I kind of think that Israel is just looking for a loaner, like a loaner B two bomber and maybe a bunker buster bomb, one of the big boys, one of the massive bombs. They're just gonna need to borrow it for like a day or two max, and they'll return it, no scratches, no dents, no nothing. We can have them sign something. I think I feel like that's where we are at all, right, So let's talk a little bit about the the Iran situation. I have said ever since October seventh, twenty twenty three, Israel is going to do what it's going to do, and this is their war. They're prosecuting it. As they are prosecuting it. War is hell it is a complete breakdown of law, right and society. It's awful. People die. Innocent people die, children die, women die, soldiers die. It is to be avoided. That's why you try to avoid war. However, sometimes there are some people that are hell bent on warring. They really really want war. They want to exterminate you. And when presented with that option, it's either kill or be killed. Israel has decided we will do the killing. We will not be killed. That's why they set up the entire state of Israel in the first place. They could not count on other countries to protect them when they are minority populations in every country. So the latest now, after the first wave of attacks that Israel launched into Iran. By the way, I've heard that people are like that Israel is the aggressor, They're the ones that invaded Iraq or Iran, They're the ones that are doing this preemptive strike. It's not actually a preemptive strike. It is a retaliatory strike because remember, not even a year ago, Israel or Iran rather launched hundreds of missiles into Israel. I feel like that's a declaration of war. What do you think if Canada or actually more believably, the cartels in Mexico started launching a bunch of bombs into Texas. What do you think our response would Do you think that we would not bomb them back? Do you think we would not try to find out who did it, who killed our people? I think we would. I think any nation state would. Right. This is you know, the current state of geopolitics where you have nation states. We have them, and they are designed for the you know, protection of the people. That's the first order responsibility of the government. Any government is to provide an umbrella of security for the residents in that nation. Well, the good countries, I mean yes, you can have like dictatorships and such that they get set up to enrich the leadership, like Iran for example. So you had the decapitation strikes that occurred. First they took out all of the nuclear scientists, they took out all of the almost all of the leadership in the military, the Revolutionary Guard Corps. Today, the IDF announced that it had killed Ali Shadmani. This guy had replaced Major General Golam Ali Rashid, who was killed on Friday. So this guy got the appointment to be the Iranian Chief of staff and top military commander, the closest one to the Ayatola Komani, and they just took him out today. I also saw Donald Trump posted up onto social media two things. One he said unconditional surrender all caps. That was it. And he also put out a post that says, we know exactly where the so called Supreme Leader is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there. We are not going to take him out parentheses, kill, exclamation point, going to take him out kill at least not for now. But we don't want missiles shot at civilians or American soldiers. Our patients is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I don't know. Yeah, anyway, Will Chamberlain not the basketball player. This is will William Chamberlain. We've interviewed him on the program here before. He's an Article three project General counsel guy. He says, I feel like there are a lot of people who are ego invested in the general restraint theory with regards to Iran, that Iran is a formidable military power, that military intervention could never work against it, and that they are struggling to deal with the new facts on the ground because those facts make their prior predictions and analysis look foolish. This is an interesting point. Ego invested people who have been saying, we can't touch iron, we can't do anything with iron. We have to negotiate with them on their quest for a nuclear bomb. And look, Iran wants nuclear weapons. There is no reason for them to have enriched uranium to the levels they did. There is no reason that they built all of those facilities so deep under ground that now Israel is, you know, needing a bunker busting bomb and some B two bombers to drop them. Right, There isn't any reason that you build those facilities except to build a bomb. They already got to the three percent level for your Richmond enrichment of uranium. That would be for civilian purposes, and that was their cover story. But nobody believes their cover story. Now, if you want Iran to have a nuke, you want to let them pursue that because you think that's the only way they can stop from being invaded by US or Israel or some other country. Fine, but you cannot. You cannot be blind to the fact that they are pursuing a nuclear weapon. They have built up their stock piles of ballistic missiles, and in the supreme leader in this structure and the particular branch of Islam that they follow in Iran, that the iotola and the leadership follow. They believe that the second Coming or the you know, the ushering in of the of the utopian nirvana, it only comes when every Jew is removed from Israel. That's why they want the nuke. They say this, this is not new, They've been saying it for fifty years. They want to exterminate all of the Jews. The problem that they had was that they're about twenty