[00:00:29] So did you hear about Letitia James? I was going to mispronounce her name in a comical way, but I don't want to run afoul of any FCC rules. So I'm just going to call her Letitia James, New York's Attorney General.
[00:00:48] The woman who ran a campaign on getting Trump, got elected on it in New York City, and then proceeded to go after Trump and get him and get a whole massive settlement against him or verdict, if you will, against him. Like half a billion dollars on his 34 indictments and 34 convictions that everybody on the left is always, you know, parody.
[00:01:19] So, yeah, she's got a bit of a problem now, apparently. It has to do with submitting false paperwork. Ironically, the very thing that she accused Trump of. Maybe like maybe that's how she know, like where to look for for the violations of law. So the FHFA, which is the Federal Housing Finance Agency.
[00:01:46] OK, the FHFA or as I call it, the FFA. The director of the FFA is William Pulte. And if that name sounds familiar, it's because. He built a lot of homes, Pulte homes. That's this guy. And so he sent a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi that Letitia James appears to have falsified records to meet certain lending requirements,
[00:02:15] which got her favorable loan terms. On a house, I think. It's a property in Virginia. Which is not contrary to popular belief. That is not part of New York. OK, she she has a home in Virginia that apparently. She was claiming as her principal residence. But it's a four unit structure.
[00:02:45] But it's that's what she said it was. But it's it's actually a five unit structure. So you got five units. She's claiming there are four and one of them she resides in. In Virginia as the elected attorney general of New York. Which. Funny enough, you're supposed to be a resident of New York to serve. As the attorney general of New York.
[00:03:14] Little known fact. You actually have to live in the place that you run for the office. What do you think this is? The Senate? The Senate? I mean, come on. All right. New York Attorney General Letitia James, who infamously declared that no one is above the law. Oh, yeah. They they got a lot of mileage out of that one. They're still using it on the left.
[00:03:37] New York Post reports that she was hit with a federal criminal referral for instances of alleged mortgage fraud. The FFA director, William Pulte, sent the letter to Pam Bondi and her deputy attorney general, Todd Blanche, alleging that Letitia James had falsified records to get home loans for a property in Virginia that she claimed was her principal residence.
[00:04:07] In 2023. So this isn't this isn't from a long, long, long, long, long time ago. So who cares? Oh, you youthful indiscretion or something. No, she's still serving as New York state prosecutor when she did this.
[00:04:20] That occurred in late August 2023, weeks before she began her civil fraud trial against the Trump organization for overinflating the values of many of its properties, which ended in a four hundred fifty four million dollar judgment, despite the fact that there was no victim. No victim in any of that. Right. We went over the details on that case.
[00:04:45] This is why, like, when people say, oh, convicted, 34 felons, like, yeah, it was ridiculous. There was no victim in that case. The the appraisals of property. To get loans and stuff in the bank, that's on them to do their due diligence and determine whether or not the property is correctly valued. They determined it was. They said it was. They were happy with the terms of the deal.
[00:05:13] They wanted more deals with Trump. They wanted to give him more loans. Ms. James was the sitting attorney general of New York and is required by law to have her primary residence in the state of New York, even though her mortgage applications list her intent to have the Norfolk, Virginia property as her primary home.
[00:05:37] Quote, it appears Miss James's property and mortgage related misrepresentations may have continued to her recent 2023 Norfolk, Virginia property purchase in order to secure a lower interest rate and more favorable loan terms. Now, that's from 23. Way back in February of 2001. So this is pre 9-11. In 2001.
[00:06:07] She also purchased a five family dwelling in Brooklyn. But has, quote, consistently misrepresented the same property as only having four units in both building permit applications as well as numerous mortgage documents and applications. Okay, so the four or five units is a different property.
[00:06:31] She's been doing that for 25 years, apparently, claiming it's four units when in fact it's five, which I suspect might have something to do with a lower tax rate or something. I don't know. Pulte attached several documents also showing Letitia James purchased another property. So I guess this is a third property with her father as a co-signer. Okay, so she bought something with her dad.
