All Right, so last week I talked a little bit about what's going on in the UK. I've been sort of watching it develop. I've been listening to various interviews for the last probably two months or so. It's really starting. It's starting to boil. More and more and more people are talking about it. It's now breaking through into your your legacy media outlets over there, your old school newspapers. Because the Brits went crazy. They imported the worst ideas from America and it's leftist, progressive ideology, just the worst stuff now, truth be told, The Fabian Society started at the London School of Economics and all that, so I mean they no shortage of bad ideas coming from them either. That was the Fabians were the ones that were like, we can't have a socialist revolution, so because like, our society is too well off and we're not sort of we're not conditioned to engage in violence to overthrow government. So if we want the socialism, we're just going to have to do it more gradually, you know. And so the people that infect their ruling class, they are all on board with this idea, and they are ignoring their own population. My opinion is because they hold them in contempt. And so they have been on this mission to imput tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of people from cultures and countries that do not like them, and they've been doing this for like the better part of twenty years. I also talked last week about Islam. It's a supremacy, colonizing ideology. It's murderous and they will conquer your land, Britain. That's what they are doing. You're letting them, You're you're giving them the pass and paying their hotel rooms and stuff to get there. So I don't know what you're doing except committing suicide. As a culture, Well, the citizens were subjects. They've had quite enough. So there's a place called Epping, EPPI ng Epping, and late last week the Epping Council won a court case that would allow it to close down one of these migrant hotels. Okay, now, these are regular hotels that the government is paying the rent on for migrants. And in a lot of cases these hotels are really nice hotels that the people of the UK can't even afford to stay at. But they're being taxed at levels higher than us, right and because you know, socialism is about spending other people's money, and so like, they just keep siphoning off this money. And I'd also heard that they actually lost No country has lost more millionaires than Britain in the I believe it's like the last ten years or five years, they're fleeing. People with the means to do so are fleeing. And so they're taking this money and they're putting it into these hotels for migrants. In the local town councils and body politic, the riff raft, the rabble, hoy poloy, they're getting pretty ticked off about it because there's also been a spike in crime, particularly sexual assaults, because people coming from these cultures think it's okay, that's what they say, that's their defense. There was a guy released this weekend who said that he literally did not know that it wasn't okay to rape a twelve year old. That was his excuse, his official excuse, Oh, I didn't know that was wrong. See, this is what people are talking about when they say things like Carla Cunningham said on the floor of the North Carolina House that all cultures are not equal. There is this Western conceit most pronounced among the lefties that think everybody else is like us, and they're not. They're a different cultural norm some of which if I'm doing a ledger better or worse than my cultural norm, I would put the twelve year old raping. I would put that on the negative side of the ledger. That's just me. Your mileage may vary on that, but that's me. I would prefer not importing people that have a cultural predisposition to accept that kind of behavior. So Epping Council wins a court case to allow it to close a migrant hotel, but then the Home Office, So the National Home Office appeals and they won the right to keep the hotel open, even though it was acknowledged that it was a crime magnet and the site of sexual assaults. The government argued that the rights of illegal migrants outweighed those of the epping citizens. This is a problem. The people that are making these decisions are telling you that there are in fact two tiers of justice, two tiers of citizenry, two tiers of rights. David Strom at hot air dot com says it was a stunning rebuke by the government to its angry citizens or subjects, reminding them who rules in technocratic Britain and it is not the citizens. Over the past couple of weeks, Britain's have been holding their flag protest called Hoist the Colors, I think is what they call it. English, Welsh, Scots, Irish flags waving as reminders to government officials of who they are supposed to represent. And the response has been to declare that the waving of flags is hateful and incitement to violence. This is what they've been saying. Here's Keir Starmer tweeting out this was yesterday. I believe you yesterday. I'm proud of our flag as a patriotic symbol of our nation. Like law lots of people, I've proudly got one up at my home using our flag to divide devalues it. How would raising your own nation's flag divide people, unless, of course there are people that you have welcomed onto your shores that hate your country and your people. That's the only reason it would be divisive. If anything, people would be super happy to be under that flag. That's why they're there, right, isn't that why they're there? M No. In fact, the UK Government is going to go a little bit further. This is the Home Secretary that Cooper speaking at the Parliament. The Home Office has put in place systems to issue expedited visas with biometric checks conducted prior to arrival for children