Tulsey Gabber, the Director of National Intelligence, has now joined Caroline Levitt at the White House briefing and she is going over this very information. So let's listen in. Thank you very much, good afternoon. At President Trump's direction and with the support and coordination with the House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rick Crawford, today we've released a declassified oversight Majority Staff report that was produced in Septembermber of twenty twenty. The stunning revelations that we are releasing today should be of concern to every American. This is not about Democrats Republicans. This has to do with the integrity of our Democratic Republic and American voters having faith that the votes cast will count. There is irrefutable evidence that detail how President Obama and his national security team directed the creation of an intelligence community assessment that they knew was false. They knew it would promote this contrived narrative that Russia interfered in the twenty sixteen election to help President Trump win, selling it to the American people as though it were true. It wasn't. The report that we released today shows in great detail how they carried this out. They manufactured findings from shoddy sources, They suppressed evidence and credible intelligence that disproved their false claims. They disobeyed traditional trade craft intelligence community standards, and withheld the truth from the American people. In doing so, they conspired to subvert the will of the American people who elected Donald Trump in that election in November of twenty sixteen. They worked with their partners in the media to promote this lie, ultimately to undermine the legitimacy of President Trump and launching what would be a year's long coup against him and his administration. We're here today because the American people deserve the truth, they deserve accountability, and they deserve justice. The records that we released on Friday that were ode and I records. Senator Chuck Grassley's release on Monday of what is known as the Clinton Annex, which was an appendix to the Department of Justice Office of Inspector General's twenty eighteen report, as well as the House Intelligence Committee's Oversight Majority Oversight report that we're releasing today, all come back to and confirm the same report. There was a gross policization manipulation of intelligence by the Obama administration intended to delegitimize President Trump even before he was inaugurated, ultimately usurping the will of the American people. I'm going to go over the key findings from the House Intelligence Report, which investigated the claims that were made by an intelligence community assessment ordered by President Obama and published in January of twenty seventeen. First, Putin's principal interests relating to the twenty sixteen election were to undermine faith in the US democratic process, not show any preference of a certain candidate. In fact, this report shows Putin held back leaking, held back from leaking compromising material on Hillary Clinton prior to the election, instead planning to release it after the election to weaken what Moscow viewed as an inevitable Clinton presidency. In the January twenty seventeen Intelligence Community assessment that President Obama ordered John Brennan, whose CIA director at the time, and the Intelligence community intentionally suppressed intelligence that showed Putin was saving the most damaging material that he had in his possession about Hillary Clinton until after her potential and likely victory. The report goes into great detail about the information that Russia and Putin had which on Hillary Clinton, which included possible criminal acts like secret meetings with multiple named US religious organizations in which State Department officials offered in exchange for supporting Secretary Clinton's campaign for the presidency, significant increases in financing from the State Department. Uh oh, that's bad. They also had documents that showed the patronage of the State Department to State Department employees who would go and support Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. There were high level DNC emails that detailed evidence of Hillary's quote psycho emotional problem, uncontrolled fits of anger, aggression, and cheerfulness, and that then Secretary Clinton was allegedly on a daily regiment of heavy tranquilizers. Then CIA Director Brennan and the intelligence community mischaracterized intelligence and relied on dubious, substandard sources to create a contrived, false narrative that Putin developed a quote unquote clear preference for Trump. Brennan and the ICE misled lawmakers by referencing the debunked Steele dossier to assess quote unquote Russia's plans and intentions, falsely suggesting that this dossier had intelligence value when he knew that it was discredited. The Intelligence community excluded significant intelligence and ignored or selectively quoted reliable intelligence that contradicted the Intelligence Community assessment's key findings on Putin's alleged support for Trump. Including