[00:06:59] Although she listed him as her husband. What is it with these Democrat women marrying their relatives? Ilhan Omar marries her brother. Letitia James married her dad. No, I don't know if this was just a simple mistake. Like, we have to keep this in mind. It's possible.
[00:07:21] She's just really bad at figuring out how to fill out the paperwork, which is why she was uniquely qualified to lead the prosecution against Donald Trump's paperwork case. Right? But she falsely listed the pair as husband and wife in 1983 and in 2000. So she's been doing it for a while. I don't know if her other, is she married now? I don't even know if she's married. Here's the response from a spokesman for her office.
[00:07:50] Quote, Attorney General James is focused every single day. You know you're about to hear some crap when they start with that line, right? They're focused every single day on... No, you're not. The fact that this has come out means that you are now having to focus on this. And you're telling me that you're focusing on the needs of others. And that this somehow gives you, like, some moral shield or something against the allegations of wrongdoing.
[00:08:19] Yeah, I don't... Anytime anybody starts off a statement like that, I know I'm going to get fed some garbage. So, James is focused every single day on protecting New Yorkers, especially as this administration weaponizes the federal government against the rule of law and the Constitution. She will not be intimidated by bullies, no matter who they are. Doesn't actually deny any of the allegations there. Have you noticed that? Right.
[00:08:47] And it's a little bit rich when the person who ran for office saying that she was going to target her political enemy and then wins and then does it is complaining now about the weaponization of government. I keep saying it. Recognize where we are.
[00:09:08] You guys on the left, you have engaged in behaviors that have set different standards by which everybody is now playing. I don't like it. I urged you against it. You didn't care. You thought this juice was worth the squeeze. Drink up. Because now you're getting it too. Here's a great idea.

It, yeah, really. It just, it couldn't happen to a nicer person.
[00:10:50] Now, the letter that was sent by Pulte to Pam Bondi, Pulte to Bondi about James, it could amount to criminal charges including wire fraud, mail fraud, bank fraud, and false statements to a financial institution. Criminal charges here. So this isn't like what Trump got in trouble with the civil side of stuff, right? Like that's, these are, these are criminal charges.
[00:11:17] Like, she could do time for this. If she did it, if it's only alleged. The documents included in the referral, according to George Washington University law professor, Jonathan Turley, he called it quite damning. He said these are misleading statements. Either it's your principal residence or it's not. Either you're married to your father or he's your father. Whoa, whoa, whoa. It can be both there, Turley.
[00:11:47] I mean, not legally. But, um, the criminal referral for James dropped the same day that her office confirmed it is preliminary scrutinizing whether insider trading was in play regarding the 90-day pause President Trump put on the reciprocal tariffs last week. Have you heard this, this nuttery? It's not insider trading lady. He posted it on Twitter.
[00:12:17] He said, good, good time to buy. Right? A great time to buy. He posted it on Truth Social. Sorry, he doesn't post on Twitter anymore. He's, yeah. It's not a full-fledged probe yet, but they're taking a look. It's a preliminary scrutinization, I think, under the law is what it's called. It's not clear if there are any specific people or companies that are being reviewed.
[00:12:43] Trump declared, this is, you know what, she takes every conspiracy theory that, you know, bubbles up out of the left-wing fever swamps. She turns it into a case, right? She hears this stuff from her. This is why I always say, right, unchallenged ideas are easy to hold. You got to have people in your life that disagree with you on some stuff.
[00:13:10] And if you are completely surrounded by just various degrees of left-wing moon bats, then this is all you're hearing. And they're like, oh, I'm going to go look at that. This is really, and maybe it's just a fundraiser play. You know, maybe it's just I'm going to keep the base angry and motivated so they keep, you know, sending money to act blue so we can keep that money laundering operation going. But I don't know.
[00:13:35] Maybe it's that she really thinks that she can nail Trump because he posted on Truth Social that it's a great time to buy just before the U.S. markets opened on April 9th. Because the indexes were in freefall, right? Because he had announced the tariffs. The markets start crashing over the course of like two days. And then he posts out great time to buy.