five hundred kilometers away. They're pretty far. They've got to go over a couple of countries who, by the way, Israel is flying over So all of these countries that supposedly were, you know, working with Iran, like Syria, for example, now that Bashar Assada is gone, hold up somewhere in Moscow. Siria's letting Israel fly overhead. They're not doing anything. Russia. Bloomberg just reported today that Russia's like, yeah, you're on your own Iran, which really stinks because like Iran had just signed some deal with Russia like a mutual aid thing, and Russia tried to put in a good word with Donald Trump, and Trump was like, yeah, no, Iran cannot have nukes. I have been critical of Donald Trump for his flip flopping on various issues and things over the years. This that's like tariffs. You could disagree with his position on it, but just like the tariff issue, Trump has actually been remarkably consistent on this one issue. Iran does not get nuclear weapons. That's it. You do not get them. And Israel is now taking out their facilities. Why because they deemed Iran to be an imminent threat now and they took out all of their proxies, right, They took out Hezbollah leadership, they knocked out Hamas's command structure, right, they got them buried in tunnels. And this was what the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, the Solomani, this was his plan. Trump took out Solomoni and everybody in the what's called the woke right now. I guess they were all like, oh, this is going to cause World War three and it didn't. Solomoni was the one who said, hey, we're going to have a ring of fire around Israel because they're twenty five hundred kilometers away. So they had to set up proxies, and they immediately began doing this after the revolution in seventy nine. They blew up the barracks of our US marines in Beirut in nineteen eighty three, murdering two hundred and forty one marines. That was Hezbollah, that was a proxy for Iran. This has been their goal from day one. You don't have to agree that we should be involved or do anything like that, but you cannot disagree that Iran wants nuclear weapons. They do. That's what they've been doing. Oh but what about Tulci Gabbard, She came out with that presentation the other day. Yeah, it's an interesting thing about that clip too. I've got the audio here. There's one clip of about eighteen seconds that it's been shared with Tulsi Gabbard, But then the next eighteen seconds gets cut out. Wait till you hear the second part of the clip. All right, So spring is here a time of renewal and celebrations. You got graduations, weddings, anniversaries and the special days for mom and dad. Creative Video Preserving Family Memories since nineteen ninety seven, located in mint Hill, just off four eighty five. Mail orders are accepted to get all the details that createavideo dot Com. I mentioned Will Chamberlain's from the article three project. He says he feels like a lot of people are ego invested in their restraint approach against Deran because they're struggling to deal with new facts on the ground, because those facts on the ground make their prior predictions and analysis look foolish. It's the mirror image of the neo cons who were ego invested in the success of Araq. The restrainers are less destructive, to be fair, but it's the same dynamic at play. He says, Guys, it's okay to be wrong about foreign policy. It happens to the best of us. But when the facts change, you need to have the ability to change your mind. So here's Telsey Gabbert, Director of National Intelligence, and the first eighteen seconds. I'm going to pause it after this eight first eighteen seconds because this is the clip that is being shared about Iran's nuclear capabilities. The IC continues to assess that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and Supreme Leader Kamini has not authorized the nuclear weapons program that he suspended in two thousand and three. The IC continues to monitor closely if Tehran decides to reauthorize its nuclear weapons program. Right, that's the clip that's being shared. See, so the Intelligence Committee says they don't have a bomb. Okay, first off, you only know it after the fact, right, That's the intelligence that you gather would only be would only be available after they have done it, right, unless you're somehow embedded in their nuclear program. In which case, then just take it out. Here's the second part of what she said that doesn't get shared. In the past year, we've seen an erosion of a decade's long taboo in Iran on discussing nuclear weapons in public, likely emboldening nuclear weapons advocates within Iran's decision making apparatus. Uran's enriched uranium stockpile is at its highest levels and is unprecedented for a state without nuclear weapons. It's unprecedented for a state without like why do you have uranium enriched to sixty percent? The next step is ninety and then you got your weapons grade. There's no reason to have it if it's for civilian purposes. And they've made like they've made such progress they were imminently ready to achieve weapons great status. And then they've got all of the ballistic missiles they can strap the payloads to and deliver them as dirty bombs. Right, I don't again, this is everybody has known that Iran wants a nuclear weapon. Let me read this, because there's you know, people are like, oh my gosh, you know, boots on the ground, and oh, we're going to get involved in this war no more forever wars. Trump is selling out America first, and all of this, I don't believe that. I don't believe that to be the case. I could be wrong. I don't believe that to be the case. And this guy sums it up very well. Everything that makes Iran a problem