Alrighty, So something's been going on on the other side of the planet that has relevance to what we are seeing in America. Yesterday I talked at great length. Some might say too lengthy, but not me. But it has implications and similarities to what we're seeing today, literally today and yesterday after the shooting of the woman in Minneapolis by an Ice agent and then a shooting by a Border patrol agent at two people that were fleeing from them up in Portland, right, I think it was Portland. I have the story here and we'll get to it. So I want to start though, on the other side of the world with Iran because this is instructive to what we are seeing in America. I have played a clip from this attorney slash commentator before. Her name is Elka Lebon. I believe she's Iranian. I believe she lives in Britain. And she spells out a brief history here of how of the protest guests that have erupted in Iran. I mentioned it last week. Well, I guess almost two weeks ago when they first started. And I am in full support of the uprising against the Islamic regime. I offer prayers and support to the people who are taken to the streets, knowing that these people know that they are probably going to be imprisoned and or killed, and many of them have been for trying to topple the regime after almost fifty years under their oppression and rule. So this is again her name is Elka Lebon, and she posted this sort of rundown. And as soon as she starts getting into how the regime came to power, you're going to understand the connection here. Iranian woman here to tell you what is going on in I wrong and why you should be paying attention. Hint, because it is a very familiar story. Most people believe that the story of Iran begins in nineteen seventy nine with the Islamic Revolution. But our story actually goes much further back. It begins with the Red Green Alliance, the alliance of the far left Marxists of the far right Islamists. Their union not only destroyed Iran, that ideology infected the West. That is why I say Iran is not the past. Iran is a warning of what happens when that ideology goes unchecked. And I'm about to tell you so. Let's go back in time for a few sure seconds. How did socialism make its way to Iran? A lot of people don't know this, but the Soviets actually entered Iran in the early nineteen twenties and the next a northern part of its territory, turning it into a socialist state. Well like all other socialist states, it was obviously doomed to fail, and failed it did. But that wasn't before the Marxist ideology went underground in Iran, infecting Iranian textbooks, academic life, education, and the interectual elite. But most importantly, what did this Marxist ideology teach young Iranians? It taught them that the West was their enemy and it was their moral duty to fight Western imperialism. This is what I call the Great lie why because it was never about fighting the West or even making Iran a better place. It was about using our lands as a revolutionary launch pad for their communist dreams. Then came the turning point. In the nineteen sixties. The Shah introduced the White Revolution. That was a modernization project. It increased women's rights, women's suffrage, education, literacy, land reforms, industrial expansion. It was supported by the Iranian people by referendum. But guess who rejected it, of course, the Red Green Alliance. They said that that type of modernization was westernization and that couldn't happen anymore. That was when the Marxists and the Islamists began setting fire to everything. That's why they set fire to rex cinema famously, because they said cinemas were a symbol of westernization. She's saying cinema, the movie theaters. They started torching movie theaters. That movement eventually led to the nineteen seventy nine revolution that overthrew the Shah and ushered in the Islamic regime. And who, pray tell, was the leader of this revolutionary movement, Iotola harmony. Like every practitioner of the Great Line, he mastered, borrowing Marxist language to promise free everything, free water, free education, free healthcare, free housing, free transportation. Well, Iranians discovered very soon thereafter, turns out there's no such thing as a free lunch. It was, of course a gigantic rift. What came next We've all seen a hands made tal style totalitarian theocracy, hanging, lynching, shooting, blinding people just asking for basic human rights. And who were the very first people to be executed as soon as that regime came to power, the same leftists that ushered them in convinced of the Great Line. Now, almost fifty years later, after multiple attempts, this is what the Iranian people are rising up to free themselves from. And it is very important to pay attention to exactly what they're chanting. They're not just saying down with the dictator. They're saying in a Jarri inna badd pa Lavi bad migada. What does that mean? It means this is the last battle, then Pa Lavi will return. Why because Reso path Lavi is the son of the last Shah who they ousted. Because of the Great Line, the Iranian people will choose their own future by referendum, but before they move forward, they