[00:00:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Write your smartphone or tablet and again thank you so much for your support

[00:00:28] [SPEAKER_00]: So who's looking forward to the gang war?

[00:00:32] [SPEAKER_00]: No anybody? No. Okay. No I'm not either.

[00:00:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I just didn't want to influence anybody's vote based on my opinion so yeah there's apparently going to be some sort of a gang war erupting

[00:00:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, this is probably going to start in the like the southwest US

[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_00]: But it'll probably end up here at some point I guess

[00:01:00] [SPEAKER_00]: The Mexican Mafia have you heard of these people? I have never heard of the Mexican Mafia

[00:01:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Which kind of sounds a bit like appropriation

[00:01:11] [SPEAKER_00]: If I learned anything from the sopranos like that seems like it seems a little appropriative

[00:01:19] [SPEAKER_00]: The Mexican Mafia

[00:01:21] [SPEAKER_00]: It is a coalition of Hispanic gangs that has primarily involved in drugs in the southwest

[00:01:29] [SPEAKER_00]: And I think maybe they've got some ties to the Sinolewa Cartel maybe

[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Rumor has it

[00:01:39] [SPEAKER_00]: So the Mexican Mafia do you know who they're mad at? You know who they're going to you know who they've they've green lighted or green lit

[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Killings of

[00:01:52] [SPEAKER_00]: TDA

[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_00]: That is a trend day or Agua

[00:01:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Right the gang that took over the apartment buildings

[00:02:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I love more on that in the middle

[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, so apparently the Mexican Mafia is worried about the growing power and recklessness of the Venezuelan gang trend day or Agua

[00:02:14] [SPEAKER_00]: And so to combat the growing power and recklessness

[00:02:18] [SPEAKER_00]: They're going to start killing TDA members

[00:02:22] [SPEAKER_00]: They've they've green lit murders

[00:02:25] [SPEAKER_00]: That according to a Homeland Security expert who tracks Cartel behavior

[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Guy by the name of Jared Sedolski tells the Washington Times

[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_00]: That TDA

[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_00]: The Venezuelan gang

[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Has sent thousands of members across the border into the United States and has been encroaching on the Mexican Mafia turf

[00:02:49] [SPEAKER_00]: They are known as La M or Emma

[00:02:52] [SPEAKER_00]: La M a E M E

[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_00]: La M a

[00:02:57] [SPEAKER_00]: That's what the Mexican Mafia is called La M a

[00:03:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And they have now responded with a kill order

[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_00]: They've been green lighted to murder them said Sedolski is information comes from a former senior

[00:03:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Senaloa Cartel operative with ties to the Mexican Mafia

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Trend day or Agua

[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Apparently like is even too reckless for the Mexican Mafia

[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_00]: The cartels

[00:03:26] [SPEAKER_00]: They become the face of crime amid the Biden border surge

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Right Steven Dinen and the Washington Times

[00:03:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Gang members have been implicated in some of the most high profile cases over the past year

[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Including a migrant mob attack on New York City police

[00:03:44] [SPEAKER_00]: The killing of the university student Laken Riley and Georgia

[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_00]: The rape of a girl at a government run migrant shelter in Massachusetts

[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_00]: The gang also has quickly expanded its reach into more mundane criminal enterprises

[00:03:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Such as drug distribution and prostitution

[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_00]: The arrival of a new gang is always touchy

[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_00]: And by touchy I mean, you know, murdery

[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_00]: It gets touchy on the streets as the old players try to figure out a new balance

[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah they're fighting over turf

[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_00]: They have to decide whether to ignore the newcomer try to co-opt it

[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Or you know, take it over or go to war

[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_00]: And Lame has chosen war

[00:04:35] [SPEAKER_00]: John Fabric Authority a gang expert and retired senior executive at US immigration and customs enforcement

[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_00]: He also tells the Washington Times quote

[00:04:46] [SPEAKER_00]: You're going to see a lot of brushback from gangs and cartels

[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_00]: If this does spill over to the confrontations between these gangs unfortunately

[00:04:55] [SPEAKER_00]: The normal civilian always gets caught in the middle

[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because that's you think about where

[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Where the turf battles are going to erupt

[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_00]: The civilians that live in those areas generally are going to be of the migrant community

[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_00]: And they will suffer as a result, which is always the case

[00:05:20] [SPEAKER_00]: These policies that are supposed to be so humane

[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_00]: End up victimizing

[00:05:28] [SPEAKER_00]: So many of the people that the left claims to care about