this intelligence reporting would have exposed the ICA's claim. Including this intellelligence reporting would have exposed the ICA's claim as implausible, if not ridiculous. The Intelligence Community assessment omitted reliably sourced information, such as how some Russian intelligence officials were quote unquote planning for candidate Hillary Clinton's victory, while others assessed neither Trump nor Clinton would respect Russia's interests, as was reflected in the OD and I documents that we released on Friday. Multiple intelligence community assessments released in the months leading up to the November twenty sixteen election concluded that Russia had neither the intent nor capability to impact the outcome of the US election. On December fifth of twenty sixteen, the FBI and ODIE and I gave the House Intelligence Committee its first post election classified briefing, in which there was no mention of Putin aspiring to elect Trump by either agency. The Presidential Daily Brief, drafted on December eighth of twenty sixteen, stated that no Russia or criminal actors impacted vote counts. This document was pulled just hours before it was to be published due to quote unquote new guidance. If it had been published, it would have been briefed to both President Obama and President elect Donald Trump. On December ninth, twenty sixteen, a National Security Council meeting was called to gather President Obama's senior national security officials, which included CIA Director Brennan, then Obama, d and I, James Clapper, Susan Rice, and others. Following that secret meeting, DNI, Clapper's assistant sent an email to the intelligence community with the subject line potus tasking on Russia election medaling, tasking od and I leaders to create a new assessment per the President's request. All right, so let me stop it right there. This is I've rolled it back from when she began speaking. She is still speaking at the White House. So number one, that's a new new piece of information that apparently there was some promises of funding made via the State Department to religious organizations. Don't know which those would be, but that's part of this as well. Like, this is bad, people, this is very, very bad. And I know people, you know, Democrats don't want to focus on this. They don't want this to be true. I get that, much like there are probably people that don't want the Epstein connection to Trump to be true if it's as bad as everybody on the left thinks it is or says it is. Sure, but this is important, all right. If you're listening to this show, you know I try to keep up with all sorts of current events, and I know you do too, And you've probably heard me say get your news from multiple sources. Why. Some breaking news, former Governor Roy Cooper will announce he is running for the US Senate See being vacated by Tom Tellus. That just in Axios reporting the the Director of National Intelligence, Tulci Gabbert is appearing at the White House Press briefing right now. She's outlining this was a House Intelligence Committee report. It was based on an investigation launched by then Chairman Devin Nunez, Republican from California. It was dated September eighteenth, twenty twenty. At the time of the publication of the report, Representative Adam Schiff for Brains was the chairman of that committee, and the report has never been released to the public. It has remained highly classified within the intelligence community. That's what she just declassified today. That's what she's going over. And the key point here when she ran through that chronology which I gave you earlier in the program that in hour two I went over the chronology. The reason why they pulled the Intelligence Committee assessment and revised it was because if it had remained as the final product, it would have been included in the Presidential Daily Brief, the President's Daily Brief, or the PDB. They could not allow that ICA to remain in the PDB because it said Russia didn't tamper with the election to help Trump win. And why couldn't they leave it in the PDB. Because Trump had won and he was also getting the pdbs, they could not let him see it. So they have a secret meeting and Obama tasks the CIA with revising it, puts Brennan in charge. Brennan sticks the Steel dossier in it, and now the PDB says putin wanted Trump to win. Let's Resumetelligence Committee oversite report that we released today reveals that quote Unlike routine intelligence community analysis, the Intelligence Community Assessment was a high profile product ordered by the President President Obama. It directed senior intelligence community agency heads and created an intelligence community assessment limited to just five analysts using one principal drafter. This is not something that occurs in the normal path of producing an intelligence community assessment that reflects the views across the intelligence community. The production of this Intelligence community assessment was subject to unusual directives directly from the President and senior political appointees, especially the former Director of the CIA, John Brennan. The