Iran War Update: Ceasefire extended... maybe? | Hour 3

This episode is presented by Create A Video – President Donald Trump posted on social media that he would holding off on renewed attacks on Iran to give the regime time to "come up with a unified proposal" for a second round of diplomatic talks. Slight problem... Iran's regime is fractured and refuses to talk until the United States makes concessions - like lifting the naval blockade.

I did not do one yesterday, so I'm going to fold in some of the some of the hits from yesterday into this update. But we will start with sort of the latest, which is a statement from President Donald J. Trump posted up on truth Social Quote. Based on the fact that the government of Iran is seriously fractured, not unexpectedly so, and upon the request of Field Marshal Assim Munir and Prime Mi Sbaz Sharif of Pakistan, we have been asked to hold our attack on the country of Iran until such time as their leaders and representatives can come up with a unified proposal. I have therefore directed our military to continue the blockade and in all other respects remain ready and able, and will therefore extend the ceasefire until such time as their proposal is submitted and discussions are concluded one way or the other. Okay, So I'm going to keep the blockade up, and we're going to keep the ceasefire, and you guys need to get your stuff together. You know. Part of the problem with the first round of talks in Islamabad, Pakistan was that the people that were there, all eighty of them from Iran, they did not have any authority to actually agree to anything. So this is part of the problem is that the Iranian regime is fractured, as Trump says here, right, that the government is fractured. You have and I've talked about this for a couple of weeks. Now you've got sort of the civilian wing, and you know, these are the guys that are like the finance minister and all that stuff. I mean, don't get me wrong, they're you know, Islamist and everything. They're part of the regime, sure, but they're looking at things like what comes after, Like how we're even if we survive, the regime survives, how are we going to rebuild, Like we have no money, the costs it's going to take us fifteen years to rebuild, right. So they're looking at and the currency is collapsing, the blockade is blocking like everything in and out. They need food, they can't get their exports through, like all of this stuff. And they're like looking at it and saying, we're not going to have any money. We're not gonna be able to pay our soldiers, right, We're not going to be able to keep skimming all of the money that we skim to live. Our lavish lifestyles. Right. So that's the villion side of it. Then you have the IRGC, not the National Army. That's separate, right. The National Army is different than the IRGC. The IRGC created as sort of a domestic terrorist force. These are the guys that you know set up the proxies in all of the other countries around the region, around the world. These are the guys that guard the Mollahs, the Iyatola's right. They are like your your secret police. It's like your stas you know. These are and the Basieg. These are guys that are that's part of this. These are the they run the checkpoints on the streets, They run around beating women. If I can see a strand of hair, you know, the besiegs. So that's part of the IRGC my suspicion, and from the reports that I have seen, the IRGC leader is in control. Now, that's why we haven't seen the Ayatola, who you know got hit in the initial strike that killed his dad, the you know nepo Iahtola. There he gets elevated despite you know the fact that he doesn't have this background required to be the Iyatola. He is also the son of the Ayatola, and they specifically said no hereditary uh succession lines anything like that, so they violated their own rules in order to keep this guy who you know, lost a leg, is severely disfigured from the initial strike, and they've got him sort of weekend at Bernie someplace, and every now and again, some you know, written statement gets issued in his name, but nobody has seen him. Right. The closest we have come is literally a cardboard cutout of him that they paraded around on a stage and people like cheered the cardboard cutout. I suspect that guy's like in a coma or something. And it's the IRGC that's calling all of the shots and threatening the civilian leadership, and it seems like the civilian leadership is more interested in cutting some kind of a deal to protect what infrastructure remains. Right. So Mechthi Parpanche, the executive editor at Iran International, said, two weeks ago, Trump announced a ceasefire widely understood to be tied to the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. Hormos. I think it's how they pronounce it Iran, because they make fun of us for saying Hormoz. Iran said that it would not reopen the strait while Hesbelah was still under fire in Lebanon. Hesbelah