Before I get to the House Oversight Committee report, let me just clear out a couple of these Twitter messages from the last well last two hours. Is going over the shutdown and the impact on the food stamp budget and how people who are on food stamps are now at risk of not getting their food stamps. This tweet from app patriot Girl who says the welfare state is designed to make people dependent so the Democrats can maintain power. They're willing to sacrifice their own peap for leverage. Indeed, that's why I called it the Hamas strategy. Democrats are fully employing Hamas's strategy here, using them as a human shield. If you will no wonder they align with Hamas, Yes, I will like that tweet, Communist America, says William Sarah says, sacrificing their own people. Melissa says, if Social Security is taxed, why isn't Snap taxed. That's a good question. Yeah, I'm not considered that before the first segment of the Second Hour today was one of the very best summary about this Democrat impasse regarding the passing of the Clean cr Your explanation needs to be repeated by every Republican and libertarian so everyone understands communism. That's from Dad. Thanks Dad. This is exactly why Lyndon Johnson passed the Great American Society Act in nineteen sixty eight. I see a couple of references to that, yet Lbj's Great Society. That was the point. You hook people onto the public dole and then their voters for life, and if you're not getting your way, you will then starve them in order to make people feel bad for them so you can get policy victories that you could not otherwise achieve. That's the Democrat strategy. It was the strategy of Hamas, still is the strategy of Hamas as well. That's why they are fully embracing Hamas. The Democrat Party fully embracing hamas so. The House Oversight Committee published its final report on its investigation into the use by the Biden administration of the auto pen, and I have read through the executive's summary of the report and they conclude that at least some of the President's orders were invalid and they're calling on the Justice Department to investigate. They took three months to go over the information, read through the emails, read through the reports, also to depose a bunch of people, some of whom took the fifth and refused to cooperate. James Comer, the chair of the Oversight Committee, conducted fourteen depositions and transcribed interviews with senior White House staff. Biden White House staff, including two chiefs of staff, his personal physician, along with senior advisors, the personal physician for the president, as well as the chief of staff for Jill Biden sorry sorry, doctor Jill Biden. They each invoked their Fifth Amendment right against self incrimination. The Oversight Committee concluded that senior Biden White House staff illegally exercised the President's authority on his behalf by directing the use of the auto pen, and failed to document the office's decision making processes. So that is, by the way, from Stephen Richards writing at justthnews dot com. That is the website started by John Solomon. So from the executive summary here, in case you have not had a chance nor intended to read it, I will give you portions of the executive summary. They've investigated. The committee has investigated the circumstances surrounding Joe Biden's diminishing mental and physical capabilities and the implications of that decline. And then they've got a little footnote on that sentence. Okay, it's the first sentence of the executive summary, and the footnote here reads and you'll forgive me here because it's very small. It's at the bottom of the page. During this investigation, Democratic members and staff have attempted to minimize or outrighte deny, and have attempted to cajole witnesses to minimize or outr deny what is now reported as fact President Biden is in mental decline. This report will not spend words grappling with whether a reported established fact is anything other than a fact and an obvious one. President Biden's cognitive decline was apparent to any person who watched him interact with the press, the public, or world leaders for years as president. Assertions made to the contrary are nothing less than gaslighting. Instead of debating the obvious and in so doing implicitly legitimizing voices that seek to rewrite history, this report will instead provide findings regarding the extent of President Biden's decline and the repercussions and ramifications of that reality. So when I first read that, I thought, I kind of feel like you should make the case. But upon further reflection, now I'm thinking, you just don't even concede, like, just don't even entertain it. So, like I can understand why we're not even going to argue with you on this. You want to argue that he wasn't in decline, and that just makes you look stupid. So we're not going to argue with you on this. We're going to talk about and look at the extent of the decline and the repercussions that it had. They go on to say in this summary. Even more troubling than the president experiencing a decline in mental acuity was President Biden's inner circle of loyalists attempting to mislead the nation to ignore what people's eyes plainly showed them. Throughout President Biden's term, people increasingly questioned if he was, or questioned if the slurring of words, mistaking of names, visible disorientation, confusion, and dependence on aids for basic direction, all of which the public witnessed live could indicate anything but the serious cogniti decline of President Biden. The Committee has investigated whether senior White House officials possibly exercised the authority of the former president or intentionally concealed Biden's rapidly worsening mental and physical state. The Committee has found evidence to indicate they did both. That they did both. They exercised the authority of the former president and intentionally concealed as decline. They did both. The Biden autopen presidency ranks among the greatest scandals in US history. I agree, but I also throw in there the media's complicitness complicity. Complicity. Yes, as President Biden declined, his staff abused the autopen, along with a lax chain of command policy, to affect executive actions that lack any documentation of whether they were in fact authorized. This is the trust us