This episode is presented by Carolina Readiness Supply – Actress Angie Harmon says a delivery driver from Instacart shot her dog at her house while she and her daughters were home at the time. In an Instagram post, Harmon said the driver claimed self-defense so avoided charges by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police. Plus, author JK Rowling explicitly dares Scottish police to arrest her over anti-speech law.

[00:00:23] every episode for free, write your smartphone or tablet, and again thank you so much for
[00:00:27] your support. This is a bizarre story, terrible bizarre story. This is another one of those
[00:00:35] things which oh by the way remember yesterday when I said about the 17 year old who was
[00:00:41] shot at the Jack in the box after he got off work and he was hanging out and two guys walk
[00:00:47] in wearing masks and they start arguing and then he that one of them shoots and kills
[00:00:51] the kid the 17 year old. I said we're missing something there's a piece of information
[00:00:55] and now I heard today they did know each other. So okay, that right because otherwise that does
[00:01:04] not make it doesn't make sense. They they went in there and they shot and killed this kid and then
[00:01:09] fled. They never robbed anybody that didn't do anything else. You know, that was just weird.
[00:01:13] This is another story. I feel like there's more to this. I don't know what?
[00:01:20] But I feel like there's more to this. And I heard Brandon Dixon's top of the hour newscast
[00:01:26] there where he mentioned this story as well. The actor which you say or well, I don't know,
[00:01:33] Charlotte observer identified her as an actress and I think that you don't say that anymore.
[00:01:39] I don't believe we use actor actress. I believe everybody everybody's an actor now.
[00:01:44] So anyway, Angie Harmon. She's an actress actor and a model. I don't know is she still married
[00:01:56] to Jason Seahorn? You remember, I think she was the one I think she married Jason Seahorn,
[00:02:01] the former New York Giants wide receiver I want to say. But she is known as this actor,
[00:02:08] you know, famous actress, Rizoli and Isles. I've never watched the show. I don't know which one she
[00:02:14] is. Is she the Rizoli or is she the Isles? I don't know. But I do remember her from one order.
[00:02:21] She played one of the assistant DAs. She posted on Instagram yesterday that her family dog
[00:02:29] was shot and killed by an Instacart driver over the weekend. So Instacart is I don't use any of these
[00:02:41] apps. I do not trust people to deliver food to me like this, which is weird because I'll trust
[00:02:48] like a pizza delivery guy. But even now, not so much. I just go and get them now. Actually,
[00:02:53] I don't even eat pizza anymore. So yeah, I don't, yeah, but that's weird. It's weird. I
[00:02:59] don't feel comfortable getting like a burger and fries and a soft drink delivered to me by
[00:03:05] like a door dash company. I don't trust them. I don't trust them, you know, that they're not going
[00:03:11] to eat my fries. They're not going to take a sip out of my soda. I just don't trust them.
[00:03:16] So and it's not like, well, okay, yes. I have seen some videos. So this distrust is not
[00:03:22] unfounded, okay? But I just like I would just not rather, you know, plus I don't eat fast food
[00:03:30] anymore. So it's not a problem for me. But if I did eat fast food still, this would be a fear of
[00:03:37] mine is that I don't trust the people eating my food, not to eat my food, whatever on the way to
[00:03:42] drop it off at my house, especially if they recognize my name. You know? But this,
[00:03:51] this Instacart, is this like groceries? Is that what Instacart is? Is it a grocery delivery kind of
[00:03:57] a an app it is? Okay. Once again, I don't trust people to do this food shopping for me either.
[00:04:05] Not because they're going to come to my house and shoot my dog, but they're not,
[00:04:11] they're not invested in the highest quality produce. You know? Like when I go to pick out tomatoes,
[00:04:21] vegetables, mushrooms, whatever if I'm going and I'm picking out my veggies,
[00:04:26] I am going to pay particular attention to their quality versus somebody else who doesn't care
[00:04:35] because they're not going to be eating it. And that's how you end up with this, you know,
[00:04:38] with the ugliest look in vegetables that are kind of spoiling already and that kind of stuff.
[00:04:44] Like I don't, yeah, I don't trust you to be picking out my produce. Maybe you could do it for
[00:04:49] like the non perishable pantry items, I guess? I don't know. I just, I don't do it. Not even during
[00:04:54] COVID did we do this? I suffered through it. You know how much I do not like shopping just in general,
[00:05:01] but I suffered through the one-way walk aisles. Right? Remember those, remember that stupidity
[00:05:08] because COVID would know if you passed each other, you know? But then of course you get stuck behind
[00:05:14] somebody who's clogging up the whole lane. Anyway, yeah, I still have PTSD about all of that.
