We knew this was coming for a while, mainly because the Israeli said, we're going to invade Gaza City, which is one of the last strongholds for Hamas. And this from the Jerusalem Post that reports the IDF will intensify its activity in Gaza City until Hamas agree to end the war on Israel's terms. This is according to the Defense Minister Israel katz. He added that Israel has issued an evacuation noticed to a multi story terror building in Gaza City. Update it's leveled. It was a high rise building and the video has been released. Took three hits and it collapsed. The IDF distributed evacuation leaflets for the Radwuan neighborhood in Gaza City, according to Channel twelve. Meanwhile, Hamas, knowing that the strike was coming because Israel gave them like an hour heads up on it. Knowing that the strike was coming, Hamas released videos of more hostages. Just step back and think about why they would do such a thing. Why would Hamas do that. They are trying to stop the invasion of Gaza City. They don't want Israeli forces to invade it and to kill all the Hamas Holas, so they say, hey, hey, hey, if you try to do anything here, we still got a couple of your guys alive in here, and we're totally gonna put them like right in front of us. So if we die, they die. Knowing that Israelis try to save all of the hostages and try to, as is their faith, to bring back all of the bodies. That's sort of their national creed, and Hamas uses this against them. This is why they can murder all of the hostages and still hold the bodies for ransom, essentially because the Israelis want the bodies back. Hamas knows this, and so they can keep a couple alive kill everybody else like they did with the Beebus family, mother and two infant children that were beaten and strangled to death, and then their bodies put into boxes, brought out for a mass public celebration, very well attended, candy being distributed among all of the Gosins, songs being sung, everybody very happy at the dead Jews. And so that's how they use the Israeli morality against them. They weaponize that against them. So they released another video of a man named Guy Gilboa Delal, as well as another hostage. However, that second hostages family requested that he not be named so far. Hamas wrote on their telegram channel where they published the videos, quote time is running out. In the video, Gilboa Delal said that he couldn't believe he was still alive after twenty two months of war, and that he was being held in Gaza City. He stated that he and the remaining hostages would remain in Gaza City during the upcoming IDF operation and that Hamas would move them to wherever the IDF operates. Right, think about who Israel is fighting. What do you do if you've got an enemy that refuses to surrender, refuses to stop killing innocent civilians on your side and puts hostages your kidnapped people, civilians that were dancing at a party, and puts them in front of their enemy forces, puts them anywhere your soldiers go in to try to fight Hamas. How do you fight that? Like, this is the thing I have never understood from the anti israel people or the pro Hamas people, or whoever you want to frame you at this point, I'd like, I don't care. I've been very clear about this from the very beginning. There's nothing you can say to me that is in defense of the anti Israeli position, that's in defense of Hamas, Like I am immune to these arguments. Maybe that's a bit of a maybe that's a bit of a blind spot, but no, I saw October seventh, and I have no use or need to hear any of your excuses for this any longer. I've been watching this, and I've been doing a lot of research and reading for the last twenty four years, since nine to eleven. So I have a pretty clear idea. I have moral clarity on who the enemy is, and you may not. That's fine, until it won't be for you, But I do, and so no, I don't have any any tolerance for the arguments of how you're supposed to fight this kind of barbarism that Hamas is displaying. And by the way, what Hamas is displaying is the barbarism of Isis and al Qaida, and all of that barbarism is doctrinal or doctrinyl. If that's how you prefer the pronunciation, I don't. But like these stories, they are animated by the stories of their ideology. Right, these methods and tactics have been employed since around five or six hundred AD. Right, it's not new. It just repeats over and over and over and over and over again. The slaughtering, the raping, the hostage taking, the sex, slaving, all of it. It's the same, over and over and over again. There's been no reformation in this ideology. Okay, so uh, how do you how do you expect Israel to go in try to get its hostages back with an enemy that believes the murder of every Jew is the way that they prove Allah loves them. How do you do that? They don't care. It's not that like the Israelis would have been prior to October seventh, they would have accepted a two state solution they kept negotiating for it for decades. But the Gazans do not want that. The West Bankers do not want that. They do not want two states. They want one state controlled by them, where they can then eradicate all of the Jews, because the Jews kicked their asses many times since they got their own country. And that's the catastrophe, or as they call it, the knakba. And they have Westerners condensed that this meant that, oh, we lost our land. Oh it's the catastrophe. The catastrophe was that second class citizens, not even the dogs, the Jewish dogs, the second class people. They weren't even allowed to own