So if you already know who you want to vote for, It's a good idea to go and early vote. There are basically no lines at most of the polling places. You can cast your vote and then you don't have to worry that you may get hit by a bus on before Election Day and not be able to vote. See, like that's how that works. If for some reason you get sick, you get called out of town, you get too busy, you forget whatever. This is the whole reason why you early vote is to bank the vote. If you know who you're going to vote for, go ahead and early vote. I will be doing so myself. Now, there's an interesting report, and then that prompted a tweet from our governor of North Carolina, Governor Josh Stein, a.k.a. Mini Cooper. Stein took to the social media and proceeded to whip up a panic among North Carolina voters about mail-in voting. Okay. As opposed to the female in voting. I'm just kidding. No, they don't, they don't even know what male and female is. No, there's male in voting. And there's a, there's a great cause of concern here because there was a rule change that now it's like, Oh my gosh, all of these ballots are being thrown out. It's suppression. And remember, as we've been covering this week, with the plans for operationalizing a coup, this is one of their red lines. They create the criteria, these leftist NGOs, former USAID people and the intel officers and former military that are all banded together under this big UDA, the United Democracy Alliance. They drew up criteria for the federal government crossing any red lines. And one of those red lines is a quote unquote election meltdown. Well, what does that mean? They'll let you know. Okay. So they create the criteria. They'll let you know if the red lines get crossed. And if they do, uh, basically coup, we're going to create a nullification crisis. We're going to have governors step in and, uh, refuse to allow the federal troops to come in to the state when there's violence on the streets or whatever. Right. The whole point is to create the chaos between now and 2028. But they're looking at this election cycle for any kind of crossing of any red lines. So enter Mini Cooper, Governor Josh Stein. Here's what he sent out. The State Board of Elections' last-minute changes to voting by mail are leading to thousands more absentee ballots being rejected this election at a rejection rate twice as high as in 2022. It's infuriating. North Carolinians, please make a plan to vote this year in person if possible. And if you're voting by mail, make sure you seal both envelopes on your ballot. Don't let them take away your vote. So the rule change is that you have to seal both of the envelopes. That's the big change. Yeah. It would seem to be pretty obvious that you should seal both of the envelopes because if you don't seal one of the envelopes, then it's possible that somebody could go in there and tamper with your vote, tamper with the ballot, or cast the ballot for you or whatever, right? You have two envelopes. One has the ballot and one is for the mail. They're both supposed to be sealed. And if they're not both sealed, well, then the chain of custody is in doubt. Hence, the rule change. You have to have both envelopes sealed. And by the way, nobody's playing hide the ball on this. It's written on the envelopes. Make sure you seal both of the envelopes. You got to follow the directions. Just like when you go vote in person, you have to follow the directions on how to vote in person. I've never heard anybody claiming suppression because, you know, they wanted to go to the one desk where they had the voter rolls and it was letters A through J and their last name starts with an M and they're like, I want to be on that table. Suppression, right? No, you go to the table that has your name in the voter rolls in the book. This is from Stacy Matthews at redstate.com. Though Josh Stein did not share in his tweet where the information came from that he's citing here, WUNC revealed the source. Do you want to guess? All right, I'm going to give you three guesses. Three guesses. Where do you think this information came from? I'm going to give you three guesses, but the first two are not going to count. because you're probably going to guess it pretty quickly, all right? WUNC, quote, Stein was referencing an analysis from the non-profit advocacy group, this is a left-wing activist group, by the way, Common Cause, Common Cause. Its analysis was published Tuesday by Democracy Docket, which even WUNC calls a left-leaning legal group. By the way, this is the way they always describe leftists and their organizations. At best, you will get from them left-leaning, as if they're like, they're right in the middle, but they just, they lean a little bit to the left. They're just a teensy-weensy. They're just kind of like, ah, they're just kind of leaning over there. Versus a right-wing group. Those are right-wing. See, because that sounds way over there. Those right-wingers way over there. demanding we seal both envelopes