So... Along the same lines as we were discussing in the last hour, we got the governor whipping up a panic about absentee ballots being spoiled because these new rules, these onerous, suppressive new rules where you have to seal two envelopes instead of one on your mail-in ballot. And in fact, we're actually about a third of where we generally end up with spoiled ballots. And also you can obviously cure the spoiled ballot by doing a new absentee ballot or showing up in person early voting or vote in person on election day. Like you can cure the problems that because you didn't follow the instructions when you mailed in your ballot and the instructions say seal both envelopes because that's a more secure method of transporting your ballot. This way, nobody's tampering with your ballot. There's no ballot harvesting going on, right? Like that's, that's the idea behind sealing both of the, the envelopes, when you send in your mail-in ballot, but the lefties are whipping up this panic. And when you know, as you should if you've been listening this week, when you know about the operationalizing a legitimacy crisis, a plan to create a legitimacy crisis, pitting Democrat governors and attorneys general against the federal government to declare the federal government to be illegitimate, and you heard the criteria that these left-wing organizations, uh, have drawn up their red lines. One of them is an election meltdown. Okay. And as we heard from Mike, when I said he was, you know, like viewing everything through this paranoia of Donald Trump. And I've talked about this many times. Um, People think Donald Trump is going to seize the government and install himself as a tyrant and king for the rest of his life. They do believe this. They really do believe this. And if they just march with no king's placards enough, then Trump will, I guess, step down or something. I'm not really sure how that, like step one, march. Step two, unknown. Step three, we win. That's the plan for a lot of the people who are out there marching. But as we've been going over for the last few days, thanks to Data Republican's postings and her research and the videos that she has been exposing, we know that all of the people involved in their little corner of the world, in their little organization, they don't see the entire puzzle. They just know they're one piece. But part of the fuel for this is that paranoia. And despite the fact that I told Mike, the caller last hour, and I told my elderly neighbor years ago, when she was like, Donald Trump, if he wins re-election, this was before 2024, if he wins again, he's not going to leave office. I said, but he already left office. He already did. And if ever there was a moment... for him to seize the, you know, the power, it would have been, it would have been J six, right? That's when, like, just from a strategy standpoint, you had the best argument to make because he was already making it that he The election, there was a lot of suspicion about it and whether there was, you know, what happened down in Atlanta and what happened in Arizona, right? There were all of these conspiracy theories and all of these other theories that were floating around out there. And he was making these arguments and he was saying, you know, the rigged election, stolen election. He was saying all that. Wouldn't that have been the time? Wouldn't that have been the time? But he left. And then, of course, they changed the law in New York State to retroactively charge him for an accounting thing that his people did to pay off the porn star. So they could charge him with all the felonies. They thought that would throw him in jail for the rest of his life. They tried to charge him. Wait, wait, wait. That was it. Yeah, because then there was the other thing with the E. Jean Carroll, but that was a civil matter. Um, they tried, they went after his businesses to, you know, with the death sentence, they wanted to, to kill his business. They wanted to, they sick Jack Smith on him under the Biden administration, right? Everything weaponized against him to keep him from running again. They went, they meant to destroy him. And then he won again. And what did he do? He brought in Elon Musk for the Doge operation to try to reduce his the government spending, the government footprint to root out the waste fraud and abuse, right. To go through these departments and all that. Remember the famous, uh, cavern where all of the retirements had to be processed. All the paperwork had to be processed. And it was like the reason it takes so long to process retirement paperwork is because the elevator down to the bottom of this cave where all of the paperwork is done, that the, the elevator can only hold so many files. So like you're like, you're literally restricted in how many retirements you can process based on the speed of a freight elevator. Like that's the kind of insanity that exists too, because in the private sector, corporations and businesses, right. They will go through and they will find efficiencies because it is to their benefit to do so. Right. And so you clear out processes that no longer make you money, that are no longer essential to the business. You set something up to address a problem. Problem is fixed. You don't keep the thing there. You get rid of it. It's like, and I know this is a concept that a lot of lefties don't understand either, but it's like forest management, right? That you do controlled burns to clear out the underbrush because that becomes fuel for larger forest fires that then get out of control. So in a business sense, you're doing the same thing. You're clearing out a lot of the scrub brush underneath because it's not doing anything. It's costing you money. And it could create more financial hardship and then that kills your business. But in the government, there's no incentive to do that. In fact, there's every incentive not to do that. You have a constituency. You have people that work in these jobs and they don't want to be fired. And that's what we're seeing with the USAID backlash with them banding