defense that the White House officials tried to make in their depositions, which is we didn't take any notes. We don't have any contemporaneous notes like right after the meeting with Biden, Like we didn't take notes during the meeting. We didn't take any notes after the meeting. No, no, no, we didn't do any of that. But you just have to trust us that by the time, like a month later, that we wrote down this stuff that we're not lying now and on stuff that we never wrote down. You have to believe us now that we're telling you the truth about what actually happened in that meeting that we did not take any notes on and we have no records of anymore. Just sorry about that. While President Biden became progressively less able to do his job, when every measure should have been taken a document and if ever questioned, prove that Biden had made these final decisions, Instead, the White House staff took shortcuts and ad hoc actions to keep the Biden presidency afloat right. And that's the key here too, is that when you know the president is in decline like this and it's getting harder and harder and harder for him to make decisions and such, you would think that you would take more efforts, right, you would make more of an effort to document these things to cover your took us. However, they went the opposite direction. They chose to just not document anything, like just do less and less, as if they had something to hide. You know, stories are powerful. I'm sorry, I'm oh, my goodness, see I'm looking at the text line and okay, Jean's text came through. Great show today, Pete, thank you, Gene. I'm sure it's just a coincidence that a nice text made it through and not a mean one. The executives here from the House Oversight Committee regarding the auto pen scandal, the committee found there was, in fact a cover up of the president's cognitive decline, and there's no record demonstrating President Biden himself made all of the executive decisions that have been attributed to him. That's the uh, that's the big takeaway. They say, these advisors continue to hold these beliefs today, denying that Biden's cognitive impairment was ever even a concern for voters. That's what they continue to say. They quote a whole bunch of these advisors like Ron Klain, Kate Bettingfield. And then there was this little nugat when asked directly on a podcast if President Biden had dementia. White House Press Secretary Carin Jean Pierre replied, quote, I can't even believe you are asking me this question, that that is an incredibly offensive question, then rejected the premise of the question and hung up, abruptly ending the interview after just one hundred and fifty seconds. And that was actually not a podcast. Now they may have heard it on a podcast. I don't know which podcast. It could have been mine because I played the audio, But it was originally audio that was captured by WBT news director Mark Garrison who got an interview with Corine Jean Pierre and asked her flat out and she said that does he have dementia? And then she says that's incredibly offensive and then and then ended the interview. So that made it that made it to the congressional hearing or a report. Rather central to this scheme was the former president's longtime physician, doctor Kevin O'Connor, who recklessly never conducted a cognitive exam of the president. Doctor O'Connor invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self incrimination when the committee asked if he was told to lie about Biden's health and whether Biden was fit to be president. The committee recommends that the district of Columbia Board of Medicine review the actions taken by doctor O'Connor for any potential wrongdoing, including whether he produced false or misleading medical reports to the American public. So sounds like they're going to try to make this or they're turning it over to the medical Board to try to take his license or enact some sort of sanction against this guy for what he did. Now, I doubt that'll happen because it's Washington, DC, and I suspect that there will be the same sort of bias infecting the Medical Board there that infects basically everything in Washington, d C. From juries to the bar so and I mean the the legal bar, not the pubs, because I think Republicans have like a bar that they go to. Doctor O'Connor, who had business dealings with and financial connections to the Biden family, is not the only participant in this scheme with an incentive to cover up the truth. Mike donnellan senior advisor to President Biden, was responsible for getting accurate polling data to the president, Which is kind of funny because I remember doing the story oh gosh, probably what three years ago, when I forget what publication did it. But the story was that the Biden camp was not giving Joe Biden the accurate data or accurate polling data. They were not showing him the polls that were bad for him, but any poll that came along, no matter how suspect the source was, they would show him that. And that's why he would get on stage or do like the like two interviews that he did during his entire administration. He would get on there and he would be like, my boy, say my god. And that was largely interpreted to mean that he thought his polling was fantastic and he was gonna win. I think he still believes it to this day that he was going to win, that he could have won, he should have won, but for some reason, they pushed him out and we may never know why. Because he had a cold. I think, right, he had a cold. Wasn't that the story? Or he was jet legged? Because it changed? Yeah, the story changed. I forget what. I forget what final version they went with on that why he was why he was so terrible during that debate performance that he was it was the pain meds or is the cold medicine? Or is he was jet legged? But that never really made sense because he had returned from overseas like ten days prior to the debate or something like that. So I'm not really sure why I thought that one would fly. But this guy, Mike Donaldan, his job was to get quote accurate polling to the president. Donalin told the committee that he stood to make a total of eight million dollars by keeping Biden in the presidential race and getting him re elected. And there is a video clip of this part of the deposition. I would play it, but it's it runs a little over two