must correct the mistakes of the past. They are calling for Rezo path Lavi as a closing of the Karmic loop, a symbolic return to the Iranian civilization that we once knew before we move into an even greater future. That is why you should be paying attention to Iran, because Iran is not history. Iran is a warning. They are not just in the aftermath of tyranny. They are in the. Aftermath of the Great Line, and that lie is here on outdoorsteps. Correct the Red Green Alliance, the Great Lie. Any kind of modernization in Iran prior to the fall of the Shah was demonized, right, this is a sign of westernization. Can't have it rejected and then violent overthrow of the government and people think, oh, this is going to make our lives better. And what happens after the revolution is that anybody who's not on board, who wasn't on board, or who is a destabilizing force, they're first up against the wall. That is as it has been throughout history. It is always the same course. From John Sexton at hotair dot com about the protest going on in Iran. Iranian police clashing with protesters's resulted in dozens of deaths. The protests, though continue. The BBC reports the protests have spread throughout all of Iran's now thirty one provinces, presenting the largest challenge to the country's clerical establishment since twenty twenty two. Verified footage from the last ten days shows evidence of anti government demonstrations and gatherings in more than forty towns. In cities that number has increased, including in several regions previously perceived as being highly loyal to the state. More than one hundred videos which were geolocated and checked for publication date paint sorry publication date paint a picture of the scale of the unrest, with people taking to the streets in many major cities of Iran and presenting the largest challenge to the state since the Women Life and Freedom protests in twenty twenty two. Regime tried to soften the opposition classic socialist style by throwing some money at it. Right, you get here, have some money. They are offering a new monthly payment of seven dollars a month, seven seven dollars at just seven dollars, that. Is a small fraction of the basic needs for most. Iranians, who basically need somewhere around two hundred dollars a month for living expenses and such. From USA. Today, anti government protests appear to accelerate. Yesterday I saw I was kind of hoping last night as I was watching the feeds, that that the regime could fall last night because the protesters were planning to march on the Iranian revolution Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps their headquarters. There were protest marches and people were slaughtered, which now raises a question of when Trump promised to help the Iranian people, what does that mean? All right, I hope you had a happy holiday season, But tell me if something like this happened at your house. Your family and friends are gathered around. Maybe y'all are in the living room and you're laughing, swapping stories, reminiscing, and then somebody says, hey, Dad, remember those old VHS tapes? Did you ever get them transferred? And then the room gets all quiet. All eyes are on Dad, who says, oh, you know, well, I've been meaning to but I just having gotten around to it. Look, don't let those priceless memories sit in a box for another year. All Right, Create a Video has been helping families in the Charlotte area preserve their history since nineteen ninety seven. Today reporting anti government protests in Iran appear to accelerate on January ninth. So yesterday sparked by anger over the collapse of the country's currency and a broader sense of hopelessness and disillusionment with Tehran's clerical leaders. Okay, well it could also be I don't know, the fifty years of oppression that might be it, along with the imprisonment and murdering of political opponents, the beating of people and women for not wearing the hey job right, the motorcycle gangs terrorizing the population, the siphoning off of hundreds of billions of dollars over decades to try to pursue a nuclear weapon to murder a bunch of Jews and Americans. Meanwhile, Tehran doesn't have running water, right like that might be a that might be part of the issue too. Also, Iran was filled with Persians and they were not Arabs, and they were not predominantly Muslim, So there is also that The uptick in unrest also comes as President Donald Trump warned Iran's authorities against killing peaceful protesters, saying Washington quote will come to their rescue. I don't know what that means. I'm not expecting the president to say to the public what that means, because there may be some leverage and operational security that he's trying to maintain here. But the regime has murdered its citizens that are protesting. Last night, there were, uh, there was there was a mass slaughter of people. And you know, there is video. I would not recommend you go find it, but it is out there. Net Blocks, which is an Internet watchdog, said that according to its data, Iran's authorities had imposed a nationwide internet blackout like you can see I've seen the the line of like internet service, and