Marie is very angry at me! | Hour 2

This episode is presented by Create A Video – In a discussion about the critical race theory that has been injected into the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of History, I angered a listener named Marie who texted (a lot) and then called in to explain how stupid I am. But I'm not sure it worked out very well for her.

All Right, so, last hour I started talking about this report that was done on the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. Gave you some of the. Some of their white culture in the United States. This was one of the items in their toolkit that they promoted. It came up during the congressional hearing. We will play a clip from that hearing in moments. But as I understand it, the texter from the last hour, nine eight zero has called in. Marie. Welcome to the show. Okay, so you are How can I confirm that you are in fact the nine to eight zero number? How do we confirm this? I mean, because I'm calling you from the number. So what I wanted to say is that I feel like my message was misunderstood. I'm not a racist one. And what I said about a genetic annihilation that is not genocide. There is a real fear in America of of of of white genetic annihilation that in a few years, when you know it's it's it's white people are are genetically recessive. In a few years, when white people have children with people who are not white, the children will no longer be considered white. In some places, some people will not see them as white and so and some of them won't claim to be white. They would just you know, say what they look like. So what I'm saying is that genetics annihilation. Some white people do fear that the mathid will no longer be the majority in America. So I said that the statement that was made from the Smithsonian, you know, that statement that you were seeing about if that was a failed attempt to you know, cause fear that you know, are not fear, but to exalt white people as if they're you know, the the best of the of the planet. You know, when it's really an attempt to persuade people to feel like, you know, how white people are are killing black people in the street and and and online. Do you think white people, Like, hang on a second, do you think white people are killing black people in the street? They are? They are, and if they don't talk about it the same way that that the situation where Arena is talked about is many that. No, there was no attention paid to George Floyd, that guy. It's not because that's not what I'm calling about. I'm calling about my statement being misunderstood. That it's that genetic annihilation is not genocided. Okay, So first off, all right, I'm going to go back to your original statement that you said, because that's the only one I actually read on the air, because then you started spamming and I didn't read all of the rest. The first the only statement I read from you was that whiteness is absolutely not the standard. Even as the majority in America, you are still the minority in the world. Exclamation point. Whiteness is not the standard and it does not equal good. So like, where did you get that from? That fact? Just right? Where? But who made that? But who made that? Who was making that argument? That is the image that is that is created when people make statements like that that whiteness is the is the standard. Who said whiteness is the standard. Who said that you read the statement. I did not read that statement. I read the statement twice. While you're addressing that, you need to address why you don't know what genetic annihilation is. I know what you're done. No, No, I know what you Marie. I know what Marie. That's not what you say. I never talked about genetic annihilation. You you started talking about that you want. White people to die, and that's not what I said. But right before that, you were talking about how people don't listen. I'm going to get to that, Marie, what they want to hear, Marie. That's what you did. Yeah, Marie, I'm going to get to that, Marie. I'm going to get to that. I'm walking you through your statement that I read, because when you said whiteness is not the standard and it does not equal good, and then you said, that's the statement you read. But I did not read that statement. I read too. I read it twice actually, which came from the Smithsonian, and that's not what the Smithsonian said. The statement that you read insinuated that whiteness is the standard of America, as if it was what every Americans is strive for. And that is just absolutely that's not what. I never said that. That's insane. Who would say so? Who would say that, Marie? That's see, this is why, Marie, This is why, Marie. This is why I said you that your text sounded kind of racisty because you are ascribing a whole bunch of characteristics and thoughts to an entire race of people. No, now you are. You may not realize you're doing it, Marie, but you are. When you're dedicated to misunderstanding what I'm saying. Because if you if you felt that way, then you wouldn't have assumed that's what I meant. You wouldn't have even assumed that's what I mean. Instead of instead of just reading, I. Don't know what you mean. You're not being very clear. That's why I'm telling you, Marie, Marie. I don't know, Marie. I don't know, Marie. Marie, Marie, Marie, Marie, I don't know what you mean because you're not being clear and what you're saying. And so what I am simply saying to you is when you say something that is unclear, I'm telling you. So you're not Look at you, Marie. You can't even let me finish a sentence before you start screaming. See like again, like Marie, Marie, you're not going to talk over Marie. You're not able to Marie. You're not able to talk over me because