[00:13:58] And then later that day, he announces that he is postponing all of the customized tariff rates and doing the 10% baseline duty. And then the market goes back up. So that's insider trading? Maybe. Go take a look, Letitia. Go take a look. No one is above the law, including you, right?
[00:14:26] Now, there is one element of this story that I think she's going to rely on. Letitia James granted power of attorney to a person by the name of Shamice. Shamice? Shamice? Shamice? S-H-A-M-I-C-E.
[00:14:54] Shamice is this person's name? Again with the Dickensian names. Shamice. She's telling us right there. Anyway, power of attorney was granted to Shamice Thompson-Hairston. Okay. A relative of hers.
[00:15:12] And this person signed a document authorizing the purchase of the first property according to legal filings reported by white-collar fraud is the outlet, news outlet. So I think she's going to say that all of this is just a misunderstanding, just a mistake.
[00:15:33] And it was this person, Shamice Thompson-Hairston, who just made a mistake on filing some paperwork. I bet that's where this goes. Somebody's got to go under that bus. All right. If you're listening to this show, you know I try to keep up with all sorts of current events. And I know you do too. And you've probably heard me say, get your news from multiple sources. Why? Well, because it's how you detect media bias, which is why I've been so impressed with Ground News.

Hello, Jonathan. Welcome to the show. Hey, thanks for having me on. Yes, sir. What's up?
[00:17:01] Hey, I wanted to comment upon the thing you were saying about how it can't be insider trading. I didn't say it can't. I didn't say it couldn't be. No, I didn't say it couldn't be. Oh, well, maybe you implied. No, I was saying that he posted it on social media. Yes, and therefore, how could it be insider trading because everybody knew about it? That's what he posted out to everybody.
[00:17:31] And then what did I say after that, Jonathan? Or were you too busy dialing to get on the show after I said that? Because what I said right after that was, I don't know, maybe there was stuff going on behind the scenes. I don't know that. That's fine. Let's move on to my point. Yes, let's.
[00:17:49] By point being that I've seen a chart that shows buying and selling on the stock market immediately before and immediately after his announcement of the 90-day moratorium on the tariffs. And you can see right when he announced it, a whole bunch of purchasing went on, which is all well and good.
[00:18:12] But immediately preceding that, before the announcement, there was a smaller blip that was anomalous because it wasn't anywhere near the volume just before that other blip, where it shows that somebody, for some reason, was all of a sudden buying a bunch of stocks before the announcement. And that would be insider trading if that's what occurred. If that's what it was. Unless it was Congress. Unless it was what? Congress.
[00:18:43] Oh, well. Who knows? It could have been anybody. It could have been members of Congress. Because they don't, they're allowed to inside trade. Well, obviously somebody who knew that the tariff moratorium was coming on took advantage of it. You don't know that. I don't know who that was. No, you don't know that. People did it. You don't know that, though. But. You're speculating about that. But the person who's responsible for that information. Jonathan. Jonathan. Jonathan. You don't know, you don't know what that blip was.
[00:19:13] You don't know that that's what occurred. Well, we could all be ostriches and put our heads in the sand. No, what you're doing, Jonathan, what you're doing is motivated reasoning. That's what you're engaged in right now. You have a belief that this thing occurred, and you may even have a reason. So I'm also presenting a scenario that is no farther out of line from a conspiracy theory that we hear every day on this radio station. What conspiracy theory is that?
[00:19:43] Which conspiracy theories have you heard me promote? Well, you know what? I said the radio station. I didn't say you. Maybe you're a perfectly fine, upstanding host, but there are others. So name a theory that's been promulgated on WBT that you object to. All the stuff about masks. All the stuff about masks. What about masks? Well, let's start with masks. What about masks? All the stuff about Trump's getting shot.
[00:20:13] Wait, what? Did you just say not getting shot or getting shot? No, I'm getting shot. I believe it was shot. But there's lots of conspiracy theories about how he staged it, which I don't believe. Nobody has promulgated that on WBT? No, no, they're not. I'm just talking about in general. I'm asking you for the conspiracy theories that have been promoted or promulgated, espoused, whatever, by the hosts here at WBT.
