Let me address the turnout. Question because i see now people are suggesting rigged fraud okay um the turnout for republicans was on par a little bit more by like a million votes or so um came in around 55 to 56 million republican uh voters nationwide uh on tuesday for the midterm 55 and a half to six million Democrats two years ago, or sorry, four years ago during their midterm with Joe Biden as president, right? Their turnout was 51 million and it went to 70 million. Okay. So they, they added like 19 million voters and this is being cited as some sort of proof of fraud. But that is what Democrats vote at. That's the level they turn out for in the presidential races. And I said this. I think the day after the election, if not election night, like the Democrats were voting as if it was a presidential election. They were. Look, Democrats are organized year round. What do you think the point of the no Kings and the indivisible and like all of these marches with a couple of fiery, but mostly peaceful riots thrown in every now and again, what do you think that's all about? That's to keep the organized parties organized. It's to keep them sticky, right? To keep people involved and engaged. And you're constantly finding something for them to be mad about. So they keep showing up to your no Kings rallies and stuff. And then you get them out to the polls, right? That's, That's what you can do with hundreds of millions, billions of dollars in money from left-wing billionaires and nonprofits that are running off of taxpayer-funded grants, right? That's the infrastructure that they have built. Like, we've talked about this. And four years ago, when their party controlled the White House, they were not nearly as angry because, well, most of them were, you know, terrified of COVID, locked in their homes and stuff. But they were happy because they were in power. We were happy. I love America because the Democrat's the president, and that's what my patriotism is tied to as a Democrat. That's what the surveys show. Don't blame me. Republicans, out of power, angry. So they turn out in a larger number than the Democrats do because their party is not in power. That's the standard. That's the norm. That's why the party in power loses seats in the midterm. That's why that happens. Because anger animates people more than satisfaction. People are like, things are good. I don't need to go vote. But now, like, that may be a foreign concept to you. It is a foreign concept to me. I don't I vote in every election. Okay. So if you're listening to this program, chances are you don't really understand why people would behave like this, but that is how a lot of millions of people behave like this. Tens of millions of Americans do not ever care to go vote, even if they're not happy with the way things are going, but tens of millions of Americans don't vote. So, um, what Democrats have been doing and Trump has been helping because of, you know, he's constantly doing stuff all the time. He's constantly, you know, angering the left is that every single thing that Trump does is then used to feed the anger on the left. And so they, especially after, you know, Trump slashes the federal workforce, right. With Doge cuts, USA ID, right. The threat to the democracy, right. All like, How many Democrats do you know in your life, leftists as well? And when you talk to them, they really do honestly believe that Donald Trump is Hitler or a Hitlerian figure. He's a fascist. He's a king. He's a dictator, right? And it is existential to them, right? you cannot match that kind of fear. Well, I guess, you know what, hang on. We may actually find out if we can match that kind of fear, because I suspect in the next two years, we are going to see some stuff that will actually inspire those very same thoughts among us. When we start seeing Democrats ruling in, in authoritarian ways because that's, that's what they do as well. Like you can say whatever you want about the way Donald Trump and the Republicans do their business, but Democrats do it too. And so when the Democrats behave this way, it's going to inspire a lot of that anger and fear among the Republicans and people on the right libertarians. Well, maybe I'm thinking this, that's not going to happen, but It may be libertarians start looking at the left and say, hmm, not sure I like this. By the way, libertarian candidates, if you assume that the majority of those votes would go to a Republican and there's disagreement about that, but a lot of libertarian candidates on the ballot, North Carolina ended up, they got more votes than the gap between Republicans and Democrats. So a lot of Republicans might otherwise have won their state legislative races had the libertarian candidates not been on the ballot. Hard to say though, just again, cause you don't know whether those libertarian voters would have voted for a Republican. And like, I've never seen good numbers on that. A lot of libertarians just wouldn't vote in the race or show up to vote at all, whatever. But, um, Yeah. I mean, like, that's the thing. And so people are citing this 20 million vote gap as some sort of proof. And it's not, it's not proof of fraud. And by the way, is that proof of fraud in North Carolina where like our state auditor, where we've been cleaning the books and the voter rolls, we've been doing voter ID. We've done all the, I went over before the election. I went over all of these election integrity measures that the legislature has been putting in place. And Roy Cooper had enough early votes. He didn't