House Intelligence Committee oversite report also shows how later that same day, on December ninth, Brennan ordered the publication of quote unquote substandard reporting on Russian activities, which had previously been withheld from publication of prior assessments because the information was judged quote to have not met long standing publication standards. Some of the information later use in the Obama ordered assessment, over the objections of veteran CIA officers, was quote unquote unclear or from unknown sources. The Intelligence Committee's oversight report reveals that CIA Director Brennan overruled senior CIA officers who challenged the Obama ordered intelligence assessment, stating quote, we don't have direct information that Putin wanted to get Trump elected. Yet the Obama directed assessment was published on January sixth, twenty seventeen, which explicitly stated, quote, we assess Putin and the Russian government aspired to help President elect Trump's election chances when possible by discrediting Secretary Clinton and publicly contrasting her unfavorably to him end of quote. And FBI, then led by John Brennan and James Comy, expressed high confidence in this judgment, while the NSA expressed moderate confidence. Yet, as the report we released today shows, the ICA the Intelligence Community assessment did not cite any report where Putin indicated helping Trump win was an objective. The opposite is true with regards to the Steele dossier. We now know that one of the source documents that the Obama administration used in the creation of this intelligence assessment in January of twenty seventeen was none other than the discredited, unverified Steele dossier. The House Intel report states quote contradicting public claims by then CIA Director Brennan that the dossier was not in any way incorporated into this intelligence assessment. The dossier was referenced in the intelligence assessment's main body text and further detailed in a two page assessment annex. John Brennan lied, and he denied using this dossier in this intelligence assessment that President Obama ordered because he knew it was discredited. It was a politically motivated manufactured document. He directed senior CIA officials to use it anyway. CIA officer told the House Intelligence Committee staff as they investigated this quote, the Director of the CIA, John Brennan, refused to remove it, and, when confronted with the dossier's many flaws, responded, quote, yes, but doesn't it ring true. Even the bipartisan Senate Select Committee on Intelligence report published in twenty twenty, criticized the FBI's handling of the Steele dossier, noting its completely unverified nature and purposeful side stepping of intelligence community procedures in its use. Now President Obama, Hillary Clinton, John Brennan, James Clapper, James Coby, and others, including their mouthpieces in the met knowingly lied as they repeated the contrived narrative that was created in this January twenty seventeen Intelligence Community assessment with high confidence as though it were fact right. They lied, and the ICA also suppressed intel that showed Russia was actually planning for a Hillary Clinton victory. That's what they thought. What happened, because that's what everybody thought was going to happen. Everyone, well almost everyone. Here's a great idea. Director of National Intelligence Tulsea Gabbard joining the White House Daily Press Briefing, and she is outlining all of the evidence that was compiled in the House Intelligence Committee but then was locked down under a highly classified designation so nobody could get at the information, and she declassified this. It is now public today and she's been laying it out for the press. I'm assuming I think I saw somebody email me that CNN broke away as soon as she started talking about this, which that tells you all you need to know about who's actually trying to inform you of what really occurred. John Brennan, as CIA Director, stated in a memo to his agency staff in December of twenty sixteen, saying, quote, there is strong consensus among us on the scope, nature, and intent of Russian interference in our presidential elected election. Intent is the key. This is reported by NBC News confirming that Brennan, along with James Clapper and James Comey, agreed with the CIA's assessment that Russia intervened to help Trump win the presidency. As Obama's Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper was tasked with overseeing the creation of this assessment in January of twenty seventeen by President Obama, and he expressed confidence in its findings. In a twenty eighteen interview with the Harvard Gazette, he talked about how he provided Trump with the same classified assessment that protestment that President Obama received, which included the high confidence judgment that putin directly ordered the hacking and election interference. Clapper then went on to add, I think they, the Russians, actually influenced the outcome. This is a brief summary of the details that you'll find within the House Majority Staff's report. In their