that's fascism so they're a left-leaning legal group involved in a lawsuit seeking to block the new mail-in ballot processing guidelines okay so what does this mean it means that governor josh stein a democrat is regurgitating leftist talking points that's what that's what he's doing and he's doing it in order to make people afraid about the integrity of the election, which brings us back to the UDA and the operationalizing of a coup that we've been talking about for the last three days and that the legacy media outlets have been ignoring, right? The plans that have been created amongst all of these leftist or left-leaning groups for the past two years. This is part of it. Election meltdown. Questions about whether the election is rigged. I also pointed this out yesterday, right? If all the polls are showing that Democrats are going to win every race on the ballot, what happens if they don't? Rigged, election meltdown, protests in the streets, right? You're looking for the spark. You're looking for something that triggers an excuse to go marching, which then allows the shock troops to come in and get violent. And you may be there as a peaceful protester. And then you may go home after you've walked the mile with your placard. But then the sun goes down and the thugs come out and they burn in loot and riot. And that's part of the operationalized plan. And so each one of these groups fulfill a different role in the larger plan that the UDA has created. And so if you can raise... fears that the election is being stolen because the polling showed we were supposed to win every race. And then, of course, we find out that two of the polling outfits lied about their polls. Right? Yesterday was Wedgwood. A couple weeks before, it was Median. So they lied about their polls to create the illusion that there was this massive support for Democrats in various states in various races. So.... Am I supposed to ignore this? Am I supposed to ignore the fact that Democracy Docket is at the heart of this? Do you know who founded Democracy Docket? I'll give you three guesses again. Mark Elias. The guy who has sued Republican legislatures, including ours, for the past decade. Hillary Clinton's campaign lawyer. The cutout for the steel dossier Russia collusion hoax. That guy, Mark Elias. Yeah. He's the founder of Democracy Docket. I feel like that's an important piece of information that maybe should have been mentioned somewhere in any of these reports. I do appreciate it. I am excited. Okay. And I really am sincere. I hope you know that, that I do appreciate your taking my calls because I think our back and forths are good. You and I may be the only two people in Charlotte that would believe that. Given the response from the text line, I think you and I may be the only ones who agree with that statement. Well, we'll see. It's a start. Key people are always a start. I have been listening on and off in the last few days about this subject that you're on now, and so I won't pretend to know everything that you've been saying and mentioning, but you talked about the importance of mentioning certain things and And I agree with that. And there are a few things that I think I have not heard you mention, and that's why I'm calling. And I may be missing some things, but it's not really the Democrats that are using the term stolen and rigged when they're talking about elections. It's much more from the Republican side, and it starts, of course, with the chief Republican, the leading Republican, he uses that term stolen and rigged every time he gets behind a podium. And speaking of the president, one other thing I really do think that's worth mentioning that really hasn't been talked about is to remind folks that, you know, there have been 45 individuals in the history of our great nation that have held the office of president. Only one of those individuals, when told by dozens of different advisors and supporters and his own supporters that he had lost a free and fair election, nonetheless works and conspires for two and a half months and basically says, well, I don't care whether I've lost the election. I will work and do everything I can to stay in power. Yes, we are aware of that framing of the story. You're not telling this audience or me anything that we haven't already heard. We understand what the Democrat position is on that. Well, it's not a Democrat position. Oh, it absolutely is. Oh, gosh. No, that's the media framing. That's the Democrat framing of what occurred. So how would you frame Donald Trump's behavior? Well, you've covered a lot. You start off with this long windup, and you throw in a bunch of different topics. So which one would you like me to go after? Because I only got about two minutes. Okay, well, let's start with whether you do, in fact, think it's important about– Donald Trump's behavior after the 2020 election and whether that should cause any citizen that loves this country to be at all. Again, so what is it? Because now you're asking