of the way the radio works, so people can't hear you when you are when you're responding to the first half of what I say. So that's just how this works. Okay. So if we're going to have a conversation, we're going to try to get some level of understanding. You have to let me finish a sentence. Is that is that fair? I'm listening, Okay, So there it isn't. So. I was trying to be clearing myself. But like I said, you'd be dedicated to misunderstanding my statement altogether. I know that's I know you you think that sounds very clever, But I'm trying to actually understand what you mean. See again, you can't. You just can't, Marie. You can't help yourself. You do not want to listen. You do not want to listen to anything that I am saying. You want to take whatever the first word that triggers you, and you want to respond in this emotional way. I said, I didn't call you a racist. I said, what you said, sounds kind of Racisty, that's what I said, because I say that that's the. Term that I use. Please explain to me how I did. I already did. You are ascribing. You are ascribing to an entire group of people certain characteristics based only on their race. No. Yes, that's what you sound like you're doing. I am white. I'm a white parent. That's fine. I don't care. It doesn't matter to me what race. You are misunderstanding me? What so you keep saying this term as if it's as if it's dispositive. It's a real here that white people have that there will no longer be a majority in the in in America. And that's the reason why statements like that Smithsonian statement was made. That's not why to exalt people. What do you. Do, Marie? What do you think the word exalt means? Yeah? What does that mean? No? You used it. You keep using it, and I'm not sure And I'm trying to Marie, Marie, Marie you use the Marie you use. I'm the most uneducated, Marie. You use the word exalt. I don't know how you are meaning that, So I don't want to be dedicated to misunderstanding you so you should tell me what you mean when you use that word. I don't, Yeah, what does it mean to make. White people seem or or or to to I'm trying to think of the better words. And you don't. You don't. You don't feel that exalt is sufficient. No, it's not a I don't know if it is. I'm asking you what what it means to you, because the way you're using it is. Not clear to me, like they're superior. Okay, So so you think the Smithsonian. Okay, so you think that the. Smiths that's where you that's where your disconnect comes from, because you feel that I'm saying otherwise, I'm saying that we're all human beings. Yeah, I've said the same thing. Uh, Marie. So you're when you say that the Smithsonian is attempting to exalt white people through this statement that so you're saying then that this Smithsonian is trying. To let me, let me tell you something about me. I'm not not even done with the sentence. Almost made people today. I almost made it through a sentence. And what I'm saying is that white annihilation is a very very real thing. That white people are of. Genetic annihilation is a very real thing that some white people are in fear of, and sometimes that is the motivation behind these hate groups, these these statements that that your president says, it's because it's a fear and and and and the average human being on the planet just wants to live. And you blew up a big statement by misunderstanding. Is that it are you done because I didn't want to start talking and the get interrupted. Almost made it agreed. This is not the standards and you was offended by that? Only really that's the truth. Okay, So Marie, I don't get offended. Okay, nothing you have said offends me. I'm you shouldn't be. I wasn't. So that Okay, we agree. I wasn't offended. You say I shouldn't be. I wasn't because all I was doing was reading what you had typed into your phone, which was not clear and sounded kind of racisty And when you continued now to call in and talk about this stuff. See you again, you just you will not allow see you will not allow a fully formed discussion to occur. You just don't want to hear it. You are you are very ignorant, Marie. You are ignorant of how to engage. No, No, we're done. See we're done. I let you talk, I let you have Gosh, almost ten minutes here, ten minutes you kept saying the same thing over and over and over again. You have the misunderstanding, and you are ignorant of how to engage in a conversation. That's what you're ignorant of. You're also ignorant of the fact that white people are not murdering black people in the streets. In fact, if you pull the crime data, and that's just the data. First off, white people murder white people, Black people murder black people, and Hispanic people murder Hispanic people. That's the vast majority of It's all intra racial, right, because that's who people tend to know mostly is people. Of their own race. They are their own family members and stuff, and that's usually where a lot of this stuff occurs. But when you go into the interracial categories. I hate to break the news to you on this, but you are mistaken. It is actually black people killing white people at a higher rate. Sorry, that's the data. I'm sure TikTok told you differently, but that's the. Data, all right. I think she's been to the Smithsonian all right. For over a year now, you've heard me talking about create a video. I was trying to understand what it was she was trying to convey. I think she was more intent on proving that I'm ignorant, and I don't think that worked out very well for her. For those asking, I do not know where the patience I have comes from, I don't. Tim Oteo wants to know when Marie says some white people, who are these some? Why is some being given such importance so as to create these spurious arguments. Well, you