I believe this is day five of me successfully not ramming any federal officials vehicles in a sign of protest. Day five, I am on here. Staceymatthews from RedState dot com joins me. You can read her work there RedState dot com. Hello, Stacy, how are you. I'm good, Peter, congratulate you on your restraint. Yeah, thank you. It's you know, one day at a time. So as I understand it, you had a bit of a front row seat to some of the aftermath of the mayhem or one of these moonbats use their vehicle to try to obstruct the operations. Yes, sir, and actually both of the vehicle ramming incidents happened on the university area in Charlotte, which is an area I'm very familiar with. I don't live too far away from that. And the second incident in particular involved someone who, according to the War Patrol, allegedly attempted to ram their vehicles as they were at a gas station here in the University area, and when they tried to pursue the person, they let them on a high speed chase for about a mile. Well, hang on, that's as I said in the first hour when I was talking about this case, Stacy, that's how you promote the feeling of safety in the community, as I understand it, because that's what all of the protesters are about, is making people feel safe. And high speed chases through heavily congested areas that's how you do that. I'm not sure you were. Aware, absolutely, and this wasn't just a congested area piece. It was. Assuming they took the route that I think they did, because they ended up on a Neweleview Lane, which is off of Rocky River Road West. It actually would have taken them by a elementary school, which around the time that happened was around lunchtime, which is sometimes you see the kids out there playing on the playground in the front of the school. So this person endangered not just the CVP officers and people on the road, but they also endangered neighborhoods that were nearby, and also a school full of elementary age children. And I actually came up on the tail end of it as I was running errands on Monday, and those CVP officers were present, they were blocking off the road. There were people nearby who were filming and shouting obscenities, you know, and things of that nature, probably not knowing what just happened that somebody not only tried to endanger the life of the CVP agents, but also the people everybody in the neighborhood, school kids and that sort of thing. And it was a similar situation with the first incident which happened also in the University area on Sunday, involving a white van who rammed into several law enforcement vehicles. And the stretch of road that he was on, I believe it was forty nine Highway forty nine. It's nothing but residential and commercial businesses in that area, and it's right there at UNC Charlotte. They were able to catch up with the person about a mile up the road and they arrested them, and they're sharp being charged with the felony. But these people think they actually are putting the lives of illegal immigrants over the people in their own communities. They're endangering the people in their own communities so people can live and work and probably commit crimes here while being illegal. When you rolled up on the scene and you saw the aftermath, is that when you tried to ram the vehicles yourself. I actually had similar restraints. Oh good for you, Okay, good to know. Yeah, but you know, it's it's you know, it's just these things have been going on all over the city that the operations have. You know, they've been on the South Side, They've been in the University area. They've even been scattered out to Hunter's Bull and Matthews And I believe that I've heard that they're even in Raleigh. They're a area. Yea, you know, they're not messing around, but you know, the the wactivists are at it. And and and what gets me, Pete is I was encouraged to hear the caller in your previous hour state that he had seen some mostly positive comments on TikTok towards the officers, because what I've seen on the next door app has been an absolute dumpster fire. Well, I mean the next door app is always a dumpster fire, so I. Mean it's like it's extra special. There was. You know, there's people on there saying things like, you know, spare me with the if they need to do it legally, if you're a descendant of Columbus, you don't belong here either. Those are the kind of things that you see on the people are saying, well, nobody's here legally, okay, whatever. It's just I've actually had to temporarily turn off notifications six. I would recommend you just leave them off just forever. There's no reason to ask. Yeah, just for your own mental health. That's probably for the best. All right, let's shift gears a little bit because we got a couple of things. Where do you want to hit first? Do you want to I mean, because it's all kind of congressional related. We got HAKEM. Jeffreys, we got Jamie Raskin, Stacey Plasked. We've got just a bunch of Democrats in disarray, shall we say, And and it all starts, I guess with the uh with the Epstein