So, in a related story to the data center hysteria and the opposition campaigns being waged by the ohso organic communist funded grassroots groups, did you happen to catch the massive report that was put out by the US State Department. I believe this would have been yesterday or maybe the day before on Cuba, the little island ninety miles off the coast of Florida down there, you know, famed location of the missile crisis. Yes, the US State Department put out a nearly one hundred page report on the threat that Cuba represents to US interests and the safety of its people. They called Cuba the quote capital of twenty first century communism. The agency. This is from Noah Rothman at National Review. The agency might as well have labeled communist Cuba the epicenter of third worldism. Third worldism. I've talked about this concept. This is Franz Finonne, right, the Algerian revolutionary Marxist guy who really birthed this thing. Third worldism is the violent revolution to overthrow the West, and third world is sort of the like, you know, America was the first World, the Soviet Union was the second, and then you had these other nations that were, you know, third world. We're not, you know, like we were. We were colonies and then we got our independence, and we don't want to be either part of either of these two spheres of influence. And when you have nations that throw off colonial powers, they're like, oh, well, those are capitalists. We talked about this a couple of weeks ago regarding so many of the African nations when they won their independence, and they were like, well, you know, if we were colonized and run by you know, France and Belgium and whatnot, and they're like, let's get rid of those colonizers. As they all pulled back from running their colonies and such, then well that's the West. So we're obviously opposed to that, so let's go socialist. And then all of these nations fell into poverty, right, they couldn't function. They went from producers of food to net importers of. Food, that sort of stuff. Because that's what socialism, Marxism, that's what Marxism gives you. In every case, that's what Marxism gives you, poverty, murder, right, destitution, lying as a way of life, because never trust a commune. Because rule number one on communists is that communists lie right all the time about everything. Mentioned this yesterday with regard to the Polish words that they actually developed to describe these very things. When you live in a society where lying is survival, you have to lie about everything all the time. So the report alleges the modern manifestations of that ideology are as menacing for the United States as Marxism Leninism. Ever, was Cuban the Third world ism, Cuban communism. The report contends with all requisite evidence that Cuban communism long ago departed from the Soviet model. And I've read through this and they document this in the report. They talk about how they weren't like Castro himself, never came out and said that he was a kami until like two or three years. I think the report said after he had won his power, right after he had overthrown the government, taken control. In all of that, and the Soviets weren't even really too clear on how committed he was to their version Marxist Leninism right, their version of communism. They were all about the worker right work, the class warfare and all of that. He was more. About tearing down the West. The revolutionary leftism that Havana promotes is less focused on fomenting economic class conflict and more committed to exacerbating racial, social, and even civilizational grievances. It seeks to mobilize not the disaffected international proletariat, but the quote colonized nations and peoples of the Global South. The Global South, that's the new word that you're supposed to like, you know, they changed, like the term the Dark Ages. You're not allowed to call it that anymore, did you know that. I think I forgot. They call it the medieval period or something. I forget what they call it now, But you're not allowed to say Dark Ages for some reason. Same thing here with the Global South. These used to be called third world nations impoverished countries, right, but no, no, no, can't call them that, So. We call them the globals out the report. So this is what the Castro version, the Cuban version of Marxism, focused on. To heighten the tensions that are racial, social, civilizational, right, all of these grievances. That's how you pit people against each other rather than economic class warfare. The report quotes the far left magazine Jacobin and their approving summary of communist Cuba's mission statement, here's what they said. Havana presents itself to the Third World as the ideal site for radically rethinking anti colonialism, anti imperialism, and decolonization. The document takes readers on an excursion through the history of the late twentieth century in Cuba's many contributions to revolutionary violence that typified it. Cuban guerrillas terrorized Latin America and Sub Saharan Africa. They exported insurrectionary tactics and the tools of revolutionary violence to every corner of the world, and provided material as well as spiritual support for a variety of militant outfits even inside the United States. All the while Havana articulated a dogma of third worldism that would go on to instantiate itself as the dominant genre of left wing radicalism around the globe. That's what we have now. Right, So. You of a of an older generation, you saw a different brand of Marxism out of the Soviet Union, right or Maoist Marxism. Right, maybe you saw that the Cultural Revolution and the four Right. You saw that manifestation. The Cuban manifestation is third world ism. And they have been training people. They have been putting people into positions and into schools and such all over the world and