property, and they beat us. That's the catastrophe. That means Allah doesn't like them, or something like it. They've got to now fix this, and they've been endeavoring to do so. So Israel began their operations about two weeks ago actually with planes and tanks pounding sort of the outskirts of Gaza City, taking out buildings. And they said they're going to go on with this offensive look. And I can tell you right now, like the Israelis really don't care what the rest of the world says. They really don't That's every impression I get of this is that the Israelis don't care about world opinion. They do care about American administration opinion, and right now they've got Donald Trump in the White House, so gloves are off for them. They don't care. And the reason they don't care is, like, honestly, why should they care. You think Israelis care very much about what the Europeans think, what they're about, what they're doing. I don't you know why, Because the Europeans were part of the whole Holocaust. They didn't protect the Jews. So the Jews are going to protect themselves. And you guys can take every seat. Please just go ahead and have a seat, Just take them all. That's my impression on it. But I'm not a Israeli, so I don't know. That's just my impression on it. Let's head over to the phones and sure we'll talk with Kevin. Welcome to the program. Hello Kevin, I. Appreciate you taking my call. Sure, I just wanted to ask you, well, First of all, listen to all the time, agree with ninety five percent of what you say almost every time, and I wanted to ask you that. Well. First of all, let me be very clear. I know you're very passionate about this and so on. I too. Israel has a right to exists as a nation. They have a right to defend themselves. In fact, I don't think the United States is quite doing. Enough to support Israel. But what I wanted my question to you was you had mentioned this before about how the one option was to flood the zone with food. And just because I think you had mentioned that's kind of the currency at least from the information from Israel that we're getting, correct, that was one of. The well before they before Israel did the humanity or before they did the blockade, right where they had done the calculation that already enough food has gone in to last I think it was like six months or five months or something like that. So then they said, okay, now we're going to lock down the food in order to try to get Hamas to negotiate, and they thought that would give them a window, and of course it did not. Hamas did not because they kept playing this game of believing that Hamas was not trying to kill its own citizens. And they are, Yeah they will. Yeah, you're right, they're ruthless, a bunch of folks. They need to be completely lighted off of it. I agree on that. My biggest thing is the optics because it cast the Jews and really in a bad light. You know, all the Thompson just the news beats it to death how much people are starving over there, and there may be something, you know, the truth A lot of times lives somewhere in the middle. There may be a lot of starvation going over there, maybe not as bad as the news would like to tell us, but in the same vein, if if Israel were to because gusus strip's nice and long, you can set up food distribution centers along that outer coast that faces Israel, wouldn't even have to paste or anything. You basically just flood the zone with food and what would call like devaluing the currency. Yeah, quote unquote current right, that was. One of the ideas that was pitched. Rather than have done what they did and make food more scarce, they what they could have done was to, yeah, flood the zone and that would devalue food as a currency. But the idea there again is that that that would have been something that would have been able to uh to get Hamas to the bargaining table. But Hamas has no interest in bargaining. Oh yeah, no, I agree. Yeah, they're they're they're in it because they're they're about to be wiped off the face of the earth. So I agree with that. Well, they and more it's more than that they like this is their entry into into heaven. So like this there, it's a win win for them and for all of the people in their minds, for all of people at Gaza, for all Muslims, Like this is what they're supposed to be doing. They're supposed to be wiping out the Jews and anybody who dies in that cause, yes you're dead, that stinks, but you're going to heaven where you're going to be a martyr. So I win. Yeah, So either I win here on the ground and I get to rule with an iron fist and subjugate all of the infidels or the Kaffirs or whatever, like, I get to impose my will. But if I don't, well then I'm still in heaven. So it's win win. Sure, I was talking about like the Zelots, like you've got those Zelots that feel that way, but and even a lot of the Godens because they've it's been indoctrinated into the children that you know, Israel along those lines for so many generations. By the way, it's not just Israel, it's Jews and Christians and everybody who is not Muslim. And yeah, yeah, I was focusing just on h Yeah, conflict is all of us. Yeah for sure, Yeah, they hate everybody pretty much is not Muslim. But what I was getting at was when they flood the Zign, it gives a better optic also too, they can't have the excuse, well, you're starving our people, even though it's not Israel doing it. They have you basically take away the currency because if you've got a Hamas fighter, he's well, you're paying me in this food that I