More evidence the FBI targeted Trump using info it knew was false | Hour 1

It's kind of an old story, but a new development to the old story. And I know it's very fashionable now for people to be claiming that there is no difference between the two parties. Ord Vince just say it right, this whole uniparty idea. And I understand sort of that a more of an esthetic level, like why people say that. I do get that. But if you honestly don't see any difference between the two political parties right now, I don't think you are in touch with reality. Right that because the parties. For example, just today, the Senate Judiciary Committee voted to recommend contempt of Congress charges for doctor Anthony the Science Fauci and it was a party line vote, eight seven, split right down party lines. Democrats opposed it. So is that a difference when you have one party that's like, yeah, we want to hold Faucian contempt and Ran Paul is out there saying he wants to bring more people like Bill Gates into the committee about the origins of COVID. I would I would mark that as a difference. Right, So they there are differences between the parties. For example, one of them is not, you know, embracing the Red Green. Alliance and another one is. So one of them seems to be steeped in third worldism, Fennonne style critical theory, right, the other does not. Those are That's a pretty that's a pretty big difference to me. So anyway, this is another one of those examples I'm about to get into. As I said, it's kind of an old story. But I am old enough to remember when this happened. Okay, you may not be, but I am. I want to take you back two. Let's see here, I have the actual date. Hmm. This would have been yes, May of twenty seventeen. All right, so you were probably in like elementary school or something. So I'm not sure you're aware of this, But the FBI opened a criminal probe targeting the sitting president and they did it. The FBI did it because the people in the FBI were mad that Trump fired their friend. James Comy. So this is like, this is new information, now declassified, and now we have the timeline. So this from John Solomon, who used to be the editor in chief of Just the News justthnews dot com, but he is on leave from that position while he is working as the chairman of the White House Government Transparency Task Force, Okay, And he put together this piece for the White House website and then allowed anybody in media. To publish it. So if your favorite news website is not publishing this story, then you've got a pretty good idea of what they determine news to be, because this is news. So the FBI opened a criminal probe specifically targeting Donald Trump in May twenty seventeen, alleging the newly elected president may have been acting as a Russian asset when he fired the director of the FBI at the time, James Comy. Okay, So the argument that the FBI people were making in their memos now declassified was that Trump fired Komy because Trump works for Putin. However, slight problem because they already knew that all of the Trump Russia collusion hoax was in fact a hoax. They already knew this. They already were aware of the false information, the speculation, the rumor mongering of the Steele dossier. Right, they knew that all of the allegations came from a political smear job out of the Hillary Clinton campaign a year prior. They were already aware of all of that. But they launched an investigation that he's connected to Russia because they were mad that he fired Jim Comy. And the only reason that. You would ever want to fire James Comy is because you work for Putin. Obviously, internal memos newly declassified by the White House show the investigation code named Oxford Comma. And let me pause there for a moment, because the word Oxford is not used here. It's Oxford O x F E R D Oxford. So why would you misspell the name of the operation when it's, you know, the Oxford Comma, which, by the way, apparently James Comy was a big supporter of the Oxford Comma and I share that support, I do. Maybe the only thing I have in common with James Comy that that we that we have an affinity for the use of the Oxford comma, which is superior. In case people do not know what. The Oxford comma is because your commie teachers didn't teach you. The Oxford comma is like if you're doing a list of things, you know, like if I were to say, I see the colors you know, red, yellow, and green, okay, and so you would put a comma after red, and then if you put the comma after yellow, that's the Oxford comma. Some people don't believe in the Oxford comma. These are what we call monsters, okay. And what happens then is that sometimes depending on what you are listing out, it could be very confusing because the last three words are going to be yellow and green or something like that, and it could become confusing based on what those words might be. So the Oxford comma is superior. You put the Oxford comma in there in order to separate the three different items. Okay, So they misspelled Oxford and with the word comma, they did not use the letter Oh apparently they used as zero so see zero mma. Why would you do that, why would you misspell both of the words of the investigation? Foyer requests if anybody ever caught wind of the