[00:05:34] [SPEAKER_00]: And sites as the reason for the policy in the first place

[00:05:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Former president Donald Trump through a spotlight on TDA, the Venezuelans, during the presidential debate

[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_00]: When he pointed to a housing complex in Aurora, Colorado

[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_00]: But down the road in El Paso, Texas city officials moved to shut down the gateway hotel

[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_00]: A residential hotel after TDA infiltrated that building

[00:06:02] [SPEAKER_00]: City police said criminal activity exploded once TDA took hold

[00:06:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Mr. Fabric Authority said that TDA is the ice former ice guy

[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_00]: He said TDA is a rival

[00:06:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Reminds him of the cocaine gang wars in the 1980s, which were fueled by the arrival of tens of thousands of Cubans from the Mariel boat lift

[00:06:27] [SPEAKER_00]: He noted similarities to TDA except that the US government

[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Now is making it even easier for the Venezuelans to gain a foothold

[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Why? Why would we do such a thing? Why do we want these gangs in the southwest

[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, their government is giving generous support to new arrivals under Biden's quote-unquote parole programs

[00:06:54] [SPEAKER_00]: One program offers what he is described here as an iffy legal status to Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguan and Venezuelans

[00:07:09] [SPEAKER_00]: If they can get a sponsor and fly directly into airports thereby skipping the southern border

[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And not counting towards the totals of the southern border crossings

[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Not handy, right? If you're trying to mask the data, you're trying to hide the ball here or I guess

[00:07:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Correct the data, right? You don't want people to actually know how many people are coming in you fly and direct

[00:07:39] [SPEAKER_00]: You fly them directly in and then they don't count as a border crossing

[00:07:44] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like a win-win

[00:07:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, win-win lose really

[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, win-win lose lose

[00:07:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because you got local communities that now have to

[00:08:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Local governments that can't keep up with the expenses of the new arrivals demands for

[00:08:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Government services and such

[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, and the crime. So I guess that would be win-win lose lose lose

[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah

[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_00]: So he goes on to say in this article

[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Open to a broader range of nationalities

[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_00]: There's another program that welcomes unauthorized immigrants with the same iffy legal status

[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_00]: As long as they pre-skedule their arrivals at border crossings

[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_00]: So if you want to come in the boarding, if you just if you just call ahead

[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Then we'll give you the same status too

[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_00]: None of them has illegal visa to enter

[00:08:46] [SPEAKER_00]: But most are granted parole quote unquote and given some transition assistance

[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Work permits are issued to those who want them

[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Right, this is the quote parole status

[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_00]: This is what

[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Alejandro, my yorkas the head of Homeland Security

[00:09:01] [SPEAKER_00]: This is what he was challenged on

[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Because he's supposed to be making according to the law

[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_00]: He's supposed to be making these decisions

[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Essentially on a case by case basis

[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_00]: But he's doing these blanket parole approvals

[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Everybody that comes through just gets stamped

[00:09:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Come on in, yes

[00:09:17] [SPEAKER_00]: And that was not what the law was intended to do

[00:09:20] [SPEAKER_00]: It was supposed to be for individual cases

[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Mr. Fabricatory says

[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Or maybe it's

[00:09:28] [SPEAKER_00]: For break authority

[00:09:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, he says we are literally setting things up for TDA

[00:09:33] [SPEAKER_00]: We're funding NGO housing for them

[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_00]: That's non-government organizations

[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_00]: He's at the quote nonprofits that are funneling all of the money

[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_00]: From left wing donors into these programs

[00:09:46] [SPEAKER_00]: So he says we're funding NGO housing

[00:09:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yes, sorry. It's also coming from taxpayers

[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_00]: The NGOs are also funded by us by you, by me

[00:09:55] [SPEAKER_00]: We're providing them three months of rent

[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_00]: We are providing food benefits

[00:09:59] [SPEAKER_00]: They don't have to struggle, they can go right to crime

[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Sniffing out gang members from among the broader Venezuelan migration

[00:10:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, is pretty difficult because the US does not have access

[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_00]: To data from Venezuela

[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Because they don't like us very much

[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_00]: So we can't

[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not like we can ask them, hey, can you show us all your criminal records for these guys?

