All right, so last hour, we went over some of the highlights from the debate. down in South Carolina between Darlene Graham, the Republican, Annie Andrews, the Democrat, and Casey Whitener, the Libertarian. According to Decision Desk HQ, they forecast a 70% probability that Darlene Graham wins this seat next month. And I think South Carolina is a solid red state, so that tracks. Now, they did go over a bunch of different topics. I'm going to circle back to the texts as well. They talked about the Russian oil or diesel deal that Trump did. They talked about the debt, right? They talked about health care. They talked about data centers like Annie Andrews, the Democrat. She proposed a federal two year data center moratorium, which is stupid. That's just stupid. Okay. If a local community, like if a local community wants to do a moratorium, that's up, that should be up to the local community, right? There's like the federal government doesn't come in and tell any local governments, you can't, approve any zonings for, you know, a steel mill, right? Or like a solar panel manufacturer. Federal government doesn't do moratoria on certain types of development like this. This is absurd, okay? She called Darlene Graham data center Darlene. Boom. Roasted. And then Darlene Graham said, oh, you know, she's resorting to name-calling. And she said, I'm concerned about data centers too. Local community involvement on how and whether to build is the key, though. And she's right about that. These are local decisions. She said she sponsored the Ratepayer Protection Act and pointed out that we should not give communist China a two-year advantage in In the AI race, this would be dangerous. And I agree. I absolutely agree. You do not do a federal moratorium. New York state did a moratorium. New York state is stupid. So that's on brand, right? So, okay. If you want to build data centers, then go someplace else. The libertarian Casey Whitener. She also agreed. This is a local issue. Local jurisdictions do not need the federal government telling them how to do these things. Okay. Those decisions should be made at the local level. Then they got into immigration. Let me go ahead and play this clip because, um, Darlene Graham, I keep wanting to call her Lindsay Graham, Darlene Graham. Um, She points out that she's probably a little tougher on this issue than her brother, Lindsey Graham, was. Yes, we do need to do something about immigration. Hang on a second. Let me re-rack this because this is first the libertarian Casey Whitener. Yes, we do need to do something about immigration. And neither of the major parties wants to because then they wouldn't be able to campaign on it and fundraise on it. So here's what we need to do. We need to be very specific about our immigration policy. It needs to be based in sound economic principles that help American citizens feel good about the fact that immigrants are coming in to contribute to our society and not to cause harm and not. To live off of the public dollar. If we have good laws, we'll have good law enforcement. The immigration problem is a problem, but it's being perpetuated by people who have no intention of governing. All they want to do is campaign. Let's be clear about that piece. But yes, I do think we need immigration reform. And I do think we need better law enforcement. But that comes from better laws. You said be specific. Let's talk about residents being registered, coming in in a decentralized way, saying, hey, I'm here. Let me register as a resident. And then let's follow them through a progression so that they can eventually become citizens. If they don't want to become citizens, that's OK, too. But let's just know who they are from beginning to end. Thank you. All right. So this is why I know I'm not a libertarian. Their immigration policies are, to me, insane. And while I thought all of her other answers were good, this is where she loses me. It's like, so you just want to treat America like an economic zone. It's like anybody can just come in, be like, hey, I'm here. Let me sign the guest book. I don't want to be a citizen, though. I just want to stay here and work. And that's it. Like, yeah, no, that's not cool for me. Like if we're going to be allowing people to come in and putting them on, you know, the pathway to citizenship. Yeah, I think more is required. But again, like that's that's the libertarian philosophy here at play. So I get it. Senator Graham, same question. Be specific about what policies. And also, do you believe that that includes changes to ICE? Immigration is clear for me. I'm probably a little bit tougher than my brother was on this. The key word being illegal. If you're here illegally, you need to go. I'm all for border protection. I'm for funding ICE. I think ICE is doing a great job because under Biden and Kamala Harris, they opened our borders and let 12 million illegal immigrants into our country. Drug dealers, rapists, criminals. I co-sponsored the In the Sanctuary Cities Act because they're all going to these cities causing problems. And I admire the men and women of. ICE who are helping enforce the laws to get these criminals off the streets. My Democratic opponent helped Kamala Harris raise $ 11 million for president. She is for amnesty for illegals. She's for health care funded for illegals, free health care for illegals. This is going to increase the national debt, send it through the roof. Again, I'm for border security. Thank you, Senator Graham. Dr. Andrews, 30 seconds on top of your. So I agree that both parties have failed on immigration and as someone on the outside of politics, I was also disgusted to watch both parties use this as a political football every election season. And Democrats have failed on the border. We need a secure border to be a secure nation. Wow. What? I don't even know what to say about that. A Democrat admitting that Democrats have failed on the border? In a debate? Gosh, it's almost like there's a reputation that Democrats have acquired that this candidate is trying to distance herself from. Yeah. Interesting. Okay, so what are you going to do? What do you support? Democrats have