including the United States. They have cobbled together an anti Western alliance that includes organizations such as the Palestine Liberation Organization, the PLO, the Viet cong Puerto Rico's leftist pro independence Movement, South Africa's African National Congress, and Zimbabwe African People's Union, among others. The report describes how Cuba undermined the civil rights movement in America and its commitment to nonviolent civil disobedience. They fomented that division inside the civil rights movement to try to get more violence. All right, for over a. Year now, you've heard me talking about create a video. This from Noah Rothman at National Review going over some of the highlights of this report that was issued by the US State Department about Cuba. It outlined the methods that Cuba used to establish contacts between Americas would be militants and their comrades in places like Angola, Mozambique, Algeria. So many violent movements that upended the late twentieth century, from the Nicaraguan Sandinistas to the PLO, were tethered together by Cuban initiatives. So too were terrorist organizations like the Puerto Rican Independence Gang the FALN, which was one of the deadliest Marxist guerrilla groups of the nineteen seventies, and, according to one FBI account, was supported and directed by the Cubans at a first hand level. The Weather Underground was another I mentioned. I think I mentioned the Weather Underground yesterday. Bernadine Dorn and William Ayers Bill Ayers, the founders of the Weather Underground. They were mentioned in the report. You'll recall also they had the direct link to Barack Obama. I said yesterday that I've always called Obama red diaper baby, because that's what he was born into Marxism. The tool that Cuba uses. Include the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples. But now, who could be opposed to that? Who could be opposed to an Institute of Friendship with the Peoples or the National Network on Cuba, or the Inter Religious Foundation for Community Organization or the National Lawyer's Guild. Does that one ring a bell? It should if you've been listening to me this show. I've talked about the NLG, the National Lawyers Guild. Yeah, they've popped up all over the place representing who Antifa just an idea. See, it's just an idea, It's not an organization. Noah Rothman says this was a one time Soviet cutout that has frustrated US efforts to counter communist influence for nearly a century. The NLG is cited as an organization that financed the activities of the Marxist Gorillas of the nineteen seventies with Cuba's backing. Today, the NLG is also notorious for working in coordination with antifat networks. The report says guild members have openly admitted to directly coordinating with self described ANTIFA groups, meeting before street confrontations to preemptively discuss tactics. They represent them in court. They've also been hooked up with the anti Ice riots and such. Although those direct action activities then, oh, here's another one should ring a bell as well, The People's Forum. That's the group led by Neville Roy Singham. Yeah, same guy, same group that's been funding the anti Data Center campaigns. I'm sure it's just coincidental. Nevill Roy Singham, then Shanghai based former Marxist militant organizer with the League of Revolutionary Black Workers, was singled out for his work on behalf of Communist Cuba's efforts to cultivate new agents of influence, and of course, the Democratic Socialists of America. They are singled out for special condemnation, not because the organization or its members are on Cuba's payroll. Ever, the DSA is the ideological inheritor of the Cuban influenced radicalism of the post nineteen sixties left, and it freely embraced the policy agenda and worldview of its own accord. Nevertheless, DSA members have had extensive contact with Cuban intelligence assets. Did you know one of the women who traveled to Cuba for training years ago? Karen Bass? Yeah. The mayor of Los Angeles makes you wonder is the devastation in that city an accident? Is that just her incompetence or maybe it's a little intentional From the text line, m hm, seven oh four number says how long are we going to allow this communist takeover to continue? The Democrats aren't going to save us. They humored these people, and now look where we are. The younger generation is all for socialism. How do we reverse this? And I responded to seven O four number by saying, we talk about what Marxism is and how evil it is. It is the. Obliteration of individual liberty, productivity, wealth. And life. That's what we do. It is a hideous idea and the way you combat the ideas I believe is that you engage with the idea see for a long time, and this is like, this is the fault of the of the Boomers. But I would actually say, as a member of jen X, probably more so our fault because when we were coming up and we were in you know, high school, junior high or whatever, and the Berlin Wall came falling down and the Soviet Union collapsed, and you know, our parents' generation, the Boomers were all like, you know, yay, we defeated Communism, to which I remember Ronald Reagan saying at the commencement to dress at the Citadel when my brother graduated, and he said, who's this we you're talking about? So yeah, we like that. That was the Bill Clinton came along and he was like, oh, we have the Peace Dividend. Remember we can save all this money on the military. Now we don't have to worry about the Soviet Union anymore. But evil never dies, it doesn't. It just mutates into something else. So you we are always fighting this evil. It is the natural state of things. And now it will it will ebb and flow right, but it never goes away. And so we went through a period. I don't know, maybe about a decade in the nineties, I guess right, where things were really really