Los Angeles police swiftly enforced a downtown curfew. What how why, making arrests moments after the curfew took effect, while deploying officers on horseback and using crowd control projectiles to break up a group of hundreds demonstrating against President Donald Trump's immigration correct down. This is according to the Associated Press. Hours later, many of the protesters had dispersed, although sporadic confrontations continued that were much smaller than in previous nights. Hmm, you can't see it, but I'm stroking my goatee right now. Hm. Hm. Are we saying that maybe a large law enforcement presence and a curfew might actually disperse crowds and lead to smaller groups that take to the streets. There may be a lesson here. People. Officials said the curfew was necessary to stop vandalism and theft by agitators looking to cause trouble. Wait, you're telling me that looting the Adidas shop is not helping the immigrants. How's that possible. I'm so confused. The demonstrations have been mostly concentrated. So again, remember this is the common theme. This is the narrative you will hear and have been hearing. And I keep pointing this out every time I encounter it, which is Los Angeles is really big, y'all. And you know these protests, these demonstrations, fiery but mostly peaceful that they are. They're only occurring in these very very very tiny tenC weency little places, like most people don't even see this stuff. They keep hammering this narrative, and the Associated Press does so as well, with a full paragraph telling us the square mileage of the downtown area. The demonstrations have been mostly concentrated downtown, and the curfew covers a one square mile section. That's it. So outside outside of the one square mile, no curfew, just right here. They have occurred since the area includes where the protests have occurred since Friday in the sprawling city of four million. The city of Los Angeles encompasses roughly five hundred square miles. Once again, everybody, Los Angeles is big. It is so big. Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom accused Donald Trump of drawing a military dragnet across the nation's second largest city. That's absolutely not true, with his escalating use of the National Guard, which again is there to protect the federal law enforcement officers. That's why the National Guard is there because Democrats. This is a question, why do Democrats in these cities? And I will say, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, although I don't think they deserve it, But why do they have a perception or a belief that these riots should not be put down immediately? Why do they allow this to occur? They obviously feel like that there is some incentive, right, so there is some perception of an incentive. I don't know if it's a real incentive. I don't know if it's true, but they definitely have some belief that this is to their benefit, that the governor of the state, the mayor of the city, whatever. There is some perceived benefit for allowing this stuff to occur. And if I'm going to kind of walk through some of the angles on it, I'm going to think, Okay, well, maybe they have the perception that this kind of chaos hurts Donald Trump, that can somehow use this against Donald Trump. And we're seeing some of that, So that would be evidence that that may be the case. That you have the ICE raids and investigating. By the way, the ICE raid that started all of this actually wasn't even a it wasn't a workforce compliance raid or something like that. An it was a criminal investigation into money laundering tariff evasion. They picked up a bunch of people with like murder wraps and stuff and connections with the cartels, and this is what prompted people to take to the streets and to try to block ICE agents from removing these criminals. So that's what prompts it. Then, of course, the reaction you know in Olenski Rules for radicals saw Alensky's Rules for radicals, you know, the action is your opponent's reaction. So you you take to the streets, you get them to attack you or something, and then you use that to claim victimhood, and that delegitimizes their actions. So make that the the inflammatory actions. Right. This is why Trump is inflaming the situation even further because first it was the Ice raid, and it was the calling in the National Guard. So they obviously perceive a benefit to letting their cities burn and letting their businesses be looted. Right, they perceive a benefit to themselves politically. And I can't help but notice the irony. You know, the people who join the National Guard. I'm just going to go out on a lim and say most of them are not leftists, right, They're probably usually on the right, just politically speaking, if they're political at all. A lot of people in the National Guard sign up to serve their country, right, They love America, they're patriots. So you've got Democrat leaders that allow leftists to burn their cities down and then rely on conservatives to come in and quell the violence. And at some point one has to wonder, why are we doing this anymore? Just let the city burn? No, PDE you can't say that. Well, I mean, if they don't care enough about their city to save it, then why should we import people to help them save it. Governor Newsom asked a court to put an emergency stop to the military helping federal immigration agents, with some National guardsmen now standing in protection around agents as they carry out arrests. Newsom said it would only heighten tensions and promote civil unrest. See enforcing law promotes civil unrest. That's their argument. That's what I mean. If you take the personalities out of it and just listen to the ideas being formulated and promoted. The idea here is that enforcing law law promotes civil unrest, and that is a recipe for self immolation, self destruction, then there's no point in having any law zero. Well okay, yes, unless right J six unless you need to use them against use the laws against the J sixers, right, okay. So they want a separate set of laws for themselves. They want to be able to break whatever laws they want without ramification, and then they want to hold you to laws if you do something they don't