together to launch this color revolution against America. That's what they're doing. I'm convinced. All the evidence shows me that, and the evidence is their own Zoom calls. So that's what they're attempting to do. And so when I hear people come forward and say that they're going to start going after people, for example, Elon Musk, They're going to prosecute him. They want to prosecute him. They want to investigate him, and they want to throw him in jail. Okay, so why exactly? Well, we're not sure, but if you find me the man, I'll find you the crime, to quote an old Soviet expression. And I'm going to play for you a clip after this break. But I just, I just point this out for those who believe that their vote doesn't matter. And I'm mad about, you know, the Iran war gas prices or whatever else. And look, I like, I fully believe I look at it now and Trump never should have done the tariffs. I said it at the time. You better be right. That's what I said. Like, Tariffs are a tax. You're going to make everything more expensive. No, no, no, Pete, you don't understand. He's doing this other thing. He's reordering all of this and whatever. And I said, okay, you better be right. And it doesn't look like he was. It does not look like that was a good policy. And in fact, I've seen studies now that indicate that had he not done the tariffs, prices would have come down. They'd be much lower than what they are right now. So big self own their own goal, right? But remember where we came from, that conservatives were being censored all over the place. Elon Musk buys Twitter and opens it back up again and says, like, this is a free speech platform. Now Democrats say they want to investigate him and hopefully throw him in jail. And so you're going to give that party the power because of what, a naval blockade in the Persian Gulf? Like, after what he did? After what Elon Musk did, you're going to basically what? Just throw him to the wolves? The holidays will be here before you know it, and so now is the time to create precious and priceless family heirlooms that will last for generations. This is what, Kara Swisher? She is a podcaster, lefty. I'm looking for the... Because I thought I had... The name of the... Yeah, from the bulwark. I wanted to confirm. The bulwark. That is a never-Trumper... you know, alleged former Republicans that all, you know, went off and formed the bulwark as a refuge for, you know, real Republicans against Donald Trump. And I think it's funded largely by left-wing groups. And look, hat tip, great business model. A lot of Republicans did this. You got the dispatch as well. They got a lot of this funding from liberals that want to see Republicans bash Trump. And so it was a niche and it was a market demand that was there and they have filled it. So here's Kara Swisher at the Bulwark podcast talking about Elon Musk under what could have been a Kamala Harris presidency and what may be in store for the trillionaire developer now? Under Kamala Harris, he might be in jail right now, right? He is correct. And that's not because she's some avenging fury. No. Because there's a lot of questions around different companies of his. If Donald Trump loses the House and the Senate, I would worry. I'd be worried if I were him, you know, no matter how rich he is. There were all these agencies, some of which he put a knife in and killed in the Doge, many of whom were investigating him. He stopped like half a dozen investigations of his various companies. So they're going to start investigating again. You think he's not on the list? He's at the top of that list. Donald Trump obviously is at the top and his family. But Elon Musk is right up there for that. And you have to, he knows what's coming. Like he's not stupid. Like of all the many things you can say about him is he has a very big sense of fate. And I think it's coming for him and real hard. That was the only thing missing from that clip he has a really strong sense of fate does he really I don't know Elon Musk but I don't think I've ever heard him talk about fate so I don't know where she's getting that information from but far be it for me to suggest that she may be projecting something onto this guy but you can hear like this is like oh you know it could happen but that's the way she's phrasing it but What she means is like, this is vengeance. We're coming after you. The government is going to come after you. And here's a piece from Politico. Elon Musk, and by the way, do you think it's a coincidence that these stories are all coming out at the same time regarding Elon Musk? Elon Musk is facing a gauntlet of democratic oversight. That's how Politico cleans this up. This is the weaponization of the government against Elon Musk. And there are reasons for this. That I will get to. Back to Politico. Right. So don't call it weaponization. Don't call it vengeance or revenge. No, no, no. This is just a gauntlet of democratic oversight. Right. Democrats have long-eyed investigating the world's richest man and the GOP's top donor. They may get their chance if they win back congressional power in November, and senior members are mulling how a range of panels could target Musk and a huge swath of his businesses. Their list of potential probes is growing. Some members are eager to dig into Musk's possible role last week in throttling crucial Internet access to the Ukrainian military as President Donald Trump seeks to pressure the country into cutting a peace deal with Russia. By the way, why would the U.S. government have anything to say about that? Even if, and I don't know who did what there, I have no idea, but if Musk for some reason said, like, yeah, no, we got to, throttle it back or restrain or we got to you know take down the the service or whatever wouldn't that be between musk and ukraine what does that have to do with the federal government and congress like you didn't you didn't order musk to provide this stuff and you weren't getting government contracts to provide that to ukraine right so what are we talking about this is representative pramila jayapal member