investigation into the Obama directed January twenty seventeen intelligence community assessment that leads us to the very same conclusion that we announced in the release of our documents on Friday. The implications of this are far reaching and have to do with the integrity of our democratic republic. It has to do with an outgoing president taking action to manage manufacture intelligence to undermine and usurp the will of the American people in that election and launch what would be a year's long coup against the incoming president of the United States, Donald Trump. Thank you well, Thank you, Telsey, and we do want to take questions on this topic. While the director has time for this topic, she will leave. I'm happy to take questions on other matters after that, but if anyone has questions for Director Gabbard, you're welcome. I see Annis watching this over on c SPAN two. No, I don't want now to a house oversight subject. Are you serious? Unaccompanied migrant children? Why would you do that to me? C span? Why would you move it to c SPAN two. That's ridiculous, Thanks a lot, c SPAN. Sean says, Oh, this is on the text line. You said everybody thought Hillary was going to win. I bet a guy my one hundred dollars to his five that she was not going to be president. This bet was made when there was still seventeen Republicans running. I said, no matter who they nominate, they will beat her. As it got closer and Trump was the last man standing, I must admit I was a bit worried that I threw away one hundred dollars, but he ended up paying me my five bucks. She was never a very well liked person. The media just made it look like she was. That's from Sean. Well, here's the thing. All of the polling, right, all of the coverage, everything, all the horse race coverage, it was all pointing in that direction. And yeah, like that was a major turning point in the polling industry. It's why I don't rely on poles anymore. Like I'll look at polls just for trend lines. I don't care about individual snapshots. I don't. It is a rare occasion when I will bring a pole to the program and go over a poll, a single poll. Glenn Beck, Actually he had a very good not Actually I like Glenbeck. When I worked in Ashville, we carried Glen Beck and I used to listen to him, and I mean some of the stuff was it was not my cup of tea. But but he does a good job of connecting dots. Anybody who has seen his chalkboard can confirm. But he has a he did a big I think this was from his show yesterday maybe or maybe in this morning. But the Blaze dot com did a synopsis basically of his recapping of this scandal, and he starts off going back to September twelfth, twenty sixteen, in a secure briefing room, a document from the Office of the d and I, the Director of National Intelligence under then President Barack Obama, was circulated among his intelligence team, and the memo stated, quote, foreign adversaries do not have and will probably not obtain the capabilities to successfully execute widespread and undetected cyber attacks on election systems end quote. That was September twelfth, before the election. In other words, Russia was not a threat to the election's outcome. That was from the ODNI. But when thousands of private DNC emails were leaked by hackers, the Clinton campaign and the media blamed Russia. That was despite the fact that the NSA had ranked that claim as quote low confidence that it was the Russians. Then October seventh, twenty sixteen. Now remember this is at a time when Hillary Clinton's campaign had already they had already compiled the Steele dossier, they had paid for it, right, Brennan was shopping this thing around. He was doing that back in April of twenty sixteen. So when there when the DNC email hack came along, they raced out and said it's the Russians. Meanwhile, the NSA was like, uh noil, probably not. Didn't It turn out to be John Podestah getting duped by a phishing scam, like, hey, you got to change your password, and so he gave his password to this you know, phishing scam and that's how they got all of the emails. So that was September. October seventh, twenty sixteen, the DNI and Department of Homeland Security quote jointly state that Russia is directing cyber attacks that contradicted internal memos from the same week that showed key agencies still had serious doubts about any Russian involvement. And then Trump won and panic ensues. A meeting is called on December ninth in the situation room. Everyone is there Clapper, Brennan, Susan Rice, Andrew McCabe, John Kerry, President Obama. This meeting is on the record. Instructions are issued to scrap the post election briefing that had reaffirmed that there was no Russian interference, and then the direction was given per the president's request, that's the direct quote, per the president's request, to rewrite a new draft. And as I said earlier, this was imperative because if that assessment made it into the Presidential Daily Briefing Book, then Trump would have seen it too, because Trump, as president elect now was getting PDBS. So they had to make the one he sees say the thing that they are spreading, say