump had signed on inauguration Day to deny automatic citizenship to those born of non citizens in the US. But remember when we read through that opinion, particularly the descent or yeah, the descent by Brett Kavanaugh, he pointed out that the administration still had another pathway to do this, and this is now being seen as Trump using that pathway, so Axios' mar Caputo or Capito reports, Trump's administration argues that the ruling still grants him the authority to limit birthright citizenship under long standing exceptions that have been recognized by the court. The executive orders apply only to future births tied to four categories. Number one, children born of foreign diplomatic staff working on behalf of another government. While in America, the Fourteenth Amendment does not confer automatic citizenship to ambassador's families, and this order would expand that category to other non citizen employees in those embassies. Right, children of people who are classified as alien enemies, including those who belong to federally declared terrorist groups. The fourteenth Amendment does not apply to invading armies, and this designation would expand that category. Number Three, those born in US territories, but only if Congress changes the law to end automatic citizenship there. There is a bill seeking to do that, which was introduced last month, but we don't know if it's probably not going to pass. But this would apply most notably to those in Puerto Rico. And the fourth category children born of mothers who expressly and deceptively enter the US for the sole purpose of having a child. Here this is the birth tourism issue. The order seeks to limit the use of surrogate mothers for this purpose as well. The Administration argues that creating this birth tourism exception is allowed because of parents fraudulent misrepresentation in gaining access to the US. Right. They say they're coming as a tourist or a worker, but they're actually coming to go to the birth tourism center. Right. The government can revoke the citizenship of those naturalized by fraud. The new order says this exception now applies to a mother if she deceptively engages in the commercial practice of birth tourism. That's the first executive order. The second executive order directs the Secretary of State and the Department of Homeland Security Secretary to issue rules and guidance to stop birth tourism and target the industry at home and abroad. US law already bans getting a tourist visa for the primary purpose of obtaining US citizenship for a child by giving birth in the US. This is already against the law. You're already not allowed to do that. You could not apply for a visa to come here to have a child. But if you lie and have the child, that can also mean that you don't get the naturalized or you don't get the birthright citizenship for the kid. So parallel to this, oh, also, immigration officials can deny a pregnant foreign national from entering the US if they determine she's entering the country for the purpose of giving birth, so they are allowed to screen for this already on the books. The House Oversight Committee is investigating birth tourism centers, and back in May, the committee requested a ton of documents from a company, and I kind of feel like they're giving away the game a little bit when they named their company. It's not quite the Leering Center. But here's the name of this company, have my Baby in Miami. That is the name of the company being investigated for birth tourism violations. I don't know. It's never the ones you most suspect, you know, all right, that'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening. I could not do the show without your support and the support of the businesses that advertise on the podcast, so if you'd like, please support them too and tell them you heard it here.
