We are awaiting the press conference from the FBI regarding the arrest of one Brian Cole, thirty years old from a suburb outside of DC in Virginia. He is set to be arraigned in federal court for allegedly planting a bomb out in front of the DNC headquarters and another one at the RNC headquarters on January fifth, in the evening of January fifth, twenty twenty one, right the day before, just a couple hours, you know, before j six. It's a case that when cold there were no new details, nothing happened with it, and now they've made an arrest and from one report and again it came from Kendalanian and NBC News and so anything that that guy reports. I'm always suspicious of or, as the kids would say, sus. He is sus because he's basically a cutout for the Intel agencies. And I don't trust them. So I don't know why they're telling me. Whatever information they're telling me, I don't know if it's to you know, distract me, or to mislead me, or to actually inform me. I just don't know, because I don't trust them. And that's that's become more acute over the last decade, my lack of trust in these agencies. And that's not my fault. That's the people who are in those institutions that have so besmirched themselves. So we were awaiting that news conference. It was supposed to start at one o'clock. It has not yet begun. But when it does begin, we will will will gip it. As they say in the biz, Join in progress. J I pip it. I did get on Twitter. I did get a message from Chris who says, uh, Pete, don't believe a word. Ken Delanian says, I used to listen to Dan Bongino's podcasts, and Dan would disprove anything that Ken said. Right, Yeah, it's uh. People in the uh in in conservative media are we are very aware. I mean, this is one of the things also with the reporting which I was going to start the show off with, but then all of this happened, so I've pivoted. I had to pivot to to the the breaking news coverage here. But the story, the deep dive that I was planning to do, was on the blowing up of the Narco tear is drug smuggling boats and such. And you know, some of the people with bylines in that story at the Wappo, at the Washington Post, they besmirched themselves during the first Trump uh presidency with all of the Russia Russia Russia, the Russia collusion hoax, Russia Gate, whatever you want to call it, the Steele dossier stuff. Natasha Bertrand is one of them. She's got her fingerprints all over this stuff. And so whenever I see these people and these uh, these particular outlets like the Washington Post, I am automatically suspicious of what you're printing because I suspect it's being used for some ulterior purpose. You're not doing this to inform me, You're doing this to advance some agenda. There's an old uh there's an old story out of the Soviet Union where what was it. The story goes something along the lines of, you know, somebody defects or they they they get to America, or they're talking to an American after the fall of the Soviet Union, and one of the things that they were astounded by was how Americans would listen to their media. They would read news stories, they would listen to the news, and they would be like, oh, wow, I can't believe this happened. This is you know, this is what happened. And the Soviets were like or the Russians whenever they were like, oh, we would never watch or listen to news in order to be informed. We would listen to the news to know what our government wants us to think. That's the way they consumed news because it was all state controlled and so there are certain outlets, and the Washington Post is one of them. When I read or see something from the WAPPO, then that's how I filter their stories, that this is what somebody in the elite power structure, this is what they want me to think about a story, which, then, of course, me, being the contrarian that I am, I will say, okay, well, what's another angle on this story. What are they not telling me? Why would they want me to believe this over something else? What's another explanation all of that. So at the end of the last hour, I was playing a clip from a news conference that was held by Democrat Representative Promila Jayapol who introduced legislation that would basically as Breitbart dot com their headline says that it would tangle Ice in red tape. It's to hamstring immigration enforcement officers and the process, and it does a number of things like repeal mandatory detention, prohibit detention of families and children. And I went through like a lot of these things, and it's just like and you can see like they're constructing a mechanism that would slow down the process to such an extent or you know, not allow ICE to detain anybody. And so by de facto it's amnesty. Okay, that's what they want to do. They want to slow everything down. Gum it all up. Now, Will it pass in the House? Not right now? Could it pass if Democrats take control of the House and the Senate? Sure, Trump could veto would but the veto would not be overridden. They would probably not have the votes to do that, but this is what Democrats want to do. She has one hundred and twenty three co sponsors, right, so the Democrat Party is now solidly a party that is advocating for amnesty. They won't call it amnesty because they know that that word has a lot of baggage in a negative sense, so they don't want to say that. But Jayapaul is a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and she is also the ranking member on which means the highest ranking Democrat on the Subcommittee on Immigration, Integrity, Security and Enforcement. Okay, the highest ranking Democrat on that subcommittee. And this is what she he's introducing. She called ICE a terrorist force. That's how she has referred to ICE. And at her press