the lie that they are spreading. You know, stories are powerful. Ah yeah maybe uh. Timmy says this is just a dog and pony show. Nobody of note will be charged or arrested. We have gotten to a place in politics where politicians have free reign to openly commit fraud and crimes without any consequences. Not to mention, the CIA and FBI can blatantly break the law. Okay, well, wouldn't this be the steps that you take in order to start charging people with breaking the law. Like that's what I mean. Like, guys, I don't know what it is. Maybe people in you know, in the Republican Party, conservatives, right leaners, like, are you tired of winning? No, it's losing. We're losing. This isn't losing, Like we have to recognize the wins when we get them. I don't know what happens next, and people, you are free to make whatever predictions you want to make. I'm not saying that you need to be optimistic that you know people are going to go to jail. I'm not saying you you should be pessimistic either though, but like, let's just wait and see. This is to me, this is a positive development. This development is positive. This is a good step. I don't know what's going to happen, but I'm not blackpilling myself and saying all is lost already. In fact, after c C Span cut away, apparently a reporter asked Tulsi Gabbard, are you referring former President Barack Obama to the DOJ for criminal implications? And Gabbert said, correct, the evidence we have found and released directly point to President Obama leading the manufacturing of this intelligence assessment. Now, will will the DOJ charge him? I don't know, Like in the past, like we don't charge former presidents. Well, that precedent sort of got blown up a few years ago, folks, So yeah, I think you could probably pursue this sort of thing. Now, what about the Supreme Court ruling this is a president's official act? Would this count as an official act to order this kind of revision? I don't know, But let's run them through the gauntlet because that's the precedent. That's what we're going to be testing. That's why we ended up with a Supreme Court decision on this very idea. Right, good for the goose, good for the gander. Isn't this what people claim they want to see? And to me, I've been warning the left about the slippery slope. You guys keep doing these things. You're not gonna like it when these weapons get turned against you. And here we are, welcome. You have arrived. That is your own petard. I don't know what a petard is. I feel like it's a garment. It's like it's like a variation of the what do they call the leotard. I think it's a yeah, the petard. I think maybe I don't know, So there's that. A reporter asked Gabbard, do you believe President Obama is guilty of treason, because that's what Trump said yesterday, and Gabbard said it on Friday. She called it treason, this behavior. Her response at the White House Press briefing was, quote, when you look at the intent behind creating a fake man manufactured intelligence document, the expressed intent can only be described as a year's long coup and a treason, this conspiracy. Right again, keep in mind, this is what hamstrung Donald Trump's first term. The most you can get done when you're a president, right when you first take when you get elected. The first eighteen months is really when you get the most amount of stuff done, particularly in a first term, because after the eighteen months, then you've got your mid terms. You're out there campaigning for all of these different House and Senate members trying to get them elected or keep them in office. The most active and fruitful period of time you will have is usually in the first year and a half, and then you have your own reelection. After the midterms, that becomes a lot of the focus and you know you got the opposition party not wanting to give you any wins and that sort of thing. And usually presidents lose the House and or the Senate in that first midterm election, and so they crippled his first term. I mean it led to the impeachment over the Ukraine issue because he asked Zelenski, hey, show me what you got on this corruption stuff and the Biden deal or you know when he said, you know, get rid of your prosecutor and what was going on with Obama and all of that, and that got him impeached. The same people that were in the intelligence agencies that were working against Trump for the entirety of his first term. And by the way, the spying, according to Matt Tayibi, the Independent journalist, he says, the spying that we saw in the Trump campaign in twenty fifteen, twenty sixteen, that the referral of charges and the investigation goes all the way through this last election. In other words, it may have resumed or it may have never even stopped. So yes, I want criminal referrals. I want charges to be referred to DOJ and we'll see what happens. All right, that'll do it for this episode. Thank you, so much for listening. I could not do the show without your support and the support of the businesses that advertise on the podcast, so if you'd like, please support them too and tell them you heard it here.