comes from a factory, and those factories can be vaporized from the year. Most US casualties in Iraq were caused by sophisticated off route EFP minds that were mass produced by Iran. The rockets fire at Israel and such massive quantities that it threatened to deplete the Israeli iron dome interceptor stocks and overwhelm their systems, mass produced by Iran. The drones and missiles that the huties used to close the bob El Mandab Strait and thus the Suez Canal, one of the most economically vital sea lines of communication and existence, mass produced by Iran. The srbms being fired at Ukraine by Russia, mass produced and delivered to them by Iran. The massive heavy MRBM Arsenal they've been attempting to mass murder Israeli civilians with, and have used to threaten and coerce everybody else in the region, reaching as far as Southern Europe and Italy mass produced by Iran. None of this happens without Iranian mass weapon production, many millions of dollars in fiscal support, and Iranian military advisors, leadership, and intel support. You don't get the kind of problems in that region from six clowns making homemade grenades out of soda bottles, bathtub explosives and rusty nails. Anti ship ballistic missiles aren't cobbled together by Jihad Kletus in his garage. Blow up the Iranian military industrial complex, take out their nuclear program, and these problems go away forever. And if they try to build them again, you blow them up again. This isn't to hold deep enough for them, or there isn't to hold deep enough for them to climb in. We built a massive thirty thousand pound bunker busting bomb to make doubly sure of that. There is never, at any possible point in time, any reason whatsoever to put a single boot on the ground in Iran. Every single forever war in the Middle East is caused and perpetuated by Iran, and the only consequences for US ending it would be a three percent bump in Lockheed Martin stock, Yeah, David Arsani wrote at The Washington Examiner, Iran is nothing like the war, and people have to understand these are different situations. It's been twenty something years. There is a difference. They are different peoples, they are different societies, these are different operations, and Israel has done most of the hard work already. Do you know who? Reza Pahlavi is? The crown Prince of Iran. He is the eldest son of Mohammed Reza Paalavi, who was the last Shaw of Iran. He is in exile. He's living in exile. He just put out a video to his Iranian countryman and he says the Islamic Republic has come to its end and is collapsing. What has begun is irreversible. The future is bright and together we will turn the page of history. Now is the time to stand up, the time to reclaim Iran. May I be with you soon again. Like I'm not saying we help, I'm not saying we do anything, but that's a good development. It's better than the Mulla's right, I think. Right, Look, I've never known a world without the molocracy, the kleptocracy, that has controlled Iran. The Shaw was overthrown when I was a child, and I never knew it before then. I've never known flights to go between Tehran and Israel. But apparently that was happening before the Shaw fell, before the Islamic Revolution. And I understand the criticisms, the concerns, and the worry, the anxiety about forever wars and another Afghanistan and other Iraq I don't see this as the same at all. I see this as Israel has finally gone after the purveyors of the equipment and the training and the terrorism that they have been subjected to for the last fifty years through the Iranian state. Because again, the Iranian State, the Mullahs that control it, that branch of Shia fundamentalism, believes in the annihilation of Jews in Israel in order to usher in the end of the world. That's when Prophet Muhammad comes back. And that's when you know they live in utopia with all of the virgins or whatever it is that they think. And if you have a neighbor that is saying, we want to murder every single one of the people in your home. Oh and by the way, I'm building a nuclear weapon to do that, Like, I don't see any other option for the Israelis. And as long as they're doing it themselves, they seem quite adept to doing it. So yeah, they control the air space, they have complete air dominance, and Iran is the land of Persia. These are Persians, right, These were you know, civilized, you know, modern people in a modern society prior to nineteen seventy nine when the Shaw fell and then the Mullas take over, and you know, they start imposing Sharia law and they murder and beat up women who don't cover up all head to toe and stuff. It's it's a brutal terrorist regime. I have clarity on that. I thought most people do. In fact, actually most people do. It's like I just saw poll, like eighty four percent of people say yes, stop around from getting nukes. So like this is another like eighty five to fifteen issue. So. I'm with the eighty five on it. David Arsani at The Washington Examiner. He said, less than a week before Israel launched its attack on Iran, Tucker Carlson, or as Donald Trump called him today, Kookie Tucker Carlson and other cheerleaders for the Islamic state warned that the conflict could easily lead to a world war in which Russia and China would come to the aid of the Islamic clerics and thousands of Americans would die for the Jewish state. The war, now five days old, and Deran, with its top military brass joining Cassem Solomani in a fiery afterlife, is already urgently signaling via Arab intermediaries that it wants a ceasefire, which, in the Islamic world, a ceasefire means stop attacking us long enough for US to resupply not one American as paris for Israel. Here. That hasn't stopped