conference yesterday she had mock mood Khalil. Remember this guy, this jerk, right, this is the guy who led the tentifada at Columbia University. They stormed a building, they held hostage a janitor, right, engaged in harassment of Jews on campus. This is got And for all of that behavior, he wasn't even a student at Columbia. And so because he was leading a don't call it an insurrection. But because he was leading this kind of you know, anti democratic mob activity, he was ordered deported. He was picked up, and they put him through to be deported. And then of course the Democrats rally around him because they've never met, you know, an insurrectionist. They don't like except for all Omega and I'm just kidding by that's it's all the insurrection when Maga does it. And so they rally around this guy to the point now where he is there for the rolling out of this legislation. Here's what he said. They are being tarnished in the media while they didn't do anything. No one should be detained for immigration enforcement, no one. There's no need for detention for immigration enforcement. There is no need for detention for immigration enforcement. Okay, So somebody has come into the country illegally. You encounter them somehow, it doesn't matter. You encounter them as you know, a border patrol or ice agent or whatever. Let's say it's at the border somebody. Maybe they're very thin and they squeeze through the slatted wall, right, I'm saying they're very thin, like very very thin. Or maybe they jump really high and they jump way over the wall, or they have a ladder and they climb over the whatever they land in America, and as soon as they land in America, you cannot detain them. That's what he wants to see. That's the immigration policy that this insurrectionist wants to see. This guy who wants to what tear down the institutions of Western society, that's what he is advocating for. So just first off, I would say, like, I'm opposed to anything that anybody would advocate if they are not on board with the Western civilization. So that's just my bias right there. So he's saying we shouldn't detain anybody for immigration. So once you jump over the wall or squeeze through if you're really thin, then you get to stay. You get to stay while quote due process unfolds and you're free to go and we'll catch up with you later someplace. It's a recipe for non enforcement. It's amnesty. This is what they want to do. They just don't want to say it, right. It's kind of like why they keep changing their name from liberal to progressive. It's like they never, oh, don't call me a socialist, but now we can call them a democratic socialist because that's so much better. It's you know, socialist is still right in the name there. Right. You can call yourselves all these different words, but it's always the same philosophy and ideology. Just like this, it's amnesty. That's what they want to do. They want open borders and they want to change the makeup of America so they can get into power and do what they want to do, which is to deconstruct Western civilization. I think I've made that pretty clear. You know, stories are powerful. They help us make sense of things, to understand experiences. Stories connect us to the people of our past while transcending generations. They help us process the meaning of life, and our stories are told through images and videos. Visit creative video dot com. So the President is speaking at a peace deal signing. Who cares about that? So I suspect that the FBI press conference on the arrest of the j six pipe bomber. Suspect they're not going to bigfoot the boss. So they're going to wait till this is over. I suspect we have some time, which now tells me I probably should have just done my other topic to start this hour. But live and learn, Live and learn. I'm merely just trying to trying to work within the schedule of the president. So talking about immigration and went over this bill that the Democrats are pushing for, the Dignity for Detained Immigrants Act, which would repeal mandatory detention. It also creates a bunch of protected classes of people that would have a presumption of release. So one of the categories is there if you are a. If you're an LGBTQ person, then it is just by default you get released, So you could be like an assassin for a cartel. But if you're gay, then the presumption is you get released. I suspect that's yeah. Pregnant women, vulnerable population protected class, pregnant women, which I did see. Yeah, I did see. Somebody mentioned like, hey, wait a minute, pregnant women. There you go, pregnant women. How will we know what that is? We don't even know what a woman is. How can we determine? Okay? Out in California, the Attorney General, Rob Bunta, he did in a press conference he announced a new online platform for residents to report illegal actions by federal officers. And here's what he said. I'm Rob Banta, California Attorney General, and I want to say thanks for being here. We are here to announce a new tool that we are launching today to protect the rights, the safety, the dignity of all Californians throughout the state during a time of profound uncertainty, in a time of profound fear. Today we're launching an online portal where members of the public can report potentially unlawful conduct by federal agents operating in our state, and we encourage Californians who have concerns about the law being broken a federal officer breaking the law to report to us so we can assess information. Over the last ten months, we've seen troubling reports coming from communities across California, including unmarked military style vehicles and individuals detained in ways that resemble abductions and kidnappings more than lawful arrests. Californians