All righty. I came across.... A pretty, pretty interesting report. It comes from the Honest Elections Project. And so this is, full disclosure, this is a conservative outfit. So we all know what conservatives mean when they say honest elections. They mean things like voter ID. They mean things like clean voter rolls and list maintenance and having ballots in the elections office when the polls close. I mean, suppression like that. Voter intimidation. Jim Crow 2.0. I guess we're, are we at 3.0? Can we, do we ever get to 3.0? I feel like we've done 2.0 several times at this point. You know, I've heard it probably for about 15 years. So I'm thinking we're at 3.0, I think. I'm just thinking from a branding standpoint, it would be helpful. Anyway, the Honest Elections Project, they put out a report, Two Roads Diverge. It's the name of the report. Two Roads Diverge. Subtitle, 2026 shows Republicans secure the vote while Democrats rewrite the rules. Now, I know, I know people on the left are, are Democrat in media, but I repeat myself, our friends in the, on the other side of the aisle, they're, they're going to hear this and they're going to say, Oh, come on. That's just not true. We're not trying to rewrite the rules and all of that. You rewrote the rules. You're rewriting the rules, right? So I understand that, but just think, think about it. Just put yourself in the shoes of the political right or the moderate right or the moderates, okay? Because the things that are detailed in the report are things that most Americans, and that would include moderates, moderate right, and yes, even those far-right conservatives, right? These are things that most Americans agree with, these types of. Rules, right? And And any system, any election system is going to have rules. And those rules will, by definition, restrict. That's kind of what the rules are for, okay? That's why you have, like, when you're playing a board game, let's pick one, let's say, oh, I don't know, Scrabble. We'll say Scrabble. Is that a board game? I think it counts, right? I mean, I know it's on the app now, but it's a board game. And so if you were to have no rules... for Scrabble, no restrictions, then you could just come up with words like Ushnu and Zocuo, right? You could just put those on and get the quadruple letter or, yeah, quadruple scores and whatever. Actually, every tile would have its own score. You could just make up your own scores. I mean, how would you actually even play a game without any rules, right? So any rule is a restriction because it tells you not just what you can do, what is permissible, but it tells you what you cannot do as well. For example, you cannot be an illegal alien and vote in federal elections. That's a rule. That's a restriction. It is, dare I say, a disenfranchisement. You are disenfranchising illegal aliens. You're telling them they can't vote. For a good reason. Just like the Z has what a 10 point score in Scrabble for a reason. It's a pretty tough letter to work into a word. And there's only one of them in the bag, right? So the rules are there for reasons. All rules are restrictions. And we can disagree about what kinds of restrictions we want to see. And your argument on the left, for example, against voter ID. Voter ID is something that about three quarters of Americans support. The only people who really don't support it are people on the left. Not all Democrats. In fact, a lot of Democrats do support it. So you're talking people on the left. And I try to always make this distinction between leftists and Democrats. There are Democrats that are not leftists, although that number is dwindling. And so when you say you're against the voter ID, you always say that it's because Republicans are evil. That the Republicans are trying to keep people from voting. The 172-year-old person who didn't have a birth certificate because they were a freed slave, right? Like these are the examples that we get. it's too hard to get an ID. Our voters are too stupid to get a free ID from the government. And meanwhile, when you go out and talk to people, they ask them, is it difficult to get an ID? And they say, no, it's not. I have one. The number of people who don't have IDs is actually pretty small. So I'm asking you to kind of set aside that knee-jerk reaction that you have whenever you hear about particular rules. Right? That knee-jerk reaction that I'm talking about is the assumption of a nefarious motive. All right? Set that aside. Just think about these in terms of rules. So, from the report, this November... Voters in five states will decide more than who governs for the next two or four years. They will decide what rules will govern the 2028 presidential election. That's what's on the ballot right now. For people who are like, I don't know, I'm just going to sit out because gas prices or whatever. You sitting out empowering a political party that is attempting to rewrite the rules for the 2028 presidential race. That's what's happening. Okay? See, people I know, we are Americans, and so we are impatient. But if you're looking at the long game, what happens on Tuesday is going to have an impact... on the 2028 presidential election. And I'm not talking about the horse race coverage and who's it going to be, who's going to win the nomination. No, no, no, no. These