emails and such. Right, Well, you know, I almost honestly think that Trump has been talking all these months about, well, we shouldn't focus on the Epstein file, specifically to get Democrats to shoot themselves in the foot, which is what they've done this week with the revelation that Delegate Stacey Plasket from the Virgin Islands actually was revealed in some of the text messages or the email messages I should say, as texting Jeffrey Epstein during at twenty nineteen congressional hearing, and he was actually coaching her on questions to ask a witness. Yeah, what is that wrong? I mean, maybe she didn't know who Epstein was. Sure, Well, now the excuses that they've used she and Jamie Raskin and some others in Congress. Oh, well, he was just a constituent. It was in twenty nineteen. This was eleven years after he was convicted on sex offenses involving minors. Actually, he was very well known, So you can't tell me that she didn't know. So we was at the time they were being he was being. Texted, and she's the delegate from the Virgin Islands, and that's important because that's where his pedophile island was located. So like he was connected to her and Raskin's defense, I actually have the clip. Here's Jamie Raskin defending Plasket, who I had no idea that there was even this delegate there, but here's Raskin. Well, they want to give them an other headline, which is that they've arraigned a Democratic member for taking a phone call from her constituent, Jeffrey Epstein in the middle of a hearing. And of course I don't think there's any rule here against taking phone calls in a hearing. Apparently there's no rule against members of Congress acting stupidly on the House for either. No, there's definitely not a role on that. Fifty shades of stupid comment there. I mean, hey, Jamie Raskin has been one of the lead bad faith actors in all of this, demanding that the file get released, talking about what a sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein was and he was, and now all of a sudden, a member of Congress on the Democrat side texting with him. It is basically colluding with him during a congressional hearing eleven years after he was convicted of sex offenses. We just now need to boil it down to he was just a constituent. Right, Okay, Now have you heard her response to. This, She said the same thing, that he was a constituent. Let me play you this clip. There's like forty seconds here. This is her on CNN. This is Plasket on CNN. I believe that Jeffrey Epstein had information, and I was going to get information to get it the truth. Having a friendship with him is not something that I would deem to have, and so I'm just looking forward. I'm moving forward, moving forward. And I think that that's what we as American people should do, is move forward. Individuals are not involved in illegal activity, extending his criminal enterprise or his financial enterprise or all of those things. I think that we need to look at what people are doing moving forward. Wait, let me just better understand that. What is that point? Because at the time, he wasn't a sex offender and it had been detailed all the sexual there are a lot of people who have done a lot of crimes. There you go, But you know, just a lot of people have done a lot of crimes. You know, paid his debt to society and stuff, right right. Well, you know, I don't even know if it was mentioned in that scene in interview. But Hakeendre Jeffries, who was the minority leader in the House, was put on the hot sea last night by GOP Oversight Committee Chair James Comer, who revealed that in the latest trench of emails that a group that was affiliated with Jeffries hint during his first year in Congress, actually solicited Jeffrey Epstein to appear for a campaign appearance in Sunraiser. I have that audio tail private, possibly even have a private meeting with Jeffries, you know. And so it's like, you know, this is one of these things to be careful what you wish for. You know. They demanded that these things get you know, put out there. But now that they're out there, like Plaska said, it's time to move. On exactly, let's just move forward. Oh, this is a distraction now. And yeah, it's like it is comical in the way this is now like reaching, this thing is reaching out into all these different people. I noticed also Steve Bannon has been implicated in playing some sort of a similar role as that guy Michael Wolfe. Because remember the Democrats, what was it last week they tried to well, they leaked out these three emails that you know somehow. Another was like, oh, Jeffrey Epstein hated Donald Trump, Like okay, Like I don't know if that's the win you think that is. And then the other one is like it implicates Michael Wolfe as like giving him advice on how to manage the pr of the pedophilia charges and stuff. And now you've got Steve Bannon trying to do the same thing, like very recently with this guy, like a year before he committed suicide or died or was murdered or whatever. Right, well, you know, and the thing