one of the proxy armies of Iran. They set it up over there in order to you know, attack Israel from another more advantageous position. So hes Blah after So when the ceasefire gets announced, Israel now it's not running, you know, flights over Iran doing bombing runs and stuff. So now it frees up their air force and they just turn to the north and they go in and they start hammering Hesblah, and so then Iran says, no, no, no, they're covered by the ceasefire too, like you got to stop attacking them, which was kind of a tell that it's a proxy army for Iran, and they never mentioned the Palestinians, the cause so central to their ideology. Somehow, the Palestinians, they never get any mention in any of these ceasefire talks. Anyway, hes Bela is still under fire from Israel. So then Trump helped secure a ceasefire between Israel and hes Belah, and the Israelis were not happy about that, which is weird because I thought we were controlled by the Jews or something. But apparently Trump pressured Israel to say stop so we can have the talks. Okay, But then the Strait of Hormuz doesn't open, right, they keep and it's not open. It's it's disrupted because they're threatening to attack ships. So then Washington responds to the Iranian blockade with a blockade of its own. If Iran denies others free passage, it cannot expect freedom of passage for its own ships. Right now, you're locked in here with me, right, famous line from a Bronx tale. Right now, you're in here with me. Now you can't leave. So now Tehran is saying that it's not going to negotiate because of the blockade. So what Parpanshi from Iran International says is this is the operating logic of the Islamic Republic. Create a crisis, deny responsibility, and protest the consequences. That's their MO. Treasury Secretary Scott Besson said, as on Twitter, ASTUS has made clear the US Navy will continue the blockade of Iranian ports in a matter of days. Carg Island storage. This is their oil hub in the Persian Gulf. Their storage will be full and the fragile Iranian oil wells will be shut in constraining Iran's maritime trade directly targets the regime's primary revenue lifelines. The US Treasury will continue to apply maximum pressure through economic fury, that's the name of the operation to systematically degrade Tehran's ability to generate, move, and repatriate funds. Any person or vessel facilitating these flows through covert trade and finance risks exposure to US sanctions. We continue to freeze the funds stolen by the corrupt leadership on behalf of the people of Iran. So there's multiple pressure points being applied here. Also, we had Senator Chris Murphy say something really stupid, which is kind of on brand for him, Connecticut democrat US Senator. I'll tell you what he said and his attempt to walk it back and explain himself, which actually made it a little bit worse. We'll get to that in a minute. You know, stories are powerful. Visit Creative video dot com. Senator Chris Murphy, a Democrat representing Tehran. I'm just it's a joke. He's actually representing Connecticut. So yesterday I think it was yesterday, No, sorry, Monday, an account on Twitter named Ali Vyez amplified Iranian propaganda that twenty six Iranian shadow fleet vessels had bypassed the US blockade. Okay, first off, let's just think about that for a moment. Do you believe that the quote shadow fleet of these tankers. Do you think that they were able to sneak past the destroyers that we have set up outside of the strait of Ormus. Seriously, twenty six ships got biased? You think that? I when I saw that report, I was like, that doesn't sound that doesn't sound right. How do you let twenty six ships get by you? I have way more confidence in our military, in our navy than that. Okay, and then it turns out actually it was propaganda, it was not true. But Chris Murphy, the Senator from Connecticut, he retweeted this and he said awesome, to which he was after which he was dragged in the comments section, got ratioed into orbit because people are saying, you're cheering for the terrorists, You're cheering for the enemy. What are you doing right, And that then prompted him to have to respond. He says, Okay, Twitter, I can't believe I need to clarify this. But obviously Trump's bungled mismanagement of this war is not awesome. As I have said a million times here, it's a disaster and he should end the war immediately. My tweet was something called sarcasm. Okay, so he's claiming that was just sarcasm. So instead of instead of him saying awesome, he's saying awesome. That was the well. And there is a way, by the way, to convey sarcasm in a tweet, like you literally just like right s a RC or you spell out sarcasm like you you write that in there, or you do in a little emoji with the eye roll, you know, to be like that would convey sarcasm. But he did not do that. He just wrote awesome, And so people thought he was cheering on the terrace. No. In fact, he says, I was