are the rules by which somebody can win. So you've got these five states, Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. These are perennial presidential battlegrounds. They have 61 electoral votes between them. This is the electoral college, okay? 61 electoral votes in those five states. Each of those states have divided government today. In other words, a Republican legislature and a Democrat governor or Democrat legislature, Republican governor, right? Divided government. However, whatever happens on Tuesday or the like 78 days. Afterwards while they're still counting ballots, right? I'm just kidding. That's just California. So these five states, if the Democrats secure a trifecta in those five states, then they could do the same thing that Virginia did. We just saw it this year. We're still seeing it. And it shows what comes next. Within months of taking full control in January, Democrats expanded ranked choice voting. They reinforced a law that allowed mail-in ballots to arrive three days late. They did the unconstitutional gerrymander, pushed that through the legislature, and then got smacked down. And most importantly, they joined the National Popular Vote Scheme, which is an end run around the U.S. Constitution because it essentially renders the Electoral College a moot. That's what I mean when I'm saying they're rewriting the rules. See, this is why I'm so tough on the North Carolina political press when they refuse to ask Roy Cooper questions about these types of issues, instead preferring to, you know, ogle and drool. Over his custom Nikes. Seriously, like, they did that. So this is why I hammer them, because these are the issues that are actually on the ballot that they're not asking about, that voters aren't even aware about. But now you are, so you should tell other people, like, the Electoral College and the Federalist model... That's on the ballot, and Democrats would very much like for that to go away because it is an impediment to them being in power in perpetuity. I'll explain in a moment. All right, so from the Honest Elections Project report, across the country, 2026 state legislative sessions Split along the same lines, Republican states moved to verify voter citizenship, make voter roll cleanups easier and more efficient, eliminate complex schemes like ranked choice voting, and they have strengthened voter ID. Now, North Carolina only gets a mention of one time in this report, mainly because our state has done a lot of this stuff before, 2026. So they were looking at all of the things that the state legislatures have done this year. And North Carolina has implemented a lot of this stuff ahead of time. But just the other day, we talked about the cleaning up of the rolls, the use of the SAVE database, the federal database, in order to find non-citizens that are registered to vote. And then we sent out letters to those people to, like, verify your eligibility. That sort of thing. I know, disenfranchising. But in Democrat-controlled states, they're doing the opposite. They're stripping those things away. They're dismantling those guardrails. They're expanding this out. And in my mind, if I am to assume motive, I have to assume that this is not about making sure that every vote counts because if you're trading off let's say a thousand people who didn't vote because they did not have ID. Meanwhile, you're allowing 10,000 illegal aliens basically to be on the voter rolls. And maybe they're voting too, to some degree, like is the juice worth the squeeze on this? You're not even, well, I mean, you got California out there and boy, are they out there, but they're out there saying like, we're, they're going to court to prevent the, any use of the federal immigration database or to have the feds rather look at their voter rolls and do a comparison. They're trying to block any kind of oversight, any kind of cross-checking of the voter rolls. Why would you do that? Why would you do that? You're afraid that people are going to be, you know, taken off the voter rolls and then, oh, they won't be able to vote. But that's not true. They can't. They can go vote. They can cast a provisional ballot. They're going to be alerted ahead of time also. Right. Just like in North Carolina, the letters went out. They're like, hey, you're listed on the voter rolls, but we're not sure you're eligible. So just go. Can you just confirm your eligibility? And if you cannot, we take you off the list because you should not have been on the list. And as we talked about also earlier this week, I think it was Monday. This all derives from the 1999, I believe it was, the National Voter Registration Act or whatever it was. And it made all of these welfare agencies registration centers. And you've got Democrats that are like, everybody should automatically register, to be automatically registered. You apply for a welfare program, you're automatically registered. There are major problems with that. Because people who go into the office may not actually be eligible for that program because, let's say, they're an illegal alien. They thought they could, but they couldn't. And so the state takes the application and registers them to vote, then denies their application. Meanwhile, on the back end, they never tell the Board of Elections, oh, they're