name of the investigation and you submitted a Foyer request, give me everything that you've got in the government files on the Oxford Comma investigation. And then they go to the database and they do the search Oxford Comma. Nothing shows up because nobody would think to spell Oxford. Zero Mma. They wouldn't spell it like that. That's my that's my belief, I mean, because otherwise I don't know why you'd because that is not usual to misspell the names of the investigations. So Oxford Comma was launched in the immediate aftermath of homi's May ninth, twenty seventeen firing, and was predicated on an allegation that previously released memos show the bureau's own agents had mostly dismissed. You'll recall this probe. The Oxford Comma probe prompted the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Muller by Rod Rosenstein or Stein I never knew how to pronounce it. I think it's Rosenstein. And then that investigation ran almost two years, which hampered the start of the Trump presidency, even though Muller's team, just like the FBI before, it was unable to substantiate any collusion between Russia and Trump's campaign during the twenty sixteen election. So they already knew the information about the Russia smear came from Hillary. They knew this stuff wasn't correct. They had already debunked the allegation, but they launched a probe anyway as punishment against Trump for firing their friend. A subsequent investigation by Special Council John Durham concluded there was no basis for the FBI to even open the original probe called Crossfire Hurricane. There was no basis to even open that investigation. And by the way, there are people to this day that believe Russia helped Trump win. Russia changed vote totals, Russia hacked the election machines, Russia paid a bunch of money to Trump, Trump worked for Russia. Russia's got compromant on Trump that he does their bidding, whatever, like all of these things. This is like half of Democrats believe this stuff. Still, the memos are being released as federal prosecutors in Fort Pierce, Florida, reportedly investigate whether the FBI, DOJ, anden in heligence agencies engaged in an ongoing conspiracy to violate the civil rights of Trump and his supporters through repeated criminal investigations that lacked evidence of wrongdoing. Oh pete, this is so long ago. Who cares? Why are you dredging this all back up? Now? This is what's called accountability. See, it takes time to build these cases. It takes time to find documents, It takes time to connect the dots. And put the puzzle pieces together. It takes time, but it has to be done, Just like with the COVID origin stuff. Every person I know who still believes Russia helped steal the twenty sixteen election through hacking voting machines also firmly believe twenty twenty was the most secure election in history and Biden totally got more votes than Obama. Ever did it is? Yeah that then diagram that Kamala Harris loves so much. That would be like just a circle, one circle, you know, just complete overlap. Hank says, I was taught that the ox I was taught the Oxford Comma at school. So when I started noticing sentences without it, I thought, what's going on? But if Comy loves the Oxford Comma, I may have to reconsider Yeah. Same. I mean, look, an idea is not responsible for the people that think it's a good idea. You know, I can't blame the Oxford Comma because James Comy likes it, you know. Stacy says, when are we going to just finally admit it use the word coo? Yeah, I have I That is what the Intel agencies attempted to do. So and individuals inside the Intel agencies. Now a lot of them got pardons, right, a lot of the Biden people got pardons, or a lot of the Intel people got pardons from Biden because you know, we're so afraid that Donald Trump is going to weaponize the DOJ like we did essentially. But yeah, I mean, it has all of the it has all of the elements of a coup. It was not successful, but they did. They did, you know, put a lot of sand in the gears and basically deprived him of being able to govern. This is why I say, and I've said for years, you know, the message that the left is communicating is that you may win an election, but you will not govern. You will not be permitted to govern. We control the gears of the state, and this is what people ca you know, the deep state. We have the we have the bureaucracy. And if the people that are in the government, that work you know, in the civil service, if they if they object to your politics or they don't like you, then they will slow everything down, jam it all up, leak stuff, they'll undermine your presidency. This is at a scale that I'm not sure we've ever seen. I'm not aware. I mean I've said this before that, the that, this scandal, the Crossfire hurricane investigation, this now Oxford common thing like this is as bad, actually worse than Watergate. I believe that. And I know Watergate is held up as like the penultimate example of you know, great journalisming and such and government corruption. But this, this is really really bad, and it is why people don't have confidence in government institutions. It's one of the reasons COVID's another big reason. More from the text line, David says, the Oxford Comma thing rings just like the Jim