[00:00:36] so first this is from Dave who says wouldn't the opposite of incarcerate be outcarserate

[00:00:45] not decarcerate that's probably George says we heard that caller saying that Kristi Noem

[00:00:57] still has a shot at being vice president my dog and I were listening when the caller said

[00:01:01] Kristi Noem had a shot and now I can't get my dog out from under the bed. I think she

[00:01:09] canceled her book tour. Governor Noem Noem Moore book tour she apparently canceled it

[00:01:19] the headline I saw was that just came across the wires that she was citing bad weather

[00:01:25] bad weather I think that would be yeah like a poop storm is that it that would do it

[00:01:33] um Keith says uh man I have been saying that the COVID shot was nonsense from the get go question

[00:01:40] where are the fouchies of the world not investigating the correlation from deaths

[00:01:44] versus people who got the shot they were all over us to get it I could not watch tv without

[00:01:49] seeing the fouch where is he now. I love the show that's from Keith well my producer and I

[00:01:56] were talking John Moore here during one of the breaks last or I guess it was first hour we

[00:02:00] were doing this stuff on the COVID shots and John said something I know this is going to come as a

[00:02:05] surprise to many people that know him but he said something that was I thought pretty profound

[00:02:09] do you know what it was John um I'm hungry no no no I don't remember Pete sorry

[00:02:18] no it was that people don't accept you said something like people are not going to accept

[00:02:24] that we're just not ever going to know yeah yeah people want people want the tally they

[00:02:32] want the death toll they want the ledger you know and they want whatever position they took at the

[00:02:37] beginning and during the pandemic if it was get the shot or you know you're gonna kill people

[00:02:45] mask up or you're gonna kill grandma right there was that crowd and they wanted every death

[00:02:53] they wanted to spike the football on every death that was of somebody who did not get the vaccine

[00:03:00] right yeah it's hard to accept that we may never know right about that and that's the problem

[00:03:07] is that people have their beliefs and opinions about what they think is the truth and

[00:03:14] that's enough and then they state these things as if they are the truth but we don't know and I don't

[00:03:22] know if we're ever going to know I really don't think that we are because I don't know how you

[00:03:27] prove the thing that didn't happen right we will never know what would have happened had

[00:03:33] people not all gotten the vaccines or the shots in the numbers they did we can look at other

[00:03:39] places right absolutely we can look you know for example like if you're trying to compare lockdown

[00:03:44] models and such look at Sweden I've been highlighting their model throughout the entire pandemic for the

[00:03:52] last four years doing comparisons because that's a good control group right that they didn't fall

[00:03:58] in line but still people did behave in certain ways people self-limited right people change

[00:04:04] their own behaviors but it wasn't and this is the key it wasn't forced upon them by Govco right

[00:04:10] and that was always my opposition when it came to the face masks and it came to the the shots

[00:04:18] it was always about government force to do these things recognizing of course that in a time of

[00:04:26] and I don't think COVID-19 you look back on it and assess it I don't believe COVID-19

[00:04:33] warranted this but if you've got it let's say you've got an outbreak of Ebola right

[00:04:41] and what was the remember watching something where they are uh oh I was I went to Jordan

[00:04:49] Dr. Jordan B. Peterson came to Charlotte and Monday night Kristi and I went and saw his

[00:04:55] performance and his talk his lecture and at the arena and he was talking about how

[00:05:02] there was some story that he had read like that day or the day before whatever I haven't gone back to

[00:05:09] pull the story but that there were some researchers that were trying to combine Ebola with I believe it

[00:05:24] was smallpox or SARS maybe I forget what the other one was and the reason why is because Ebola is like

[00:05:37] 100% deadly like the cases of people surviving Ebola is very rare and then the other one that it is

[00:05:49] cross-engineered with is like super contagious and so the idea and then and then the attempt is to

[00:05:58] aerosolize this and I believe it was the Russians that were working on this idea and because he was

[00:06:03] talking about science without ethics right and that is science right what those researchers