minutes, and about one minute and fifty seconds of it is dead air because he struggles to figure out a way to explain why he has no financial motive in keeping Biden on the ticket, and he just couldn't. He could not conjure up an explanation because there is none there, There isn't any There isn't any explanation other than like he's going to get He got four million dollars for his services, and if he got Biden to win again, he would get another four million. So he was invested. He had a financial incentive to ensure that Biden got on the got you know, renominated and re elected, which means what. You've got a four million dollar payout hanging out there while you're advising the president, and you see he's in mental decline. Do you think that that might, I don't know, cloud your judgment a little bit. You got four million dollars sitting there, and all you got to do is get this guy across the finish line. But you know he doesn't have it in him anymore. You know that he's he's sucking wind here and you can't let anybody see. So now you have an incentive to shield him from the public and to participate in the cover up. The committee found these incentives, among others, motivated the inner Circle to conceal the president's decline while running the government in his stead. Anita Dunn, longtime political operative and Biden aid, who served as a senior advisor to the former president, told the committee that the former president's senior advisers reached a consensus that President Biden should not undergo a cognitive exam, despite persistent calls from the public to do so. This revelation that the president's political advisors interfered with his healthcare to fuel a cover up of his condition was corroborated by Biden's second chief of staff, Jeff Zeinz. Why are his political advisers saying no cognitive exam right because they know he won't pass, so better to not do it this way. You have plausible deniability. And why wouldlical advisors make that recommendation? But for politics, all right? If you're listening to this show, you know I try to keep up with all sorts of current events, and I know you do too, And you've probably heard me say get your news from multiple sources. On the text line, Allen says during that debate, at the point where Trump said I don't know what he said, I don't believe he does either, at that point Biden was done. I completely agree that was it. People can talk about, Oh, you know, he kind of got into a stride, you know, like an hour into the two hour debate, but by then it was too late. He came out of the gate looking confused. And maybe they mistimed whatever the medical or pharmaceutical cocktail was that they had them all jacked up on, like preading his own or whatever I've heard people suggest, and maybe they just mistimed it. They wanted to make sure that he could make it through the end of the debate. And by the way, I'm like, just be clear, I'm not mocking Joe Biden for suffering cognitive decline like that's I never have. I mock the people around him, and I criticized the people around him, who kept him in that position, and who covered up his decline for whatever reason. It doesn't matter whether you think, well, Joe would want us, you know, to do this for him, for America, you know, for the people or whatever. I don't care. I don't None of that matters to me. Like this guy was in charge of the nuclear codes. So no, no, you don't get to you don't get to say that this was some selfless act of service. No, no, none of that matters. The guy was holding the most powerful position in American politics and government and indeed the world, and he was in cognitive decline. We could all see it. We could all see it, and then you gaslit us. Now, a Biden's spokesperson is quoted here. This is from the article in the Hill dot com. A Biden spokesperson that they don't name. So I don't think you can be a spokesperson, Like, why do you get identified as a spokesperson when you are not named in the story. I don't get that, But it's the Hill. So a Biden spokesperson said the GOP report failed to provide evidence to back the claims. Quote. This investigation into baseless claims has confirmed what has been clear from the start. President Biden made the decisions of his presidency. There was no conspiracy, no cover up, and no wrongdoing. So you haven't read the report because it literally says all of those things did happen. There was a conspiracy. In fact, here we go the cover up. This is from the report. The cover up was facilitated by extremely loyal senior staff, including Annie Thomasini, deputy chief of staff to Biden, Anthony Bernaal, chief of staff to First Lady Jill Biden. Both of them pleaded the fifth as well as the doctor O'Connor. Like it says right there that there was a cover up, it's not saying there was no cover up. The report clearly says there was a cover up. But then, of course the pivot happens from the spokesperson Congressional Republicans should stop focusing on political retribution and instead work to end the government shutdown. There you go, right, focus on the shutdown. Well, see, here's the thing though. One of the key points here in the report is the signing of the pardons and the grants of clemency to hundreds think actually over one thousand people. Entire categories of people, right, did you get busted for crack cocaine, you get a pardon, you get clemency, whatever, And it now raises the question of whether or not all of those pardons were legitimate. See, so this isn't about political retribution. This is about whether or not the things that were done were legal and whether or not they are now void. So no, I'm not going to only focus on the thing you want me to focus on instead of the thing that you know makes you look bad or may open you up or your friends up to criminal charges. But that's just me. I can focus on more than one thing in the news. It's a gift, what can I say. The committee's investigation, according to the report, revealed that Biden officials at the behest of the inner circle went to great lengths to prop up the former president as he began losing the ability to independently function in office. These steps ranged from addressing President Biden's makeup clothing schedule, the number of steps that he could walk or climb, remember he had to take the short stairs into Air Force one, the