it's kind of like this, this line, you know, running across a chart, and it's you know, running horizontally, and it's steady, steady, steady, and then all of a sudden, boom, it just craters and goes to like zero. They shut it all down, which I think is indicative of the seriousness that the regime is treating this uprising. Again, this is occurring in every one of their thirty one provinces. It's occurring in all of their major cities. It's hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people, if not millions. So they had imposed a nationwide internet blackout as well as other forms of strict digital censorship amid the turmoil. This makes it difficult to draw definitive conclusions about the scale and severity of the demonstrations and the government's response. But some videos and images have slipped out. They've been published on social media by opposition groups and human rights monitors. In some protesters can be heard calling for the overthrow of Iran Supreme leader Ayatola Ali Khamanie and the return of the exiled son of Iran's last king, Mohammed Reza Shah Pahlavi, Iran's last shah, was overthrown in the nineteen seventy nine Islamic Revolution. His son and heir, also named Reza Palavi, lives in Virginia. Iran's religious rulers have for years struggled to bridge the gap between their theocratic priorities and the expectations of a young society that seeks more social, economic, and political freedoms. Oh USA today, don't ever change my goodness. That's the yeah. The the brutal Islamic authoritarian regime that is ruled with an iron fist. They have They have struggled to bridge the gap between their theocratic priorities, yes, their Islamic rain right. They have struggled between this, like we have to we have to kill all the infidels. We've got to kill all the Jews. We have to prioritize spending on a nuclear program to kill all the Jews. Like I know, like this is what we are called to do by Allah. I know, you want to get some avocado toast, But priorities here, young'ins. No, you women, you're not allowed to walk around without a head s fund can't do that. The US based human rights Activist news agency reported at least thirty four protesters and for security personnel have been killed twenty two hundred arrested over the last twelve days. By the way, you know what the Iranian regime has been doing, and now the protesters have learned this. After the last few uprisings, which is. They go into the hospitals after a demonstration, they'll go into the hospital and just take people out of the hospitals, and they are not exactly picky about who they take, so they raid the hospitals afterwards, and then they take them off to the jails and kill them right. Iran Human Rights, which is a Norway based monitoring group, said at least forty five protesters, including eight children, have been killed by Iran security forces. However, the demonstrations which began in Tehran last month have spread to all of the Iranian provinces have yet to reach the scale of unrest that started in twenty twenty two and carried over into twenty three, and were ignited by the death of Masa Amani. According to the monitoring group, she was the twenty two year old woman who died while in police custody after being detained for allegedly violating Islamic dress codes. Members of Iran's Guidance Patrol, It's so called morality police claims she was wearing her he job incorrectly when she was arrested and then beaten and tortured to death in custody. See that's what you get with the Red Green Alliance, because the Reds are not going to be able to beat the Greens. Once the Red Green Alliance succeeds, the Reds will be beaten by the Greens. The Islamists will murder all the Reds. Iranians media has downplayed the scale of the protests, posting videos of empty streets. And then they had a bit. They posted a video of a pro regime demonstration with you know, thousands of people walking in the streets to show look, everybody still is on our side or empty streets, nobody's in the streets at all. Also, this was a fun moment where Iranian State TV aired the Tucker Carlson podcast. Yeah, Tucker Carlson talking about you know, Iran not being that bad of a place and all of that or whatever, and yeah, so they were broadcasting Tucker Carlson to their with translation just in case you were wondering, like what his content is serving. This a pretty good indication. I don't know why, and I don't care. When it comes to Carlson, I don't care. I talked a little bit about the back in December. I have accumulated a whole bunch of more stuff, and I will be revisiting this topic of you know, the influencer or podcast to stand as it's being referred to as. I'm not going to do that now. I will only say I used to enjoy watching Tucker Carlson, but I haven't watched his show in a long time because the stuff that he is doing is of no interest to me, and I think borders on dangerous if it is not dangerous itself. I've also ditched the Megan Kelly program. Used to like watching her program, and now I've unsubscribed to her. Not going to watch her anymore either. I'm just done. I don't know where, I don't know what their principles are, and