got five hundred pounds of food for my family. You take away their power to control the people, because that's what they're using that now, is right, and that. Was the but that was a tactic that could have been employed six months ago. Eight months ago. We're past that now because remember, tactics changed during war. Each side is always readjusting and you know, adopting new I mean, look at the Russia Ukraine war, right, Like they're now using drones at a scale we have never seen before. So there's a lot of articles about that. It's amazing the US is actually learning from the Ukrainian war. Lots of great Well it's good and bad. Yeah, I mean everybody is they weren't, yeah, absolutely, Like this is what this is going to be, the modern iteration warfare with you know, cheap drones with armaments on them and just bombing and bombing and bombing and bombing and taking out all of these defense systems and then you don't even have to worry about having an air force, you know. Yeah. Yeah, Even the new Abrams tank, the X that they're they're coming out, is going to be specifically designed with drone air support is going to have its own air force. So cool me. I appreciate it. Was just a yeah, I just hate that the appearance that the media is giving to Israel right now, that it just cast them in a bad light. And I hate no. Look, I agree israel Is, uh, they are doing an awful job at the at the propaganda war right at that element of this war, they're not doing a very good job of it. There. I heard somebody say that they should be out doing a daily press conference in English every single day, and they're just but they're just not. And I think it goes to what I mentioned before the break there, which was that is the the Israelis don't care any like the government, the the politicians, where they don't care what the rest of the world thinks because they're not going to be relying on the rest of the world for their own survival because every time they've relied on some other group of people to protect them, they've been slaughtered and they're just done with it. So that even what the Bible says, I don't know if you know that or not, but every time in the scriptures and the Old Testament when Israel went to outside powers, God stopped blessing them, you know that, Like every time they went to Egypt to for support to fight against I think it was the Philistines or something. Nero. That might not be right, but anyway, God said, uh, and so he cursed them. So yeah, I see where it comes from. Yeah, I got you, Kevin. I appreciate the call. Man. All right, good a weekend, you too. Take care. The Israeli has approved a plan last month to go into Gaza City to seize control of it. They've begun filling up some of these tunnels in areas they've captured. They're filling them with concrete, just pumping concrete into all the tunnels to shut them down, which is, if you just step back and think about it for a moment, like the most impressive thing that the Arabs in Gaza. I'm starting to move away from this whole idea like they're Palestinians like they're Arabs and they live in Gaza. Okay, the most incredible thing, impressive thing they have ever built was four hundred and fifty miles of tunnels in order to lure Jews into them to murder them. That's there, that end, and they have now given us a different idea of what urban warfare is going to look like. And that's why they have to be defeated, because if these tactics work, these tactics will be employed everywhere. So when I was a kid, my grandpa died with Alzheimer's, and before he died, my mom and my dad took care of him as he got worse. Forty years ago, there were no treatments and not much support for caregivers and family. But things are different today because of the work of so many people, including the Alzheimer's Association of Western Carolina. It's a great organization with awesome people with huge hearts. I've been a supporter for twenty five years. This cause means a lot to me. I participate in the annual Walk to End Alzheimer's and I'm leading a Charlotte team again this year, and it's called Once Again Pete's Pack. You can sign up and you can join the team and walk with us. It's on October eighteenth, that truest field. Sign up at alz dot org slash walk and then you can search for my team name Pete's Pack. There's also a link at thepetepod dot com. There's also a link in the description of this podcast. Also, I'll be am seeing the Gastonia Walk on October eleventh, and so you can make a team and join that one too, or make a donation and help me hit my goal of five thousand dollars. If you do, I really appreciate it. There are a bunch of other walks all over the Carolinas. You can go to alz dot org slash walk for all the dates and locations. We're closer than ever to stopping Alzheimer's. Can you help us get there? Will you walk with me? For a different future, for families, for more time for treatments. This is why we walk. Let me go back to the phones here and chat with Pete. Hello Pete, welcome to the show. Hey Pete, Hey, great name, by the way. Yeah, this is a high cast. Doil Pete. But this thing about drones we just had the Navy developed an entire class of ships called the Watoral combat ships for close to the shore operations. And yet when the Houties were getting a little rambunctious several months ago, we sent aircraft carriers and the Houti sent five hundred dollars drones against multi billion dollar aircraft carriers. We the Watoral class of ships is supposed to be close to the shore, could go on the attack. To