[00:00:28] And now it all makes sense. If it seemed like the previous administration was governing as if they were whacked out on drugs, now it makes sense. Because there is a former Democratic National Committee, DNC, insider, big time fundraiser for the DNC, who has defected basically from the party.
[00:00:56] Her name is Lindy Lee. She's been going on all these different podcasts, talking to all these different people about all these different things. And what she told the, what she said in the latest podcast, which was with, I think his name is Sean Ryan. Yeah, Sean Ryan. And I've seen his podcast. It's like a three hour conversation that he does with people.
[00:01:22] And what she said was that after the Biden performance, after Joe Biden's terrible performance in the June debate, Hunter took over. That's who's been in charge. And probably before that too. But now it all makes sense.
[00:01:48] Matt Margolis writing at PJ Media. Now we know why, or sorry, now we know who was running the country for Joe Biden. Quote, have you noticed how leftists are losing their minds over Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency or Doge to expose rampant waste and corruption?
[00:02:08] Well, as Musk uncovers shocking levels of mismanagement and even actions aiding America's enemies, critics have launched coordinated attacks on him, implying that he's the one who's actually running the White House. And they say, nobody voted for Elon Musk. Yeah, well, nobody voted for Dr. Jill Biden or Dr. Jilson, as I call her. It's a it's an homage to Edith Wilson.
[00:02:36] Who is the wife of Woodrow Wilson, who also assumed the powers of the presidency, even though she was not elected after her husband suffered a stroke or a series of strokes. And she would like sign his name to things like the act that like the first Rasputin like surrogate president.
[00:03:03] And I have no doubt I am open to be persuaded, but it's going to take a lot. I have no doubt that Dr. Jill did the same thing with Joe, and I have no doubt that the half a dozen people around him did the same thing. And people may ask, Pete, why are you talking about this? You know, the day after the the big game, shouldn't you be talking about the commercials? Oh, I had the mustache one was hilarious. Like, well, which mustache one? Because like two different companies used flying mustaches for some reason, I'm sure is just coincidental.
[00:03:32] But still, this is why it's because this to me, and I've said it before many times, this is the biggest presidential scandal of my lifetime and maybe ever. You had a president who was cognitively impaired and you had people around him that were running our government. And you had media that ran cover for that operation.
[00:04:01] And only after Joe Biden was out do we hear all of these stories. You know, now the truth can be told. After they'd done they'd done all of these things, signing executive orders, pushing billions and billions of dollars through the agencies to the non-governmental organizations and such,
[00:04:20] just pushing your money out the door to fund essentially themselves, the shadow government that exists where these Democrats and their allies, they ensconce themselves in in these organizations that then live off of government grants. And their friends are the ones that write the grants.
[00:04:44] And then when they win power, they just all pick up and move en masse back into the government offices. It is a shadow government. And it is funded by us. And none of this is possible without a compliant allied media. That's why this is a huge scandal.
[00:05:07] At least with Watergate, you had media outfits and reporters that were outraged at what was going on and they reported on it and they exposed the lies and everything else. But this time, no. This time they had to protect the enfeebled leader in order to keep making advances on a shared agenda.
[00:05:34] So now Musk is in there and now the left is very concerned about somebody not elected running the government. The same voices now wailing about Musk's alleged control were silent when Joe spent four years clearly not running the White House. If I can see it from way down here in Charlotte, how did the people who live in that area not see it or not know?
[00:06:04] And the answer is, of course, that they did see it and they did know. And then, of course, we find out afterwards that, yeah, we knew. Well, I didn't know it was that bad. And then you got other people that are like, oh, yeah, we knew it was that bad. Everybody knew they had heard the rumors and they chose not to pursue the rumors or they knew for sure and chose not to report it. Why? Because orange man bad. So Lindy Lee.
[00:06:29] Once a proud fundraiser for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, Lee has now turned into an insider spilling the Democrat Party's most close closely held secrets. And boy, does she have stories, says Matt Margolis or Margolis. Her revelations pull back the curtain on what has been described as a chaotic and delusional 2024 campaign for the Democrats, which spectacularly collapsed under the weight of its own hubris. Back in December.