of the squad Kami, what happens when one guy gets a giant contract from the government and then uses it to do something that shuts down communication in a war that has been extremely important to the United States to support Ukraine? Okay, so they're going to go after him on this. All right. Musk's companies like SpaceX and Tesla rake in multi-billion dollar federal contracts and subsidies, as do all sorts of other businesses and such. Members of the House Oversight and other panels also want to examine Musk's role in eliminating a quarter million federal jobs during his time at Doge, withholding congressional appropriated money, and accessing sensitive government data. I'm not sure that Musk was actually doing the data analysis. I don't think he was the one that was combing through all of the stuff. Now, maybe he was, but I kind of feel like he would have outsourced that to all of the computer programmer people that he brought in that did the Doge stuff that you guys then doxed and got them in trouble and got them to quit or got them fired or whatever. I feel like it was those people that were doing the Doge stuff, but okay. So you're going to demand a full accounting of the damage that Musk and Doge caused. We will not let anyone obstruct our oversight, said House Foreign Affairs Ranking Member Greg Meeks, who also named Musk's part in the cruel dismantling of USAID as a prime target for his panel next year. So just in case you weren't clear as to why they really want to go after Musk is because USAID. That's what Meeks says. Just listen to what they say. All right, real quick. Every government number gets revised, right? Every projection gets walked back. Gold does not file corrections like GovCo. Trent says, how is the war in Ukraine extremely important to the U.S. other than maybe the rare metals? If anything, it's been diminishing our military stockpiles. if I am tired of any war, it's the Ukraine war. Thousands die each week for what? At this point, um, Jeff with a G, uh, uh, responding to, uh, the political story that talked about, uh, democratic oversight, nothing democratic about it. Also, Elon Musk used to be Democrats. Darling, Mr. Electric car, Mr. Save the planet. Yeah. Um, And says bulwark hacks are constant. Uh, Ms. Now talking heads. Yeah, that's what I said. There were, there was a, there was a market demand for these types of Republican apostates. Um, never Trump Republicans and they have supplied the market with that demand. So again, kudos to them for recognizing the opportunity and, uh, just, you know, going for it. However, um, What you're what you heard in that clip, that is a vengeance weaponization argument. That is, you know, you gave all this money to Donald Trump. You made all these cuts to government programs that we love. And so now we're going to haul you before various congressional hearings and we're going to. to try to destroy you. That's the point. That is the point. And here's another one. Uh, representative Maxine Dexter, who sits on the natural resources and veterans affairs committees, um, You may be thinking, like, what does that have to do with Elon Musk? Well, she sees Musk among the, quote, well-connected billionaire trillionaires who have seen government contracts as a way to subsidize their own company's research, development, and bottom line. We need to shut that down. I mean, not for our billionaires, of course. Like, no, no, no, no, no. Our billionaires, they're fine. Your billionaires, no. That's the standard. This gets back to something I've been saying for a long time, which is they don't articulate this, but it is in fact their philosophy, which is you might win an election, but you will not be permitted to govern. So the party of democracy, even when voters say this is what we want, we want the guy, for example, in 2024– We want to bring back the guy who's going to close the border because that's what he ran on. And the border crisis is out of control. And we want the guy who's coming in promising to close it all down. So we elect him. And what does the left do? What do Democrats and media, but I repeat myself, what do they do? They throw as much sand in the gears. They engage in lawfare, right? They do street protests. They try to obstruct law enforcement. They do everything they can to stop the will of the people being enacted. So you may win the election, but you will not be permitted to govern. That's what's going on here. By the way, Elon Musk saw this clip and he posted onto X, quote, Live by the sword, die by the sword. Those who pick fights with me should understand that I will find out who is really pulling the strings and come for them, not just their puppets. I don't know. I kind of feel like a guy with the resources of Elon Musk, he may be able to actually make that happen. Particularly when you have all this AI that's out there and you have people that know how to harness those AI tools like Data Republican, for example, and as they've traced the funding networks and such. Do you remember a website called Gawker? I do. Do you remember how they got taken down in court? Hulk Hogan. Remember they published a sex video or something of his and he sued them. Now, he didn't have all of the money necessary to destroy that outfit. But Peter Thiel did. And Peter Thiel harbored a grudge against Gawker for years because Gawker outed him as gay. He was in the closet. He didn't want to be outed as gay. They outed him anyway. And he funded that lawsuit. He funded Hulk Hogan and destroyed Gawker. So... Be careful who you're picking fights with, always, you know? Because the other side, they get a say in how this unfolds. In a separate tweet, Elon also responded with two words, and he said, message received. So he is aware of the stakes. That's why he's plowing hundreds of millions of dollars into races all across the country, notably in Texas. But this isn't the first time that he tweeted that very same message. He said the exact same thing to a state Democrat lawmaker in California after she posted something to the effect of screw Elon Musk. And it was