and their immediate accompanying family members. We've done the same for all the achievening scholars and are in the process of doing so now for the next group of students from Gaza who have been awarded fully funded scholarships and places at UK universities so they can start their studies in autumn this year. And later this year we will set out plans to establish a permanent framework for refugee students to come study in the UK so we can help more talented young people fleeing war and persecution to find a better future alongside capped and managed ways for refugees to work here in the UK more because as speak of this government is determined to fix every aspect of the broken system we inherited and to restore the confidence of the British people. Not going to work that way precisely the opposite of what your people are demanding. You're giving out scholarships to Gazins and their immediate family. They're trying to kill you. Like, I don't know any other way around, Like I have no explanation for why the ruling elites in the UK would do something like this, considering the temperature that already exists in your country. You've got hundreds of thousands of Brits taking to the streets saying no more, we don't want this. We never voted for this. In fact, we voted to get the hell out of this with Brexit, and they just say, oh, okay, yeah, now we're going to double down and do it even more. It's just astounding. So when I was a kid, my grandpa died with Alzheimer's, and before he died, my mom and my dad took care of him as he got worse. Forty years ago, there were no treatments and not much support for caregivers and family. But things are different to because of the work of so many people, including the Alzheimer's Association of Western Carolina. It's a great organization with awesome people with huge hearts. I've been a supporter for twenty five years. This cause means a lot to me. I participate in the annual Walk to end Alzheimer's and I'm leading a Charlotte team again this year, and it's called once again Pete's Pack. You can sign up and you can join the team and walk with us. It's on October eighteenth, that truest field. Sign up at alz dot org slash walk and then you can search for my team name Pete's Pack. We're closer than ever to stopping Alzheimer's. Can you help us get there? Will you walk with me? For a different future, for families, for more time for treatments. This is why we walk. David Strom at hot air dot com going over some of the latest developments here, he says, maybe kicking your citizens in the teeth, maybe that could be incitement. I mean, if flying the flag to the elites is a sign of inciting violence, then maybe kicking your citizens in their teeth, maybe that could be incitement as well, because that's how people are feeling, and the rage is building, Strom says, So the protests have been escalating, with thousands taking to the street despite attempts to discourage the marches and arrests made for quote racial hatred. Just an hour before I wrote this piece, the local organizer of the Epping protests, which by the way, were fully not mostly peaceful, they were peaceful. The leader the local organizer of the protest was act as citizens express their frustration with their representative's failure to address their legitimate concerns, the regime is escalating its repression the choice was whether to listen to their constituents or impose their will on them, and they of course chose the latter. There's been no rioting, there's been no looting, just ordinary citizens who feel like they're getting abused even when they play by the rules. They see their housing supply of vaporate, their taxes go up, their standard of living go down, and they look at how the government is using their money to house and feed illegal immigrants who are assaulting their children. Along with the migrant wave, crime has escalated and Britain is now the rape capital of the Western world. That is amazing. I was watching an interview with somebody. They were American, and they were doing the interview in London, and they were told and they said this. I was told that before I come over here, don't wear a watch and don't pull out your cell phone on the sidewalks because you will be robbed of your watch. You will be robbed of your cell phone. And the guy from London, the interviewer, said, oh, yeah, I can confirm that nobody wears their watch anymore in London. The migrant issue is a symptom. David Strom says, it's not the cause. Of the problem. It's a symptom. It's the ruling classes contempt for the citizens they claim to represent. That is absolutely true. Gbews dot com Great Britain news piece by Dan McDonald get this. The British countryside has been labeled quote overwhelmingly white and size for not having enough halal food options. In a new report, a review on rural racism from the University of Lester's Center for Hate Studies has highlighted a number of challenges faced by those from ethnic minority backgrounds when they're out in the countryside. Rural Britain's overwhelming whiteness causes discomfort and psychological burden to people from different minority groups trying to navigate in white spaces. The academics also claim that pub culture and other monocultural customs in the rural areas are not very inclusive, so they suggest more halal food and of course, spaces for prayer. The report, which actually starts with a trigger warning, was based on a series of interviews and informal conversations with one hundred fIF participants. It noted that the countryside communities could be revived by bringing in more diverse communities as part of a broader rural regeneration strategy. Seeing yes, we're going to revive your rural community by replacing you. What does that not make sense? The