NC judge won't violate separation of powers to try to force a school funding level

The judge presiding over a school funding lawsuit refused to violate the separation of powers embedded in the structure of our government, instead urging the plaintiffs and defendants to work together to get the legislature to fund their 'Comprehensive Remedial' plan. The attempt to get the courts to force the General Assembly to fund education at a certain level mirrors the 'sue and settle' schemes that progressive special interests have been employing to change law without going through lawmaking bodies. Dr. Terry Stoops, Director of the Center for Effective Education at the John Locke Foundation, joins me to discuss the latest development in the nearly-thirty year Leandro case.