like. Trump has activated more than four thousand National Guard members seven hundred marines over the objections of city and state leaders. They were originally deployed to protect federal buildings. I would also add to that associated press line there that also agents, you know, the people it's not just the buildings, it's also the people. Demonstrations have spread to other cities nationwide, including Dallas and Austin, Texas, Chicago, New York, but the Los Angeles Mayor Karen dumb Bass declared a local emergency on the fifth day of protests and said the curfew is going to run eight pm last night until six am this morning, and it's going to last for several days. She said we reached a tipping point after twenty three businesses were looted. She said that yesterday. The curfew does not apply to residents who live in the designated area. People who are homeless, of course, not credential because the rules don't apply to them either. They can crap on the sidewalks. Credential, media and public safety and emergency officials, they're all exempt. Trump left open the possibility of invoking the Insurrection Act, which authorizes the president to deploy military forces inside the US to suppress rebellion or domestic violence or here's the key to enforce the law in certain situation. It's one of the most extreme emergency powers available to a president. Yes, and it's meant for circumstances like this, because what we're seeing is extreme behavior, all right. If you're listening to this show, you know I try to keep up with all sorts of current events, and I know you do too, And you've probably heard me say get your news from multiple sources. I wonder how much it'll cost to get one of those airplanes towing the banners like you see at the beach to make several laps around this whole the No King protest folks with a make America Great banner. I don't know what those things cost, but that's a pretty good idea. I would submit. The escalation towards violence in these protests is actually coming from Democrats and the left. I think it's pretty clear it's not the ICE operations that do. That's just simply law enforcement. Now, you can oppose the law, but when you take to the streets and then start pelting law enforcement officers, you're the ones in the wrong. You're not the one influencing. The ICE is not the one inflaming any situation. They're doing their jobs enforcing the law. You throwing the bricks and such, you're inflaming the situation that then prompts a response from law enforcement. The response is to get you to stop behaving in a violent way. And Democrats leadership like Gavin Newsom who said Trump's actions are the start of an assault on democrasee and then I got this, this is forwarded to me. I can't tell who forwarded it to me, but this is from the Democrats dot com. Activist at democrats dot com, Hi friend. Trump's imposition of fascism on America began on June eighth, when he ordered California's National Guard to suppress peaceful protests. Again, that is not true. The National Guard was not brought in to suppress peaceful protest. The National Guard was brought in to protect law enforcement officers who had been attacked and federal facilities, and to guard those facilities that had been attacked. But they just lie. The Democrat Party is simply lying to their people, lying to their activists, lying to their voters. Why in an attempt to gin up anger, Why they think it's their pathway to power. It's actually, as I was watching Mark Halperin's podcast, I think it's called I think it's called two way. It's TDS. Just like caller Tony exhibited, it's Trump derangement syndrome. This man ran on a platform of immigration enforcement and he won. He won bigley, so this should not be a surprise. And he is within his rights. He is within the law to do this thing. You are not within your rights or the law to attack law enforcement officers. That's illegal, and that means you will be met with overwhelming force because that's what the government has the monopoly on, right. So why would you encourage your people, if you're Democrat leaders, why would you encourage your people to go out and do this TDS Yeah, or they think that there's some political benefit that they derive. And when you write this kind of a fundraising message and a link to join a protest near you so you can get these huge numbers, that's what this is about. They're calling the Ice raids cruel. Again. They targeted a money wandering operation with connections to the cartels and Mexico. Trump then escalated his fascist assault by ordering seven hundred marines to help suppress the peaceful protests without invoking the Insurrection Act, in violation of Posse Coomitatus Act, which prohibits military deployments against civilians in the US. Again, they were sent to protect the facilities and the agents. And now they're talking also will impeach him again, But we can't until we take back the house. So send us money and find a protest site near you. That's the Democrats incentive is to keep their base so angry, and you know what, if we have to have some violence, then so be it. Brooke Taylor, who is a let me see here, she is a Fox News national correspondent based in Dallas. She reports on Twitter Ice sources confirm with me that Homeland Security Special response teams will be deployed to Blue cities ahead of anticipated protests happening this weekend. These riots are not going to deterrists. One source involved in planning says, quote, we are here doubling down, and enforcement operations are going to happen. If anything, we will be arresting more illegal aliens in these locations. The wall just got ten feet taller. I mentioned this the other day, this escalation between the Feds and the States. This is a nullification fight. The states, run by Democrats are trying to nullify federal law, in this case, immigration law. This was predicted in the Fourth Turning. The author, the surviving author of the two has said, we are in the fourth turning, the crisis phase, the winter. It's like four seasons. They last about twenty years and you end up in crisis. And every time we have hit this fourth turning in American history, we have war. It's about it every eighty