just being sarcastic because Trump's terrible, He's misma. He needs to surrender immediately, which is so much better. Right, Like, that's if we just walk away right now, leave the IRGC and control of the Strait of Warmus. Like that that sounds like an awesome idea. Right, stop trying to dismantle their nuclear weapons program. Let them build back their missile and drone fleet. Let them build back their army and air force, or their navy and air force. Yeah, that what could go wrong? Sounds like a winning idea. Not sure that's better? Just take the l David Hersani, writer for The Washington Examiner. He says Murphy has been rooting for their Iranian regime for a decade. It's not surprising. It's not just one post. Even the tweet he was responding to was sent by Ali Vaez, a literal regime conspirator. Quote. As an Iranian, based on my national and patriotic duty, I have not hesitated to help you in any way, from proposing to your excellency a public campaign against the notion of nuclear breakout to assisting your team in preparing reports on practical needs of Iran. That's what Vayez wrote to the regime in twenty fourteen. So he's a propagandist for the Iranians. That's who Murphy is amplifying. In twenty seventeen, Murphy secretly met Iranian Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif in Munich. In twenty eighteen, Murphy was smearing anti regime Muslim reformist groups on the Senate floor. In twenty twenty, he was comparing Cassen Solomani to administration officials to Trump administration officials. Solomoni was the the IRGC guy, leader of the Kuds force that we whacked with a drone, and Murphy was out there saying that he is the same as the Trump officials. You are if you are equating the Iranian regime to any American administration, you have lost the plot. You have taken the black pill right. You are a victim of a demoralization siah. In twenty twenty two, Murphy was also openly advocating for lifting sanctions on the Revolutionary Guard the IRGC. That's who this guy is. That's who Chris Murphy is. Iran International, citing an analysis published by Time magazine yesterday, says Iran's decision making structure shifted further toward a military security corps since the war began, with civilian institutions increasingly limited to implementing decisions, not actually making them. The analysis argues that bodies such as the Presidency and Foreign Ministry know L longer function as independent strategic centers, while the Supreme National Security Council has become more weighted towards security figures. Right, So the IRGC is trying to take over. So if there's going to be a regime change, it's it's probably going to come from some mid to higher ranking national Army person who is able to you know, motivate and inspire a bunch of army conscripts to to overthrow the Islamic Revolutionary Guard. Right, That's where that fight is probably going to happen. But like, we don't know who that is yet. I'm still waiting to see, if you know, I saw there was an explosion that was set off at an IRGC checkpoint over the weekend, which indicates that, you know, some Iranians have been able to make some you know, some I D s or something, which I hear they're very good at. So maybe some of the weapons did get through. That's my working theory. I could be completely wrong. But when Trump came out and said, oh, we sent the Iranian people weapons through a third party and they took them, and I'm very mad about it. It's possible that the Kurds. Everybody thought that he was talking about the Kurds. It's possible the Kurds did not take them, and he was just saying that. So the regime doesn't know. Let me proceed over to the text line. Sid says, maybe the Ayatola could use the auto pen to sign an agreement. Oops, that only works for Democrats, and Trent says, are you describing the supreme leader of Iran or are you describing Joe Biden during his reign as president? There are a lot of similarities. Yeah, Danny says, maybe we can send the Virginia Democratic Party over to Iran so they can counsel them on how to set up a more representative ruling class. They're coming with the heat. This from Iran International, posted up about forty minutes ago. The IRGC affiliated Tasnim, that is their state run media, claims that Iran's negotiating team in Islamabad that they sent last week did not negotiate about the nuclear program, saying it was not on the delegations agenda from the beginning. The report added that Iran's nuclear chief was not part of the delegation for that reason. It was totally not because he's already been eliminated. And then I saw yesterday they had some some public gathering of regime loyalists out in the streets and they had some huge, you know, mobile rocket launcher, like a missile launcher or something, and they like, you know, drove this big truck with the missile on it, like into like Martyr Square or whatever it's called. And they like raised it up and they were all