[00:06:58] She told Fox News, quote, The president has not been cognitively fit to assume the duties of the Oval Office for a number of years now. And it breaks my heart because I know President Biden and I love the man, but he is in no shape or form able to carry out the duties that the commander in chief requires. And it's just devastating. And according to Lee, Joe Biden effectively lost control of the White House after that June debate.
[00:07:27] That debate reportedly prompted a power shuffle at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, one spearheaded by none other than. Hunter Biden.
[00:07:50] Lee alleges that following Biden's disastrous debate, drubbing Hunter essentially took over White House operations. Speaking with the show of the podcaster, Sean Ryan, Lee painted a picture of dysfunction at the highest levels of government, quote, After the CNN debate, Hunter basically commandeered the White House. He sat in on all of the White House top level meetings. We had a former cocaine addict sitting in on the most sensitive meetings of the most consequential and most important government in world history.
[00:08:20] Does that sit right with you? And mind you, Hunter Biden had no security clearances. This is all fine. Elon Musk is the problem because he's showing us where the waste fraud and corruption is. Right? All right. If you're listening to this show, you know I try to keep up with all sorts of current events. And I know you do, too. And you've probably heard me say, get your news from multiple sources. Why?
[00:08:47] Well, because it's how you detect media bias, which is why I've been so impressed with Ground News. It's an app and it's a website and it combines news from around the world in one place. So you can compare coverage and verify information. You can check it out at check.ground.news slash Pete. I put the link in the podcast description, too.
[00:09:08] I started using Ground News a few months ago and more recently chose to work with them as an affiliate because it lets me see clearly how stories get covered and by whom. The blind spot feature shows you which stories get ignored by the left and the right. See for yourself. Check.ground.news slash Pete. Subscribe through that link and you'll get 15% off any subscription. I use the Vantage plan to get unlimited access to every feature.
[00:09:34] Your subscription then not only helps my podcast, but it also supports Ground News as they make the media landscape more transparent. This woman who was a former big time Democrat donor. Lindy Lee is her name. She's now spilling the tea. Lee with the tea. Oh, that could that could be your pod. Maybe she probably already has a podcast, but she's going around doing interviews.
[00:09:56] Talking about the sort of behind the curtain things that went on in the final months of the presidential race on the Democrat side. I've heard several of her interviews over the last few months and. Like she I believe she ended up voting for Trump, but I don't recall specifically.
[00:10:19] She may not have, but she became very disillusioned because after the election she yet. I think she did vote for Harris, but like after the election. That's when she started hearing that there were all of these concerns in these internal polls that were showing Biden couldn't win, nor could Harris. And that when somebody went on the I think it was the pod bros, the former Obama guys that it's like pod save America. And.
[00:10:49] They talked about this like, oh, yeah, we knew we saw this polling and yeah, we she didn't have a chance and all this. And Lee was like, well, wait a minute. As a big time Democrat fundraiser, I've been going around to people telling them that she could win and it wouldn't be a waste of money.
[00:11:07] And I I convinced people to give tens of millions of dollars and you lied to me in order to keep that money flowing, even though you knew that she was trailing very badly. But publicly you were telling us the opposite and to donors you were lying to us. So she got very upset about all of that. She got upset about Joe Biden, the cover up regarding him.
[00:11:34] And now she says that it was Hunter Biden that commandeered. The White House operations. After the June debate, she says that's who was basically running the show. Hunter basically battened down the hatches after the debate to make sure his father would only receive intel he pre-approved.
[00:11:59] The media's and the Democrats hypocrisy is glaring, said Matt Margulis at PJ media dot com, said they attack Elon Musk for exposing waste, accusing him of having too much power without having been elected. While their lack of scrutiny during the Biden presidency allowed for an unelected crack addict to run the country. And I agree.
[00:12:26] Then there is the the fallout from the laptop. And this goes into some of the executive orders. This all connects to the USAID. I mean, like there is so much stuff going on right now. I know it's very difficult to follow all of it. And this is the strategy. We've talked about this. The Trump administration strategy. Shock and awe.