so I'm not going to give them my attention because that's, you know, the attention economy. If I have to choose between watching an hour of her or watching an hour of say Michael Malice interview Roseanne Barr. I'm actually going to get more out of the Michael Malice interview, so I'm gonna spend my time watching that. In his first major address to the nation since the demonstrations erupted almost two weeks ago, coming E said that Donald Trump should focus on problems in his own country. He also accused. Iran's protesters of ruining their own streets to make the president of another country happy. And he also, hang on a second, where is it here? M M, well, yeah, he said that they're doing the bidding of Donald Trump all as well. And by the way, speaking to Hannity on Fox News, Trump suggested that the Ayatola may be considering leaving Iran, saying he's. Looking to go someplace. It's getting very bad, which would be awesome if that guy were to get on a plane and flee the country, probably land in Cutter, one of Tucker's favorite countries to visit, or maybe go to Putin's Russia. Tucker likes that place too. That would be awesome for the Iranian people. And do you know the disruption in this terror matrix between the ousting of Maduro the if the regime in Iran falls like those are huge pieces of this network that now fall away. It would be I mean, it would be a new world. All right, Holiday football has arrived. So what has been going on? I know it's halfway around the world, but it actually matters. It matters to like the future of the planet and how the the countries are going to interact with one another. It matters to our security, our allies security. Iranians have been taking to the streets now for uh oh, it's like I think now probably like ten or eleven or twelve days every day. Their economy is in shambles. And this breaking news from Le figaroau Viga ro figa Row. I think it's how that's pronounced. The family of Mohammed baguer Gli Bath, the speaker of Iran's parliament, has filed requests for French visas to flee Iran, which is great news. Watch where the families and the elites, Watch what they are doing, watch where they are going. This is it's another version of the preference cascade. I talk about it all the time. Slowly at first and then very quickly right, people don't know something is going to happen, and then it's like a trickle, a trickle and it's not really happening, and then boom, everything explodes. Which, by the way, that is also what the theory of change is for the leftists who are utilizing any and all issues they can in order to destabilize the West. That's why you're seeing these protests all across the country over the shooting up in Minneapolis. Okay, that's the point. Everybody sees the shooting. Everybody talks about that case taught where the tires turning, were they spinning or was he hit whatever. Everyone's focused on the case, on the issue, on the details of that. That's not the that's not the issue. The issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution. You've got these networks that are already in place. They have been doing their work. They've been recruiting people, and they've been indoctrinating them to believe that, you know, the democracy is at stake, that all is lost unless you what As the lieutenant governor of Minnesota, he said a couple of months ago that people are going to have to be willing to put their bodies in front of ice agents, and we said at the time, like they're fomenting violence. This is a problem. This has been a growing problem, but a long term problem on the left that people don't want to address Democrats and media. But I repeat myself, they don't want to address this. They can hear every dog whistle while pretending not to be the dog, but they can hear every dog whistle from anybody on the right. But when you have people in elected positions explicitly saying this stuff, they just can't hear it. Can't I can't hear it. I have long believed this is a theory of mine that in order to make it in journalism, which I speak as a former reporter. I was a reporter for a decade, went to school, you know, got journalism training and all of that, nobody ever offered me this offer. But I can only assume there has to be some kind of an offer that is made to people at some point, which is this you can pick, you can choose to know the ulterior motives of either all Republican officials or all Democrat officials. That's the only thing I can figure out, because for some reason media has no problem deciphering all of the ulterior nefarious motives about why Republicans may be doing something that they're doing, But for some reason, they can never they can never quite figure out if there may be another motive for somebody on the other side of the political aisle. Very weird, so very weird. The issue isn't the issue. The issue is the revolution. Let me get a couple of messages on here. This is from hell In who says Elon needs to turn Starlink loose. I think it's already he has said. Elon said he has activated Starlink I think for free in Iran, so he's already done that. The issue is you got to get the hardware smuggled in. But that is