failed. By letting in the millions and millions and millions and millions and millions of people. But okay, what are you going to do about it? And we also need to deport illegal immigrants who break the law. Immigration law? Or other law? Is it just like the violent ones? I feel like I'm going to need some clarity because when you say we should deport the people who broke the law, if you're talking only about the criminals, people who engage in criminal activity, but not the people who engaged... in the breaking of immigration law to first come into the country, you want to give them a path to citizenship. You want to give them amnesty or something. So I need you to clarify this. Let's see. Can do those two things while still respecting the human dignity and due process of everyone who is here right now. I believe that ICE needs to enforce our immigration laws, but they need to do that by focusing on dangerous criminals, traffickers, and fentanyl, and they need to respect due process. ICE agents that are masked with no ID on them, patrolling around hospitals and schools has nothing to do with what this country was founded on. Both things can be true. This is a complex issue, which is yet another reason why I think it's so important that this is not the only debate that we have between now and November 3rd. I have agreed to three additional debates. And again, I'm going to reissue the challenge to Senator Graham. that she shows up on a debate stage and debates me again before this election on November 3rd for a six year term in the U S Senate. All right. She made that pitch a couple of times. She's, she's wanting more debates and this is the only scheduled debate. So this was it. You can tell by her answer there that when she says we need to deport those who broke the law, she's talking only about the violent criminal illegal aliens. That's what she's talking about. Cause then she starts with the same line about, Oh, ice is out of the, other places. And that's not what our country is about. So in other words, if you violated the law to come into the country illegally, you get a free pass. Your, your first offense is free. We're not going to, we're not going to enforce that one. But if you like, you like, kill some people once you get here. Okay. Now we're going to, now we want to probably deport you for that. Unless of course you're in like a blue jurisdiction where we need a, you know, like the population count higher so we can get more congressional seats. Then we may keep you around there too. So no promises on that. If you're in a sanctuary city or state, Oh, well can't deport you, I guess. Yeah. I don't trust this woman at all. She sounds like she's going to be a rubber stamp for, uh, the far left Democrat leadership in the Senate. That's what it sounds like to me. Holly says, I will not vote for Annie Andrews, the Democrat, because I don't want to be mothered. They do have that. They do have that effect. Do they not? Yeah. 704 numbers says, just my two cents on the debates. Is it really worth two cents anymore? I feel like we're not even making pennies anymore, are we? I feel like it should now be like a nickel's worth for inflation purposes, you know? Anyway, my two cents on the debates. To me, they might be a good discussion point for talk shows like yourself, and I'm good with that. I like what you talk about. However, concerning the debates, they are useless to me. I don't care how well-spoken one candidate is for the other to me. I already know who I'm going to vote for, and that's the Republican. Wow, that independent may be well-spoken and very good. I think that is just a vote for a Democrat. Look, I have had this argument with people for 25 years. A vote for a Libertarian is not a vote for a Democrat, any more so than it's a vote for a Republican. It's not a vote for either of them, actually. But I understand because you're coming from a position that had the libertarian not been in the race, you believe that the voter would be more likely to have voted for the Republican than the Democrat. Right. So that's that's at the heart of that argument. There is an assumption that if the libertarian is not in the race, then the libertarian voter is going to vote for the Republican. But that is not always true. There are libertarians that will not vote or they will vote for the Democrat. They're kind of all over the place. All right, back to this text. I think it's just, okay, I read that part. So you either vote for a Republican or a leftist. And to me, this Democrat pediatrician is a hypocrite that supports the left wing and socialist ideas along with abortion and transgender surgeries for kids and all of those things. So for me, I don't need to listen to the bait It's good versus evil to me, just saying. Well, yeah, but these are the candidates that the Democrats are running in these red states in order to trick you. Like, that's the point. Roy Cooper, same deal, right? They're lying to you. They're saying, I'm a moderate. But you look at, like, Roy Cooper's history, there isn't a single leftist issue that has come down the pike that he hasn't signed on to. Tim G says the libertarians correct about almost everything she says, but those things will never happen because the government isn't going to remove itself from anything. The government runs everything. It always will. Steve, you probably won't share this. I love when people tell me what I'm going to do before I did. Okay. You know what? I won't, I haven't even read your text yet, but if you tell me, that you don't think I'll share it. I don't want to prove you a liar, right? So I guess I shouldn't share it or something. I just remove this as a precursor to your text. Just send the text, you know, don't tell me how you think I'm going to handle it. Um, the problem we have with social security is that we have slaughtered 80 million American babies since the Democrats passed Roe v. Wade. That's the bottom line truth. Why social security is bankrupt. That is not a unique position, Steve. I have read texts like that before. Christine says, it would be nice to have a debate between those running for senator in North