is thee his Democrats don't want to hear this. All of this actually makes Trump look like that really the only good one in the whole picture. He's the one that had it stain thrown out of mar Alocco all those years ago for poaching workers for what ended up being you know, his sexual deviation stuff. So he's the only one that really looks good in all of this. You know, he's the one. He's the one that kind of stood against you for He's he's rumored to be the whistleblower informant and I believe the Florida case. He's the one that in my opinion, you know more or less comes out smelling like a rose and all this more so than anybody else. Yeah, if that rumor turns out to be true, that he was the one, he was a source for the investigators that finally went after Epstein like this could not this could not be worse for Democrats. That turns out to be true. Hey, Stacy, I always appreciate your time. Keep up the great work. You can read her work at RedState dot com. She writes under the numb depume of sister told you Stacy, thanks so much. Pete, thank you, and don't ram any cars. You two all right, you two, all right, Thanks day, say appreciate you all right. I passed a protest at the corner of Kilbourne Drive and Central Avenue. That's my old stomping ground in front of a business last night. The business owner had to tow a car that was parked at as establishment because they were not patrons, they were protesters, and then the protesters wanted the business owner to pay for the toe. Here's one from Manuela. I love listening to your program. I came legally to America in nineteen ninety nine. I followed the rules and renewed my green card right before it expired for about two years. Now I'm a US citizen. Congratulations, Manuela, thank you. Welcome. America is home and I'm happy and proud to be here. Regarding the border patrol being in Charlotte this week, I don't understand all the fuss. Illegal immigrants knew for a very long time to file papers. The Trump administration made no secret out of all of this. If I get pulled over, I cooperate. I show proof of legal ID. People who have been procrastinating for years to file now have no right to complain. And if you are here and you have a long history of crime, I want you to go back to your home country or prison so America can be safe again. Thank you, Manuela, I appreciate that. Yeah, the issue of assimilation, let me see, I'm trying to. Get to, uh do did you? Did you? Did? She? Oh Seth says did did Stacy Matthews just coin the term wacktivist? I don't know. I've seen her use it in her posts at Red State, so yeah, she's been using it for a while. The term wacktivists. Ian wants to know, did I did I get the term moon back from the Great Neil boords I believe I did. Ian says, I've totally co opted it. Yeah, it's a great it's a great urn, a great term. And Joe Joseph from Ashville, it's going to come out that Trump is the informant and force and forced Epstein going to prison. Mega blowout backfire is headed straight at the Democrats on this. Well, I mean, so far the signs are not looking good for Democrats on this. Here is James Comer, who he's the House Oversight Committee. He went to the floor of the House and he revealed one of the emails that they had gotten from the Epstein estate was an email from a Democrat consulting firm sent to Jeffrey Epstein where it was trying to induce him to come to a fundraiser for Keem Jeffries AK and they called him this in the email. Brooklyn's Barack. That's what they called him in the fundraising email. Another email shows Democrat fundraisers invited Epstein to an event or to meet privately with Hakeem Jeffries as part of their twenty thirteen effort to win a majority. So Hakeem Jeffries campaign solicited money from Jeffrey Epstein. That's what we found in the last document batch. The files underscore why former President Trump must appear for his deposition. We've subpoened him. To date, the Democrats have done. Nothing to help us secure his appearance. I support full transparency. The Oversight Committee will continue to work to get the truth to the American people and to get justice for the victims. That's our goal of this investigation. With that yell back, so he said former President Trump, but I think he meant either Obama or Clinton, because the Clintons have refused. They're not coming in for the depositions, and Democrats aren't helping them, right. Democrats are so interested in transparency that they're not helping move along this investigation on anything. They're just like, release the files, release the files, and like, okay, well here are some files, like ooh ah, well, I didn't think you were going to release all of them, like with my name. Trump included, Okay, well they did release all of the emails. They pushed the thing through the House. It got unanimous consent in the Senate. Everybody, everybody but one, voted in the house for it. So now like there are a couple different explanation that Dana will not entertain because Dana has. Her bias already calcified. And