[00:05:21] Anyway, this, this Instacart driver who has not been identified shows up at Angie Harmon's house
[00:05:32] and murders their dog, shoots their dog, kills it. And here's the big question for me,
[00:05:39] still outstanding on this story which like doesn't make sense. She and her kids were there.
[00:05:47] So if the Instacart driver is claiming that the dog attacked him,
[00:05:56] you've got witnesses. What are they saying? Now in the Instagram post that Angie Harmon made,
[00:06:05] she doesn't say that the dog attacked him. In fact, quite the opposite.
[00:06:11] And honestly, there was another dog that was there that did not attack. That other dog did not
[00:06:19] get shot and killed. So what did this one dog do? That the other one did not because if the one
[00:06:26] dog is attacking, I don't know if you've been around dogs that attack. It's kind of this weird
[00:06:32] dynamic that occurs where they it's almost like they behave like a like a pack animal.
[00:06:37] I don't know if you're aware. Yeah, but that's like the tension start flaring and the dogs just
[00:06:43] all kind of go nuts. So I'm unclear as to why one dog would attack and the other one did not.
[00:06:51] Also, I'm unclear as to why you don't have any injuries. Why does the driver not present any
[00:06:57] injuries or torn clothing or any actual sign that the dog attacked you? And maybe there were signs
[00:07:07] I don't know. Haven't seen it reported haven't seen anything that would indicate that in fact,
[00:07:14] once again, quite the opposite. Harmon's post went on to say that the driver saw that the
[00:07:21] Holmes ring camera so they've got the doorbell camera ring, I guess is yeah ring and that it was
[00:07:30] charging so it was taken off of the exterior of the door and it was inside and it was plugged in
[00:07:36] and it was charging. And so Angie Harmon says that the driver knew he was not being recorded.
[00:07:45] She said police investigated but let him go because the driver claimed it was self-defense.
[00:07:54] She says that he got out of his car delivered the food and then shot our dog Oliver.
[00:08:00] The delivery driver this is according to the Charlotte Observer report,
[00:08:03] the delivery driver told officers that a dog attacked him while he was at the residence
[00:08:08] and that he defended himself by firing a single gunshot striking and mortally wounding the dog.
[00:08:15] Another dog was present at the residence but did not attack in a statement to WBTV. Instacard said,
[00:08:23] quote we were deeply saddened and disturbed to hear about this incident. We have no tolerance for
[00:08:29] violence of any kind and the shopper account was immediately suspended from our platform.
[00:08:36] So the driver this Instacard person was immediately suspended.
[00:08:42] We have been in direct contact with the customer and are cooperating with law enforcement on
[00:08:47] their investigation. Now I came across another detail about this story. I don't know if it's important
[00:08:54] but it is not mentioned in the Charlotte Observer story.
[00:09:00] The shopper was using a female identity. The Instacard driver, shopper, whatever you call him,
[00:09:07] the Instacard employee was using a female identity on the app. So Angie Harmon
[00:09:15] booked this Instacard person thinking it was a woman and it turned out to be a man.
[00:09:22] That sounds like a problem.
[00:09:26] So you know what I mean? That sounds like it might be a problem.
[00:09:28] Who is this person? Why are they giving... maybe it was a mistake? Maybe they...
[00:09:34] Whatever, maybe they knew that if it's a female doing the shopping,
[00:09:37] they get better tips or something or they get more business, more activity. I don't know.
[00:09:44] That's one of the questions I have. Why did they have a different
[00:09:49] sex listed on their profile?
[00:09:53] And why would Instacard allow that to occur? How do they allow that to occur? What are the systems
[00:09:59] there in place or is this like, oh, well, what are they identifying as we just have to go along with it?
[00:10:03] Is this person... did the person use this in order to victimize people? I don't know.
[00:10:10] There are a lot of questions. Chazzy Doodle says in a tweet, says,
[00:10:14] it doesn't matter what rank you give Pam Warner. Either way, she is a maze-ing. I'll see myself at
[00:10:24] that's a corn pun right there for you. Got another message here. Oh, I wonder why the
[00:10:34] hormones are not pressing charges against this driver that shot their dog in their house?