are scared and their right to question whether federal agents are respecting the law as they carry out the Trump administration's aggressive, fear driven immigration agenda. Our job at the California Department. Of Justice is simple to safeguard the rights of everyone who calls this state home, no matter their background, their status, or their zip code. No so illegals. Right. So, by the way, I'm not sure, but I feel like you could probably have saved a bunch of money if you had just like rebranded your COVID snitch hotline, right, if you had just just you know, take the same numbers, just call it something else, Because I don't know if anybody is still using that snitch line, but you could use that bunt does announcement came after this is by the way, the San Francisco Chronicle bunt does announcement came after President Donald Trump threatened prosecution and even execution against House Democrats who urged military officers to disobey illegal orders. Okay, what does that have to do with this story? What does what does the video and I'm going to get to this, what does that have to do with this? And by the way, you know a word that you could use to describe what the Democrats are doing, that what their strategy is here. It all falls under one one heading, which is nullification. That's what we're seeing. This is nullification. The media is either ignorant of this term or they are ignoring the term, and honestly, I think it's the former. I think they are ignorant of the concept of nullification. I am aware of it. I've been talking about nullification for various things for years because this is a you know, this theory and it was tested the Civil War. Who was you know, one such test. We've talked about it in regards to the fourth turningllification crisis that would probably prompt the fourth turning the season in civilizational seasons, and it's the crisis season and the guys who came up with this theory thirty years ago, the one who's still alive, he predicted it would be about immigration. The nullification crisis would be about immigration. Now. At the time he made that prediction, he said he was looking at what Texas was doing and trying to secure the borders when they were putting up the razor wire and barbed wire in the river to try to stop people from coming across the country because the federal government was basically nullifying itself, right, So the state of Texas said, well, we'll do this enforcement and the FED said, no, you can't. That's our job, and we refuse to do it. Now it's inverted, and that's I think even more dangerous because now you've got the FED saying we're enforcing law, and the states are saying we refuse to help you, or in this case, we're going to actively impede you, and that that's kind of insurrectioning. Here's a great idea. How about making an escape to a really special and secluded getaway in western North Carolina. Just a quick drive up the mountain and cabins of Asheville is your connection. Call or text eight two eight, three six seven seventy sixty eight or check out all there is to offer at Cabins Offashville dot com and make memories that'll last a lifetime. San Francisco Chronicle chronicling the California Attorney General Rob Bunta unveiling a new tool, as he calls it, to report law breaking by federal agents, right, which obviously this portal will not be used for anything other than, you know, legitimate reports of law breaking by federal officials. Obviously, surely people aren't going to you know, spam it with fake reports. Obviously people aren't going to be spamming it with just mere concerns or hey, I think I saw ice drive past that kind of stuff. But part of this is in my estimation, and I'm not in California, although I did visit there one time a long time ago. But I suspect a lot of this is to to placate the base. Right, Democrats have to do this sort of thing because this is what their base demands of them, and it's under the category of nullification. And look, Democrats have a rich history of attempting to nullify federal law. Right. And you can go back to oh, I don't know, Secession, where they were like, we're not gonna listen to any of your federal laws. You can go back. You don't have to even go that far back. You can go back to where they were like, we're not integrating these schools, right, you could do that. So they Democrats do get a little bit insurrection y when it comes to federal laws that they don't want to follow, particularly when it comes to an indentured servant class, you know, when they're trying to protect some cheap labor that they are enjoying. They get very insurrection y about this sort of thing, and so they try to nullify law. And so that's what they are doing all of these efforts. Yes, it's to placate the base. And whether or not they are aware of it, the people who are advocating this stuff and the people who are antagonizing ICE agents and those who are encouraging people to go out there and antagonize ICE agents and border patrol agents, what they are doing is they are participating in a campaign of nullification. And that is going to create a crisis because you will have federal agents and the administration right the federal government level, and then you're going to have state and local government level officers and politicians, and there will be no off ramp to the escalation because they're both asserting some sort of authority. And if the state is saying we don't recognize your authority federal government, the federal government is going to say, we'll make you recognize it. And that's how you end up with violence, government violence, government on government violence. Now, I don't know if they've thought this through. Maybe there are people that want to see it