not a citizen. And the Board of Elections isn't checking. So this is why you have the rules. to set up the guardrails to prevent this kind of thing from occurring, then I can start making assumptions about why you would be interested in preserving that broken system. I can start making assumptions about your motives, Democrats. And it's kind of looking like you want there to be more people on the voter rolls, whether they're supposed to be there or not. Otherwise, like I'm struggling to figure out what is the rational explanation for this. Democratic states have been focusing on the opposite of what Republican controlled states have been focused on. Democrat states have been dismantling the safeguards. All right, real quick, every government number gets revised, right? Every projection gets walked back. Gold does not file corrections like GovCo. I think many older Democrats came of age in a different political era when socially moderate or conservative views were more common within the Democratic Party. That is true, Mike. Their political outlook developed in a different era and some of their positions may align more closely with today's conservatives than today's progressives. Yet many continue voting along party lines even as the party's values and priorities have shifted. Yeah, I've talked about this over the past few years. Dennis Prager, I thought, summed this up accurately. Conservatives vote their values. Progressives vote their values. Democrats do not. They will vote for progressive candidates. because they don't want to admit that they actually agree with conservatives more often than they want to admit. And so they don't, they, it's like, they just, they don't want to be associated with those icky people over there. I'm not like them. And so I will vote for these far left more and more and more progressive candidates. I will keep going down that path. They do not vote their values. They live more like conservatives than progressives. but they parrot progressive ideology. Um, Seth says, yeah, people, uh, Pete, some people really like 50 years of Roe V. Wade. Yeah. Uh-huh. Um, 704 number says our country's forefathers may not have been shooting yet, but I think they would be cleaning their guns and packing powder about now. Very dangerous ideology and obvious threats to a Patriot. Um, Yeah, so I mentioned the Electoral College because this report from the Honest Elections Project, here is the section on the Electoral College end run. It's called the National Popular Vote. They've got a compact that various states, the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. So basically you've got states, Democrat trifecta states, where they control the governor's mansion as well as the House and the Senate. And so they ran through this interstate compact measure, which is to say that they will allocate all of their state's electoral college votes based on who wins the national popular vote. And just for the record, there is no such thing in the Constitution called a national popular vote. Does not happen. It doesn't happen. We have 50 elections on the same day. There is no national popular vote for president. That's just a number that media tracks. It's irrelevant. It is absolutely irrelevant to our governing system. The Electoral College dictates who wins the presidency. The Electoral College was put in place to protect small states from more populated states. The founding fathers, the founders at all of the different state legislatures and governor's mansions around America, 13 colonies, they would not have signed on to the U.S. Constitution but for the protection of the Electoral College. They would not have signed it. They would not have joined the union. So if you're going to abolish, effectively abolish the Electoral College without a constitutional amendment, you are now going to inspire, you're going to induce a constitutional crisis. That's what's in store. I want everybody's eyes wide open on this. Because that's what's coming down the pike. They're pretty close, and that's what this report is warning. The national popular vote may be one of the biggest issues at stake next week. In six days. Okay? In all of these states. On April 13th this year, Governor Abigail Spanberger, the CIA agent turned Democrat governor, signed a measure to bring Virginia into the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, whose members pledged to award their presidential electors to the winner of the National Popular Vote rather than their own state's result. So in other words, Virginia could vote for a Republican president. But if states like California turn out more people and the national popular vote goes for the Democrat, Virginia would allocate its electoral college votes to the Democrat. So you have a situation where the state residents, the state voters are picking a Republican and then the state's electors pick somebody else. based on the national popular vote so in other words the other states chose this person so we're going to throw our support behind them like who the hell do you think you are you don't get to do that this is what i mean by rewriting the rules right that's that's why they're talking about it in this way in this report it's another example of nullification Democrats are attempting to nullify