about taxes and it was about his business, him taking over Twitter and all of this. And he said, message received. And you know what he did? He moved his businesses out of California, depriving them of hundreds of millions, if not billions of dollars in government revenue. Clint Brown, he is a venture capitalist, runs Harpoon Ventures. He also is a former Senate staffer, worked on Trump's transition team. He says the purpose of the house Democrats targeting Elon Musk is to build a narrative for something worse. Number one, prosecution of Musk. If they take power in 2020, uh, yeah, 2027 or even 2029, right? They, they want to jail him. They want to throw him in jail. Number two, vilifying a hero of capitalism in order to impose pseudo-communism. Number three, making the case that the system as run by the GOP is irredeemably corrupt and has to be overturned. Elon will need an entire sophisticated operation to defend him. This is not a job to figure out as we go, he says, and defense of Elon is defense of our entire system. He's the fulcrum. That could be true. I do not know. I cannot tell the future. But if you're smart, and Elon is smart, I suspect that they recognize what is coming for them. Do voters? All right, let me see here. Over on the text line... Beth's favorite Russ says it is wild how the unique evil that is Donald Trump in the white house caused all of these bulwark and similar folks to not only, not only oppose Trump, but to reject most of their previously stated beliefs and embrace nearly every moon bat leftist position. Yes, it has been a, he, he's sort of been a, like a, a catalyst, you know, in that he, he, he enters his, the, the soup or whatever of the, you know, what is the Republican party? And he ends up like catalyzing these reactions and you end up, it's one of the things I've noted for the last decade is how many of the people who accused Donald Trump of all of these things, some of them true, some of them not, whatever, but all of these accusations, so many of them are confessions, right? they are guilty of that which they accuse you. Like, oh my gosh, I can't believe Donald Trump called for violence and the same people who say that are calling for violence. Get in their faces at the gasoline stations, right? All of that. So worried about, you know, insurrectionist activity and all of this as they work towards a coup. Yeah, like, oh, I can't believe Donald Trump curses as they curse up a blue streak, you know, F Trump this and that at their rallies. Like, he is you. You are doing, the difference is, like, he doesn't apologize for it. He doesn't hide it. He just is that. That's who he is. And he doesn't try to dress it up. He doesn't make excuses for it. He doesn't pretend to be something else. Politicians, his critics, They pretend that they are above him, that they're superior. But in their own actions and words, they prove they're exactly the same. They are guilty of the very thing that they find so objectionable about Trump. It really has been a clarifying thing. Here's another text from Jim, I believe. Yes. He says, I would look for Trump to cut the Democrats' oversight committee off at the knees by a formal announcement just prior to the oath of offices being taken in January that he has completed a mass pardoning of all clearly in the crosshairs of the Dem oversight dreams and that it was done via the auto pen. And by the way, this is... this has been hinted at. So I haven't had time to get to it. It's been in the stack of stuff here of topics for the last, well, since yesterday, so now two days. Hopefully I'll get to it tomorrow, is this Alyssa Slotkin story of her threatening to, you know, basically apply pressure, threats, against any young people that want to go to work in the White House or for Republicans on Capitol Hill or whatever, right? It's to intimidate them to think that if you go and do work in one of these offices that you could be prosecuted. It could destroy your life. You'll have no job prospects and blah, blah, blah. And in the stories from the mainstream media outlets, There are references in there to the potential of Donald Trump issuing blanket pardons. Oh my gosh, that would be unprecedented. Actually, no, it would not. It would not be unprecedented. You can do blanket pardons. Jimmy Carter did it for the draft Dodgers. And Joe Biden did it for everybody that could potentially face charges. Right? You could literally just take Joe Biden's statements about all the pardons. Okay, sorry. You could take Joe Biden's staffers and handlers statements about all of the pardons that were issued via the auto pen and just have Trump issue that and just change the list of recipients. There's a fella on Twitter who, goes by the name of Western Lensman, and his analysis of the Kara Swisher comments that, you know, Elon Musk is already in the crosshairs for jail by Democrats, and he says, another one to put into the what Democrats plan to do if they take power file, right? So if you're thinking through what Democrats are planning to do, and you're like, Screw it. I'm going to sit home. That's how I'm going to reward Elon Musk for freeing Twitter, uncensoring that platform, right? I'm going to reward him by making him face jail time. Okay. Along with, you know, abolishing the Senate or the Electoral College, packing the U.S. Supreme Court, opening up the border again, like all of those things too. If Donald Trump loses the House and Senate, I would worry. I'd be worried if I were him. So they're going to start investigating again. You think he's not on that list? He's at the top of that list. Western Lensman says, they're all just saying this stuff out loud now. There are no secrets what they want to do. And the purpose here is, yes, not to just go after Musk, but it's to set the example for you, for me. This is what they plan to do to their opponents. Do you want that to happen to you? All right, that'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening. I could not do the show without your support and the support of the businesses that advertise on the podcast.
