Spanberger is an awful lying candidate (10-10-2025--Hour3)

This episode is presented by Create A Video – In her only debate performance last night in the race for Virginia Governor, Democrat Abigail Spanberger proved that she is an intellectually flabby and terrible liar. So did you happen to catch the Virginia governor's debate last night? Probably not. I didn't watch it either. I did not watch it. No, but I do have a couple of soundbites for you from the debate because this did not go well. This was all I. Mean, it was not quite a Katie Porter level of dumbness shot. Yeah, did it Not quite that bad, but pretty bad nonetheless for Abigail Spanberger. So let me start. So she is the I think she's actually a congress member, and I think she was a former CIA employee, an analyst maybe or something. But she's running for governor. I like, I have not seen more than about I don't know two total minutes of her public speaking I played a clip. I think I played a clip. It may have been in my livestream, I forget, but it was her saying to a crowd to you know, channel their rage, give in to their rage. And this was like, I don't know, a couple of weeks ago, so like after the murder of Charlie Kirk. So she was you know, whipping up her crowd as it were, there was like seven people there, but still that's what she was trying to, you know, harness in order to motivate Democrats to go out and vote for her for governor. Now she is running against the current lieutenant governor when some Earl Sears and so they had their only debate last night, which I understand now why Abigail Spanburger refused to have more than one debate with Winsome Earl Sears, because span Burger comes across. What's the word for it, not good? Okay, just not good. She comes across badly. She is wooden and stiff. She just sticks to talking points. She doesn't seem to have any kind of deep understanding of issues that I saw. And so the criticism of Lieutenant Governor wins Earl Sears is that she interrupted too much, that she was being rude. She was constantly interrupting Abigail Spanberger. And okay, fair enough, you'll hear her. She does, though, she interrupts Spanburger. But if that's all you've got, then I don't know why you think your candidate came away with a victory in this debate last night. So, for example, I believe so I have two clips of Spanberger. This is the first one. Now you may recall there is a fella who's also running for a statewide office in Virginia. His name is Jay Jones. He is the Democrat nominee for Attorney General in Virginia. And up there in Virginia, they run as a slate. Okay, So like she endorsed him and he would be her attorney general, like that kind of deal. And so she endorsed him. And so this question is now being asked of her. Do you stand by this endorsement? Why? Because it has now come out that Jay Jones has had some pretty terrible things to say about murdering Republicans, namely that he would like to do so, yeah, and murder their children in front of the parents. He would like to do that as well. Oh, he also there's another there was another story that dropped where he was saying that they need to start murdering cops too, so the cops will behave better So he is of the opinion, this Attorney general candidate is of the opinion that the way to effectuate change in policy is to hurt people and then they will go along with what you want them to do. Right, So, if you want police to not be engaging in police brutality, then he says, you should shoot some of them. We need to murder some of these cops, so therefore they'll now not engage in the brutality. If you want Republicans to go along with you, you're trying to change their mind on something, well, the answer there is to murder them and or murder their young children ages like two and five in front of their mom, and then that would get them to change their minds and go along with you. And of course that is in fact the definition of terrorism. That's what terrorism is. It's when you target innocent people for doing nothing, but you target them with violence in order to effectuate change at a policy or governmental level. So that's what he was advocating for in these various conversations that he has had over the years, and all of this has been reported now and Democrats are in a sticky position here because the early voting is already underway and there's already like hundreds of thousands of votes already cast. So he can't walk away because if he steps down, they don't have a candidate. There's nobody there on the ballot for them, so they can't they can't swap them out for somebody. So she's asked, do you stand by this endorsement. Focusing on a K through twelve school system? Should Oh, hang on, that's the wrong clip. Here's the right clip. Thank you, Ms. Vamberger. I just I didn't hear an answer there on the endorsement issue, so I want to just make sure will you continue to endorse Jay Jones to be the next Attorney General of Virginia? And were you aware of these text messages before the released you have thirty seconds. In fact, it appears that it was those who released the text messages and held them for years, so the public was unaware who had knowledge of these text messages? For many of us, you do. These text messages the day that they came out, and I denounced them as soon as I. Learned of. Importantly, at this point, as we move forward, the voters now have this information, information that was withheld for them. You're running, presumably. For polit affairs reasons, but the voters now have the information and it is up to voters to make an individual choice based on this information. Miss Memory. I understand what you're saying about the voters, But for you yourself, do you still continue to endorse Jay Jones? Fifteen seconds Yes or no? We are all running our individual races. I believe my opponent has said