[00:06:08] are doing or we're doing whatever right that's science but science without any kind of a morality

[00:06:18] takes you to some pretty depraved and dark places right hello Nazis so obviously the whole point then

[00:06:27] is to aerosolize it so you can spray it over your enemy cities and you don't you never have to

[00:06:33] invade them you never have to fire a shot you just spray this aerosolized version and then it's a 100%

[00:06:40] deadly you know 100 contagious and you just let the whole civilization and the problem there is

[00:06:47] how do you contain that you know in today's uh you know COVID proved this very well which is

[00:06:55] in our international society you know people travel all over the place you really can't contain

[00:07:02] this stuff and by the time especially if you've got a country like the commies in China and they don't

[00:07:07] tell anybody about what they just messed up with right you you don't have any opportunity to try

[00:07:13] to stop it before it breaks containment or leaves your shores so yeah I don't know I like I I I

[00:07:22] don't know if you're ever going to get to to a point where you don't have people that are

[00:07:30] wanting every anecdotal story every piece of evidence right they're gonna they're gonna spike

[00:07:38] the football on it and they're going to use it to prove that their pre-existing opinion

[00:07:43] was the correct opinion right frankly I don't believe all the people now that claim they were

[00:07:50] posed to the shots then I'm not saying that about you specifically I'm saying that about the

[00:07:56] general population all of a sudden now right all the people that were like get the shot get the

[00:08:02] shot you're gonna kill people if you don't get the shot right you're a knuckle dragger you're

[00:08:06] terrible if you don't get the shot right all of those people they've all gone quiet now you

[00:08:10] can't find those people anymore right and I remember sitting in my doctor's office and

[00:08:15] her telling me I needed to get one of the boosters and I said no thank you and she said

[00:08:23] well I could take you to the ICU and show you all the people every single day that I see in the ICU

[00:08:28] and they were all unvaccinated remember that one right it's the same sort of it's the same sort of

[00:08:34] thing now where everybody's like I told you don't get the shot and all of a sudden everybody

[00:08:39] like nobody's vaccinated anymore all of a sudden nobody got the shot I don't believe that either

[00:08:45] right I believe there's a lot of motivated reasoning and there's a lot of people that

[00:08:48] want to be on the quote the winning team and to play I told you so and that's on both sides of

[00:08:53] this issue and I find it I find it off-putting I do I like I just find it I cringe at it because

[00:09:03] you're reveling in the destruction of other people that's what's happening whether you're

[00:09:08] saying well serves you right you didn't get vaccinated now you got COVID and you died ha

[00:09:12] ha ha right that's that's the mentality and it's the same way now where anybody that dies

[00:09:21] after having got like so if I died tomorrow of a of an aneurysm it's probably yeah it's probably

[00:09:28] because Winston called that's no kidding but right people are going to use that the fact that I

[00:09:36] got the the shots what now four years ago three years ago and they're gonna say yeah you see that

[00:09:43] he got vaccinated and now he died of a blood clot right and it wouldn't matter to you

[00:09:48] that I have a family history of it right wouldn't matter to you my dad has thrombosis

[00:09:54] right that no that wouldn't matter Agent Orange maybe implications or how about my lifestyle

[00:10:02] smoked for a long time but also high blood pressure right so if I if I dropped out of a stroke

[00:10:10] people make all sorts of assumptions that justify their priors and it tells me a lot more about you

[00:10:18] than it does about the person who died you know so I got here's another message I got from

[00:10:28] yeah Timoteo who said four shots of Moderna oh by the way that's the other one to it what about

[00:10:34] the people that have gotten I don't even know what number booster were up to is it like 10 12 30 I

[00:10:39] don't even know right well what about all the people that have gotten all those booster shots

[00:10:44] and they're not dead right like how many of those things before the ticking time bomb goes off

[00:10:51] you know is that evidence against your theory or that doesn't count and if I don't die from a blood

[00:10:59] clot I die from cancer or something beforehand well I was going to die from the blood clot

