In a bipartisan vote, North Carolina House Republicans were joined by 5 Democrats in passing a bill to force school districts to offer optional in-person instruction for K-12 students. The 44 Democrats who opposed the measure said it was not necessary because 90% of districts already had re-opened in some way.
