Three election integrity measures passed out of a North Carolina Senate committee yesterday, over protests from Democrats who say they aren’t needed and will suppress votes. One measure prohibits private donations to local Boards of Elections (as we saw happen in NC in 2020). Another measure sets the deadline for absentee ballots to arrive by Election Day. And the third measure creates a mobile unit that can provide voter IDs to people at their homes.