[00:11:05] it was going to get me at some point right right this is this is my it's a it's a very similar

[00:11:10] line of thinking with conspiracy theories where all evidence that goes your direction

[00:11:17] is is confirmation and any evidence that doesn't go your direction is proof of a cover-up right

[00:11:24] proof of the conspiracy itself and and is then ignored but Timoteo says four shots of Moderna I

[00:11:32] still caught COVID but survived with my numerous physical ailments any negative effects of the

[00:11:38] shot would have just gotten lost in the mix well all right well thanks I mean I hope you're feeling

[00:11:47] better and I'm sorry to hear about your your troubles there but that's that that's the thing

[00:11:54] you're not going to know this far out now you're not going to know we're not going to know what

[00:12:00] what may or may not have killed you as it relates to a shot that you took three years ago

[00:12:08] and we may never know and we have to we have to accept that all right so a couple of days ago

[00:12:13] maybe a week or so ago we spoke with the mother of Christian McGee Christian McGee is a

[00:12:21] high school student and his mom Lee or Leah rather she joined us on the program to talk about how her

[00:12:30] son had been suspended from his school in Davidson County because he had asked his teacher a

[00:12:40] clarifying question about a vocabulary lesson where apparently the word that was being discussed

[00:12:49] or something was to be used in the lesson the word was alien and he asked do you mean like space

[00:12:57] aliens or illegal aliens who need a green card and for that he got suspended well now his family

[00:13:05] has followed a lawsuit I've read through the lawsuit it's like 70 pages but

[00:13:11] I've got a couple of the highlights here and their press release but let me let me start with the

[00:13:16] let me start with the news or the lawsuit itself because it walks through the

[00:13:25] the chronology basically of what happened and it lays out the legal rationale for why they are suing

[00:13:35] the school district all right so first off on April 9th they're calling him CM

[00:13:40] but that's Christian it's the kid CM received permission to go to the bathroom during his

[00:13:49] English class from his teacher Ms. Haley Hill while away from class Christian missed parts of Ms.

[00:13:58] Hill's vocabulary lesson upon his return to the English class now that's a new piece of

[00:14:04] information I was not aware that that had happened and now that makes sense as to why he would

[00:14:08] not know what the context of the word was and how it was being used and what the lesson was right

[00:14:17] if he went to the bathroom and then he comes back and they're already sort of mid lesson

[00:14:21] upon his return to English class the word aliens was used during class discussion

[00:14:28] Christian raised his hand and asked Ms. Hill whether the reference to aliens referred to

[00:14:32] space aliens or illegal aliens who need green cards he'll responded quote watch your mouth

[00:14:37] Christian which is kind of an odd response but okay then there's a person who's identified only as R

[00:14:47] a Hispanic male student so in the class joked that he was going to kick Christians but

[00:15:02] class otherwise proceeded as normal right that was it and they say this was not racially motivated

[00:15:10] wasn't targeting anybody could not be reasonably viewed as obscene or fighting words or abusive

[00:15:20] or promoting illegal drug use because that's what the text of the rules state and that's what the

[00:15:28] school district cited when they suspended him and what the lawyers are saying is that he

[00:15:33] he didn't his words did not violate that policy prior to his comment neither Ms. Hill nor

[00:15:40] the assistant principal I believe his name is Eric Anderson nor any other teacher or school

[00:15:45] official had advised Christian that he could not say in class the word alien or illegal alien

[00:15:51] or green cards there was never there was never any kind of advising that you can't say these words

[00:15:57] following the class both the students were pulled out of lunch and asked to go to the

[00:16:02] assistant principal's office Anderson's office Anderson spoke first to the Hispanics to I'm

[00:16:09] gonna call him I'm gonna call him Ricardo when Ricardo said that he was not offended

[00:16:16] Mr. Anderson then disagreed and told Ricardo that Christians words quote were a big deal

[00:16:23] effectively telling Ricardo that he should have been offended you don't understand Ricardo