so this, you know, I don't know, and I acknowledge the things that I don't know. I can take a guess, I can make some theories whatever, but that doesn't mean I know. I don't know why Trump flipped. Could be that he was, like I've seen. One explanation is that politically he didn't want to focus on the Epstein stuff because he's doing all this other stuff that he wants credit for. He wants all the focus on the stuff that he that he's been doing. That's so, you know, wonderful, and look at all the good we're doing, and you guys are getting you know, distracted with this thing or whatever. I don't know. That's possible, right, It's possible that he doesn't want this stuff that's in there from his already known previous relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. He didn't want more of that to dominate the news cycle because it's been thirty years, right and by his count, you know, I kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of the mar a lago. Maybe he was the source for the FBI didn't want that out. One of the other things is if Epstein was acting as a cutout as a bagman for governments, including hours, if he was running honeypot traps in order to blackmail, or if he was just handing money off to get off book black ops done for governments without angering allies and stuff, right, he could have been fulfilling that role as well. I don't know how he made all of his money. I don't know why the guy from Victoria's Secret right, one of the the fashion mogul guys, was giving him, you know, millions and millions of dollars to manage his accounts. I don't know those I don't have the answers to that stuff. I don't know about the plea deal that he got. I would like to know all of that. I have said we should release all of the files as well. I was critical of Trump when he's like, move on, move on. No, you ran on this, your base wants this, your voters want this. Democrats are the Johnny come Lately to this party. Democrats didn't want any of this stuff. They didn't care about the Epstein stuff. I've been talking about the Epstein stuff since twenty eighteen when all of this stuff broke and with the flights down to Epstein Island, Little Saint James right, and he got the plea agreement, and he went like and he had these previous convictions. I covered it at the time. And the other another potential explanation is that there are powerful people from here and from other governments and whatever, and they may be in the files. Maybe they didn't do anything wrong. Maybe they were friends, like look what's happening with Larry Summers right, Like it's going to destroy some people. It could destroy some people. And maybe they didn't do anything wrong. They're just going to get associated with it. All of these things are possible. I don't know. We shall see. But Dana says, why would some many Republicans not vote to release it? Damn that kool aid must be some must be strong. I'll clean that up for you. Trump had backdoor meetings to get a congresswoman to change her vote. That was Bobert, Congresswoman Bobert. Guess he's not the only one who deflects. Yeah. No, he tried to get her to not go along with this, and when that failed and he did the meeting in the situation room, which would indicate to me that there may be some stuff in there that's like classified. You're doing it in the situation room, so maybe there's some classified stuff that's in there that's going to jeopardize relationships or it's going you know, or it's like, hey, we you know this ally of ours, didn't you want us to do something, but we wanted to do it, So we funded some off book black op to do the thing that we publicly said we didn't do. And you would use a guy like Epstein to funnel the money to the group to get the black op done, that's possible too. I don't know. I don't know. There are all sorts of explanations surrounding this stuff, but the very fact that Democrats are now getting caught up in it two days after they got what they wanted is kind of hilarious. Right, you guys have been pushing and pushing and pushing for it, and so far, what do we have. We've got a Democrat representative from virgin Islands who was texting with Epstein during the testimony of Michael Cohen. She was trying to get Trump and so she's texting with Epstein during the hearing, and he's feeding her questions. Steve Bannon I mentioned Steve Bannon apparently was offering like pr strategy for Epstein. This was in like twenty eighteen. Michael Wolf, Larry Summers. Excuse me, Larry Summers. He's in here too, Bill Gates. Right now, there isn't anything that I have seen so far that implicates anybody in actual criminal activity. See, but people are going to associate anybody that shows up in the emails as part of this illegal activity. I'm not doing that because I try to rely on the evidence. Here's a great idea. How about making an escape to a really special and secluded getaway in western North Carolina. Just a quick drive up the mountain and Cabins of Ashville is your connection. Whether you're