so they can then, you know, usher in some new form of governance after the fact. Oh hey, well, wait a minute, it's soon, we have the press conference. Let's go ahead and join that in progress. Here's Pam bonding. In our nation's capital. Undermined the public trust of our enforcement agencies. This cold case languished for four years until Director Patel and Deputy Director Bongino came to the FBI. The FBI, along with US Attorney Pierro and all of our prosecutors, have worked tirelessly for months sifting through evidence that had been sitting at the FBI with the Biden administration for four long years. Let me be clear, there was no new tip, there was no new witness, just good, diligent police work and prosecutorial work working as a team along with atf Capitol Police, Metropolitan Police Department, and of course the FBI. We are working every day to restore the public's trust. We hope that today is a significant step towards that progress. We'll share more information when we can and when it unfolds. I cannot stress enough how hard Director Patel and Deputy Director Bongino have worked for months to make our nation's capital safer and to make our country safer. I'd like to introduce now Director Patel. Thank you. General. When you attack American citizens, when you attack our institutions of legislation, when you attack our nation's capital, you attack the very being of our way of life. In this FBI and this Department of Justice stand here to tell you that we will always refute it and combat it. We will provide the safest country the nation has ever seen under President Trump's leadership here and that's what we did here today with great result. On a case of massive public importance, as it should be. An individual who's now alleged to have placed multiple explosive devices to blow up multiple people at multiple officials, innocent civilians, is now arrested thanks to the brave men and women of the FBI and the inner Agency. I want to take a moment to thank the Metropolitan Police Department, the United States Capitol Police, our brave prosecutors, the Department of Justice, and our leader, Attorney General Pambondi and US Attorney Jeanine Piro, whose relentless work on this case made this possible. As the Attorney General said, we did not discover any new information. What we did an investigation spearheaded by the Deputy Director and the adic of our Washington Field office, brought in a new team of investigators and experts, re examined every piece of evidence, sifted through all the data, something that the prior administration refused and failed to do. As a result of that, we generated numerous investigative leads, executed multiple legal process with their US attorney partners, and came to this conclusion today. And that is why we were able to safely secure this individual into custody. Remember, we were dealing with an individual who was alleged to have made bombs. We cannot do this sort of takedown in haste because it endangers the lives of law enforcement, and this FBI will never allow the lives of law enforcement and our prosecutors to be put in jeopardy. This execution was flawless in terms of teamwork, resilience, and just a good old fashioned way of police getting the job done. When you let. Good cops be cops, this is what happens. I'm eternally grateful to the team behind me, to the leadership at the FBI who made this possible. But I do want to highlight when I introduced the deputy, he made this case in so many others, including summer heat, his priority to come in here and solve it for the American people, And today I'm proud to stay in here before you and say we solved it. He will have his day in court, the American public and the world will learn even more information through the legal process. As we have committed under this Attorney General, we are the most transparent law enforcement opera US history. But we are also going to make sure accountability is delivered to its fullest extent, and that happens in the courts of law with our US attorneys and our prosecutors. So we will divulge information when it is prudent and constitutionally permissible, while upholding the safeguards of this case to make sure that the people that this individual intended to victimize get the accountability to deserve and most importantly, to deliver in President Trump's promise to secure our nation's capital and the rest of the cities in this country, to make sure that Americans are allowed to go out free and securely in their neighborhoods, and that people around the world are allowed to visit our nation's capital. And they now have that trust thanks to the leadership of the FBI, the Washington Field Office, and I'm honored now to introduce to you Deputy Director bon Gino, who spearheaded this investigation. Thanks. Thank you all for being here for this critical investigation We've been working on for a very long time. We deeply appreciate it. Thank you for the kind words, Journey General, I appreciate it. Folks. This is what it's like when you work for a president who tells you to go get the bad guys and stop focusing on other extraneous things and not related to law enforcement. This is what happens. We had a great team. I know it's said a lot in this business. It was a team effort. Becomes cliche, but cliches are useful for a reason because they matter. And this was a team effort. The director and the Attorney General emphasized that it was not a new public tip. This came from This was our internal work at the FBI, and I want to just really express my since. Well, all right, so that well, they lost the feed on Fox News. I'm not sure if they've lost it on the NBA. It looks like the NBC feed is still going. They better give us some details. If this is all it's