that about her Lieutenant governor nominee. It's and it's up. Every person to make their own decision. I am running my race to serve Virginia and that is what I intend to do. Thank you, missus Spamberger. We just want to clarify. You know what you're saying is that as of now, you still endorse Jay Jones as attorney General. I'm saying, as of now, it's up to every voter to make their own individual decision. I am running for governor. I am accountable for the words that I say, for the acts that I take, for the policies that I have put out. Thank you, I am responsible for the policies I put out and the work I will endeavor to do tirelessly for the people Virginia. Thank you, miss Spamberger. So here's a question. Are you responsible for your endorsement? You say that you're responsible for what you say, for the policies that you will enact, that you plan to do, your actions. You're not responsible for anybody else. Yeah, but you're the one endorsing him, and she cannot bring herself to say it. She cannot bring herself to say it. So here's another way you could have asked that question instead of like after it became obvious that she had these canned answers. Another way to have followed up with this would have been are you going to vote for him? Would you vote for J? Jones? Will you vote for J Jones? Does he get your vote? After all of this has come out, because she said I denounced the messages, right, she said she denounced the messages. By the way, this from town hall dot com. An internal poll from the Jones campaign had a disturbing crosstab, which is some of the data in the back of the polling. While forty four percent now view him unfavorably. After his murderous texts were revealed, twelve percent of voters now view him more favorably. Since the release of the text, twelve percent have a more favorable view of him because he advocated the murdering of Republicans and their children. Democrats, you have a problem, and what you just heard with Spanberger, I keep saying it is the construction of permission structures. That's what she just did, refusing to say this guy shouldn't be in public office, especially as an attorney general. After saying that stuff, she couldn't even bring herself to do it because she's worried about the political power that is a permission structure. You know, stories are powerful. Visit creative video dot Com. From the WBT text line, here's John from New Jersey who says Abigail's Spanburger makes Hillary Clinton sound like an eloquent thespian. She's like as unlikable and she just has this demeanor to her that's like, and I hate this term, but I'm gonna use it. Karen's she just she just reeks of Karen, you know, like that that negative stereotype. Ugh. Yeah, I'm not saying she's like full Katie Porter or anything. Shot. Yeah, now, she's she's not that bad, but she's pretty bad. So she refuses to rescind her endorsement of Jay Jones, who, by the way, put this under the heading of couldn't happen to a nicer guy? The Democratic nominee for Attorney General in Virginia has now had to cancel fundraisers because of all of the scandal about the text messages coming out where he's advocating the murdering of Republicans and Republican children. So that was the Spanbury, a clip that is making the rounds today not so good for her. And then there was this it was about boys and men being in women's spaces. You may have. Heard that Virginia has had some issues with this sort of thing, these policies and in the school districts. In fact, there was a guy that was just arrested and charged for you know, claiming to be a woman and then like going and stalking young girls at their swim clubs in what Louding County, I think in Arlington County as well, liked had their team schedule. You know that he would use to to go visit these sites and then he would gain access to the locker rooms and changing rooms. He exposed himself. He's been arrested. But remember there was one county that was like uber progressive, and so they never they never charged him, They let him go, and that allowed him to reoffend in the different counties. So yeah, Virginia has a bit of a history of problems with this sort of thing, and so they were asked about it in this debate last night between Abigail Spenberger, the Democrat, and Lieutenant Governor Winston Earl Sears, the Republican candidate. Focusing on a K through twelve school system. Should transgender girls who are biological males be allowed to use girls' bathrooms and play on girls' sports teams? You have sixty seconds. I'm a mother of three daughters in Virginia public schools, and nothing is more important to me than their safety and their experience in schools. I'm also a former federal agent, and I work to investigate crimes against children, and so nothing is more important to me than the safety. Of all of our children. And that work, in part, has earned me the endorsement of Virginia's police. Benevolent associational talking pin issues. Related to what's happening in our schools in each individual community, I think it's important that we have parents and teachers and administrators making decisions about their individual schools, not politicians, and if we are talking about the safety of. Okay, hang on a second, the people who run the school districts are politicians too. I'm not sure she's aware of that, but they are elected to the school board. They're politicians as well our children. I would ask why my opponent continues to support efforts to defund public safety, an effort carried on continually by this dispoundation. Once again, the question was should transgender girls who are biological males be allowed to use girls' bathrooms and play on girls sports teams in K through twelve? You have fifteen seconds to. Clarify in cases across Virginia. I think it's incumbent upon parents and educators and administrators in each