[00:20:41] I'm genuinely curious to know what those might be. Well, I would be curious to document it, but I haven't done so. No, just one that you remember. All I can tell you is that I listen to the show fairly frequently, and I've heard stuff that was truly outrageous. I cannot cite two exact examples because I didn't write them down. You don't have to write them down. That's the thing. Something is so outrageous. Like, you would remember it because that's what outrageous means.
[00:21:10] Like, it would be very memorable. You said masks. Well, you said masks. What was the thing about... We're getting off track. No, I'm impeaching your credibility, Jonathan. I'm explaining. I would do the exact same thing if I were you because you don't want anybody to get on your radio station, and God forbid disagree with you about anything. You've been on the air for four and a half minutes doing exactly that. I'm just engaged. See, this is why I say unchallenged ideas are easy to hold,
[00:21:39] and I think that's what's going on with you here is that you're saying this thing, and I'm pushing back, and I'm testing your argument. I'm finding it to be lacking, and I think you're a bit defensive about that. What's that? Would you like me to send you the chart that I have? I've seen the chart. I don't know, and here's the difference, though, is that I don't know what occurred, and that's all I was saying. I don't know either. Well, see? So, Jonathan, why did you get... So, Jonathan, why did you react the way... Jonathan. All I said was... Oh, my goodness.
[00:22:08] The Trump administration is the only people who knew about the 90-day moratorium, so somehow it leaked out from the administration. Okay. So, that's also not known to you either, because Donald Trump says stuff all the time, day-to-day, hour-to-hour, that his staff and aides and advisors have no freaking idea what he's about to say. He reverses himself all the time. Well, then I think he takes more responsibility for it. No, look. All I'm saying, Jonathan, is that you don't know, and you just admitted that that's true.
[00:22:38] You don't know. So, that's why I said you're engaged... Right. And that's why I said you're engaged in motivated reasoning. You are ascribing the reason for this based on your prior beliefs, based on your opinions. That's all I was saying, and you got very upset that I pointed this out, but it's... I'm not very upset. I'm just happy that you found a way to cloud the issue. I'm not clouding the issue, Jonathan.
[00:23:04] It's unacceptable for people to listen to, because it's contrary to what you want the world to believe. What do I want the world to believe? The Donald Trump's agenda, everything related to it. That's me. You totally nailed me. I can tell you listen to my show all the time, because I have been banging the drum for Donald Trump since he came down the golden escalator. I can't vote for the guy enough times. Totally nailed me. Thank you for the call, Jonathan. I appreciate that. Spoiler alert.
[00:23:33] I actually did not support Donald Trump. Jonathan knows that, I guess, because he listens to the station all the time, and so... But he doesn't document all the most outrageous things or something. Yeah. So, look, Letitia James wants to pursue Donald Trump for insider training. Go ahead and do it. Just like Donald Trump's DOJ is now pursuing her. Right? Go ahead and do it. Single set of standards here.
[00:24:02] Right? No one is above the law. One rule for everybody to play by. All right. So, spring is here. A time of renewal and celebrations. All right, so two committees in North Carolina, the General Assembly, voted last week to approve legislation that would ban certain foreign entities.
[00:25:30] China. China. China. From acquiring farmland in the state. Okay, so there's a House bill and there's a Senate bill. House bill 133, Senate bill 394.
[00:25:46] 133, House bill 133, would prohibit quote-unquote adversarial foreign governments from purchasing, acquiring, or leasing agricultural land in North Carolina, according to the bill text. The restrictions would also apply to land situated within a 75-mile radius of a military installation. So that's basically the whole state. No, I'm kidding. Well, a good part of it, though.
[00:26:18] A number influenced by national defense recommendations, according to the bill's sponsor. That's where they got the 75-mile radius. Fort Bragg is near Fayetteville. A complete list of the applicable installations is outlined in the bill text, but the bill's sponsor, Jennifer Balcombe from Henderson County, says, if it was up to me, I would do the entire state. It would ban it throughout the entire state. But this doesn't infringe on private property rights.