[00:10:40] It's up to the... He says, I was burglarized, a gun was stolen. It was up to me to press charges or not.
[00:10:50] Yeah, I don't know. I mean, the dog is their property. He's on their property. But if there's
[00:10:54] a self-defense claim, I don't know. Do you go after him civilly? You can go for civil liability.
[00:11:00] Here's the other thing. Had she been armed at that time? She could have shot and killed him.
[00:11:10] See, that's the thing you don't ever know. When you pull out that gun and you're like, oh,
[00:11:13] I'm going to shoot this dog. Even if... And I've seen pictures and video of the dog,
[00:11:21] it's not a big dog. Now, that doesn't mean it's not scary. If it's barking at you or running
[00:11:28] at you or whatever, I have been attacked by a dog when I was a kid. It wasn't a very big dog and
[00:11:33] it was pretty scary. I ran my bike into a tree and he ran away. But there were signs of it. He got
[00:11:40] a hold of the cuff of my jeans, right at my ankle. And he bit through the ankle of the jeans.
[00:11:49] So... Like, I understand that but I'm just trying to figure out how your first instinct is to
[00:12:02] whip out the firearm and shoot the dog while you're in somebody's home. You know? That's what I mean.
[00:12:10] The story... It's just kind of bizarre.
[00:12:18] Angie Harmon says that he did not have a scratch or a bite on him, nor were his pants torn.
[00:12:25] So, that tells me she doesn't believe that he was being attacked. That's what it sounds like.
[00:12:29] Let me get Stan on here before the news. Hello, Stan. Welcome to the show.
[00:12:33] How are you doing today, Pete? Hey, I'm good. What's up? Yeah, I met up somebody recently and they were
[00:12:38] from Chicago have been their all their life and due to kids moving away in a family tragedy.
[00:12:44] They moved from Chicago and they picked out Asheville to relocate too. Yeah.
[00:12:50] They've been there about two years when I met them talk to them. And this person told me that
[00:12:58] what you see, what she lived was okay and Asheville was conservative about her. She says but if
[00:13:02] you get too close to downtown it changes and she goes I've never been anywhere where
[00:13:08] it's their way or the highway and you aren't allowed to have an opinion different from theirs.
[00:13:13] Wait, but you said she came from Chicago? She came from Chicago. I've never experienced that before.
[00:13:18] She tells me Chicago my whole life so I'd never leave because I've got to say I've never seen
[00:13:22] anything like downtown Asheville. Not even in Chicago. Well, that's interesting. I thought you'd find
[00:13:27] that interesting. Yeah, well, I do find downtown Asheville very interesting. That is true. Stan,
[00:13:31] I appreciate the call. It is its own ecosystem there. It truly is.

[00:14:54] and is used under license. A couple quick messages here on the the Instacar driver that shot and
[00:15:02] killed the dog owned by actress Angie Harmon in Charlotte. Why not pepper spray or an air horn?
[00:15:14] Why is he a driver for Instacart? These are good questions. These are good questions.
[00:15:25] One of the other pieces of information again that was not in the Charlotte Observer report
[00:15:29] was that on the app Angie Harmon claims that this driver was identified as a female named
[00:15:38] Merle. Don't have any idea what it means I'm just putting it out there. I don't know if it's
[00:15:45] important or not but that does lead me to JK Rowling who is has walked into the fight
[00:15:56] the cultural arena here. She's been in it for a while but this she has taken it to another level
[00:16:04] now with the defense of for example women only spaces right. She is not on board with the denial
[00:16:13] of reality and truth and she in light of Scotland adopting a new law that took effect yesterday
[00:16:23] she has intentionally broken the law in order to get charged to have the fight.