[00:12:50] You do this in order to to fracture the opposition into different camps. Right. Because the Democrat Party is based on this intersectionality idea where you're oppressed. I'm oppressed. That other guy's oppressed and she's oppressed. And they them there. They're there. Gears oppressed. Whatever. Like everybody's oppressed for all these different reasons. But where we intersect is orange man bad.
[00:13:19] And so that well, I mean, now it's orange man bad. Well, for the last. Ten, eight years, it's been orange man bad. But the whole point is you build the oppressor oppressed structure and then you target a, you know, unitary target. White male system. Right. That's the target. We're all oppressed by white males or the system and or the system. I can be both because that's a system they built against us to keep us oppressed. That's the intersectionality.
[00:13:49] We're all oppressed, but for different reasons. So we intersect at oppression. And so, therefore, we need to band together and go after the common enemy. And when you are able to fracture all of those different groups inside the intersectional coalition because you've done something that they care about. But the other coalition camps might not.
[00:14:15] Then you're focused on the thing that you're, you know, at least you perceive to be harmed by. And the other folks, meanwhile, are looking at their pet issue, their, you know, system of oppression, the thing that they care about. And they're trying to galvanize all of, you know, the coalition against that. But all the members of the coalition have their own things that they're focusing on.
[00:14:41] And that's what and that's the scattershot kind of approach in this this splintering of response. And that's why you can't even get, you know, 100 people to go march on the Department of Labor. Which is probably the closest that, like many of those people have ever actually come to real labor. Too soon. Is it too soon? Okay. Here's a great idea.

It's a Pete mail from Philip.
[00:16:24] He says, Pete, we cannot trust what that Lindsay Lee, the Democrat fundraiser, we can't trust what she is saying. She's just trying to deflect blame for losing the elections. Listen, Lee has worked for the Marxists long enough to have come out earlier. You can't trust traitors, even though we like to hear the dirt. We don't need to give her a forum. Well, oh wait, I'm sorry. I think it's from Jeff. Sorry.
[00:16:53] So I do want to hear what she has to say. And I still don't have to trust her, right? But if she has an incentive built in there to repair, I mean, I'm assuming it's to repair the trust that she has lost with her donors. And to try to get them to keep donating money and to believe her, to trust her, that she knows what she's doing when she's fundraising. Right? That's one incentive she could have.
[00:17:21] I mean, the other could be that she's just, you know, in it for fame and stardom. She's going to try to parlay it into something else. That's true, too. But she also knows a lot of this stuff from inside the Democrat circles. And otherwise, we would not know this. Right? If she weren't coming out and saying these things, we would not know it. So I don't think I'm giving her a forum.
[00:17:41] I am giving you the information that she's, I mean, well, but look, truth be told, if she were to call up or, okay, her booking people, if they were to call up and say, hey, Pete, we have no idea who you are, but would you like to interview her? I would say yes, and I'd ask her all sorts of questions. And I would ask her about what you just mentioned there, Jeff. I would ask her about that. Absolutely. Sean says, oh, Sean up in Burnsville. Love your show. Thank you, Sean.
[00:18:11] Have you thought about a name change to calendar since people can't seem to get it right and you could just make it part of your show and persona? Asking for a friend. So I actually had a boss probably 15 years ago tell me that I should just go ahead and change my name to that. I never did. I mean, I guess I could have, but I never did. It would have helped with the doxing and such and the threats and people posting my personal information. It would have helped with that. Sure.
[00:18:40] But it's too late now. It's, you know, I already, I did buy Pete calendar.com. I did buy that URL and it redirects you to the correct spelling. So, I mean, I recognize it's a problem, but whatever. Such is life. So one of the things that Donald Trump did when he took over, this was, I don't know, I guess two weeks ago, maybe three weeks ago.
[00:19:08] And he signed an executive order. Holding former government officials accountable for election interference and improper disclosure of sensitive governmental information. Section one said in the closing weeks of the 2020 presidential campaign, at least 51 former intelligence officials coordinated with the Biden campaign to issue a letter discrediting the reporting that President Joseph R.