[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_00]: They're going to give it to us, even if they kept it

[00:10:25] [SPEAKER_00]: And if they do keep it and they know

[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_00]: They're not going to tell us they don't like us

[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_00]: So that's kind of tough

[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_00]: To suck out who is a trendy or aguam member

[00:10:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Stories are powerful, they help us make sense of things

[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_00]: To understand experiences

[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Rumors are flying

[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_00]: I have an exclusive

[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Breaking

[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I am aware of rumors that are flying

[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what the rumors are about

[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_00]: They have something to do with Mark Robinson

[00:11:58] [SPEAKER_00]: They're rumors

[00:12:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And there's a story that's getting ready to drop

[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe by CNN and WRAEL that were leaked

[00:12:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Oppo Research by the Josh Stein campaign

[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_00]: It's all just rumor

[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_00]: They don't know

[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Carolina Journal though

[00:12:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Just publish the story

[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_00]: North Carolina Republicans are

[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Bracing as word spreads

[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_00]: See my previous comments about the rumors

[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_00]: As word spreads

[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_00]: About a damning new story

[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Looming

[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Regarding Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson

[00:12:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Sources with direct knowledge

[00:12:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Have spoken with Carolina Journal on the condition of anonymity

[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_00]: And said that Robinson is under pressure

[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_00]: From staff and members of the Trump campaign

[00:12:42] [SPEAKER_00]: To withdraw

[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_00]: From the governor's race

[00:12:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Due to the nature of the story

[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Which they say involves activity

[00:12:50] [SPEAKER_00]: On adult websites

[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_00]: In the 2000s

[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_00]: So what happened to the

[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_00]: They find is his anonymous profile

[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Or something on like grinder or something

[00:13:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know is that one of the sites

[00:13:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Tinder?

[00:13:12] [SPEAKER_00]: What do they add on them?

[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what the site

[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_00]: According to sources Robinson has resisted

[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_00]: With drawing and

[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Has denied the story

[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Privately

[00:13:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Today is the state deadline

[00:13:27] [SPEAKER_00]: To withdraw from the race

[00:13:30] [SPEAKER_00]: So

[00:13:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Why would you leak it now?

[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Why wouldn't you wait till tomorrow?

[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Because now there's an opportunity

[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_00]: To get them off the ballot

[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_00]: The deadline to remove his name

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_00]: From the ballot is already passed

[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_00]: But if he were to withdraw

[00:13:49] [SPEAKER_00]: He could do that

[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_00]: And then

[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_00]: The state party could put somebody in his place

[00:13:55] [SPEAKER_00]: But his name would still be on the ballot

[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_00]: But he would have withdrawn

[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Does that make sense?

[00:14:03] [SPEAKER_00]: There are only four weeks to go

[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Until early voting

[00:14:05] [SPEAKER_00]: And absentee ballots are due to go in the mail

[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Tomorrow

[00:14:08] [SPEAKER_00]: According to the sources

[00:14:09] [SPEAKER_00]: The campaign of attorney general Josh Stein

[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Robinson's opponent

[00:14:13] [SPEAKER_00]: And our top cop

[00:14:15] [SPEAKER_00]: In the state

[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Leaked the story

[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_00]: To CNN

[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_00]: And WRAL

[00:14:24] [SPEAKER_00]: And it is expected to hit the air waves

[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_00]: At some point today

[00:14:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Also according to the anonymous source

[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Earlier this week

[00:14:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Leaders in the Trump campaign privately told Robinson

[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_00]: He was not welcome at rallies

[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_00]: For Donald Trump

[00:14:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Or for his Vice presidential nominee

[00:14:40] [SPEAKER_00]: J.D. Vance

[00:14:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Robinson was slated to speak

[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_00]: At the Vance appearance

[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Yesterday

[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_00]: But his office announced that he

[00:14:49] [SPEAKER_00]: He had tested positive for COVID

[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_00]: So which is it?

[00:14:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Or maybe it's both?

[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_00]: It could be both?

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Should Robinson decide to withdraw

[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_00]: From the race

[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_00]: He is opposed to at the moment

[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_00]: If he were to withdraw

[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_00]: The North Carolina Republican Party executive committee

[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Would need to choose a replacement candidate for November

[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_00]: According to elections expert Andy Jackson

[00:15:21] [SPEAKER_00]: The John Locke Foundation

[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Sivitoss Center for Public Integrity

[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_00]: The deadline to change the name on the ballot

[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_00]: As passed

[00:15:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Once the state

[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Board of Elections

[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Meals the absentee overseason military

[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Ballets to Marrow

[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Changing the names

[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Could run a foul of the 14th Amendment

[00:15:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Instead any votes

[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_00]: That Robinson receives a by November 5th