me multiple questions to address. Should we be concerned that a president who has tampered with the elections before. Once again, now you're loading up a leading question trying to embed. Before I can even answer. How Donald Trump did not tamper in that way. If you can explain to me how he did not tamper with the 2020 election, maybe. I'll feel better. What do you mean tamper with the election? I mean. conspiring with a small group of individuals to come up with schemes in the swing states so that fake electors could be presented and that the actual result of the 2020. Election would not be enacted. So I can tell you that. What the proponents of that strategy, and these were legal minds that also proposed that strategy too, right? Just as you know, as a lawyer, you know this, that lawyers have different opinions and And some of these lawyers that were advising him, it's not like Donald Trump knows electoral law and the alternate slate and all of that, which, by the way, I would remind you. that this was also something that the Democrats, Hillary Clinton, talked about as well, right? They talked about the faithful or faithless electors. Remember that whole thing? So this isn't a new idea. This wasn't a novel concept. There were lawyers that were advising him to go that route. You could disagree with that route and argue against that route. That's what he had legal advisors telling him was possible. Do I agree with that? No, I did not agree with that. But that doesn't matter. So the fact that he chose to surround himself with people who would. You said yourself he had people telling him other things. He had difference of opinion. He had other people that were telling him, don't do this. And he made a choice. You can advise your client on what you think would be the best route to go. But in the end, it's up to the client. And he went and this was the direction he went. And need I remind you, 2020 was a weird election. It was weird. Remember COVID? Remember the collusive agreement in North Carolina and the mail in ballots and the absentee ballots in the basement campaign that Biden was running? It was weird. There was a lot of opportunity for fraud to occur. Okay, but you've got to acknowledge this is not what he is saying. He is saying they won in a landslide. You asked me what I thought. I'm not the Trump whisperer. Donald Trump lacks all message discipline. Completely. He says things all the time that are all over the place. You asked me what I thought. You asked me what my thoughts and opinions on that matter were. What are your thoughts in terms of the present day, whether this... president who's exhibited that kind of behavior, you're saying there should be nothing for us to worry about in terms of his abiding by and not tampering with the present election. We're just being worry warts in that regard. Yes, you are. Yes, you are. You've given over to Trump derangement syndrome. You have. You have allowed your anxiety and hatred of one guy to cloud all your perspective. Trump, Pete, it's never been about hatred. I look at what I see. I'm sure. It's true. I totally believe that. I would love for him to have come in and basically taken the economy that he was getting and taken... Now. You're on to another topic, Mike, so I got to leave you there. All right, real quick. Every government number gets revised, right? Every projection gets walked back. Gold does not file corrections like GovCo. Revelation Gold Group helps families hold physical gold and silver, including in a tax-advantaged gold IRA. It's real, it's in your. Name, and 10 minutes tells you. Or if you want to talk to somebody, you can call 888-465-3049. I'm only going to read a couple of these from the text line. Andy, the plumber, says regarding Mike's call, classic example of we can do it, but you can't. It's totally fine for us, but don't you dare. Democrat privilege. Great show. Yeah. Yeah. The. The assertion that the election was rigged. I'm old enough to remember that this started after Hillary lost in twenty sixteen. when all the polls were showing that she was going to mop the floor with Donald Trump. And then she did not. And the only reason that could have been was because Russia, Russia, Russia, right? So like spare me the umbrage because I saw it happen in 2016. The election was rigged, undermining faith and confidence in the elections and all of that. And then in 2020, when elections, were, as I said to Mike, pretty weird, right? It was a pretty weird election. We had the COVID rules. We had the collusive settlement in North Carolina. So yeah, there were the basement campaign. You had the weaponization of the government against Trump for four years. You had all of these agencies and the deep state quote unquote actors that were, you know, doing everything they could to tear down the duly elected president of the United States. I remember that. And it's still going on. So that's the, that's the way that people on the right see what has occurred. So when Trump was