celebrating an anniversary, a honeymoon, maybe you want to plan a memorable proposal, or get family and friends together for a big old reunion. Call or text eight two eight three six seven seventy sixty eight or check out all there is to offer at Cabins Offashville dot com and make memories that'll last a lifetime. So Dana has written again on the text line, if those who are in the emails didn't do anything, why worry about it. That's the same thing you're saying about illegals. If you did nothing wrong and you're legitimate, it should be okay. Well, I gave actually a whole list of potential problems. It's not just the emails that came from this fundraising, this Democrat fundraiser trying to line up a meeting with Hakim Jeffries. Do I think Hakim Jeffries knew about the outreach to Epstein? I do not. I do not At this point. There's no evidence to suggest that he knew that it's some other fundraising firm and they probably blasted out to all donors. And Epstein's on the Democrat donor list because he's donated lots of money to Democrats. Right where he did. He's dead now, so anyway, But there's the whole foreign policy stuff. If Epstein had his had a role in any of the foreign policy stuff doing off book things with covert agencies and operators like that could cause international crisis. So that stuff might be in the emails too. I don't know, but. That's that is a potential because Epstein had all these international connections and had a lot of money and moved a lot of money, and that's suspicious anyway. Then there's this suggestion from Jeff I think Trump wanted all of this to come out next year ahead of the midterms. That's possible. That's one theory. And this is seven oh four number oh This is dan Trump pulled a fast one and made the Democrats force the disclosure of this stuff, so Trump can't be accused of using the files to damage his political opponents. That's your seven dimensional chess argument that Trump is employing. That's possible as well. I don't know, however, here's how you could use some of this stuff from the Donald Trump's White House put out a statement. Where is democrats transparency on Epstein? Why aren't Democrats talking about the fact that Delegate Stacy Plaskett solicited and was given thirty thousand dollars from Epstein for the d Triple C after he was already a convicted sex offender, Or that she herself accepted maxed out donations from Epstein for her own campaign, or the fact that the wife of the former Democrat governor of the US Virgin Islands told Epstein quote, we would have a friend in Stacy if he made said donations, or the fact that Plaskett was literally texting Epstein during a committee hearing, or how about this? Why aren't Democrats talking about the fact that President Bill Clinton traveled on Epstein's aircraft twenty six times, or the fact that one of Epstein's Victims wrote that she saw Clinton on Epstein's island with two young women, or that Clinton's visit to the island was corroborated by one of his former top aides. Why aren't Democrats talking about the long relations and storied friendship that Larry Summers, ex Harvard President, Clinton Treasury secretary and prominent Democrat had with Epstein, who described himself as Summers's wingman. Or why aren't Democrats talking about the fact that Democrats so called journalist Katie Couric had dinner at Epstein's residence after he was already a convicted sex offender who had served jail time. She writes about this, by the way in her memoir, the guests at this meeting, at this dinner Prince Andrew, Chelsea Handler, and Woody Allen. Why are Democrats talking about the fact that Reed Hoffmann, billionaire Democrat mega donor, visited Epstein's pedophile island, attended a dinner with him, and even planned to stay at his New York mansion. Why aren't Democrats talking about the fact that the Democrat National Committee refused to return thirty two thousand dollars in donations from Epstein. Why aren't Democrats talking about the fact that Michael Wolfe, the author, encouraged Epstein to blackmail Donald Trump, insisting that the convicted pedophile could generate a quote debt from him. He concludes the press release, it's time for Democrats to answer for their long standing ties to Epstein. Then we can get back to what matters to the American people. See, that's the way that you would weaponize this sort of thing. Dana right, and Democrats have been trying to do this against Trump. That's why they put out the three selectively edited emails and tried to lie by redacting the victim that they were quoting Virginia Jeffree or Jeoffrey, who had already testified under oath that Donald Trump had nothing to do with any of this stuff, that she had no relationship with Trump, never saw him, and all that, didn't do anything wrong, But they tried to use an email that had her name and attributed something to her. They tried to smear Trump with that. That's how you would use the emails. Hope that helps all right, that'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening.