like, yeah, look at this missile. And I looked at it, and I said, I mean, well, that's awesome for us target painted thank you very much. We will we will monitor that thing and where it goes, and if your ceasefire doesn't hold, expect your toy to bite the dust. Open source intel reporting on the same story about and again take this from where it's coming from. It's coming from the IRGC media outlet, right, so this could this could not be true. Don't know, but Iran's negotiating team in Islamabad was sent to tell the US that talks cover political, military, economic and legal issues only, not the nuclear file. As in the last talks in Pakistan, the Iranian negotiators were not allowed to discuss nuclear issues, which is the red line for the US. Like that's like, you are not getting a nuclear program anymore. You had a chance. We offered you the fuel for civilian reactors for free. We said, that was the that was one of the things that Trump offered, like, we will provide you the nuclear fuel that you claim to need for your civilian purposes. And they said no. Why would they say no, because they don't want it for civilian purposes, right, it's they say this by the way, they say they they have a right to enrich, they have a right to a nuclear weapon. They say that. So what else let's see here. Oh. The UAE embassy. Says the UAE faced more attacks by Iran than any other country. And the ambassador old sham Hashimi, I think is how he pronounces that. Al Hashimi, he says, it's very clear that Iran has chosen to go down this path because we are everything they are not. We are a model of economic prosperity. We have religions and cultures from around the world. Okay, moving on Politico quoted Reim Al Hashimi, senior UAE official, who says, quote, we used our oil wealth to build an economic powerhouse. They are a pariah state. They wanted to break that model. Yeah, the UAE has taken more hits from Iran than I think any of the other neighboring Gulf nations. Iran condemned the UAE yesterday over the arrest of individuals accused by the UAE of links to Tehran. Iran said the allegations are baseless and politically motivated. Foreign Ministry spokesman Asmael Bajeh said the detentions were carried out under unfounded pretexts. Bageh said raising such baseless claims and anti Iran narratives would not deflect attention from what he described as the role of US and Israeli allies and military actions against Iran. The UAE. What prompted Iran to say this was that Abu Dhabi said that it had dismantled a group accused of planning attacks and undermining national stability, and then said those that they had arrested all had links to Iran. So Iran saying completely baseless, I don't believe them. Meanwhile, you've got the European leaders their meeting, they're talking, they're crafting some things, drafting some resolutions, and then they issued a joint announcement saying that they're going to send a naval mission to the Straight of Hormuz to protect freedom of navigation. We shall see. Do you have enough boats? I mean, like the UK has got three, They've only got like three boats left. So like you're going to take thirty percent of your fleet and send it to the Straight of Hormuz, We shall see. Hey, you know what, I welcome the cooperation. If you're going to send some ships over there to help protect international waterways. Awesome. In a related story, Raphael Advanced Defense Systems chairman Yuval Steinitz says that within three to five years they expect development of a laser that can also intercept ballistic missiles from Iran, which would be a game changer. Right, the Jewish space lasers are real. Marjorie Taylor Green was right. Yeah, if they can use lasers to shoot down drones and rockets and even missiles, then then they don't have to worry about, you know, using up all of their AMMO for their defense systems. What else? Oh? Donald Trump put out a truth social the other day. He said, whether people like Israel or not, they have proven to be a great ally of the United States of America. They are courageous, bold, loyal, and smart, and unlike others that have shown their true colors in a moment of conflict and stress, Israel fights hard and knows how to win, to which James Lindsay, noted anti communists, said, Trump is right. If American conservative young men weren't poisoned by a leftist psyop against Israel, they would think this is one of the most coolest, most badassed places on Earth. But they've got yet another mind virus elsewhere. Washington Freebeacon reports the Palestinian authority has paid salaries to convicted terrorists who were released under the October twenty twenty five Gaza ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas Right in order to get back the bodies and the hostages of the Israelis that were kidnapped. They released all of these terrorists from the prisons, and the Palestinian authority paid salaries to them. The pay to slay program still in effect. Just in case