Rural Racism Project claimed its participants had been treated poorly in rural areas through prejudicial microaggressions. The report defined these as persistent and aggressive staring, aggressive staring okay, hostile body language, and deliberate isolation. It also noted that the British monoculture found away from our multicultural cities could help fuel far right sentiment. Of course, yes, of course. There's a think tank in Great Britain called Onward, and there's a fellow that works there by the name of Gavin Rice, and he has quoted in this article as saying, quote, can you imagine if a bunch of academics published a report saying parts of the UK are too black, too Asian or too Chinese? He says, over ninety percent of the UK is white. If you are outside of the major cities, like, what are you supposed to do? Well? Sorry, I think you're just going to have to be replaced. That's the idea here. In another example, this is the same thing, right, same thing. Those are symptoms the cause is the elite contempt for its citizenry. There's a class layer going on here. There's a socialism communism layer going on as well, and there's an authoritariy. There's a guy by the name of Graham Lynen. He is a Irish comic and he posted onto his substack page this morning that he took a flight from Arizona and landed in Heathrow and was arrested for jokes. All right, so you've heard me talk about Creative Video for almost a year, But did you know they also offer a game changing app for businesses that reward their teams with incentive trips. All right, so there's a an Irish comedian named Graham Linahan Linehan Lenehan. He's Irish anyway. He was on a flight from Arizona back to Heathrow, London, Heathrow Airport, and he throws in London, right, I flew into Heathrow, I think, because then you get the connection over to Caerland. Anyway, So he shows up at the airport in Arizona and he goes to the ticket to ticket counter to check in, and the ticket agent said that he did not have a seat and so he had to be reticketed. At the time, he said, I thought it was just sort of an innocent snaffoo that makes air travel such a joy nowadays, But in hindsight, it was clear I had been flagged. The moment I stepped off the plane at Heathrow, five armed police officers were waiting. They told me I was under arrest for tweets. Three tweets, which I would have thought a one to one ratio of officer to tweet, like one cop per offensive tweet, that would have been a little bit more rational. But five officers for three tweets seems like a bit of overkill. You also, I mean, you know you're taking him and out. You know you're gonna take him into custody on the airplane, and so he's already gone through the security. You know, he doesn't have any weapons on him or anything because he was flying. So seems like a pretty controlled environment. Don't know why you need five armed cops anyway. He goes on to say in his substack page, in a country where pedophiles escape sentencing, where knife crime is out of control, where women are assaulted and harassed every time they gather to speak, the state has mobilized five armed officers to arrest a comedy writer for this tweet. And he then has a screenshot of it and I will tell you what it says. And it was from April twentieth, so a while ago. Here's what he said. Quote, if a transidentified male is in a female only space, he is committing a violent abusive act. Make a scene, call the cops, and if all else fails, punch him in the in the family jewels. That was the first tweet. The second tweet had a picture of a crowd of people on a corner. I don't know, probably i'd say three four hundred people and they're all crowding around some shop front. And the picture is taken from up above, like probably the third story, taking a picture down onto the crowd from across the street. And I don't know what the crowd gathering is. I can't make out. There are no signs. I don't know who they are. I see some trans flags and it says Graham says, a photo you can smell. And then April nineteenth tweet, he says, I hate them misogynists and homophobes, bleep them, referring to the transactivists. Okay, so those were the offensive tweets. So the cops have scored him off the plane. He sits for the interview the officer conducting it asks about first he fell asleep for a while, and then he woke up, and then they did the interview. The officer conducting it asked about each one of the terrible tweets in turn, with the sort of earnest intensity usually reserved for discussing something serious, like, oh, I don't know crime. I explained that the punch tweet, the first one, was a serious point made with a joke. He then outlines the nature of the joke, which anybody knows, like if you have to explain the joke, it's not funny, right, Like that's so. The officer then mentions trans people and I asked him what he meant by that phrase, and the officers said people who feel their gender is different than what was assigned at birth. And I said, assigned at birth. Our sex is not assigned. He called that semantics. I told him he's using activist language. At some point, then they bring in a nurse to do a check take his vitals for some reason. I don't know if that's standard over there or what, but they see that his blood pressure is over two hundred, which is like that's stroking out, okay, like you're about to have a stroke. So they take him to the hospital and he's put under observation for eight hours. They determined it was likely due to stress. Right, you know what his bail condition was. There was only one condition in order to be released. He's not allowed to go on Twitter. That's what the judge said. Can't go on to that's it. No threats, no speeches about the seriousness of my crimes, just a legal gag order designed