amount of time that the president needed to read and to spend with his family. Working to meticulously stage manage him, limiting the number of the events he participated in, lightening the president's workload, making it difficult even for senior Democrats to access the president, keeping cabinet meetings to a minimum, eliciting direction from Hollywood on the state of the Union and other events, and using teleprompters even at small intimate gatherings. And by the way, all of those examples have footnotes based on transcribed interviews with the various aids. The investigation revealed holes in the chain of custody of the President's decision binder. I did not know there was a decision binder, but apparently there is, and it contains decision memos to be signed or initialed by the President when he is approving or disapproving executive actions. And there was a chain of command problem, or sorry, chain of custody problem. In other words, the binder didn't go where it was supposed to go in the order in which it was supposed to go. Also, numerous instances in which the president's approval for an executive action or the Chief of staff's approval of signature by auto pen was not memorialized. So all of that stuff is supposed to be recorded. In fact, there's a person whose job it is to do that to write everything down, and these things were not written down, and that's why you got Biden world people saying, oh, well, you know there's no evidence of that. Yeah, because you didn't write any of the notes. And by the way, in court, when people it's called spoilation of or spoliation, spoilation of evidence. When people destroy evidence, hide evidence right, or don't collect it right, judges can direct juries to say that that can be weighed against the defendant as evidence of guilt. That they knew if this evidence were ever discovered that it would incriminate them, which is why they took steps to quote spoil it so it could not be found. So the failure of your employee, whose sole job it is to record these things, the failure of that person to record all of the things, could be viewed as incriminating as I view it, because it's pretty clear that's exactly why they didn't have her there to record anything, because she would have been like, oh, the president's not even here, and you guys are right making all these decisions. But that's just me. Here's a great idea. How about making an escape to a really special and secluded getaway in western North Carolina. I'm going to tell you something you probably have never heard before. CNN has a program called The Arena. I did not know this either, So there you go. I passed this information onto you. And uh on the arena or I guess in the arena, Yeah, on the Arena. Scott Jennings the only Republican that's allowed to be on CNN. Uh, he was on this program, The Arena. He's a you know pundit if you will. He now has his own radio show and he's having a discussion about this auto pen story. And here is that auto Here is this exchange. The host is Casey Hunt. Edition of auto pens has existed in every presidential administration. Hang on, this is Elliott Williams, a legal analyst US parties. I had an auto pen when I worked at ICE. I'm sorry, Elliot Williams important enough to have autopen. Impressed I'm important, case but no it h and so it's a common product. Allow people to use the name Elliott Williams. Without your knowledge of the document or what was on the page. I don't recall. I'm asking you, if you were a government official and you had an autopen, which you did, would you let some staffer sign pages in your name without. Yeah, here's the question. Here's the question. Was my authority delegated to that person? And I think they do have the authority to do so laws and regulation and I'm serious, Scott, laws and regulation, the. Authority to delegate pardons and executive orders. The President of the United States can say you, unelected staff or can go sign my name on a document that I've never seen for a decision that I've never made. Quite often, the United States Code delegates authority, so through the President of the United States, through the Attorney General, whatever else X person can carry out a function. And certainly that could be the case now. Donald Trump, for instance, in his first term, pardoned like sixteen hundred people, and I have a hard time believing that he was aware of every single person that he was pardoning. One could make a challenge every president does this. Now, if it's a call on if it's a question about Biden's fitness for office, did he know what? Of course, raise that question. But I just one. Given how vast the pardon power is, and too given how comprehensive the use of autopens are across administrations, I have a hard time knowing bodgal challenge. Nobody can be delegated the pardon power. It is a constitutional power, yes, And I don't really think you can delegate the executive order power because the executive has to make sense. Work, all right, So there you go. That's Scott Jennings. Here's the problem with the Elliott's position from the report. Testimony before the committee confirmed that the pardons signed on January nineteenth, so like right before Biden walked out the door, included pardons from members of his family. They were apparently the result of an in person meeting in the final hours of the presidency for which there is no documentation. Instead of actual documentation, the decision to grant these pardons was allegedly communicated second hand to a Zeints aid named Rosa Pohe, who then called Zeints who verbally authorized the use of the autopen from home. Zeints did not even know who actually used the autopen to apply this signature. After his aid, using his email account with his permission, communicated that the autop and was authorized for the clemency actions. Nobody knows who gave the order. Nobody knows Zience did so without confirming with President Biden that he had in fact granted these pardons after repeatedly telling the American people he would not pardon his son, let alone the five other members of the Biden family in the waning hours of his presidency, and there's no documentation of the only meeting where this was supposedly discussed with the President. I'm not buying it, all right, that'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening.