need a single vote on election day. Like if you're going to say fraud, every time you lose, you're never going to make improvements to help you win. Right. Because then you're just playing the victim. You're just saying, Oh, there was something that I couldn't control. What's the point. Right. Um, That to me is not helpful. That's not helpful. Democrats saw the Trump agenda. They saw Trump. They saw Republicans as an existential threat. And to be sure, they're not wrong about that, right? They're not wrong. And I say existential threat in that if your entire apparatus is built on government grants, right, NGOs, You get to just work as a, quote, community organizer because you're getting money from leftist billionaires or you're getting money from taxpayer-funded grants funneled through your local government or something. It is existential. You're going to be out of a job. You might actually have to go work. So they're not wrong in that there was a threat to their system. The stuff that Trump was doing to tear apart this infrastructure inside the bureaucracy, the quote-unquote deep state, I'm sure they did see it as existential. And then– I mean that's a large chunk. But then you also have a lot of never-Trumpers, people inside the Republican Party that never liked Trump but held their nose and voted for him anyway. A lot of them saw this as an opportunity– to rip apart the Republican Party so they could be ascended. I see so many people from all these different little factions inside the right. I see so many of these people and they're like, now we can rebuild the party with fill in the blank. And it just so happens to coincide with the vision that they have for the Republican Party. So you got like the Groypers, like now we take over the party. where we can, you know, be a white supremacist party, or you got the Reagan conservatives. Now we take back the party, you know? So everybody's like, this is the opportunity for us to rebuild a party in our own image and likeness. And we cut out those people over there. And, uh, I just, I don't think that, I don't think that's a formula for success because I don't think subtraction equals addition, you know? You want to bring in more people, more groups into your coalition. Well, except for like the Groypers, they can pound sand. Guy, sometimes also a wise guy, plural of why, but Democrats won young white men by 17 points. Trump won that demographic in 2024. Trump won young white men by 28 points. So from 28 points. To 20, plus 28 to negative 17, what is that? A 45-point swing among young white men. Now, do you think Democrats are the party for young white men? What do you think might have caused that? Why would young white men turn and vote for Democrats? Did something about their messaging resonate with Right? Like when you've got them saying that the white guys are the oppressors, they're the reason why you can't get ahead and they're the ones that are responsible for all of the problems in America and all of that. Was that an attractive message to young white men? Or maybe they were told, abandon Trump, he betrayed you, go vote for Democrats and then we'll rebuild a party after that. Because I know that message was being Apparently it worked. And it probably got a bunch of signal boosting from people that don't like Trump outside of our country. Maybe. That's what some of the data is showing, but that's what the... Why would young white men move in that direction? What caused that? Gas prices? Is that what did it? and they all just determined this on their own? They all made that same decision? Joel Berry, who is a writer and producer for the Jeremy Boring Show, formerly of the Babylon Bee, and he said, my prediction is that neocons will blame the paleocons, and the paleocons will blame the neocons, but the real story is that a sophisticated foreign demoralization campaign led by the likes of Jack Posobiec, Steve Bannon, Alexander Dugan, Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson. They viciously cracked up the only coalition that has been preventing total electoral collapse for decades. You know what that is? Conservative evangelicals. And the data supports this, by the way. Axios. Reports the era of conservative white evangelicals dominating America's religious political narrative faces a mathematical collapse. White evangelical or born-again Christians accounted for 17% of voters on Tuesday. That is down six points from 2024. Down seven points from 2022. Their Republican loyalty barely budged. 82% backed the GOP House candidates compared with 84% two years ago, 83% four years ago, right? So among this demographic, the white evangelical Christians, born-again Christians, they still backed Republicans. Religiously unaffiliated voters, known as nuns, is what they're called, not N-U-N, as. In like the Catholic nuns, but no. N-O-N-E-S. None. They accounted for 27% of the electorate on Tuesday. So that's up three points from 2024. And their Democrat support climbed from 70% to 78%. Religious nuns now account for 28% of adults. That is up from 16%, so almost doubled in about 20 years. White evangelical Protestants account for just 13% of American adults. That's down 10 points from 20 years ago. What was the Reagan coalition? I've talked about the three-legged stool, right? These are the coalition groups inside the Reagan coalition that was so successful. You had your war hawks, right? Your defense contingent. You had your fiscal hawks. Libertarian types. And then you had what? Christian coalition. And as Americans become less