[00:15:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Would go to the replacement candidate chosen by the North Carolina GOP

[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_00]: So it would be Robinson's name on the ballot

[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_00]: But it wouldn't be a vote for him

[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Per se

[00:16:45] [SPEAKER_00]: More rumor

[00:16:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Business nc business North Carolina

[00:16:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Business nc dot com

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Story by Kevin Ellis

[00:16:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Republican gubernatorio candidate Mark Robinson

[00:16:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Is expected to go on CNN today

[00:16:59] [SPEAKER_00]: To defend himself regarding a pending story

[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_00]: The National Network is preparing

[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_00]: That according to a campaign advisor

[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_00]: But who's not actually working on the campaign

[00:17:10] [SPEAKER_00]: But works for the company that has the account

[00:17:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I think that's right

[00:17:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I spoke to Mark this morning and he was prepared to go on CNN and defend himself against

[00:17:18] [SPEAKER_00]: The allegations said Jason Williams a partner in end game consulting

[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_00]: That's the agency handling his campaign

[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Williams described the CNN story as a quote hit piece

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_00]: The reported story makes explosive allegations regarding statements

[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_00]: The National Network says Robinson made in an online message board

[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_00]: In 2009 Robinson did not hold elected office until 2021

[00:17:44] [SPEAKER_00]: After he had run for lieutenant governor in 2020

[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Quote the main ones I remember were that they were alleging he made some

[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Extremely racist comments about Martin Luther King

[00:17:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Referred to himself as a black Nazi and used anti-Semitic language referring to Jews

[00:18:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Robinson denied making the statements

[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_00]: A hundred percent denied when I spoke to him he said Robinson

[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_00]: As you know talked about how pro Israel he is denied holding anti-Semitic views

[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_00]: So there's another rumor

[00:18:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Now

[00:18:20] [SPEAKER_00]: The previous story I gave you from Carolina journal was citing

[00:18:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Anonymous sources that said it was about

[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Online chat rooms of a sexual nature

[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_00]: But also that this opo research was leaked

[00:18:36] [SPEAKER_00]: If you can call it that it's not that's not a leak

[00:18:39] [SPEAKER_00]: It's opo research paid for by Josh Stein's campaign

[00:18:43] [SPEAKER_00]: And they handed it off to allies in the media

[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_00]: WRAL and at CNN to damage their political opponent

[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Which I got to think they might not be too happy about them running the stories today

[00:18:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Dropping the stories today because today is the deadline

[00:18:58] [SPEAKER_00]: To take yourself off the ballot now your name will be on the ballot

[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I should say two withdraw from the race he will he could be withdrawing from the race

[00:19:10] [SPEAKER_00]: But if he does so he has to do it by today by the end of the day

[00:19:16] [SPEAKER_00]: If he doesn't then he's going to be the candidate no matter what right

[00:19:21] [SPEAKER_00]: If he withdraws from the race his name remains on the ballot as the ballots are you know printed once again

[00:19:28] [SPEAKER_00]: And they're fixing to send them out tomorrow

[00:19:32] [SPEAKER_00]: See I told you this was exclusive breaking news. I know rumors

[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean after they're published

[00:19:40] [SPEAKER_00]: By business and see in Carolina journal and I've read them I know rumors too

[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_00]: So those are the rumors now here. Oh, here's the thing it is possible that there are two stories

[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_00]: That are getting ready to drop CNN's and WRALs

[00:19:57] [SPEAKER_00]: And it is possible. I have no idea if this is true, but as long as we're just speculating on stuff allow me

[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_00]: It is possible that CNN people and WRAL people caught wind that the other outlet was

[00:20:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Getting ready to drop a story based on

[00:20:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Chatroom online comments which you know if you've been following Mark Robinson

[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_00]: You know he has made lots of online comments over the you know the course of the last you know 15 years or so

[00:20:35] [SPEAKER_00]: He's been pretty prolific in it and as far as I know I don't think he's ever deleted any of the comments

[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_00]: So they're still there. So as long as somebody is willing to do the work

[00:20:45] [SPEAKER_00]: And read through all of his posts and replies and everything like that

[00:20:51] [SPEAKER_00]: But it's possible that people in the newsrooms

[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_00]: caught wind that

[00:20:58] [SPEAKER_00]: The other outlet was getting ready to drop their story

[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_00]: And they didn't want to get scooped

[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_00]: So they may be rushing to get it out because they think the other one has the same story

[00:21:08] [SPEAKER_00]: You know like think about CNN could have been working on the story about the Nazi comments

[00:21:14] [SPEAKER_00]: And WRAL was working on the story about the sex chatting

[00:21:21] [SPEAKER_00]: And they don't know what the content of the material is

[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_00]: But they know that the other outlet is working on

[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Some story about comments he was making in an online chat

[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And they think oh they're working on the same story we've got

[00:21:35] [SPEAKER_00]: So they got a rush it through. They got to get it published

[00:21:38] [SPEAKER_00]: And maybe that's why they're doing it today because it seems to me like you would wait until tomorrow

[00:21:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?