Carolina. I would love to hear how libertarian Shannon Bray stands up against Cooper and Whatley. Yeah, I would love for there to be many debates. I want more debates. I want these people to be tested. I want them tested in the primaries. I want them tested in the general. Um, Paul, to be honest with you, the libertarian candidate commentary on immigration was a whole lot more specific and clear and actually nothing wrong with that. I don't think every person who comes here has to become a citizen. However, we do have to know who they are and where they are and why they're here. As it pertains to what Lindsay's sister said, it's the same old garbage talking points. The Republicans use every time. Most of it. I don't even think it's actually accurate. Um, so yeah, the issue with the libertarian position on immigration here for me is that they don't want there to be a limit. They treat America like an economic zone. Anybody can come into work. And what that does though, when you have that kind of inflow of people, it means more competition for the jobs, right? That's, that's the issue. Um, Joe says that Democrats sounded like Chuck Schumer in the early 90s. Old videos are still around when he sounded like that. It's true. Yeah. Democrats have gone way left on immigration in the last 15 years. Even Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, they were saying the things that people on the Republican side now like Democrats were saying those same things. In my lifetime, like two election cycles, two presidents ago, you know? All right, real quick. Every government number gets revised, right? Every projection gets walked back. Gold does not file corrections like GovCo. Revelation Gold Group helps families hold physical gold and silver, including in a tax-advantaged gold IRA. It's real. It's in your name. Or if you want to talk to somebody, you can call 888-465-3049. All right. I did have a couple more texts to get to. Timoteo says, I did not watch the debate. Don't really care what either of them said. It all comes down to giving another vote to the Senate or in the Senate. to the party of Islamo-communism or a vote to continue the agenda I voted for in 2024. That's it. Yeah, and this has been an explicit pitch that Trump has made, right? You voted for him for a four-year term. In order for him to get everything that he wants to get done, done, then he needs Republicans to maintain control in the Congress. Or... You could be mad about the high gas prices and put people in charge that want to trans the kids again and open the borders. I mean, that's a choice, I guess. Jeff says, stop giving liberals any press. We need to vote red so we can get our $ 5, 000 check. Yeah, I'm not a fan of that idea. Steve says, how about all caps? Congress has been stealing billions from social security for decades. yes it's a Ponzi scheme Alan says you probably won't share this but you're doing a great job and should go national send check to following address that is a message for Vince okay So just before the program began, federal agents apparently searched the home of Democrat U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar. She represents Somalia in the Congress. She is a frequent, this is the Associated Press report, by the way, Ilhan Omar, a frequent target of Trump administration criticism. Not mentioned is that Trump is a frequent target of Ilhan Omar and her criticism. Goes both ways there, Associated Press. This is apparently, according to the AP, part of a criminal investigation. The search was conducted by Homeland Security Investigations agents. Um. More details about the investigation not immediately clear. Though Vice President J.D. Vance has in the past accused Omar of committing immigration fraud, an allegation she has denied and has said he and a top White House official were trying to figure out how to investigate the Minnesota congresswoman. I love when the legacy media outlets finally get around to reporting on a story that we are all aware of and have been aware of for years. Like we, yeah, we know what this is all about. We've seen the timeline there. There has been reporting on this just because nobody at the associated press has ever dug into the allegations. Doesn't mean that this is all like out of nowhere. There have been reporters. There have been, uh, conservative outlets, independent journalists as well, that have been documenting the, shall we call it, sus nature, the suspicious nature of how Ilhan Omar became a naturalized citizen. And did she help her brother through a sham marriage? This has been known. People on the right have been calling for this to be investigated for literally years. Because it doesn't add up. The timeline does not make sense. There are social media posts and photos from family gatherings and such where the guy that she claims to because she got married to some guy then divorced and married this other person that apparently was her brother got him citizenship then divorced him and then I believe got back with the original guy. Except it's probably not a deal where it was like she actually stopped being married to the first husband. She probably just did like a sham divorce or something in order to get the sham marriage to get the brother naturalized. And then once he got citizenship, then she divorces him and marries again, the husband, I believe like that's, that's basically the timeline. Okay. So people have some questions. We're just asking questions. The Justice Department said in a statement that HSI agents executed a judicially authorized search warrant, and that's part of an ongoing federal criminal investigation. Republicans have raised questions about Omar's past since before she was even elected, including asserting that she had married her brother and committed immigration fraud. Yes, Republicans have been raising these questions and you have been ignoring them. Omar has broadly denied the allegations as disgusting lies. In a separate interview with conservative podcaster Benny Johnson, J.D. Vance said, without offering evidence, that we actually think Ilhan Omar definitely committed immigration fraud against the United