Christian, that voting bloc is now being ripped apart. Trump's most loyal religious supporters have cooled on his second term as well. Among white evangelical Protestants, his support, his approval fell from 78% last year to 58%. What would that be due to? 20% point erosion in one year among white evangelical Protestants? Did Trump do something a lot different from 25 to 26? Or might these people be listening to messaging that tanked his approval. All right, real quick. Every government number gets revised, right? Every projection gets walked back. Or if you want to talk to somebody, you can call 888-465-3049. Let me jump over to the text line. I have been, uh, I've been neglecting you, texters. I apologize. Scrolling, scrolling. Scrolling down okay here we go um da says what doge uncovered the massive welfare fraud of government taxpayer funded benefits uh the media just pushes the narrative that the corruption people are concerned about is related to only trump which of course is the narrative they would push rather than the massive corruption democrats allowed benefited from and even participated in i just saw one a guy who runs one of those somali daycares actually won a state seat in minnesota. Like, that's, yeah. It's crazy. We got the woman who beat Tim Moore, who wasn't even campaigning. She, like, suspended her campaign because she got charged with that felony auto theft for never returning a rental car. She won. Yeah. It's who Democrats put in. David says, I agree with you, Pete. I've been saying it since the results came in. Trump gave every group a reason to punish the Republicans. I also think each group was probably shocked at the results because there wasn't one big reason to vote against the Republicans. Each group was like a snowflake in the avalanche. Now we have to dig out of this mess. Yeah. Like I, I reject the false choices that I have to pick. This is the one issue. No, that was an issue. And for some people that was their issue, but, There were other issues. There were a whole bunch of them. for different groups of people they had different issues right um we also saw uh for example um the uh the tariffs okay so Spending by Democratic Party candidates for the House of Representatives on ads that criticized the tariffs exploded in 2026. Okay? So if you go back to 2020, Democrats were running positive ads on tariffs and protectionism. Republican, they ran like $ 1. 4 million worth of positive ads. They also ran like 74,000 in negative ads. 2022, no negative ad dollars, half a million positive ad dollars. 2024, no negative ad dollars, only 126,000 positive ad dollars. In 2026, $ 58 million in negative ad dollars criticizing tariffs. Do you know how much Republicans spent? Zero. Positive or negative? Zero. In 24, they ran 2 million in positive ads, no negative ads. Like, Democrats used the tariff issue to hammer Republicans and Republicans let them. They had no, and like, I can understand why a lot of Republicans don't defend the tariffs. Like, they personally oppose what Trump did with the tariffs. So, like, finding people who lean towards the free market more so than the left does. Like, what, you think Democrats are anti-tariff, anti-protectionism? Of course not. Of course not. They just knew a wedge issue when they saw it, and they knew that this was going to hurt Republicans, so they used that. Just like with the gas prices and the Iran war. Same thing. You're telling me that former president drone strike, a.k.a. Barack Obama, you think that guy is somehow opposed to hitting targets over in the Middle East from the air? He's not. Now, to be fair, he does have a soft spot for Iran, so there is that. Um, let's see here. Chris says, my projection is we lost in this way. So America can see how lunatic that the left is again. And we can convert back to conservatism in time for a Republican president in 28. Um, it's going to be a heavy lift. Who knows? I mean, it's possible. I just think that the damage that Democrats are going to do in a lot of these state legislatures is going to be irreparable. I went over yesterday about the interstate compact. Like, What I see coming based on the nullification efforts from the Democrats and the left and the media's unwillingness to see that for what it is and to recognize the danger in what they are doing. Because I always say this, the other side gets a vote, right? If you and I approach each other on the street and you don't want to have a physical altercation with me and I don't want to have one with you, then we will not have one. However, if you don't want to have an altercation, but I do, and I start one, I have taken that choice from you. The other side does in that scenario, right? The other side, you, you're not going to get a vote in this anymore. I read that from DA. Let's see. Shane, NAFTA had carve-outs for some industries. NAFTA wasn't free trade for all imports and exports. That's correct. Yeah, that was replaced by the USMCA. Thank you, Andrew. It's important to realize that dissatisfied, angry voters are more motivated to vote than those who are interested in maintaining the status quo. That is probably the biggest reason why more Democrats showed up to vote than Republicans for the midterms. That's correct. That has been true for decades. People who are satisfied tend not to be motivated to vote. Jason says, you're correct about the presidential year turnout theory for Democrats. There are videos online of Democrats genuinely confused why there is no new president after Tuesday. Oh my goodness. On your