Comey thing. I wonder who they learned it from. Patrick says, Pete, you are spitting facts and I love it. Thank you. One of the biggest problems in our modern society is just that too many afraid to upset others simply by telling the truth. If you aren't part of the solution, you are clearly a part of the problem. Two or three Hall of Famers didn't Sam Mills go in as a panther. TK. I think you're texting the wrong text line. I think you may be trying to hit up our sister station, the BFNZ. Greg says, I ran into a couple with California plates on the car. I asked them what brought them to North Carolina. They said they lost their jobs in California, so they moved here. The reason they moved here was not for jobs. They came here to help vote Democrat because they felt that California is doing things right and the rest of the country is wrong. They feel they could go back to California if the rules were even in all the states. No, you can't. You will not be able to do that unless you don't spend any of the money that you sold your house for. That's yeah. So in other words, you have to drive up the cost of living everywhere to match California's. So this way you'll be able to afford to go back to California. Yeah, that's just stupid, but that does track. They are from California, so. All right. So records show. That James Comey was fired on the on the merits Right for what he had done because the DOJ believed that he mishandled the Hillary Clinton email investoration. That's why he got fired. By the time, the FBI tried to portray Trump as under Putin's grip to justify the opening of the Oxford Comma investigation. It had also learned that the original allegations of collusion came from Hillary Clinton's campaign and were funneled to the FBI in a dossier written by a former British spy named Christopher Steele, who was paid by the Clinton campaign's law firm. This is why I call Mark Elias the bagman, because he was the go between and the Steele dossier's contents had mostly been uncorroborated or debunked and were part of a political dirty trick. The FBI knew this. The first warning signs of these concerns actually emerged in late summer of twenty sixteen, so before the election, right when CIA director John Brennan personally briefed then Isident Barack Obama and the FBI that US Intel had intercepted Clinton's plan on or about July twenty sixth, twenty sixteen, and the plan, as laid out, was to manufacture a scandal alleging Trump was conspiring with Russia to hijack the election. So they knew it in the summer and then they said, well, let's implement it. The Intel made clear Clinton's plan was to smear Trump, and it was shared directly with the FBI, including Komi, on August third, twenty sixteen. This is according to a classified annex to a DOJ report that was made public last year. We covered it at that time that briefing occurred just four days after the Crossfire Hurricane probe was launched into alleged Russia collusion. This from David st hotair dot com, one of my favorite sites. Donald Trump was president of the US, James Comy was his employee. Comy was terrible at his job and was engaged in a massive conspiracy to slander and perhaps imprison the president, pushing conspiracy theories that he knew to be false, leaking false information to the media through intermediaries, including information that was classified, and hence he broke the law. President Trump fired him. Comy's allies in the FBI opened a criminal investigation into the President for exercising his constitutional duties as chief executive of the United States. Welcome to the intelligence community in the USA, where technocrats and political cronies believed they exercised the real power, not elected officials or the voters. It wasn't just a matter of timing that this investigation was opened. It was opened precisely because the president exercise his legal powers in a way that displeased FBI officials. There is no question about the connection between the two events, and no justification beyond the fact that they didn't like what Trump did. They already knew he was not a Russian agent. They knew the Steele dossier, which they had shopped to the media, was filled with false information. Democrats in the media, But I repeat myself, keep mouthing the nostrum that nobody is above the law, right, But what they really mean is that the permanent bureaucracy is the law. They get to decide. This is from I believe it's Catherine Herridge maybe, or maybe it's the Washington Times. No, Catherine herrit jem. One of the most concerning elements of the FBI Russia collusion probes was circular reporting. I've talked about this mechanism as well. This is similar to Nancy Pelosi's the what did she call it? This smear? Oh, what did she call it? I'm drawing a blank on what she called it. It was something like the smear. So here's how it works. FBI officials or they will use a cutout, They'll use a proxy, They leak information to a reporter. The reporter then publishes the leak. Then those same FBI officials cite the resulting media story to justify further investigative actions, including surveillance warrants that they took out on Trump associates. Right, But the information that prompted the warrants came from the FBI. They put