to shut me up while I'm in the UK, and a demand that I face a further interview next month. He says the UK has become a country that is hostile to freedom of speech, hostile to women, and far too accommodating to the demands of violent and titled, abusive men who have turned the police into their personal goon squad. So this is now prompted. Just this all happened today, Well this was he published this substack because they didn't tell him don't go on substack. They just said don't go on Twitter. So he didn't go on Twitter. He went on substack. But this is now prompting a rising call for the UK to adopt First Amendment pre like we have, because that is really I think, actually hang on I think I saw that somebody. Yeah, okay, so from Jim in Waxaw. Their government is in full totalitarian mode. You're addressing the important migrant crisis, but this news concerned speech control. Think or Well's nineteen eighty four. There must be a revolution in the UA, in the UK or else. The country is doomed forever. Yeah, like this is where you are right now, and I think, like the population, This is why I keep talking about this story is because I get a real sense that this thing is about to pop. And I don't know what's going to be the spark, but you cannot keep your citizen re this angry at its government and not have something cause the spark. Something's going to happen. Come on. So the big announcement from the White House was that Huntsville, Alabama is getting the headquarters for Space Force and it will now be called Rocket City USA. I don't know if that's official, but that's what Trump said. So that was the big announcement. Huntsville, Alabama, Congratulations, home of Space Force. I did have a message from Russ who says, you know where they have lots of halal food and places for daily prayer. I do, yes, there's like a whole conquered formerly Christendom area where you could probably get all of the halal food and many, many many mosques. I don't go to New York and expect those heathens to have bow Jangles good barbecue or sweet tea as well. You should not, although I did see one year like Brooklyn won some prize for barbecue. But I don't believe it, andy, says mark Stein. Love. Mark Stein has written extensively on the subject of the UK and the grooming gangs and the loss of freedom of speech for the past twenty years. The stories he tells are horrendous. From my opinion, there seems to be no reasonable explanation for why the UK and Western Europe in general continues these policies. From what I understand, it goes back to I think it was nineteen ninety six, the Refuge Agreement or something like that, and so these Western liberal democracy said, well, if people come in, it's our responsibility to take them in. And then again they use your openness against you, and so other countries, you know, Russia, China, Iran, They create destabilization in countries, creating refugees that then flood into your country destabilize your country. There's that, there's the colonization aspect of Islam. So there are people that are motivated for that reason, right, and that's how you end up with all of these people who don't like your country very much. They are there to colonize you. That's why they're putting their flags all over your country. Wake up, right, I said the other day, there is a word for when you're not allowed to hoist your flag over your ground, but somebody else is. The word is conquered. You have been conquered. They are now in charge. Let's go to the text line here Do do do do? Do you? From Mary? I came in late to the show, but my husband and I were just traveling and met a couple from England who assured us everything we are reading in the news is true and they are dying for a Trump like leader. Yeah, this is like, this moment is Nigel Faraj's moment. Should he choose to accept it? Right? He can as the leader of the Reform Party. He can actually harness this power and remake British politics if he chooses to. And if he can do it, he's the He's the only option you got. Keir Starmer, he's the Prime Minister and he's like, you know, making these comments like today he said something like, oh, I want to shut down all of these asylum hotels, these migrant hotels, I want to shut them all down. I want to close the borders too. He's like saying all of this stuff, but he's not doing anything, and it's creating more problems, more contentiousness. Right, A deep dive into the UK shows a coming civil war or revolution across the pond. We shall see. That is from the text line Pete, this is from Dave. So glad you are on WBT Afternoon. I'm a lifelong listener. My father was born nineteen twenty one. He started listening at an early age. So glad you work hard to get Charlotte politicians to be exposed for their ignorance. Case in point, the light rail is a rolling homeless shelter. Thank you, Dave Creciated, Thanks for listening. Huntsville, Alabama is way ahead of the White House. Rocket City trash Panda's minor league baseball. Is that really their name? Is it the trash pan Well, those are raccoons, the Rocket City Raccoons. New York is known for their barbecue and their country Western singers like Beyonce. Says Andrew. That is true big splash Beyonce made when she when she started doing the country Western stuff. Now, no, I remember there was like some hipster place in Brooklyn and it won some barbecue award and outrage ensued because it's like it's not even really barbecue, right, because it's like a mustard bass. I'm kidding. I'm kidding, but that's not really barbecue other but I know, I'm I don't even remember. I think it was like a sweet sauce or something, but I did not read too much of the article at the time because it was obviously you know, heresy. All right, that'll do it for this episode.