can't create a spurious argument if you don't engage in spuriousness, Timteo, come on now, Like obviously she did correct herself because she at times was saying white people, white people, white people, and then she started saying some. She started not so she did correct herself on that, and so I let her slide on that. But yeah, I don't know, like the word some is doing a lot of lifting in that sense, Paul says, Marie, thank you so much for calling into the show and making no sense, sincerely a fellow listener. I mean, I don't know. I'm sure she's a perfectly lovely person, Johnny, I don't. I cannot imagine being married to her. No, Chuck wants to know if I have a shut up button. I do not. I can hang up on people, but do do. Yeah, David, Well yeah, but again, like she said, and she said in one of these texts that she's half white, half black, whatever. That is irrelevant to me. I don't care. Right when you call into the show, I do not care your race. Okay, you are going to make an argument. We are going to have a discussion that is going to be fact base. It is going to stand or fall on its own merits. I know, according to the Smithsonian and critical race theory, that's whiteness. But your argument needs to stand on its own logically based on data. Right, you can use Obviously people's race can factor into a certain reaction or you know, a frame of some kind of course. But being of a race doesn't absolve you of a terrible argument. Okay, it's not an excuse. You can't say I'm white so my argument makes sense. Like, No, it doesn't work that way. I have a one white parent. That doesn't make your argument better. I don't care. Your race is irrelevant to the dumassary that you're spouting, right, Okay. In a text from Susie, you know this is the real outrage here, Okay, is that I had to read through one hundred and sixty pages of this Smithsonian report and I've only gotten to the bottom of page one so far. Okay, think about all the time I wasted reading this report. I'm not even gonna be able to cover it. Oh, I'm gonna cover it all. I'm gonna like I have show prep that I've already bumped for this hour. Don't think I won't bump it for the next I will totally gonna do it, Susie says Caler. Marie does not understand what the study is saying. I was trying to explain it to her, like she's she's got it, she's got it twisted. She heard me reading from the Smithsonian report and took something away from it. But it actually makes a great deal of sense. In speaking with her, her texts now make a lot more sense. I mean, not what they actually say. They're still like kind of jumbled all over the place, but like she hears the first four or five words and then immediately dare I say it, pounces. She seizes upon. The first four or five six words, so she never hears the rest of the sentence. And I suspect that might be why she was misinterpreting what the Smithsonian thing was like, what this was saying, and why it prompted the probe by the Domestic Policy Council. Right, because at the core of all of this trash is this is critical race theory. And this was at its apex in the you know, in the public mind about six years ago. And that's when I did all the deep dives into it, explored you know, the foundation of it. Who you know, where did it come from? We traced it back through Antonio Graham, she right, the critical theories, the critical studies, Right. We went through all of that, and it's just it's just collectivism. It's just Marxism being smuggled in using different language. That's it. But what we're seeing now with the rise of this third world ism, right, same thing Marxism, just through a different lens oppress or oppressed, right, same thing with the Smithsonian presentation. So all right, back to Susie's text, because I think Susie is correct here. So Marie does not understand what the study is saying. The study is showing a racial bias by those who say that hard work, achievement, family values, that these are quote white values, when in fact they are American and Western moral values. Susie is correct, right, That's what I was pushing back on when I was reading through this stuff, and I was mocking the Smithsonian for saying these things right, because these things are not solely reserved for white people. That's insane. But that's where we were with five six years ago, when the Smithsonian felt an emboldened or pressured to publish this sort of clap trap. Susie goes on to say, saying that they are only for white people is inherently racist. If black people are incapable of hard work, achievement in holding together a traditional family. Right, that's racist, right exactly. That's what we've been pushing back against, Like this is this is not solely the reserve of white people. That's stupid. There isn't anything that's like, oh, you're white, therefore you believe in a nuclear family. Yeah, so has every human civilization for thousands of years. Right, it's been the building block of all societies. It's not whiteness, it's insane. That is far from the truth. In a horrifying and debilit debilitating way to view and label an entire race, right, it demoralizes non whites, and right it says, oh, if you believe these things nuclear family, rational thought or yes, as somebody asked, yes, politeness is one of the things in here. Also being on time, the King's English rules, Yeah, they decision making, aggressiveness and extroversion. Wait, that's that's whiteness. Wait being an extrovert is whiteness really? Really? Hm? Win at all costs, be number one, protect property. That's that's a right. So yeah, if you don't want to be robbed, then that means you're a white supremacist. I guess right. Being on time punctuality like the these this is whiteness culture, this is these, this is it's