years, and you have different generational mindsets that grow up in these different time periods. You're you know, spring, summer, fall, winter. And I'm not going to go into all of the details, but one of the things that the author predicted, and he made a whole bunch of predictions, and like all of them came true basically except this one last one, which is that it would be a nullification crisis that occurs, and he predicted it would be around the issue of immigration. And he thought years ago that it was going to be a state like Texas trying to nullify federal authority over immigration because the Feds are not enforcing the law. And so Texas tried to enforce immigration law and tried to secure their border, and Biden ensued them saying, you can't do it. That's our job, which we are refusing to do. Also, that did not prompt a nullification crisis. This this is a nullification crisis. This is blue state Democrat governors and mayors attempting to nullify federal law and using their ground troops, their shock troops on the streets to stop enforcement of federal law to nullify it, not through the courts. And not through legislative action, but through violence. And the last time democrats were so keen to maintain an indentured servant class, we had the Civil War. So take of that what you will, all right. So spring is here a time of renewal and celebrations. You've got graduations, weddings, anniversaries and the special days for mom and dad. All right, I mentioned some of this yesterday the SEIU California president, David Horta, that's the guy who got arrested for interfering with the ICE operations. RedState dot COM's Jennifer Van Laher again, I went over this in depth yesterday. I'm just mentioning it because there's been a development. She wrote about the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights or c h I r L A turla Okay. And so they are one of the two NGOs along with the Party for Socialism and Liberation, that have been implicated in the in the ongoing riots. And so now Senator Josh Hawley, who is the chair of the Senate Subcommittee on Crime and counter Terrorism, has drafted a letter saying, due to regarding your organization's alleged role in financing and materially supporting the coordinated protests and riots that have engulfed Los Angeles in recent weeks, peaceful protest is fine, blah blah blah, but they have instructed federal law enforcement and dangered public safety. Disrupted the rule of law. This lawlessness is unacceptable. It must end. Credible reporting suggest your organization has provided logistical support and financial resources to individuals engaged in these disruptive actions, and then he goes on to give them a cease and desist and demand for records from November fifth, twenty twenty four, all the way through the present all internal communications regarding funding coordination, and it's just a whole list of things donor lists included, and if they fail to comply, additional action by the subcommittee, including potential referral for criminal investigation. So that letter went out, believe today, yes today. Now I mentioned also Mexico. This is from John Daniel Davidson at the Federalist dot com. Various leftist groups are that are in all likelihood funding and organizing these riots, similar to how BLM organized in the summer of twenty twenty in the hopes they'll spread to every major city. But there's another political player in this drama that's gotten much less attention. That is the Mexican government's ruling Morena Party under the leadership of President Claudia Schinbaum. The first thing to understand about Morena, the party and the Mexican political establishment is that it is essentially a criminal enterprise that has, over the past decade merged with the country's major cartels. Mexico essentially lost the drug war that began in two thousand and six, and since at least twenty thirteen, the state has been so thoroughly infiltrated by the cartels, particularly the Sinaloa, that today it's difficult to tell where one stops and the other begins. The cartels, of course, are not just drug trafficking organizations any longer. During the Biden administration, they figured out how to monetize illegal immigration, which became a major source of income for their organizations and networks. Those networks now include elements of the Guadia Nacional and the Instituto Nacional de Mergracion, the country's federal immigration authority, both of which were key players in the cartel's migrant trafficking operations. All of that is by way of brief background. On Sunday afternoon, responding to the riots over the weekend, Shinbaum and Mexican nationals living in the US or She said that Mexican nationals living here are heroes and denounced Trump's attempts to enforce federal immigration law. Quote. We disagree with this approach to the migration phenomenon, is what she called it during a press conference. It is not about raids or violence, but rather working on a comprehensive reform that takes into account the Mexicans on the other side of the border. That is our position. Always call for peace, to not exacerbate any form of violent protest. She said. Mexican nationals in the US are not criminals, but good, honest men and women who left to seek a better life for themselves and to support their families. Yeah, it doesn't matter. They're your people. They're coming home. The President of Mexico has basically sided with the rioters waving Mexican flags over and against federal authorities attempting to enforce US immigration law on American soil. And the irony here is that Mexico does not allow foreign nationals to engage in any political activities in Mexico, including protests. Just last month, she threatened to mobilize protests in America to push back against the tariffs or the taxes. Rather on remittances from the US to Mexico. Why it is a massive amount of money. It is a huge portion of her country's GDP. Now lo and behold, we have protests and riots in Los Angeles over an issue that intersects directly with the interests of Mexico's ruling politico narco class. The New York Times reported in February of twenty four on the very robust connections between Lopez Obrador and