[00:26:46] You can sell it to anybody except a foreign national that's an adversary against the United States. Which, duh, right? We would not allow the Soviet Union to be buying up our farmland and the property all around our military installations. Like, if... Wait, is this a conspiracy theory I'm promulgating here? I just, I want to... I've got to be careful. No.
[00:27:13] Like, we need to be looking at China as we looked at the Soviet Union. And I know boomers remember that. Well, maybe not. It was the 60s. I don't think the boomers really remember a whole lot from that time period. But some boomers do, right? They weren't all at Woodstock, despite what all of them claim. But Gen X, we remember this. We're the last generation to remember the Soviet Union.
[00:27:39] The kids that were younger than us, they have no memory of the wall coming down, right? They have no memory of, you know, why us beating the USSR in hockey was such a big deal. Why Rocky Balboa went to the Soviet Union to whip up on that tall white dude. Like, we remember, though. Gen X remembers. The Soviets were commies, man. And commies, they are bad. That's really all you should take away from this.
[00:28:09] That's not a conspiracy theory. That is historical record. Okay? Communism is bad. Okay? And the Tricoms are commies. They lie. They lie about everything. They're not just buying that farmland because they want some farmland. They're buying that farmland so they can shut them down if they need to. That's why they want all of the stuff made in China. Did you hear this? What was the story about the drones? Hang on a second here. I've got it.
[00:28:38] I've got it someplace in my list. It's about drone production. Yeah. Pentagon leaders are calling for thousands of drones to face China. This is one of the things that the war between Russia and Ukraine has really highlighted is that you listen to, like, the experts talk about the war fighting operations, like how this stuff is actually occurring. And what's his name?
[00:29:04] The guy, Prince, Blackwater CEO guy. He was on a podcast I was watching. He talked about this. He's like, the stuff that was working at the beginning, like Trump always talks about, I sent them javelins. Obama sent them, you know, bed linens, whatever. But the Russians have now adapted. They've both adapted. So now, like, this is a different kind of warfare that they're engaging in. It's drones. They're using drones for all sorts of stuff.
[00:29:31] And so the Pentagon is like, hey, we need a ton of drones. We need thousands and thousands of drones. And so, hey, let's put in some orders for all of the drones. Slight problem. You can't make all the drones for the American military by these American manufacturers because all the components are in China. Slight problem. Yeah.
[00:30:03] It does raise the question of, you know, why do we even have a military industrial complex if we have to rely on our enemy to give us the critical components of these war systems? So that's a problem. But that's the same reason why China wants all of the manufacturing, why they want all the military, you know, production ingredients. They want the land and they want it around the military installations. Not for good purposes. Not for us.
[00:30:32] They're not doing it to help us. So that's the House bill. There is a... Sorry. Also, the bill does not list specific countries. It refers to governments subject to the international traffic in arms regulations. That's the Senate bill. Or sorry, the House bill. Now, the Senate bill explicitly refers to China, Iran, North Korea, and Russia.
[00:30:59] I personally would like to see Canada thrown in there just, you know, for... Just for good measure. Like, can't be too careful. Um, the legislation is described as a state effort to protect national security because food security is national security. Senate bill 394 is more restrictive than its House counterpart. The proposal bars the prohibited foreign parties from making claims to land situated within a 25-mile radius of a military installation. So that's smaller.
[00:31:28] It's closer to the military bases. Or if they are underneath special use airspace, airspace as designated by the FAA. Um, of course, Lisa Grafstein, Democrat from Wake County, pointed out, there's a growing population of Chinese immigrants and Chinese Americans in the state. And, you know, I'm just worried this bill would ban some of them from purchasing land if they are a legal resident. Like, well, the answer is if they're a resident alien,
[00:31:56] they have the same right to acquire or hold land as a citizen as long as they're a resident in the state. But, um, if you work for the Chai Combs, then no. Seems pretty clear. All right, that'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening. I could not do the show without your support and the support of the businesses that advertise on the podcast.