States. That's the thing, though. There is evidence. That's why people believe this. It hasn't been proven, but there is evidence to suggest that this did occur. That's why people want an investigation. Yes, they want an investigation because there is evidence that leads us to believe she did this thing. And then they have this quote from Ilhan Omar's office. which dismissed J.D. Vance's claims as fabricated and defamatory, although she never sued for defamation. This was back in March, where Omar's chief of staff, Connor McNutt. What is with these Dickensian names? Like, seriously. I mean, okay. This is rich, coming from someone who literally said they were willing to create stories to redirect the media. McNutt said, quote, this is a ridiculous lie and desperate attempt to distract from the pedophile protection party's unpopular war of choice, increasing gas prices and rapidly dropping polling numbers. Okay, so hang on a second. So Associated Press, when you quote J.D. Vance's comment, you say Vance said without offering evidence that, quote, we think Omar committed immigration fraud. But when Omar's chief of staff calls the Republican Party the pedophile protection party. You don't give any kind of the qualification there, like without evidence or something. Why is that? I know the answer. Rhetorical question. According to the Washington Post, the... The name of the investigation into Ilhan Omar, do you know what it's called? It's called World War XI. That is classic. Just hat tip to you guys, whoever. And then I see some people on the left and they're complaining, oh, they didn't used to do this sort of thing so close to an election. Uh, true. Uh, then you guys blew up that norm. So again, I, we were pointing this out to you when you were going after Trump so hard and heavy all these years that you guys are blowing up all of these norms and you're not going to like it when everybody plays by your rules. And here we are, here we are. So operation world war 11 targeting Ilhan Omar. Cause she's the one, she read a speech. Remember she was reading a speech. or comments or something, and it was from a script, and so World War II was what it said, but the two was the Roman numeral two, so she read it as World War XI, which, unless she knows something that, like, nobody else does, I don't know. Then there's this from the New York Post. New York, the state, blew off 16,000 Trump administration ICE orders to detain suspected heinous illegal migrants accused or convicted in more than 50,000 criminal charges. The Department of Homeland Security said municipalities across the Democrat state have refused to comply with its detainer requests a total of 16,070 times. since Trump re-entered office less than two years ago. So these are the ICE detainer requests, and the state of New York, throughout all of its jurisdictions, they've refused to recognize or cooperate with the ICE detainer requests more than 16,000 times in less than two years. Refusing to hand over criminal illegal aliens, suspected or convicted of everything from murder to kidnapping and sexual assault. Now, New York State allows local governments to set their own policies on this. This is why you have all of these sanctuary jurisdictions, because you put Democrats in charge of a city or a county or something, and they're going to implement this sanctuary approach. the governor signed a bill. It was called the local cops, local crimes act, which sounds kind of good. I guess. I don't know. Like it's one of those things that local cops, local crimes. Okay. But what does it do? What did it do? It imposed restrictions on certain kinds of statewide cooperation with ICE on immigration matters. Local cops, local crimes. See, so these are local crimes. They're not immigration enforcement actions. So we don't need to tell the feds. This is nullification, folks. This is why I've been saying this for years. This is nullification. This is what literally the Civil War was fought over, okay? When you have local jurisdictions, be they cities, counties, or states, and they are nullifying federal law. That's what they are doing. Back to the Post story. There were 52,503 criminal charges or convictions associated with the ICE detainers and the municipalities across the Empire State have rejected so far under Donald Trump. Crimes allegedly committed include 131 homicides, 132 kidnappings, more than 1,000 sexual offenses, more than 1,500 counts of DUI, more than 1,600 burglaries, almost 1,800 robberies, and over 2,100 weapons infractions. The alleged crimes against the migrants also included more than 9,500 assaults and 4,300 counts related to dangerous drugs. According to the spokeswoman for the governor, Alexia Nishny, quote, Governor Hochul has been clear. New York State is not and never will be a sanctuary for violent criminals, she says. By law, the spokesperson says, New York State always notifies federal immigration enforcement of any non-citizen serving a state prison sentence. You see what she did there? A state prison sentence. Serving a state prison. So you get arrested, we're not going to tell you. You get arrested, that's up to the local cops, the local jail. But after you've been convicted, then we'll notify ICE after that point. Any assertion otherwise is a blatant mischaracterization of the facts meant to distract from the cruelty and violence we saw from Secretary Mullen's ICE agents earlier this week. What's she talking about? She's talking about the shooting of one Oscar Belgao in the Bronx. Okay? And They were like, oh, they shot this poor guy, even though apparently he tried to accelerate into ICE officers. Yet another example of this. And he had a five-year-old in the car. Well, then probably don't accelerate towards ICE officers. But also, after Zoran Mamdani came out in support of this New York father and all of that, turns out the guy is well-known for threatening and harassing his neighbor's um, at his previous address with a machete running around with a machete and also ties to a gang from Dominican Republic. So yeah, just a New York dad. All right. That'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening.