that's the former president, between him and the powerful Cineloa drug cartel. And when The New York Times did that story, a group of quote protesters showed up days later outside the offices of the New York Times. The Texas Public Policy Foundation reported the Mexican regime has become increasingly hostile to American sovereignty, repeatedly threatening to interfere in our elections and target American lawmakers for attempting to secure the border and fight the cartels. The Morena government in Mexico seized the presence of large numbers of Mexican nationals living in the U S as a strategic asset that can be, if needed, mobilized to advance its own interests. So the cartel state partnership in Mexico has a vested interest in ensuring that the Trump administration is unable to carry out its plans to secure the border incentives, people look for the incentives. All right, So I went over the nonprofits. We got the NGOs, we got the Mexican government slash cartels, and then we have the union factor as well. National review piece by Will Swam. All social movements require a patron Saint. Californians who support illegal immigration believe they have theirs in David Horta, cident of these States SEIU Union. They arrested him and he has now become their martyr. He's charged with conspiracy to impede an officer, which can carry up to six years in prison, and the SEIU on Twitter then said that Ice picked the wrong side, the wrong state, the wrong person, and the wrong union, and he has declared himself a victim of police violence. Gavin Newsom immediately reposted the SEIU claim, saying Huerta is a respected leader, a patriot and an advocate for working people. He was joined, you know, by Kamala Harris, Karen Bass, all the usual suspects. The LA Times joined in saying Ice arrested a California union leader. Does Trump understand what that means? He got the United farm Workers, Teachers Union, California Federation of Labor, even college Professors, Screen Actors Guild even got in on that. But it was left to The New York Times to note a deeper truth that California's private and public sector unions are losing ground and the LA Riots are a marketing opportunity for them. So once again note the incentives quote. Organized Labour's embrace of immigrants rights is also a numbers game. In California and many other parts of the country, Immigrants, documented and undocumented, dominate the workforce, especially in the service sector, and that's especially true of the SEIU. Since the Supreme Court decision in twenty eighteen this is the union membership decision the Janus case, its revenue has been cut in half. Always an explicit part of the union's business plan, illegal immigrants are now more important than ever. This is existential to the SEIU. They were the first to Crack the Code by the way back in nineteen eighty eight the Justice for Janitor's La campaign, and they refused to distinguish between legal and illegal immigrants. So, as Swain calls it, they've been operating as kind of a human trafficking organization that also functions as a labor union. SCIU recruits, even coerces those illegal immigrants to pay SAIU membership dues in exchange for the promise of higher wages, of course, but also legal protection in the face of immigration enforcement. Pay us will protect you. Does that sound like a model that some other organizations have used. In twenty fifteen, SEIU strategy had become standard operating procedure for the state Democrat Party. The union co hosted townholes with then state Attorney General Kamala Harris and Spanish language broadcaster Univision. When Harris left the US Senate to serve as Joe Biden's Vice president in twenty twenty one, Gavin Newsom appointed Lafonza Butler to replace Harris. She is the SEIU United Long Term Care President. In twenty seventeen, the first year of Trump's first term, SCIU helped write and lobby for passage of the bill that made California a sanctuary state. The SEIU followed that with the passage of AB four fifty, the Immigrant Worker Protection Act, in twenty twenty two. Having failed for decades to organize workers in the fast food industry, the SCIU persuaded state lawmakers and the governor to establish the state's first government run union. They called it the Fast Food Council, comprising SEIU representatives, politically aligned democrats appointed by the governor, two SCIU supported state lawmakers, and a minority block of willing corporate franchisers. The council has absolute power to set industry wages and work rules, including a rule m HM that bars fast food employers from asking about your immigration status. SCIU ran point on organizing the Los Angeles Rapid Response Network that was a coalition of immigrant rights advocates along with religious leaders and union activists working to quote counter the anti immigrant policies of the Trump administration. One member of that coalition runs the phone tree that activists use to report the presence of ICE officials on Friday. Other coalition members set up surveillance teams to monitor federal law enforcement. This is the SEIU California has opened wide the door to illegal immigrants, seducing them with the promise of work for those who wanted, of course, but also public benefits housing and food, is sistance, education, and medical care. In twenty sixteen, SEIU, through its support behind a State Health for All Kids initiative, which extended Medicaid coverage to undocumented children. They then extended that to young adults four years later in twenty twenty. That took it all the way up to twenty six year olds, and then it was further expanded to adults over the age of fifty in twenty twenty two, and then in twenty four Newsom included all illegal aliens and an annual cost of like ten billion dollars. Union dollars are essential to Democrats control of the state, and illegal immigration is central to union growth. David Horta is no saint, but as swam says, he is clearly a marketing and political genius. Cartels, Mexican government, NGOs, Democrats and unions those are the ones funding the riots. Don't take my word for it, look it up yourself, all right. That'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening.