[00:19:37] Biden's son had abandoned his laptop at a computer repair business. Signatories of the letter falsely suggested that the news story was part of a Russian disinformation campaign. Multiple signatories held clearances at the time and maintained ongoing contractual relationships with the CIA.
[00:19:57] Federal policymakers must be able to rely on analysis conducted by the intelligence community and be confident that it is accurate, crafted with professionalism, and free from politically motivated engineering to affect political outcomes in the United States. The signatories willfully weaponized the gravitas of the intelligence community to manipulate the political process and undermine our democratic institutions. Lowercase d. Democratic. Democratic.
[00:20:26] This fabrication of the imprimatur of the or imprimatur of the intelligence community is to suppress information essential to the American people during an election is an egregious breach of trust reminiscent of a third world country. And now the faith of Americans in all other patriotic intelligence professionals who are sworn to protect the nation has been imperiled.
[00:20:46] And so with this order, he rescinded, he removed the security clearances of a whole bunch of these people who are no longer working for the government. Like specifically the former CIA director and Marxist John Brennan. And that is appropriate.
[00:21:10] Now, the reason why they let these people keep their clearances, I understand the rationale, but I find it to be pretty weak. The rationale is, well, if we need to bring them in to ask them about some stuff that happened under their watch that we need some, you know, insight on, then then we should be able to do that without having to go through the hoops of, you know, getting the, you know, clearance, you know, reinstated for just this one, you know, debrief or whatever.
[00:21:40] And so they just let them keep it. Although I think it's a kind of a reduced level, but I'm not sure. But either way, either way, I don't think you should get to keep your clearance if you go to work for, say, CNN or MSNBC. And that's not a knock on those specific organizations. I would say the same with Fox, right?
[00:21:59] I don't think you should be on the payroll of a media operation if you are still getting access to classified stuff. Because what happens is you can then go to that media company and tell them something that's not true and say, you know, I know this because I have that clearance still. And you can trust me.
[00:22:28] And the media would then be unable to prove one way or the other. So they just count you as a source with knowledge of the situation. They just write it up like that. And you can feed lies through the media who either is participating unwillingly or unknowingly or doing so because it advances an agenda that they prefer.
[00:22:49] And so I don't think you should keep your your clearances if you're going to be participating in in media stuff like this, like writing these public letters and such. You don't get to keep the the clearance. And when you do participate in something like that, then you lose it. That's a penalty. That's a punishment for what you did for your bad behavior. It's completely appropriate. All right. I hope you had a happy holiday season. But tell me if something like this happened at your house. Your family and friends are gathered around.
[00:23:18] Maybe y'all are in the living room. You're laughing, swapping stories, reminiscing. And then somebody says, hey, dad, remember those old VHS tapes? Did you ever get them transferred? And then the room gets all quiet. All eyes are on dad who says, oh, you know, well, I've been meaning to, but I just haven't gotten around to it. Look, don't let those priceless memories sit in a box for another year. All right. Create a video has been helping families in the Charlotte area preserve their history since 1997.

[00:24:16] We have a call from Alex. He's been waiting patiently. I don't know that actually to be true. He's just been hanging out on hold. Alex, welcome to the program. Hi, it's nice to speak with you. Yes, sir. You too. What's up? Yeah, I've written a letter of support to President Trump, and I just wanted to get your opinion and the opinion of the listening audience to what I've written. Is this a letter to a newspaper or to the president himself? I'm sending it to the president himself. All right. So is it like six pages front and back or something? Oh, no. It's just a page and a half. It's short.
[00:24:45] It's a page and a half. Well, it's on notebook paper right now. So it's a handwritten page and a half? Yes. How fast are you at reading? I'm rather quick. All right. I'm going to say if you hear a gong, then that means that the judges are... No, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. You go ahead, Alex. Let's hear it. Okay, thank you. Uh-huh. Dear President Trump, congratulations on your election win and your inauguration.
[00:25:13] It was a victory for you personally and for the country's future. I watched the inauguration ceremony on television immediately after you took the oath of office. I went out and waved the American flag in front of my house. I haven't flown the flag in four years. As I watched old Glory billowing the brisk breeze against the Carolina blue sky, I felt something I haven't had for a long time. Optum. The mendacity, incompetence, and corruption of the Biden-Harris administration was finally coming to a welcome end.