absurd, It's absolutely absurd. This graphic that they published and promoted their toolkit is absolutely absurd. Okay, that's the point, and that's what the Smithsonian is getting dragged over. From the report. I haven't even given you the examples yet of the exhibits that they've been displaying, but now I mean, going through their toolkit graphic here you, I'm sure can guess some of their exhibits were promoting. Right. At the heart of our concern is a simple question, what should a National Museum of American History do. Our conviction is that such a museum should tell the American story clearly and fairly. It should explain the rise of the original Thirteen colonies, the struggle for independence, the principles of the Declaration of Independence in the US Constitution, and the role these documents have played in securing Americans' most basic freedoms. It should document and share the achievements and fail of the nation and the extraordinary men and women of every color and creed who shaped its course. It should tell the truth, including of the nation's mistakes and injustices. But it should do so within a coherent account of a people striving often imperfectly, but more often nobly, to live up to our founding principles of liberty and equality under a republican form of government. It should especially teach the history of an American nation that is worthy of our affection and worth passing along to future generations. So that's the mission statement from the Domestic Policy Council. That's what they are arguing needs to be the focus of the museum. But the museum has a different mission, at least over the last seven years. From the text line, Candy Crusher says, I I agree with everything you're saying about the ridiculous infographic, but you and the audience, I hope, do realize that this thing came out like six years ago during the Biden administration and the peak of woke insanity. Yes, that's why I said that. I believe I've said that repeatedly. The infographic that I've been talking about came from the Smithsonian, but it's part of their toolkit. The hook now is that the what's it called, the Domestic Policy Council has done a report on the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum. Of American history. They put out their report the other day, and what they have found is that all of this same sort of woke, critical race theory crap has infected every aspect of the museum and their exhibits. They talk about problematizing. They say that the museum profession has to figure out how we're going to problematize the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Right. That is not a neutral view of America or of their job in conveying the heritage and history of America right to citizens and foreigners who visit. That is taking a position that's saying we have to try to convey a certain idea to everybody that walks in the doors here. You know, these are American citizens, these are foreign visitors. They're coming in to learn about American history, and we have to problematize American history. In other words, we have to create problems. That's what they're saying. And so that's what this report is focused on, and yesterday there was a Congressional hearing about it. Based off of the findings in this report. The museum confronts the visitors with materials intended to undermine faith in American institutions and the long standing shared ideals of the American people. As this report shows, the Museum purposely presents America as a problematic country, irredeemably conceived. Think about that, irredeemably conceived. There is no path to grace, There is no path for forgiveness, no path to redemption. You can't ever fix it. It is irredeemably conceived, founded by deeply flawed men, and still operating today as an instrument of systemic racism and oppression. In the Museum's current telling, the country is above all defined by white supremacy, slavery, conquest. By the way, how many countries did we conquer in World War II? We took over? Because if I remember correctly from the history book, looks like we won that war. So like. We should have way more states if we were actually conquering, Right, shouldn't we have a lot more states at this point? Oh? We just do it by different means, I know, I know, defined by exclusion, hierarchy, racism, xenophobia, misogyny, and systemic injustice. Right, that's what the museum, the National Museum for American History, that's what they're teaching people students that go on field trips, that's what they're teaching. The report identifies a broad pattern. The founders are minimized, if not entirely excluded, Traditional patriotic narratives are treated with suspicion, if not outright contempt, and the basic symbols and stories that once helped unify Americans are presented not as reasons for gratitude and inspiration, but as objects to be inherently questioned, dismantled, and problematized and reinterpreted to achieve ideological ends. To the extent that there is a story told that the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History, it is not one of the victory of freedom and the genius of our country. It is instead one of regret, tragedy, and shame. That's the theme. That's what they're teaching people. That is demoralization. That is Marxist. This is what has become of this institution. Unguarded stores of value are set upon by parasites. And that is what Marxism is. It is parasitic. It does not create anything on its own except misery and destruction, poverty and death. That's all it does. But that's what parasites do. They feast off the host until the host is dead. That's what this underlying ideology is all about. Always has been. All right. That'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening.