[00:16:40] Yeah, this was a read up right up rather by the what is this? The heretical liberal who says it
[00:16:47] is hard to overstate how important and strategically brilliant JK Rowling's power move was a first move
[00:16:55] checkmate that effectively neutered Scotland's dangerous new hate crime bill by openly and unambiguously
[00:17:04] breaking this law on a massive public platform on its very first day. She has an effect nullified the
[00:17:12] law by forcing the authorities in Scotland into a corner where they only have two options here both
[00:17:18] of which will be the laws downfall. Number one, they could enforce it right. They could enforce it
[00:17:28] they could go and arrest JK Rowling right creating the world's greatest strison effect you know what that
[00:17:35] is the strison effect. Barbara strison like there was like some meteor you know like a tabulate or
[00:17:42] whatever they took pictures or something of her house I want to say or something they did something
[00:17:47] with her house I forget it's been years and nobody saw it nobody cared nobody knew anything about
[00:17:52] it but then she made this big deal about it and that then attracted all the attention and if she
[00:17:59] had not mentioned it right nobody would have known about it but the fact that she made it a big
[00:18:04] deal it became a big deal and so this is called the strison effect and so her arrest and trial
[00:18:11] would be in many ways the biggest media event in years and give the deep pocketed JK Rowling the
[00:18:18] world's biggest stage with which to our to put transgenderism on trial. Anybody regularly involved
[00:18:27] in this debate knows the massive enormous flaws in the logic that underpins gender ideology and
[00:18:34] instinctively understands that a trial of this magnitude would be a death blow for this law in
[00:18:41] particular and gender ideology in general personally although I don't know what's going on inside
[00:18:49] Rowling's head I suspect this route is her preferred option I agree with them I agree with them
[00:18:55] I think she wants this fight I think she is picking the fight because she has to and she has
[00:19:01] the means to do so and she recognizes that very few people are in her position to do so
[00:19:10] the other option is that they don't enforce the law against her right so they and then that would
[00:19:16] prove that they don't want to charge somebody in such a high profile venue right it would galvanize
[00:19:25] public support against the law and so you would have this sort of elephant in the room of having
[00:19:32] such a massive public personality so openly breaking the law without any consequences that it
[00:19:37] effectively renders the law null and void for anybody charged with it who isn't JK Rowling
[00:19:44] to tear system right
[00:19:46] right
[00:19:48] in a series of social media posts JK Rowling described several transgender women as men
[00:19:56] including convicted prisoners trans activists and other public figures I've got the thread here she
[00:20:03] posted um
[00:20:06] mm-hmm
[00:20:08] Scotland's is what she says Scotland's hate crime act comes into effect today women gain no
[00:20:15] additional protections of course but well-known trans activists Beth Douglas darling of prominent
[00:20:20] Scottish politicians falls within a protected category pew and then she's got posts here screenshots
[00:20:28] of this activist holding knives and acts and essentially communicating threats to JK Rowling
[00:20:37] and others uh then she's got lovely Scottish lass and convicted double rapist
[00:20:43] isla bryson found her true authentic female self shortly before she was due to be sentenced
[00:20:49] misgendering is hate so respect isla's pronouns please
[00:20:55] um
[00:20:57] and the dude is wearing leggings and
[00:21:02] yeah
[00:21:04] not a lot left to the imagination there let's just say that um here's another one uh fragile flower
[00:21:11] Katie doletowski six foot five was rightly sent to a women's prison in Scotland after conviction
[00:21:16] this insured she was protected from violent predatory men unlike the 10-year-old girl that Katie
[00:21:21] sexually assaulted in a women's public bathroom and it goes on so these are all these different people
[00:21:28] that she's highlighting and she's doing it with this whole like oh you respect their pronouns
[00:21:32] oh this woman and butcher Amy George abducted an 11-year-old girl right um this here's another one
[00:21:39] soccer player um uh there's an ahead of the Scottish rape crisis center um
[00:21:47] these are all trans men to women
[00:21:51] and so finally she concludes at the very end of this she says
[00:21:54] April fools only kidding obviously the people mentioned in the above tweets are not women at all
[00:22:01] but men every last one of them in passing the Scottish hate crime act Scottish lawmakers
[00:22:07] seem to have placed higher value on the feelings of men performing their idea of femaleness
[00:22:14] however misogynistically or opportunistically then on the rights and freedoms of actual women
[00:22:19] and girls the new legislation is wide open to abuse by activists who wish to silence those of us
[00:22:26] speaking out about the dangers of eliminating women's and girls single sex spaces the nonsense made
[00:22:34] of crime data if violent and sexual assaults committed by men are recorded as female crimes
[00:22:39] the grotesque on think think about that too right your data collection now is all messed up