going to be. Let me see if I can pull up c Span here. If it's just going to be them saying, hey, we did a good job. Thanks everybody for doing such a good job. That's I don't think people are going to be satisfied with that. I mean, I'm not going to be very satisfied with that. Let's see here Live Today. No, that's not it. No, I don't see why would Seespan not be carrying this thing. No, here we go. Let's see if this will pull up for me. Uh, someone demands with a gift. You're not getting a free yet on our airwaves. I don't know. All right, skip ad, let's see we're backs. Of devices and walk off in the sunset. Not gonna happen. We were going to track this person to the end of the earth. There was no way he was getting away. Well, we didn't have to track him to the end of the earth. Wound up in Woodbridge, Woodbridge, Virginia. I want to thank the team. They were amazing. They never let this go again. Attorney General BONDI for your incredible support, Director Patel Judge. I know they're giving me a lot of unnecessary credit, but make no mistake, they were intimately involved in this and we're there for all of those supportive mechanisms, and I deeply appreciate it. The man whose team did the work is the Assistant director in charge of our Washington Field office, Darren Cox. Darren's got some comments and Darren has some more details on the case he can provide. So thank you all for coming. We appreciate it. Hi, good afternoon. I'm Darren Cox. I'm the assistant director in charge of the Washington Field Office. Today's arrest of the alleged DC pipe bomber is a momentous day for the American public, for the FBI, for our Joint Terrorism Task Force or the JTTF, and our partners, the US Capitol Police, Metropolitan Police Department, and ATF. We've also had a large number of other federal, state, and local departments that have worked on this investigation, and last but not least, the US Attorney's Office. We all worked hand in hand this investigation. Give us some details. It has been a long week in DC after the terrorist attack last week. The grit and determination of the FBI and our law enforcement partners is an example to the American public of what cooperation, partnership and selfless service. So, by the way, the networks have already bailed out efforts, this is just terrible partners, This is terrible press conference plan. Just as a format, the pipe bomber cannot be overstated. It is the resolve and determination of our investigators that ultimately led to the identification and the arrest of this suspect. We all know pipe bombs are dangerous, not because of the potential loss of life, life, damaged property, or injury that they can cause, but also because they are tools that terrorize our community. Fortunately, these bombs did not explode, although they certainly could have. But make no mistake, the alleged pipe bomber did terrorize our community. Today's actions underscore the long memory and the long reach of the FBI and our partners. I know some people had given up on finding the perpetrator, but not the FBI and not our partners. We do not forget, We do not give up, and we do not relent. Though it had been nearly five years, our team continued to churn through massive amounts of data and tips that we used to identify this suspect. I want to thank Director Patel and Deputy Director Bongino for their leadership and for barbiding us the resources and the personnel to reevaluate all of the data. That we had. We dove into more than three million lines of data to come up with this suspect. Director Patel, Deputy Director Bongino, thank you for your support, thank you for your passion, and thank you for your investment in this investigation. From me on behalf of the investigators, the Washington Field Office, and all of our partners, thank you. I'd also like to thank Judge Piro. Oh my goshde your team. We're going to spend twenty minutes in this press conference and you're not going to give us any details. Executors and US attorneys nothing. US attorney that all of the investigators across the country want to work with. They're hard nos and they're aggressive, and thank you for that. I'd also like to thank the publish the American public for providing tips and leads, not just on this case, but every day on cases across the country that are being. Solved by law enforcement. Oh my gosh, guys. And finally, I want to command all of the members of the Watch. Bring it down, all right. Finally, So all it is is thanks for everybody's hard work and no information. Why why would you do this? This is like the Epstein file thing with the influencers walking out of the White House. Oh, we got all this information and then nothing new was in there? Why do you do this? You're gonna get dragged all right. If you're listening to this show, you know I try to keep up with all sorts of current events, and I know you do too, And you've probably heard me say get your news from multiple sources. They keep bringing different people up there talking about how they all work together. It is a tough case. Found a needle in a haystack. The most information we got was that there were millions of data points and that the FBI had to connect the purchase of the pipes, the end caps on the pipe, the wires, the nine volt batteries. They like sift it through all of this data in order to make these connections. That's the extent of the information that we have gotten from this press conference. That it's been going on for like almost half an hour. Now, yeah, it's like a seven h four number on the text line says it sounds like a Grammy Award acceptance speech. Yeah, so they don't play the music to say get off the stage. All right. That'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening.