[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Drop the story tomorrow after the ball let's go out and this way they can't get them off the ballot

[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_00]: They can't we well I keep saying that that's not correct

[00:21:54] [SPEAKER_00]: He is going to be his name is going to be on the ballot

[00:21:56] [SPEAKER_00]: But he won't be able to withdraw from the race

[00:22:00] [SPEAKER_00]: So if you wait till tomorrow

[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_00]: That's the way you really really secure the victory for Josh Stein

[00:22:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?

[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_00]: If only there was a sign or something that we could have seen

[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Mark Robinson

[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_00]: To me like the bigger story here is if you've got the Trump campaign people

[00:22:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Telling him to get out for some other reason then his polling is seen as too bad

[00:22:30] [SPEAKER_00]: To you know that he may be dragging Trump down

[00:22:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Because if that's the argument like that's just whatever like

[00:22:38] [SPEAKER_00]: No, you don't drop out because they want you to drop out

[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Because they're afraid you're going to drag them down

[00:22:44] [SPEAKER_00]: That's what the Democrats did

[00:22:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?

[00:22:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Supposedly that's their cover story

[00:22:49] [SPEAKER_00]: The cover story was that Joe Biden was dragging down the down ballot races

[00:22:54] [SPEAKER_00]: So if that's the argument from Trump then I call BS on that too

[00:22:59] [SPEAKER_00]: I suspect there's something going on here that they are aware of people are aware

[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Now Robinson according to both of those stories that I just cited

[00:23:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Robinson is denying all of this

[00:23:12] [SPEAKER_00]: And here's the problem for me is that when media report stories of what Robinson said or did

[00:23:21] [SPEAKER_00]: More often than not almost in all cases when you read the whole comment

[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Or you listen to the whole speech

[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_00]: It turns out that it's not what they say he said

[00:23:33] [SPEAKER_00]: That's my problem. So I don't know. I'm just letting you know that there are a bunch of stories apparently

[00:23:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Getting worked up today and everybody in North Carolina politics is all about the rumors flying around

[00:23:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Rally about Mark Robinson

[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see

[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_00]: So when I was a kid my grandpa died with Alzheimer's and before he died my mom and my dad and all of us really helped take care of them as he got progressively worse

[00:24:01] [SPEAKER_00]: 40 years ago there were no treatments and not much support for caregivers and family

[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Things are different today because of the work of so many people including the Alzheimer's Association of Western North Carolina

[00:24:12] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a great organization with awesome people they've got huge hearts. I've been a supporter for like 25 years

[00:24:19] [SPEAKER_00]: This cause means a lot to me. I participate in the annual walk to end Alzheimer's and I am leading a Charlotte team this year

[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_00]: It's called Pete's Pack you can sign up and join the team and walk with me. It's on October 19 at Trouest Field in Uptown

[00:24:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Sign up at alz.org slash walk and then just look for my team Pete's Pack and there's also a link in the podcast description here

[00:24:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Also I'm going to be emceeing the Gastonia walk on October 5th so make a team and join us or make a donation to help me hit my goal. I would really appreciate it

[00:24:51] [SPEAKER_00]: There are a bunch of other walks around the Carolinas and you can go to alz.org for all of the dates and locations

[00:24:58] [SPEAKER_00]: We are closer than ever to stopping Alzheimer's and if you can help us get there. We would really appreciate it

[00:25:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Will you come walk with me for a different future for families for more time for treatments?