reportedly happening, and I suspect that's why we're getting some of the stuff that we are getting, is that some of this hardware has made it in now. I've also seen some concerning reports that Iraqi militias and I think some Syrian militias maybe have been coming into Iran now to help put down these protests. Yes, but we shall see high pete calendar. Okay, that's seven oh four number. That's not it's not calendar. There is no D in calendar. It's k A l I N e R. Anyway, I've been watching a YouTube channel called two C TV or tao C t O U s I E t V. It's Iranian. They have a lot more information about the new Iranian revolutions. Suggest you watch it to be better informed. You're not really sure. Random person on the text message line, what are they saying? Is it an. Iranian regime YouTube channel? I don't need to hear a single damn thing coming out of that regime. The only thing I need to the only information that the regime would say that I would be interested in is that they're leaving. Because the only reason to listen to the regime is to know what they want you to think and then assume the opposite. That's the way the Soviets used to go about their daily lives. People in the former Soviet Union they would read Pravda, they would read the state media, but they only read it to know what the state wanted them to think. That was it. They knew that they were being lied to, and the state knew that the population knew, but it didn't matter. That's how totalitarian states operate, so no, um, I'll look I'll look it up during the break and see if it's a regime channel or not. But that is I will say this is one of the things that is remarkable about this uprising is that it is getting far more coverage. It is being driven by and covered by social media, not the legacy media like the Babes has been abused for the last week for not covering what's been going on in Iran, and then I think the first story that they did was something like basically a press release rewrite from the regime. Russ says, Pete brother, you are crushing it on the history slash, deep dive exposure on everything from trans Antifa, college, ideological capture, local state governance, and now the start of the Red Green Revolution. I really do believe that this kind of content is your superpower. Well that and juvenile humor. Yeah that worked. Yeah, that's fair. That's fair. Look, I've said this many many times over the years. Okay, Eddie says, it's not a regime show, it's anti regime. Okay, well, then I will look into it, thank you, Eddie, because I have not seen two see or teuse channel. Oh I've said this before, which is. I understand that most people who are productive members of society don't have time to go deep onto all of these topics, and that's why I do. If I was being a productive member of society, I would not have the time to do it either. So I am a giver, all right. If you're listening to this show, you know I try to keep up with all sorts of current events, and I know you do too. And you've probably heard me say get your news from multiple sources. Back to the text line, Bain says, Pete, you are also an expert on HOA retention ponds. You are such a renaissance man. It's true. Although I will say, if I don't mind taking a point of personal privilege, I will just point out that now I have now retired off of the Landscape committee in the HOA, then moved over to I went to the Communications committee. But it's gonna be I think it's gonna be a little less work for me, which is gonna be good. Having solved all of the problems in the landscape from Gary, the video from the ice agent's phone that shot the protest or in Minneapolis has now been released. I tagged you on Twitter. Okay, I'll take a look at that during the break. What is this? Eighth three Numbers says Since this morning at seven am, I have had nineteen phone calls, sixteen emails, and twenty two text messages. None of the people on either end of these communications have been shot by ice. I think it's because they were working and not interfering with federal agents also trying to do their job. That's a good I mean, that's a good guess. It's hard to know for sure. Seven oh four number ass can't the radical leftist run amuck and just wait for the next Democrat president to pardon them? Yes, yes they can. And as I went over yesterday, this is the dilemma that the theory of change Marxists are forcing the administration into, is that you you accelerate, you amplify, you get more and more aggressive, you escalate, and then it eventually forces the FEDS to do something. Because in the theory of change that the Marxists supply, the action isn't always the action. It's the reaction that you're trying to that you're trying to induce. And when you get that reaction, it could it's usually some sort of a decision point that has to be made. And in this case, with all we're seeing regarding the enforcement of law, which that's what this is a that's what this is about. That's what all of the protests and the opposite to ice and all of that. This is democrats at the state and local level attempting to nullify US law. That's what sanctuary cities are. That's what the refusal to enforce