trying to find proof of the theory that the election was corrupted and there were all these shenanigans going on and we had ballots in Atlanta and the shutdown of polling places and counting stations and all these different reports that were going on in the 2020 election. He went and sought legal guidance to get what he wanted. And he found some lawyers who made that argument for him. And then he followed their legal advice. Again, I would not have followed that legal advice, but he did. And that was his choice. And then he left office. And then you filed a bunch of charges against him, tried to imprison him for the rest of his life. He tried to bankrupt him and his companies, tried to take his companies. And people saw that. And then you shot him. So.... Then he won again, right? And he won more bigly than he won the first time. And then we're seeing all the same stuff. So this anxiety that the left has just whipped itself into this frothing paranoia about this guy, right? Have you ever stopped to consider that you are actually making him worse? That because of the way you're behaving, you actually provide evidence that what he may think about you and your intentions towards him, that those are true? Have you ever stopped to think about that? I said from day one, Democrats could have basically gotten anything they wanted from this administration from the first term had they just played nice with him. All he had to do was flatter the guy. I'm not saying that as like, oh, that's a great trait to have. But I could tell that was the way to get Trump's support for something. Just tell him he's the best. You're awesome. You're going to be known throughout history as the president who did fill in the blank. You work with him on stuff, you probably get a lot of what you wanted. The guy was a 1980s Democrat, for crying out loud. So, now you went another route. Let me see here. I had a message from Bob. Mike asks for you to prove a negative. Yeah, there was some of that. But the most important fact against his conjectures is four years of old Biden. Yeah, so it's hard for me to now view these types of actions that the left is taking. these press releases, these tweets that the governor sent out about, oh my gosh, they're not counting ballots. It's hard for me to see these things outside of what we've been talking about for the last three days with the United Democracy Alliance and their plan to operationalize a legitimacy crisis leading to a nullification crisis and potentially a coup. That's their plan. And that's not me theorizing. That's their plan as articulated on Zoom calls. And these aren't just a bunch of, you know, crazy radical leftists that are in their mom's basement. No, no. These are like 1,500 former Intel, USAID, military people, ambassadors, right? This is the elite stratosphere of the Democrat machine. and the quote unquote deep state actors. These are people that lost their jobs and their jobs at USAID were color revolutions. And so when you know what a color revolution is and you know how they went about doing them, you can see the actions that we are seeing and say, oh, this is part of that playbook. And that's not me saying like there's some nebulous playbook. There is literally a playbook Literally a playbook. A manual. And they literally distributed it after Trump won in 24. So, I'm not going to be gaslit, okay? I'm not going to be gaslit that I don't see what I'm actually seeing. Just like I refused to be gaslit on Joe Biden and his deteriorating mental capacity. His cognitive abilities were in decline. And you told me I'm crazy. Oh, Pete, you're not seeing that thing that you're seeing. Okay, fine. I mean, he's old, he's old. And that's there. They're attacking him because he's old. No, it's not because he's old. It's because he was in cognitive decline. And then when you couldn't hide that any longer, then you all threw another coup and you kicked him out and you put Kamala Harris up. So this is kind of on brand for y'all, right? See, if you swap out the word democracy in all of these conversations and all these organizations' names and what they claim to be defenders of, if you just take out the word democracy and just swap it out for Democrat Party, it all makes more sense. It all makes a lot more sense. Why would the party that claims to be the defenders of democracy not have primaries? For their presidential nominee. Why would you not do that for like, I don't know, what's it been, three cycles now? Two cycles. Why would you not do that? And Josh Stein is out there promoting this analysis from the left-wing organization Common Cause. They get called an advocacy group because they're of the left. If they were on the right, they'd be called activists or right-wing groups or whatever. But when you are a nonprofit on the left, you're just an advocacy group. And it was published by Democracy Docket, Mark Elias' organization. Highly partisan. So would they be trying to undermine confidence in a free and fair election by