the story into the media. The media as a lapdog, runs the story. Then the FBI uses that to merchandise, as Pelosi called it, That's what happened, and we have all of the we have all the proof. So thank you to Walt, Steve David, Jeff Beth's favorite, Russ. Kevin M. Yeah, the wrap up smear. They all texted in with the I could not remember the name what Nancy Pelosi called it. It was the wrap up smear. I knew it was smear because the way she pronounced the word was. It's unsettling to me, but wrap the wrap up smear. I don't know why she calls it that, but like that is what Catherine Herridge describes as well in this circular reporting. That's what she calls it. Another story kind of old but also important for accountability's sake. For years, former President Joe Biden has fought the release of tapes that were acquired by former Special Counsel Robert Herr in his investigation Remember this Guy. After those efforts collapsed this month, it became clear why Biden and his aides were so determined to keep the public from seeing the evidence. In addition to showing Biden's mental diminution even before he was elected president, the tapes showed that Biden effectively confessed to the crimes that her would later excuse on the grounds of his mental infirmity. This is from Jonathan Turley Biden's interviews with his biographer, a guy by the name of Mark Zwantitzer, conducted four years before he would be elected president. Years before he was elected, the interviews show that Biden was already having trouble remembering names and dates. Her was tasked with determining whether Biden had committed the same crimes that led later to charges against President Donald Trump. Remember this the rash of all of these people with classified documents stored in their garages and such, the retaining of classified material, mishandling the material. Right. It turns out that Biden had already admitted to the alleged crimes years before the documents were found in various offices and his garage. Despite all the evidence of knowledge and use of the classified materials, Biden and his aides suggested that no one had been aware of their removal and repeated transfer. They were just moving some boxes around. I didn't even know I had that stuff. While at the same time he had the raid on mar A Lago to search for classified material removed by Trump. The Justice Department granted Biden and his team every possible accommodation, though so a raid on Trump's house no raid on Biden's then came the searches of his home with the pictures of files in his garage and his office and other locations. These included clearly marked classified material. Special Counsel Robert Hurr then issued his report concluding there was evidence of the crimes, but he would not charge Biden, as Special Counsel Jack Smith had done to Donald Trump. Do you remember why her. Declared he would not bring a single charge because Biden quote would likely present himself to a jury, as he did in our interview of him as a sympathetic, well meaning elderly man. With a poor memory, and at the time, like, I understood why her would say that, because when you sit down and talk to Joe Biden for the extended period of time that her did, it became very clear like, if you put this guy up on the stand, a jury is probably going to view him exactly like that. He's not going to remember stuff. He's just an old fuddy duddy whatever. Like I understand the rationale. I don't agree with it, but I understood the argument. But we now know that Biden himself was in fact that irresponsible, if not more so. Biden not only kept classified material longer and an even less secure locations than Trump, but he did nothing to protect the material even as he attacked Trump over Mara a Lago. The tapes from the interview that Biden had fought to prevent their release. The tape show Biden struggling to give answers even before he announced his candidacy for the presidency. This despite denials from key aids like Jen circle Back, Pasaki and Caringe Jeanpierre. However, Her had actual tapes showing that Biden had clear memory and knowledge of his retention of classified material. Because he's on tape talking to his biographer about them, like making comments like, oh, you probably shouldn't be looking at this. This is classified stuff. Man. Combined with Biden's later public statements, the combination would have been deadly at trial. Turley goes on to say later, where Trump acknowledged his retention of classified material and agreed to security measures that the FBI requested, Biden did not inform anybody of his classified materials, and he kept them in his garage long after the mar A Lago raids. Meanwhile, in public, he expressed shock that any president would act as recklessly as Trump. It's hard to see how any of that would present a sympathetic, well meaning elderly man with a poor memory. It sounds more like a cynical, shrewd politician with poor ethics. It also sounds like it would have been a strong foundation for a prosecution. Turley concludes that the record is now largely complete, and so is the inescapable conclusion. Bid lacked clarity on most everything but his alleged crimes. His deception and culpability were established in both the Swantitzer and her interviews.