[00:25:41] The flag I flew belonged to my late father. He served in the Marines in the latter part of World War II. He displayed the flag on all the important holidays on December 7th. By his example, I was taught the value of patriotism. The same love of country I witnessed in my father, I see in you. Thank you for defending the people, border, and culture of America.
[00:26:03] I also want to thank you for recently visiting western North Carolina to see the destruction left behind by Hurricane Helene and offering much-needed aid. The previous administration was more interested in helping illegal aliens than in assisting deserving American citizens devastated by a natural disaster. I hope you can work toward abolishing the Internal Revenue Service and replacing it with a fair tax.
[00:26:27] If the government has gobs of taxpayer money to squander on Guatemalan sex change operations, transsexual Peruvian comic books, and other odd, woke items, it apparently doesn't need our tax money badly. For years, unscrupulous left-wing politicians and their cronies have weaponized the IRS against conservatives. The IRS has become corrupt, abusive, and tyrannical. Thomas Jefferson once said, When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is freedom. From one Scottish American to another,
[00:26:56] I wish you much success and God's blessings during your term of office. Keep up the great work. Sincerely. And then I gave my name and address. I think that's a very fine letter, Alex. Thank you. Yeah. No, you have a gift. There are a lot of people that could not write a letter like that. I think it's a very nice letter. Thank you. I prayed to God for him to give me the right words to say before I wrote this. I feel like he did. Oh, well, see, well, now you're taking credit. God wrote the letter, not you.
[00:27:26] No, I'm kidding. I'm kidding. So no, it's a very good letter. I think you expressed, you covered a lot of different topics and expressed, I think, what sounded like heartfelt praise and optimism. And I think there are a lot of people that agree with it. So no, I think you should send it. Let me know if you get a response that's, you know, something other than like a form letter. But it'd be cool if they sent you some kind of response, you know, something,
[00:27:55] or like he mentioned it, you know, somewhere on the campaign trail or something like that. That'd be pretty cool. Yeah, I mean, I'm just a blue-collar guy from the west side of Charlotte. And it'd be something for that to get mentioned, you know. Yeah. Yeah. Well, you never know. You don't ever know, Alex. Yeah. I appreciate the call, sir. Thanks so much. Yeah. Thank you. All right. Take care. No, it's a very fine letter. And that's the thing, too, I will say. In talking to politicians, elected officials over the years,
[00:28:23] the thing that matters, like, the most, yes, they do take counts when people call the switchboards. You know, when they say, you know, light up the switchboard, call your elected representative, tell them to vote yes or vote no or whatever. They do, like, the people who take those phone calls, they do take a tally, like, almost like a poll. It's unscientific, obviously.
[00:28:46] But if you get a lot of people calling on a particular thing, and it, you know, it's 2,000 calls in favor of something and zero against, that gives the elected leader some sort of indication of where their constituents are on that piece of legislation. So they do keep track of that. But the thing that really has the most impact I have heard from several different elected officials over the course of my career, and it is handwritten letters.
[00:29:16] Somebody who takes the time, especially nowadays, to sit down and write a letter out by hand and send it in, that's somebody who has thought about the thing that they're writing about, and it shows sort of a level of interest and commitment more so than, you know, some form email. That gets, because, like, those things, you know, like, oh, you know, click this email, and it goes to your elected representative, and it's just a form email.
[00:29:46] That's stuff they don't really care about so much because it's so easily abused. A handwritten letter from somebody, let alone multiple people on a particular issue, that can move more so than even the polling by people who are calling in. The handwritten letter. It's very powerful. Something about the pen and the sword or something or other. So I've heard. So I've heard.
[00:30:11] Yeah, so by the way, John Brennan is mad that his security clearance has taken away, but, oh well, so be it. All right, that'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening. I could not do the show without your support and the support of the businesses that advertise on the podcast. So if you'd like, please support them, too, and tell them you heard it here. You can also become a patron at my Patreon page or go to thepeetcalendershow.com. Again, thank you so much for listening, and don't break anything while I'm gone.