local community to make decisions locally. That's what this is about. There should never be in rooms. We finally have her saying that, but you voted for that. Now this is Miss Spanberger's time. Have a follow up question for Ms Spanberger. Would you rescind the Young and Administration policy requiring boys and girls to use bathrooms aligning with their biological sex. You have thirty seconds. My priority would be to ensure that local communities. Importantly, parents and teachers, educators are able to work together to meet the unique needs of each school in each community girls. And that is important. And I say that as a mother of three daughters in Virginia public schools and as someone who used to investigate crimes against children. The way that we keep our children safe is by ensuring they are safe in schools, which includes funding, law enforcement and public safety. But Missus Vamberger, the question was should the young Would you rescind the youngin administration policy requiring boys and girls to use bathrooms aligning with their biological sex. You have fifteen seconds to clarify that question. Yes, And my answer is that in each local community, decisions should be made between parents and educators and teachers in each community. It shouldn't be dictated viral collegoricians. Please don't interrupt. We're coming to you next. Okay, okay, yeah, yes or no questions. And she can't answer it because we know what her answer would be and she doesn't want to say, which is she will rescind the youngkin orders. She will absolutely do that. But note I keep saying this same thing with that interview yesterday with Katie Porter, out of my shot right, same thing, intellectually flabby. They are not used to the kudos to these reporters, these TV guys that were moderating the debate, that we're asking the questions. They kept asking the question because she wasn't answering it, And the more they asked the same question, the more she couldn't answer it, the more obvious it became that she is lying. Sanctis dsanctus mar with National Review. She writes on the Twitter machine about that debate last night, what's going on in Virginia with dangerous public school bathroom policies, and then the vile Jay Jones comment is a great illustration of why early voting is a terrible idea. Right, all of those people that banked their votes, that voted early before the debate and before the release of these text messages, right before they knew how terrible these candidates were they've already voted, and they may have some remorse now. Zito, Sorry, Selena Zito, she writes for The Washington Examiner. Also Washington Post columnist Spanberger, for her part, either tried to keep talking or simply stood silent, sometimes smirking, and refused to respond until near the end of the one hour event as winsome Earl Sears peppered her with questions and accusations, causing periods of uncomfortable silence, while Earl Sears leaned towards her waiting for an answer, and Spanberger stared straight ahead. Saw some of this. Obviously, I can't play it on the radio because it's just it's just her staring straight ahead, refusing to make eye contact, not engaging at all. Just very weird, very uncomfortable. Awkword, Robert, Welcome to the program, Hello Robert. Good afternoon, Pete. I heard you mentioned that you did not watch much of that debate. That makes you a I already knew you were wise, but that just reinforces the fact that you're wise. You'd really, you'd really have to be a political junkie to watch that debate, and of course, uh, in my case, I watched almost all of it. Ah, so are you still By the way, so did you like, did you jam? Did you jam any foreign objects into your eyeballs last night? No? Okay, well that's good. But by the way, by the way, I did not. I did not seek it out. I got so tired of the the Democrats wringing their hands about the Letitia James indictment that I just every once in a while I'll flip up to C Span, and they just happened to have it. And I love watching debates, and so I started watching it. I watched it from the beginning, and uh, and it was. It was very it was very awkward, very difficult to watch. Abigail Spamberger was yes, she was indignant. She was, as you said, obviously she did not want to answer these yes or no questions. And as as you also said, Pete, the last point you made in the last segment, those anchors, those local news anchors did a great job of asking that. They asked yes or no questions three times and once they could not once they could not get an answer, they moved on. But they were persistent in a respectful way. Yeah, And I thought I thought I thought they were excellent moderators. Yeah, I agree, Robert, I appreciate the call man, thank you have great weekend. Yeah, Like so much of that is just asking the question and then when and then recognizing in real time that they are that the candidate is not responding, they're not answering the question, and then to ask it again, and if they persist in not answering the question, they look worse every time you ask the question. And that's not the moderator's intention. You're not trying to make them look bad. They're making themselves look bad. Yeah. Just it was not a good performance at all. And she is not a good candidate. She's like some people just have it, you know, and some people don't. And you know, say what you want about the uh uh jihati adjacent kami up in New York, but uh, you know Zorn the magnificent up there. He is a good candidate. He's personable, he's likable, he smiles a lot, even when he's saying globalize the Antifada stuff like that. I mean, and you know, he connects to people. That stuff matters. That kind of personality matters. Same thing with a Kazuo Cortes, same thing. The good candidate. I disagree with her on everything. She doesn't seem to be very bright, but good