federal law, in this case, constitutional law. That's what they're attempting to do, to nullify it, to say, OK, yes, I know that this is how the system is supposed to work, but we're going to do it this other way. We found this loophole that has never been tested. But once you get enough states that do it, then it will have to be tested. And now you've got a constitutional crisis. Virginia has 13 electoral votes. That brought, and when they entered the compact, they became the 18th state. You got the District of Columbia as well. They are now at 222 electoral votes. Every member state is a Democrat-leaning jurisdiction. Every governor who signed it into law has been a Democrat. The compact purportedly takes effect when they get 270 electoral college votes. That's what you need to win the presidency, 270. They're at 222. So they need 48 more. If you get Democrat trifectas in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Arizona, which are all at risk on Tuesday, that'll take you to 267. That means all you would need is Wisconsin or Nevada. And then you're done. There's your 270. Prior to 2028. The compact is built to neutralize the electoral college without properly amending the Constitution. Supporters call it a step toward one person, one vote. But in truth, it would permanently weight presidential elections in favor of the biggest states, as well as the heavily liberal metro areas. Any attempt to activate the compact would draw an immediate court challenge, throwing the election into chaos. It is a bid to rig the presidential election by sidestepping the Constitution itself. And, as we've been discussing for the last few days, throwing an election into chaos is a red line for the UDA, for the United Democracy Alliance. Right? Right? This is the attempt to trigger crossing of red lines, an illegitimacy crisis, have governors step up and say, we're in charge, negotiate with us foreign powers, we don't recognize the legitimacy of the federal government anymore. This is the new Confederacy. I regret to inform you that I have angered David the leftist, who I have now moved over into Blockville on the text line. Basically, Like you start calling me names. I have no use for you anymore because you're not engaging in the material. You're engaging in ad hominem attacks. And so I moved David, the leftist over into Blockville. So I won't see his messages anymore, but he's very angry. He says, I'm waving a red flag. I'm not really sure what that means. He's like, you're like, I'm trying to like, is this like a bullfighter red flag kind of thing? Like I'm trying to get people worked up or whatever. Well, Okay. I guess like I am trying to impress upon people the importance of voting and the election and understanding what's actually occurring because this is what's occurring. This isn't a conspiracy theory. Virginia just did it. I didn't create the interstate compact. I'm not the one out there touting it. I didn't create rank choice voting. I'm not out there supporting it. I've been opposed to it, but these are the things that Democrats are doing. And by the way, the reason why they do it is to secure the their power, right? Because if you zoom out and take a, a longer term, look, a long-term view of American governance, Democrats have basically ruled the roost for the better part of a hundred years. Now that's not to say there haven't been Republicans that won the presidency. Obviously there have been there. There's, There have been times when Republicans won control of the House and the Senate. But those are, in the grand scheme of things, those are recent developments. Democrats controlled all of this for decades. They only lost power in the House in 1994. They hadn't lost control of the House in like the 60 years prior. And ever since then, it's kind of gone back and forth. But this is what happens when the left loses control. They rewrite the rules. That's what we are seeing, whether it's through the courts, litigation. You get some lawyers with a wardrobe change that interpret things. And that's what the play is. If you can win 26, you can then blow up the electoral college or do this end run around it, create a constitutional crisis, induce a legitimacy crisis. Pack the U.S. Supreme Court, expand the seats, pack a bunch of people on there. They then will rule for things like, oh, we've read the Constitution again and we found abortion rights are in there. You can kill the baby up until birth, right? Maybe even after birth. Like, who's to say? Meanwhile, what's in the Constitution will be reinterpreted like, actually, you're only allowed to own a gun if you're in a militia. Which, prediction, there would be the rise of more militias. if that were to be the ruling. But that's the idea, is you take power, you do it in 26, you set the rules for 28, you get your president, you get your judicial nominees, you get all of that in place, the census occurs in 2030, you'll have at least a decade You'll have at least a decade until the next census, because the only thing that can thwart this is the exodus of people out of blue states into red states voting against the policies from which they fled. And that would reduce the electoral college votes that those states control. All right, that'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening.