[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_00]: This is why I walk

[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Joe Bruno from W.S.O.C. TV here in Charlotte says that a spokesperson for Mark Robinson's campaign says quote,

[00:25:21] [SPEAKER_00]: It is absolutely fiction that Robinson is dropping out

[00:25:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Mark Robinson

[00:25:30] [SPEAKER_00]: So that's a spokesperson. He's not quoted, but I'm guessing it's Mike Lonergan

[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Got some messages here

[00:25:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Russ says it would be just like the Democrats sign especially to float a quote pending bombshell to create doubt

[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_00]: They know only have it one go nowhere to be a big nothing burger or something that has already been debunked or addressed

[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_00]: That's true too. These could be a rehash of stuff that has already come out and nobody cared about

[00:26:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I say that but Robinson is trailing in the polls

[00:26:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Good Wahoo says Pete Dale Fallwell was the much better candidate quality or sorry the much better

[00:26:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Quality and qualified candidate for North Carolina Governor. He has been an extremely good and effective North Carolina state treasurer

[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_00]: While Robinson was by many accounts often a no show North Carolina GOP and the voters dropped the ball by picking Robinson as a purely DEI candidate

[00:26:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Hmm, Ouch

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_00]: I've always liked Dale Fallwell myself too. So, I don't know so now WREL is WREL's got a story about former North Carolina senator Stevens

[00:27:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know who this is. Other Republicans to endorse Josh Stein

[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Michael Highland from WNCN

[00:27:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Says when I asked about

[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_00]: The status of Mark Robinson's campaign and whether he's considering dropping out his campaign spokesman wrote quote

[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Where on earth did you hear this absurd nonsense is the press just making stuff up out of whole cloth now

[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, yes

[00:27:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely they do that but by the way, you know

[00:27:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I remember when Pat McCorry was governor

[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_00]: This same sort of swirl started up in Raleigh and around him and they were convinced that there was going to be a drop of information

[00:27:51] [SPEAKER_00]: You know some you know well sourced well reported story about Pam McCorry that was gonna end his

[00:27:59] [SPEAKER_00]: His term as governor end his career or something

[00:28:03] [SPEAKER_00]: And it was a scourless accusation that was not true and there was no story ever run

[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_00]: So that could be what's happening here too like we don't know we don't know if WREL or CNN

[00:28:17] [SPEAKER_00]: We don't know if they've got stories this could also just be

[00:28:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Stories that are leaked out in order to

[00:28:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Create this very kind of controversy

[00:28:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, the Josh Stein campaign is behind the op-o release absolutely

[00:28:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Um

[00:28:38] Hmm

[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry. I'm just checking to see if there's anything that has developed in the last few moments

[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Before I get back to the gangs

[00:28:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh

[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Do do

[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't see any

[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay, here we go. Dallas Woodhouse former

[00:28:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Chairman of the North Carolina Republican Party or executive director

[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I never remember

[00:29:04] [SPEAKER_00]: But Dallas Woodhouse

[00:29:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh he is reporting on Twitter breaking in comments on earth in secret chat rooms

[00:29:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Mark Robinson is found to have praised mustard barbecue

[00:29:15] [SPEAKER_00]: That's that could be that could end his campaign too

[00:29:20] [SPEAKER_00]: You don't know

[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_00]: This is North Carolina people

[00:29:23] [SPEAKER_00]: We don't know that

[00:29:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Um

[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_00]: So a lot of people quoting the Carolina Journal article that I read from earlier

[00:29:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Um that

[00:29:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Republicans and the Trump campaign are pressuring Robinson to drop out of the of the race

[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Um along with the launch of Republicans for Stein

[00:29:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Right, and business North Carolina and Carolina journal

[00:29:50] [SPEAKER_00]: According to this guy who is raw and robbed

[00:29:53] Taber

[00:29:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, he's some sort of lefty

[00:29:55] [SPEAKER_00]: But he's like, oh, they're all GOP aligned outlets

[00:29:57] [SPEAKER_00]: But well, the Carolina Journal is a news organization

[00:30:01] [SPEAKER_00]: But it is housed under the John Locke Foundation

[00:30:03] [SPEAKER_00]: So that is a conservative leaning

[00:30:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, think tank. The business and see

[00:30:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Is

[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_00]: I'd consider them to be a fair news source

[00:30:12] [SPEAKER_00]: All right, that'll do it for this episode

[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you so much for listening

[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_00]: I could not do the show without your support

[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_00]: And the support of the businesses that advertise on the podcast

[00:30:21] [SPEAKER_00]: So if you'd like, please support them too

[00:30:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Until I'm your heard it here

[00:30:24] [SPEAKER_00]: You could also become a patron at my Patreon page

[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Or go to vpcalinnershow.com again

[00:30:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you so much for listening

[00:30:31] [SPEAKER_00]: And don't break anything while I'm gone