candidate. People enjoy her So Abigail Spanberger, No, No, she comes across as that teacher in middle school that nobody likes. That's what she struck me as so. When I was a kid, my grandpa died with Alzheimer's, and before he died, my mom and my dad took care of him as he got worse. Forty years ago, there were no treatments and not much support for caregivers and family. But things are different today because of the work of so many people, including the Alzheimer's Association of Western Carolina. It's a great organization with awesome people with huge hearts. So the Nobel Peace Prize Committee yes today announced that it has awarded the Nobel Peace Prize to Venezuela. Sorry, Venezuela peace activist named Maria Corina Machado. Yes, I have never heard of her. And so a lot of people were very upset that it didn't go to Donald Trump. Well, there's extenuating circumstances. I agree, namely that apparently they make the selections very early in the year. Right, January thirty first, Right, so. This is like actually Nobel Peace Prize from twenty twenty four. There we go, right, So that's good. Maybe you should bill it as the twenty twenty four Nobel Peace Prize. Yeah, you know, maybe that would alleviate some of this confusion, right, because a lot of people had the same confusion when Barack Obama got the Nobel Peace. Did he you know he did? They gave it to him? Yeah, did it? Did it? Did? Because he won? And it took them all of eleven days he was, yeah, eleven days in office and they gave it to him. Oh, because that's right, because he would have been eligible for that number right there in the thirty first of January. Okay, and then he proceeded to drone strike like people all over the country, all over the world. Did he did he? Really? Yeah? No? And we know this for sure. Yeah. Yeah. Remember he also, uh he flew the black Hawk helicopter on the raid to kill Ben Lauden. Uh he said it to Yeah. Yeah, he flew the chopper and then he set it on autopilot above the compound. He then repelled down the line with a knife in his teeth and went through and murdered everybody in the building and then gave the ceremonial burial at sea to Yeah. No, he said he got him. He did, he got him. We got him, Yeah, we got him. And he talked about I I I. Yes, in a lot of eyes he does. He does big big eyes, a lot of big eyes. Yes, absolutely, so the kicker on this story, Yes, on the Nobel Peace Prize story. Have you heard this about what she said? Have you heard what Maria Corrina Machado? But I said, I'm very impressed with her though, oh yeah yeah, like I'm not minimized it, Like I'm like, you're a freedom fighter, a peace act VI in Venezuelan. She's going to be the next person after we greet, after we Greece, you know whoever? Maduro Maduro. So okay, So she put out a tweet the recognition of the struggle of all Venezuelans is a boost to conclude our task to conquer freedom. Yes, I think there may be a little bit of lost in translation. I don't think you're trying to conquer freedom. I think what she means is freedom will conquer. Yeah, that's good, you know, I mean sure, sure, sure. And then she says, yes, we are on the threshold of victory. And today, more than ever, we count on President Trump, the people of the United States, the peoples of Latin America, and the democratic nations of the world has our principal allies to achieve freedom and democracy. Fantastic, And then she says, quote, I dedicate this prize to the suffering people of Venezuela and to President Trump for his decisive support for our cause. Out that's fantastic, Like that's that's an operator. She knows what for. Real, Like here you have the Nobel Peace Committee and they're like, we're not giving it to that orange hitler. We're not doing that, Like, no, we're gonna give it to this Venezuelan peace activist. Ha ha, in your face, Donald Trump. And then she turns around and dedicates it to him like this, I think it actually worked out better for him. This is great, Yeah, this is what it should be. And then Shelby Talcott do you know that? Yes? Do you really? Yes? I don't believe you. Who is she? She's an activist? She well, yeah, she's White House correspondent for Semaphore. So yeah, she says, I'm told President Trump called Maria Corrina Machado to congratulate her on winning the Nobel Peace Prize. Machado dedicated the award to the Venezuelan people and to Trump. Yeah, so Trump called her today too. This is this is there's no downside to this at all. That's the that's the So what she is. She's the opening act for Donald Trump's world tour and then Nobel Prize. Could you imagine if she is successful, if we see the Kami regime fall in Venezuela. I think it's while Trump is president, guaranteed. No, that is it is just all it's absolutely going to happen. It is absolutely going to well, I mean I'm gonna give it. I'm gonna give it eight months. Wow, and it's and it's done. So I don't make predictions, as you know. Yeah, I do it all time, all and I'm wrong, but. So, but that's a good bet, just without the time. Like, yeah, you say eight months, but I would wager, I would predict that. Yes, the Venezuelan communist regime will fall, of course, because it's communist, absolutely, and they all fall. They're right, And eight months, eight months is a perfect number because that'll be eight months from now, will be. June, June, June. Revolutions are the best. Revolution get summer, You get the summer out there out in the street, absolutely with. The flags and yelling and the screaming and Trump. I think Trump will speed it up now. I think it'll be like listen. I'll hup you out. Let's get him. Yeah, you get him out of here. And then maybe he wins the Nobel Peace Prize next year for his work this year. That's very true. That could happen. Yeah, any absolutely, all right. That'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening.
