I think in this primary, in the Republican primary, Donald Trump's indictments are a really perfect storm of these issues. There's another victim now in similar circumstances this one out of Georgia her name was Lakin Hope Riley and she was attacked while jogging in Athens Thusly, quote, the killing of a nursing student out for a run highlights the fears of solo female athletes. That was their focus. And by the way, that is intentional. You do not write a story like this as a journalist.

[00:04:21] You don't write a story like this except that's pretty awesome for you guys right. I wonder what's happening, but

[00:06:44] must be thinking. They flee the economic crisis and the criminals and then it turns out, oh my gosh, the criminals followed us too because of the economic crisis.

[00:06:51] Carol Capps runs regularly in the forested area of the University of Georgia campus where

[00:06:58] the body of a 22-year-old nursing student was found earlier this week after she was

[00:07:02] reported missing from a morning run. 24-year-R, Janie Harr. Janie Harr writes this sentence, and her editor's obviously approved of this sentence, as media as a mere observer, right? The reporter is simply just observing the way things are happening and just letting you know,

[00:08:21] like, oh, the death has once again put the spotlight

[00:08:24] on the dangerous female runner's face.

[00:08:27] Okay, what spotlight? thing that most people think of when they see this story, unless of course they're reading your story and you've omitted the fact that the person was here illegally, oh and had had interactions with law enforcement prior to this crime. He could have been removed, but he wasn't.

[00:09:43] But he wasn't. asking him questions about this and he was like, I've been here for 40 minutes and I was only supposed to be here for like 30 minutes. He got all upset and he like stormed out. Anyway, he just posted on to the Twitter machine, when Trump ran on immigrants are violent criminals in 2015, his party was mostly skeptical of the idea.

[00:11:01] But eight plus years of Trump and eight plus years of Fox amplifying Trump have shifted

[00:11:06] the GOP base. And I can tell you why it's not true because I freaking remember talking about it Okay, we were talking about it in George W Bush remember with Lindsey Graham nasty. How do you think he got that name? The gang of eight John McCain they were trying to do a path to citizenship Which was amnesty why?

[00:27:05] It does make, I mean, that protect myself, said Abu, who said he could not help but think of the recent unprovoked slashing of another Amazon worker in the Bronx. Right?

[00:28:20] So in Abu's mind, he had just seen he lives at a shelter just a few blocks away from the scene of the crime here. And he was charged with petty larceny and public lewdness. He was released without bail, because it's, you know, New York.