promoting this stuff? Because when you hear the data, yeah, they're wrong. All right, so what Governor Josh Stein sent out was that the State Board of Elections last-minute changes to voting by mail are leading to thousands more absentee ballots being rejected this election at a rejection rate twice as high as in 2022. Now, if you read through what the actual data says, and kudos to WUNC, that actually talked to elections officials to find out what the deal was because the, the report, the analysis that was done by the leftist group, common cause, North Carolina, working with the Southern coalition for social justice, another left-wing nonprofit founded by current Supreme court judge Anita Earls and run previously by another Supreme court Democrat judge, Alison Riggs. Um, So those are the two Democrats on the Supreme Court of our state. They're both Southern Coalition for Social Justice lawyers. So they compiled data from 27 counties in North Carolina. There are 100 counties, but they took 27 county data. And using absentee review monitors. Those are people. Okay, those are just people. Regular people, volunteer advocates. Not activists, because these are lefties. So they're advocates. For good government, clean elections, you know. The data reveals ballots are so far being rejected at a rate of around 3%. Okay, so 3%. Some of those rejections were likely not due to the new rules. The new rules are simply that you have to seal both envelopes when you mail in your ballot instead of leaving one unsealed where, you know, somebody could tamper with it. Ballots can actually be rejected for numerous reasons, but the 3% total rejection rate is double the rejection rate of the entire nation in the 2022 election. Oh, what? Oh, yeah, yeah. 3% is double the rejection rate of the entire nation. So they took 3%. and compared it to the entire nation, which, by the way, every state has different rules on mail-in ballots. So is that really a good comparison? Wouldn't a better comparison be North Carolina to North Carolina year to year, right? Wouldn't that be better? Well, WUNC did that. And what they found, rather than a doubling, which is what Josh Stein, our governor, sent out to create a panic about the rigging of elections, we went from, in 2022, we went from a rejection rate of 2.6% to now 3.1%. And by the way, when you have a ballot that's rejected, you can cure Like the the election office calls you and they're like, hey, you need to cast a new ballot because you didn't follow the rules. You didn't seal both of the ballots. So you can drop by and vote early or you can do another mail in or whatever, like you can cure your ballot. And so that rate is not fixed. That rate will change because you have the ability to cure it, and then that rate comes down, you see. The 3% drops when people cure their ballots. The main point of contention in the election board's new guidance requires officials to reject mail-in ballots that are not sealed properly with the two the outer envelope and the inner envelope, a federal court judge earlier this week declined to block these new rules that were adopted actually like two months ago. Neither of the two challenged provisions, which are clearly stated on the absentee ballot materials, that the voter signed his or her own name and placed the ballot in a sealed envelope provided by the County Board of Elections, Neither of the two challenged provisions is burdensome. The judge said, so what's the problem here over at WBTV? This is from a story by Naomi Coles. Um, In Mecklenburg County, elections director Mike Dickerson said that about 250 out of 572 spoiled absentee ballots so far had been rejected because of the new signing requirement. What does that mean? So the double envelope requirement is only responsible for less than half of all of the rejected ballots. So in other words, the rule change would not have affected, like, 300 of the ballots. 250 are rejected because of the mistake that somebody made by not sealing one or both of the ballots. Of the 250, every one of them had been contacted, and 50 of the 250 so far had either returned new ballots that complied with the requirements or rejected In one case, voted early in person instead. So they've actually cured 50 of the 250. So now you're down to just 200 that are only due to the new guidelines. Over the lifetime of the election cycle in 2022, Dickerson said 9% of total absentee ballot requests were spoiled. As of this point in the election cycle so far, the spoilage rate is 3%. Huh. Well, that sounds a little different than what Governor Josh Stein wants you to believe, and Common Cause, and Democracy Docket, and Mark Elias. and the Southern Coalition for Social Justice. I wonder why they would want people to be paranoid that the election is somehow being stolen from them. Hmm. Hmm. That's a real brain buster. Because it's only Donald Trump that talks about rigged elections, right? All right, that'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening.