this, to that the technology of warfare has has changed. All of these massive military projects are being wiped out by five hundred thousand and two thousand dollars drones. Sure, well, well, I think that there's a there is a place for the aircraft carriers. Like if you if you don't want to get your your all your material up to the shoreline, for example, if you want to if you want to stay you know, two hundred miles out to see and be able to launch strikes on targets and then soften that up and then you know, going closer if you needed to, which we did not. So I think there's a place for it. But there's no doubt. Yeah, I mean, the technology is definitely changing the face of warfare. No doubt about it, right, Yeah. And the next point, the next point about the drones, people, what when Ukraine sent all those drones into Russia and some of those drones were way far east, several hundred, if not thousands of miles, Russia didn't see that coming. We have, we have a whole bunch of farmland that's been purchased by Chinese and you know what, they're close. To military installations. Yep, that's right. Yeah, nobody seems nobody seems to be concerned about it. No, there, Well, I'm concerned about it. There are some state lawmakers who have been trying to run bills that there are some bills in Congress as well to ban that kind of foreign ownership of farmland near military installations. So yeah, i'd agree. My view on China is that they are an adversary. They are they are an enemy, and we would not be trading like we do right now with China, with the Soviet Union. We would not be allowing the Soviet Russians to buy up a whole bunch of our farm land. We wouldn't let them buy anything in our country. I don't know why, Well, I do know why. It's the money people are hooked on the money. And what I want to believe is that the things that I am seeing is that. And I don't know if it's true, but if it is true, it would make a little bit of sense that some of the moves that we are seeing from the administration, whether it's moving boats and such down into South and Central America, you know, taking out the Narco terrorist boat the other day, like, some of these movements I think are positioning for what I think some people believe is coming, which is the ad which is open World War three. It goes hot. Okay, Yeah, I think that's fine. Yeah, I mean I don't want that. And that's why I think it's important for Israel to succeed, because we want somebody in that region of the world that is able to put the region on lockdown so we don't have to, you know, agreed. Well, you know the thing is, all of these things that you and I worry about. You sit here sometimes and you wonder if you're the only person that's thinking this way and we're not, And and for for a brief moment there, you think I'm losing my mind. How come? How come nobody else thinks this? There's another fellow who is on podcasts now, Uh, he has this line, I'm not a conspiracy theorist, I'm a conspiracy analyst. Well who is? You know, what is it Alex Jones, because he's. No, it's it's it's it's this guy Lionel. He used to be on all that talk. I remember Lionel. Yeah, yeah, yeah, And you know, you know he has such a way with words. I listen to him just to find new words I've never heard of. However, he is a thinker and he puts some things out there. But I love that line, I'm not a conspiracy theorist, I'm a conspiracy analyst. Yeah, I think is it Lionel also like a rape jing leftist lawyer. He's a lawyer. I don't know that he's raging left him? Yeah, I think he was years ago when I when I heard him, he was on one of our sister stations, which was a progressive pieces. He's probably he's you know, spend a few minutes with him, he's come over. Oh, I mean that's possible. And his wife runs a huge, huge group for sexually abused children and whatnot. It's a whole another thing, okay, And I've seen a picture him and his wife sitting with our standing with Trump at the Resolute Desk, so I think he's found interesting. Okay, all right, Well, I mean, like I said, last time I heard him was years ago, probably a decade ago. Pete, I appreciate the call, sir. Yeah, have a great weekend, yes, sir, all right, take care. This just in Reuter's reporting that Egypt has now confirmed that it will not open its border with Gaza in order to allow Palestinian children and mothers to escape what Egypt calls a genocide. So Egypt is calling this a genocide but will not open their gates to women and children. That tells you everything you need to know about the use of the word genocide and about how the Arab world sees the Palestinians. The Arabs in Gaza. Some may look down on them because it's all very tribal and such, but more importantly, they're to be sacrificed. Islam requires it. So like again, like, I can't care more about the Muslim Arabs in Gaza than the Muslim Arabs right next door that refuse to open the doors to let the people into their country. All right, So you've heard me talk about Creative Video for almost a year. But did you know they also offer a game changing app for businesses that reward their teams with incentive trips. Well they do. It's called Incentive trip Kit. If you want a business or work at one that offers these incentive trips, this is a must have. All right, let's go back to the phones here and chat with who's this David? Welcome to the program. Hello David, David, Hey Pete. I really enjoy your show. You you're great, well. Thanks, I appreciate it. What's up? I got a question for you. Everybody's dancing