federal law was under the Biden administration, letting in of millions and millions of people. They're forcing a they're forcing a friction point, and like right now, it is to try to induce Trump to initiate the Insurrection Act, right to declare an insurrection insurrection and go put these things down with violence. Basically, That's that's what they want him to do because then they can they can say, see, he's a tyrant. See he's the orange hitler. See he's using the military against his own people. But at the root of it, the flashpoint is that they're going to They're going to demand that states ignore federal law and not prosecute people who are interfering with law enforcements. That's the tactic. Speaking of the massive waves of illegal immigration, here was a story from the Aviationist dot com. A Chinese national has been charged in the United States with unlawfully photographing sensitive military infrastructure at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri that is home to the US Air Force's B two Spirit Stealth bomber fleet. The charges were announced by the US Department of Justice and outlined in a criminal complaint unsealed this week. According to the DOJ, the suspect thirty five year old Killin Wu Wait. His name is Killin really Qi l I n He's a Chinese national. He was arrested and charged with unlawfully photographing vital military installations and equipment. Federal prosecutors say he was observed taking photos in the cityity, at wh Air Force Base and at another base as well. According to the complaint, on December tecond last month, the Whiteman Air Force Base Office of Special Investigations investigated a report of a suspicious mini van bearing a Massachusetts license plate near the perimeter of the military base. Air Force patrolmen were dispatched to the area. They encountered Wu, who stated that he was there to observe the B two Spirit aircraft. The patrolman informed him that he's not permitted to take photographs or make video recordings of the military installation. The following day, according to the complaint, AFOSI was notified that the same mini van was again identified at a perimeter fence of Whiteman Air Force Base. So agents went to the area to investigate and lo and behold, who's there but Wo Woo's who. Wu admitted to taking videos of the B two Spirit aircraft and numerous photographs of the perimeter fencing, a gate, and military equipment. Wu showed investigators his phone, including images of I guess that is one nice thing. Like when you get Chinese nationals that get busted doing this thing and government officers show up and they're like, show us your phone coming from the communist Chinese country, He's like, oh, yeah, here you go. I'll open it up for you. Here, take a look. Like so accustomed to the state big brother behavior in China under the communist regime that he immediately just turns the phone over. Here you go take a look. Or keep in mind, and we've talked a little bit about this before. A lot of people who are allowed to come to America from China, they are then instructed by the Communist party back in China to engage in espionage and information collection that if they don't do it, like some harm will come to them or usually some harm will come to their family that is still back in China. So this guy may have been doing this because the commis told him to and he had no choice. And so when the patrolmens show up and they're like, show us your phone, He's like, oh, thank you, please here take this, send me back. You know. Wu showed investigators his phone. It had a whole bunch of photos on it and recordings. They observed eighteen images and videos. He admitted he had taken of the installation and the equipment. He also admitted to having photographed another US Air Force base and its military aircraft as well. It's not named. The other base is not named. He is a Chinese national who had unlawfully entered the country. He crossed in in June twenty second, twenty twenty three, near Nagallis, Arizona, and at the time he was arrested by immigration authority. He was taken into custody, but due to a lack of detention space, he was released on his own recognizance to await immigration removal proceedings, which were scheduled for February ninth, twenty twenty seven. We talked about this during the Biden administration, when they just opened the gates and gave everybody access to the CBP one app and you could apply for a quote asylum. Right. So, everybody's just flooding the system. The bed space is jammed up, right, They've got no vacancies, personnel is overwhelmed. They just flooded the system. Classic Cloward Pivet strategy. On December third, twenty twenty five, ICE rearrested WU. While authorities have not publicly connected this case twenty broader campaign at least so far, it nonetheless reflects ongoing concerns within the defense and intelligence community about persistent low level collection efforts targeting military facilities, particularly those associated with nuclear deterrence. Remember my rule number one about comis they lie. Never trust a comy. All right, that'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening.