isolationists joining progressive Democrats from engaging in scare mongering about an imaginary neo conservative push for a large scale American invasion and occupation of Iran that will put troops in danger. Iran is nothing like Iraq first off, despite popular rhetoric, David Arsani says, we won the Iraq War the quote war. We annihilated the Iraqi army within weeks. The US could atomize Iran as well if it pleases the decade long disaster that costs thousands of lives and trillions of dollars in Iraq was not a war but a misguided and mishandled social engineering project that was meant to install democracy in an Islamic majority state, and no one has proposed anything of the sort in Iran. Notwithstanding the Isola latianist's habit of accusing anybody who believes in wielding American power against our enemies of being a neocon, there is no appetite for nation building within either party, and that's good news. When the news of the Israeli strike first broke, the isolationists began accusing Israeli Prime Manager Benjamin and Yahoo of embarrassing Trump, undercutting peacemaking efforts, and ignoring the president. As it turned out, Trump, after being shown intelligence revealing Iran's nuclear weapons program was perilously close to the point in overturn, Trump not only endorsed the operation, but participated in the misdirection and deception that allowed our ally to catch Tehran by surprise. It should be noted that Israel's Operation Rising Lion, unlike the US's Iraq invasion, wasn't even preemptive. Iran launched the largest ballistic missile attack in history against Israel in October. For decades, it is armed a three front proxy war that costs thousands of Israeli lives. Iran has threatened Israel with nuclear annihilation. It was one Cassas Belly after the next. Cassas Belly is the legitimate cause for war like this is our legitimate justification for attacking you. No responsible nation on Earth would continue to exist under these conditions. Iran, of course, has been an enemy of the US for over four decades as well. They take American hostages. They tried to assassinate our president. Here's a great idea. All right, Walt, Welcome to the program. Hello, Walt, Hey, how you doing. Brett? Hey, it's it's Pete. But that's okay. Brett's on in about ten minutes. That's all right. I just want to make sure you did you dial the right number? Yeah, I think so. There's so many breaths that work here. I guess you guys confused. No, that's fair. That's a very fair point. That is fair. Point in a question your thoughts. I was in the army in nineteen seventy nine and Carter dropped the ball. We were ready to go. He could have took care of this whole mess. We would have never been where we're at right now. And the question is I follow the shaw of Iran's son on X and I asked him the other day, a couple of days ago, would he be willing to step in as interim president for Iran after this whole mess is over. I didn't get an answer. He's probably pretty busy right now. And so my question is it sounds like he said, yes, he just put out that video. Oh he did. Yeah, he just put out a video saying he like that the regime is crumbling, it's a new day, bright future. He's ready to return. Yeah, I saw a news SoundBite, but I didn't. I've been flying today. I just got back from Colorado. Welcome back anyway, Oh, thank you. What I'm concerned about, though, is if he actually is put into power, seeing how he's part of a monarchy. You know, he's the son of a very powerful man, would he be willing to step down after they had elections. What I'm saying, Yeah, that's a fair question. But this is the thing that I think would be a lesson from Iraq and Afghanistan, which is, we're not going to uh impose a form of government on the people of Persia. That's their call, right. If they want to restore a monarchy or they don't want a monarchy, that's that's going to be up to them to figure out out. And I don't think there's a role for the United States to be trying to impose anything on them. Yeah, but I get I get all that. But my problem is is that they need to move past monarchies. Yeah, but that's but that's the but that's the thing that that region of the world, they're all monarchs over there, it's all kingdoms and so and so. Don't don't project onto them a form of government. This is what's called like Western conceit, this idea of like that we've got the great system, you should use our system, you. Know, Okay, Yeah, I understand. Yeah, Yeah, I mean it's a fair question, and I think he I think he would do well to do exactly what you just said, to say, I will come in and I will be just a transitional figure to get us through this chaos and then we move to, you know, some democratic reforms, we do some elections or whatever, and move away from a monarchist system. But that's going to be their call. So let me ask you a questions. Don't you think that he would be perfect for the role, seeing how he's got all of the connections, he's been keeping this whole network thing going for all these years. He would be in my point of view, he would be perfect for the role. And then he just needs to step back and let the next person have at it. Yeah, No, he might be. I don't know anything about the guy. He's been out of the country for forty six years, so you know, they may not want him, but I don't know. I think that's going to be a decision if it comes to that, you know, and it hasn't come to that. The regime hasn't fallen technically yet, so Walt, I do appreciate the call. It's a good question. All right, that'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening. I could not do the show without your support and the support of the businesses that advertise on the podcast.