[00:22:45] because all you gotta do is say oh no I'm a woman so now that's a woman on woman rape
[00:22:51] right that's where to believe um the grotesque unfairness of allowing males to compete in female sports
[00:22:57] the injustice of women's jobs honors and opportunities being taken by trans identified men
[00:23:03] and the reality and immutability of biological sex she goes on to say uh it is impossible to
[00:23:11] accurately describe or tackle the reality of violence and sexual violence committed against women
[00:23:16] and girls or address the current assault on women's and girls rights unless we are allowed
[00:23:21] to call a man a man freedom of speech and belief are at an end in Scotland if the accurate description
[00:23:31] of biological sex is deemed criminal she says I'm currently out of the country
[00:23:38] but if what I have written here qualifies as an offense under the terms of the new act
[00:23:43] I look forward to being arrested when I return to the birthplace of the Scottish enlightenment
[00:23:51] she's asking to be arrested right she is walking towards this fight
[00:23:56] and I am here for it I totally support her and I hope other people do too
[00:24:05] okay if you're listening to this podcast you are obviously paying attention to the world around us

[00:24:50] as educational materials that you're going to need for any kind of emergency veteran owned
[00:24:54] Carolina readiness supply will you be ready when the lights go out jk rallying author of the Harry
[00:25:01] Potter series she lives in Edenberg um she has explicitly invited police to arrest her
[00:25:13] if they believe she has committed an offense by calling these trans activists and criminals
[00:25:22] the like ten of them or whatever in this series of tweets she identified them you know here's
[00:25:27] this guy dressed as a girl raped a woman in prison and then says these are men
[00:25:33] and their new law took effect yesterday on yeah the first and she is daring police
[00:25:45] to arrest her for misgendering transgender people after a new hate crime law took effect
[00:25:52] she said freedom of speech and belief are at an end in Scotland if the accurate description
[00:25:56] of biological sex is deemed criminal Scotland's community safety minister
[00:26:05] sibian brown i think i don't know they got weird names over in scottland um told the telegraph the
[00:26:15] uk telegraph that rowlings remarks could be reported to police and investigated quote whether or
[00:26:22] not the police would think it was criminal is up to police scottland for that
[00:26:29] that's why she's doing it scottland a country of about five point forty five million people
[00:26:35] is part of the united kingdom but has its own laws and police force rowling was born in
[00:26:40] england but has called scottland home for most of her life she has become politically active there
[00:26:45] over the years she is not alone in her criticism according to the uh
[00:26:51] new york post bbc reports that miss rowling who has long been a critic of some trans activism
[00:27:01] raised concerns that the law did not protect women as a group from hatred
[00:27:05] the scottish government is expected to include this later in a separate misogyny law see so
[00:27:11] oh no we're gonna come back to that we're gonna like circle back like genpasacchi would
[00:27:15] we're gonna circle back and we're gonna do uh an anti misogyny law where we will totally be able
[00:27:21] to you know spell out the difference between a man and a woman even though we we can't figure it out
[00:27:29] you know these other laws we're going to separate this out so anti misogyny laws but that's not
[00:27:35] going to for example prohibit men from going into female spaces
[00:27:40] the maximum penalty under this new law jail for seven years a person commits an offense if they
[00:27:53] communicate material or behave in a manner quote that a reasonable person would consider to be
[00:28:01] threatening or abusive right so at first it's like oh threatening okay well yeah you shouldn't
[00:28:07] be able to threaten people that there should be a punishment for that you shouldn't be able to
[00:28:10] just go around threatening people but oh but abusive well what does that mean
[00:28:19] does that mean if i say something that you don't like that now i've somehow made you feel unsafe
[00:28:25] that now i've abused you somehow i'm the oppressor you're the oppressed
[00:28:29] there is an intention also they say of uh you gotta do it with the intention of stirring up hatred
[00:28:40] based on protected characteristics
[00:28:44] stirring up hatred based on race sexual orientation and religion was already illegal in great
[00:28:49] Britain under the public order act of nineteen eighty six but that will also now fall under the new
[00:28:54] act in Scotland the bar for this offense is lower than for the other protected characteristics
[00:29:00] as it also includes insulting behavior that's it so now if you just insult somebody which JK Rowling
[00:29:10] has clearly done right she has insulted and depending on you know the hurt feelings of the targets
[00:29:18] of these tweets they could also say that she has been abusive to them and they could say that
[00:29:24] you know they're trying to get them she's trying to get them harmed it's abusive and it could
[00:29:30] even be stirring up violence against them so she has broken this law now let's see Scotland
[00:29:36] enforce it against her this is where we are well it's for Scotland is all right that'll do it for