[00:16:29] you were offended you just don't realize it I'm offended by proxy for you I mean that's

[00:16:35] essentially what this guy is saying then Anderson speaks to Christian and says that Ricardo was upset

[00:16:44] crying and offended Christian did not find these assertions to be believable because he could see

[00:16:53] that Ricardo was not upset but Christian listened to assistant principal Anderson and

[00:16:58] told his side of the story Mr. Anderson would later recall telling Christian that it would have

[00:17:02] been more quote respectful for Christian to phrase his question get this by referring to quote

[00:17:11] those people right hey who you calling those people those people who quote need a green card

[00:17:23] all right everybody there you go write that down so from now on apparently this is the

[00:17:28] non-offensive way to say illegal aliens you need a green card you have to say those people

[00:17:36] I don't think that's actually better but okay whatever Christian and Ricardo

[00:17:40] actually have a good relationship Ricardo confided in Christian that he was not crying

[00:17:46] in his meeting with Anderson nor was he upset nor was he offended Ricardo said quote if anyone

[00:17:53] is racist it's Mr. Anderson since he asked me why my Spanish grade is so low oh my gosh right well

[00:18:07] come on Ricardo what but you're of Hispanic heritage why don't you know Spanish oh my gosh

[00:18:15] dude why don't you just ask Ricardo where he's from right that's one of the verboten things too

[00:18:22] right Christian later learned that Ricardo had received only a brief in school suspension for

[00:18:29] his joking comment that he was going to kick Christians but so the initial report was that

[00:18:36] the other kid Ricardo had not been punished at all so that apparently was not the case

[00:18:40] he did get a very brief in school suspension okay if you're listening to this podcast you are

[00:18:46] obviously paying attention to the world around us you also have really great taste I might add

[00:19:45] of christian McGee a 16 year old student whose question about the words alien the word aliens

[00:19:52] in english class led to a harsh suspension and false accusations of racism by his school so

[00:19:59] the school in the lawsuit said the lawyers for the for christians say that the school punished him

[00:20:04] for his question with three days out of school suspension a punishment described by

[00:20:10] the administration itself as quote harsh and in issuing that punishment for his comment the school

[00:20:18] boldly concluded that his question was quote racially insensitive and a racially motivated

[00:20:25] comment which disrupts class but the school had no legal justification for harshly punishing him

[00:20:36] aside from the obvious fact that his words had nothing to do with race right of course not

[00:20:45] his speech was protected under the first amendment he asked his teacher a question

[00:20:50] that was factual and non-threatening and officials could not have reasonably forecast

[00:20:55] that his question would cause substantial school disruption in fact it did not

[00:21:01] nor did his question actually cause substantial school disruption so in harshly punishing christian

[00:21:11] the school engaged in viewpoint discrimination based entirely on its own subjective and incorrect

[00:21:17] viewpoint that the racially neutral phrase illegal aliens was somehow indicative of racial

[00:21:24] discrimination i think this is the key here is that the term illegal aliens is racially neutral

[00:21:32] you don't know who an illegal alien is just by saying the word illegal alien because it describes

[00:21:41] a universe of people that share one common characteristic which is

[00:21:47] they are here in the country illegally they're not citizens and that's it and they could be

[00:21:52] from anywhere around the world and that's every race and ethnicity and creed and religion right

[00:21:58] the viewpoint discrimination is evident from the school's decision to not harshly punish

[00:22:06] the other student who made the comment threatening christian threatening violence against him a

[00:22:11] comment that on its face is far more disruptive to the learning environment right it's further

[00:22:15] evidenced from a school administration a school administrators assertion that harsh punishment

[00:22:22] was necessary to avoid being get this unfair to other students who had received the same punishment

[00:22:31] when they said the n word so the school district had suspended these other kids for using the

[00:22:38] n word and so we got to say same suspension for you for saying illegal alien

[00:22:45] what guys i don't think this is gonna work out well for the board of it all right that'll do it