Democrat large donor list, you did not mention the vast amount of money coming from public sector unions. It's huge. Yes, that is true, Dave. That's one of the other components here. Tom, I will come back to that. You got a lot of math on that one in that text. Steve says, this was the first election I voted libertarian. I voted for Casey Wittner in the South Carolina Senate race. Could not bring myself to vote for Darlene. Um, well, uh, thank you for that, Steve. Yeah, no, look, you do you, that's fine. Um, of course now, uh, you know, Democrats have a massive Senate majority and they will be able to block every confirmation of every, uh, nominee and, um, maybe even impeach, uh, Trump and, uh, and a whole bunch of cabinet members too. And, um, Yeah, no, like, that's a... That was a choice. Let me get caught up here on the rest of the... The rest of the text line. Oh, I actually had... Oh, darn it. I meant to do the... All right, you know what? I'm going to save this text for next hour because this ties into the gas price stuff. I will circle back. I will Pasaki back to that. 704 number says, Pete... please become a Republican advisor. They need your wisdom. Republicans seem to only want to tread water. I, I give all of this stuff away for free every day. Like they can hear everything that I have to say about it. And look, I have no idea. I'm sure all of the consultant class inside the GOP, I'm sure they know so much better than just me. I'm a little old radio host. What do I know? You know, um, Kevin says, I look forward to someone like Rubio or Vance who's more measured being in there, but you are correct on multiple occasions in talking to lefties. They think Trump is the devil incarnate. They get so emotional about it. Republicans get emotional sometimes to an irrational point, but not like the Democrats, I know at least. Another 704 number. Maybe they did not succumb to messaging. This is the white male vote flipping. Maybe it was Trump, his mouth and his handling of the economy with wars, military and trade and tariffs hurting his voting bloc. Yeah, all of that's part of it. See, again, like I reject the false choice as you are presenting to me here. You're saying maybe they did not succumb to messaging. Maybe it was this. Like, see, again, it's not an either or. It's an all of the above. Different people were motivated by different things. That's why, like, I find it pretty pointless for people to argue that, like, it was about the Iran war and that's the reason and ignore the tariffs and ignore the, you know, affordability, inflation, housing costs, whatever, like, or, you know, Trump running his mouth on stuff, whatever, like, It's an all of the above thing. And I've been saying this for a while. The parties are realigning. The Democrats are moving more towards the Marxist strain over there. Right? They're becoming more and more captured by that ideology. Not sure what's going to happen with the Republicans. Right? The Trump coalition, the MAGA movement, whatever. I've said this ever since day one. It is built around him. And when he is gone, then there's going to have to be some sort of resorting that occurs because the whole thing is around him. I didn't think that was a good idea to build a political movement around one guy that really was transactional. He's not an ideologue in any sense. So this is the fight that we knew was coming, and it's here. So you've got all these different factions inside the GOP, and they're all angling for supremacy because they think that somehow or another, like, I'll swap out Trump and my faction will take over and we'll ride to victory. That's not how that works, especially if you're torching everybody around you because they're not sufficiently towing the line that you want to take. So yeah, this is a false choice. I reject it. Mitch, Says, from his first debate with Hillary, I knew Trump would come with a cost. We are going to start paying that cost in January. Yeah. That was always the case. 704 number says, the thing I find to be more disturbing about these election results, as I think it has less to do with Iran and more to do with the advance of socialism in our culture, I'm not sure what we do about that. That is part of it as well. A long march through the institutions by the left, by the Marxists. It's a long march. That's why it's called that. It takes several generations. And the Democrats are now enjoying the fruits of that labor. All of the people that have been promoting America as an inherently systemically racist and evil country White people are these oppressors keeping you down. That's the reason you can't get what you want and we'll take the power. This is literally what the new leader of the Texas House or maybe Senate, his name. Is Wu, is literally what he said. He literally said this about white people, that you're the oppressor and now we're going to band together and we're going to take the power. And I've been saying this for years to people who are playing this racialized game. Be very careful. Because at some point, white people will then start playing it with you. And when white people start playing that game, and they start looking at themselves as white first and white only, and now we're going to view you guys as the oppressor, that is a recipe for civil war. Racial civil war. No bueno. That is not good. Should be avoided. At all costs. But, once again, right, like, if somebody is intent on having an altercation with me, I don't necessarily have a choice anymore. All right, that'll do it for this episode.