you were wondering, if anything has changed among the Palestinians. President Trump said today that eight female protesters who I had seen this being reported yesterday that there were eight young women that were scheduled to be killed by the IRGC, by the Iranian regime, and by hanging. That's how the regime prefers to murder its people. You know. They go to the public square and they put the nooses around their necks and they hoist them on a crane, which is not the same as like the hangman's platform, you know, the gallows, like that. Mechanism is different. You stand on the trap door, put the noose around your neck, trapdoor opens, you fall, and it breaks your neck, kills you. What the Iranians prefer is to put the noose around your neck and then slowly hoist you up like thirty feet in the air, and you basically strangle to death. Way more painful, way more. It takes a lot longer, right, That's how they prefer to murder their people. So these eight women were scheduled to be executed, and they were all these pleas and cries in the Iranian diaspora saying, you know this, you know, please don't do this, don't kill these women because they had just hanged a bunch of young men last week, and they so they're increasing all the protesters that they can gather up that they didn't mow down in the streets a couple months ago. They're still running around trying to find them, and they torture them in the prisons and then they hang them in the public square. So Trump said today that eight female protesters that have been scheduled to be executed will no longer be put to death. He said four will be released immediately and four will be sentenced to one month in prison. He posted that on truth Social Iran's judiciary then responded that Trump's claims that Iran had canceled the executions of eight women were based on false reports. That's not true. They said, none of them we're facing execution. We totally wen't going to kill them. What are you talking about. We weren't going to hang them. None of these women were facing execution for their sentences to be revoked. And then they accused Trump of trying to manufacture achievements from false news. I don't know who to believe, but if I have to pick, I'm gonna pick not the Iranian regime. It's kind of my default. And then there's this. The President of Argentina, Javier Malay, began an event packed visit to Israel over the weekend, and it included receiving a Presidential Medal of Honor and lighting a torch in Israel's Independence Day ceremony. Yesterday, Malay and the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Nintanyahu launched the ISAAC Accords on Sunday, an initiative conceived by Malay to encourage closer cooperation between Israel and Latin American countries and Israeli dipped plematic source told Jewish Insider that Ecuador and Paraguay are expected to join the ISAAC Accords as well. Israeli media have reported that Costa Rica, Panama, and Uruguay Uruguay Sorry Uruguay have also expressed interest. Malay said, quote Isaac the Son of Abraham represents an initiative to extend the model initiated by President Trump in the Middle East to Latin America, addressing challenges such as terrorism, anti Semitism, and drug trafficking, while inviting other nations to join. Nations that share values have a mission to work together with the support of the United States, we have the opportunity to bring about transformative change. US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee took part in the launch ceremony and called Malay and Nntanyahu quote two of President Trump's greatest friends. Seek to bring back the values that are the underpinning of Western civilization and Judeo Christian values upon which our nations were built. Israel and Argentina also announced direct flights between the countries. The first l al flights to Buenos Aires are expected to start in November. Meanwhile, back to the ceasefire talks, tensions between Iran and US nearly reached the boiling point over the weekend after US forces seized and attacked an Iranian cargo vessel that tried to evade the naval blockade. It was the first interception by the US since the blockade was put in place, and Iran vowed to respond. A source familiar with the matter told The Hill that US troops in the region were prepared to conduct strikes against Iranian military targets if given the green light by the President. On Sunday, Trump threatened to target Iranian infrastructure if Iran did not agree to the deal offered by. The US at negotiations. While Trump is holding back, the Treasury Department announced new sanctions targeting Tehran's ability to source parts for its ballistic missile and drone program. Oh and by the way, one of the ships that I guess maybe this one that we seized reportedly had a whole bunch of precursor materials for the ballistic program. And they came from China. Awkward. All right, that'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening.