around the edge, but no one will say. What in the world is wrong with the Palestinians. I mean Lebanon doesn't want them, Syria doesn't want them, Jordan doesn't want them. I mean Egypt won't have them. What is going on? By eleven, I'm Jordan. Well there's Egypt. I can tell you there are two. There are two reasons. Basically, one is that I'm not sure if you're aware of this or not, but quote unquote, the Palestinians have gotten themselves a bit of a reputation of being troublemakers no matter where they end up, and so some of these other countries do not want that kind of trouble to be brewing in their borders, right. They don't want the heat from that. So that's part of it. But the other part of it is that they are seen as the cause as an Islamic cause to be sacrificed in order to beat the Jews, because like, if you can't even beat the Jews, which again, in Islamic ideology, the Jews are like sub humans, like you don't even they're dogs, and they don't own property, they don't get to vote, they don't have any of the rights that the Muslims have. They are the non believers. And so that's the first step. So if you can't even get them under control, the Jews, and you're losing wars to them, then you're not going to be able to usher in the second coming. So you've got to be able to show your ability to wipe them out. And so we have to use them as this cause for the larger Islamic project. But that's hypocritical because no one's won a war with them in the last six decades. Yeah, but this time it'll be different. Yeah, this time it'll be different. I mean, that's but seriously, like that's what they that's what they believe. That's what Iran was working for, right, that's their ring of fire strategy where they funded all of these proxies Islamic jihad. Uh you know hesbala as well as Hamas, and you keep funding all of these terrorist proxies and you you ring ring Israel with all of these militias who then launch all at once and attack on Israel. That and that was the plan. Hamas just went early, they went. They they jumped the gun on October seventh. And the definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Well, but that's but again, as I said earlier, they've got this is a win win for them, right because this is the way that they get to test to see if Allah is on their side and is happy with them. And if they die doesn't matter because they will then end up in heaven anyway. They'll be martyred and get to subjugate women, right. Well, they get the seventy two virgins, which is actually the stuff about the seventy two versions is very odd. They're always described as like these fair skinned women that are like these sexual demigods or whatever that can just have sex all the time, forever and ever and ever. It is a very patriarchical ideology everything. I mean, if you think about it at the time that it was you know, conjured up, who were you trying to attract You're trying to raise up these armies to murder all the non believers, so you promise them sex with all the women in you know, in the afterlife and everything else, and sex with all the sex slaves, and you get to, you know, murder a bunch of people in the meantime and become rich working for the Califate. So like these were all the things. So it's a very male centric ideology. It's the twenty first century. When are they going to come and join us? No? They to, a lot of them. They don't want to. That's it. They don't want to. I appreciate the call, David, have a great weekend. I don't know what. Let's see. We'll talk to Keith next. Hello, Keith, Welcome to the show. Good afterday. What's up? Uh? Didn't all the troubles in a Lebanon crank up in the seventies when they allowed a bunch of Palestinian refugees to move in there. I think that might be part of the problem. Yes, as I said, they've got a bit of a bad reputation in the neighborhood for this sort of stuff, but at all But really, I mean the Iranian proxies has Bala and all of that. I mean Iran when the Shaw fell and Iron took over, Like that's really when this stuff started amping up with the proxies. Oh, I remember something in college about that part of the course about the difference between the Shia and the Sunni and the Iran and Iraq are the only two majority Shia Muslim countries in the world. And well Iran is Iraq was governed by the Shia, but they were a minority, and that was that was really that. I think that was the bizarre point. Or maybe they were governed by the Sunni and they were the minority. You may be right, they may have both been shea but then they fought each other right for years in the Iran Iraq War. So the Baptists our Baptist whatever. Yeah, the Bathist not Baptists, the Bathist. No, my dad was Baptist. My mother was raised in Libya though, Ah. Okay, well, so what what were what were her views on on these issues? Well, she was born back when it was an Italian colony and raised there until the fifties and got thrown out her her whole family did. Basically her views on the thing here's a good example. My father was in the service in nineteen sixty seven. He was in Vietnam. We were stationed in Minnesota. Walter Cronkitke comes on the news and says peace has been declared. And I thought, oh, cool, Pop's coming home. And she said, no, that's the Jews in the Arabs and they're not done fighting. Nobody done fighting when Jesus comes back. Well, there's probably more truth to that than she knew at the time. I appreciate the call, Keith, Thank you sir. All right, that'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening.