good. It's not to say that everything was good in every year. You know, younger generations, the gen z, the millennials, you know, they think everything was perfect, everything was great in every generation before theirs, and that's that wasn't true either. I remember the dot com bust, that's pretty bad, the Y two K stuff, nine eleven recession after that, the Great Recession after that. I mean, there were a lot of things that have hit, and you know, every generation goes through these things, but also every generation blames the one before, So I get that. But when it comes to not articulating the evil of Marxism, yeah, I do feel like we are to blame for that. We did take our eye off the ball. Now. Part of that was because the Marxists had to regroup because they had been so utterly defeated right after the collapse of the Soviet Union. They were so utterly defeated, and the Russians then came out and remember published all of their internal files about what the KGB had done to its own people, about the horrors of the gulags and all of the political prisoners and all of the corruption everything like that, and it laid waste to the ideology for a while. And that's when you end up with the repackaging. It has to mutate, the evil has to find a new form that is now attractive. You've got people running around like this guy, Hassan Piker, little Nepo, baby, chunky equestrian as a child. I mean, he has hit the gym now, so he's lost all the weight. But this guy raised in the lap of luxury and he's a comie and all he does is about how great Mao is. The guy went to the what was it the. College Democrats or something like that, or College Progressives or something. I forget. It was some college conference that he went to, like over the weekend and delivered a speech in support of Mao and communism. And he was wearing like one of the Maoist military jackets you know. Now think about But if he had gone in front of that crowd in Nazi regalia, he would be done, absolutely done. Nobody would want to invite him to anything. But for some reason, Mao, who killed more people than Hitler did, Mao's okay, Mao is an acceptable figure to praise. Why well, when you control the institutions, as the left has for the last forty years, you cannot tell people about the horrors of Mao, how he starved tens of millions of his own people, right, how he killed tens of millions of his own people. You just don't tell the kids that. They never learned that, And so all they hear is the people's revolution, and oh is in China, this great country, and look at their great leap forward, and all of that other garbage. Back to Noah Rothman, There's a geostrategic dimension to Cuba's third worldism. Cuba provides America's enemies with a vector to infiltrate and influence America. It's a listening post for China, approving ground for Russian technology, and an outpost for its military assets, and a foothold in the West for the Islamic Republic of Iran. During the decades in which Cuba ran Venezuela as a colonial outpost, analysts estimated that thousands of suspected hezbolah Hamas and other Iranian backed militants had traveled to Venezuela and to other parts of Latin America, including Bolivia and Nicaragua. The report also says many of the most significant upheavals in recent American political history, from the George Floyd riots to the rise of anti to the explosion of pro terrorist activism on American college campuses, they can all be linked in some way, shape or form to Cuban influence. The practical utility of this report amid the Trump administration's emerging conflict with the tenets of Third worldism should not be understated. He says, It's not some quaint artifact of a bygone era. It is a real and present danger. All right. From the text line here, and let's see what you people are saying. Oh, Danny says, socialism. Communism is certainly hideous unless you're a pot smoking, cheeto eating, PlayStation PlayStation playing couch jockey who realizes their four year degree in social sciences will not get them very far in their motivation and work ethic, only good enough for food stamps and government freebee programs. Then the communism, Santa Claus, sounds pretty good and we'll get their vote. Just look around the next time you're at the mall and see how many of those types are present. That group is growing so here's the thing. I've gone over this before. The people who are promoting Marxism in America the most are the college educated, low incomes. These are the NEPO babies, if you will. They come from usually middle class, upper middle class. They are used to a certain standard of living. They go off to college, they get a degree in something that then nobody wants to actually employ them to utilize. They cannot make enough money, and then they're resentful because they don't have all of the material things that they expect to have because they grow grew up with those material things. Right, Because remember, at its core, Marxism is just materialism. For all of their criticisms of free market capitalism and greed and all of this other stuff about the free market, they're the materialists. That's what Marxism is. It's envy four other people's stuff. They want that status, but they cannot achieve it themselves. They are resentful, and so they lash out. Now they dress it up in the language of empathy or decolonization or whatever the new flavor of the month is. They'll dress it up in all of these terms. And usually they'll push the you know, the working class or poor people. They push them to the front, like we're doing this for them. It's not a battle from a battle between the have nots and the halves. It's the halves versus the have mores. It's the Nepo babies raging against their parents who gave them too much. That which is acquired too easily is esteemed too lightly. I believe that was Hamilton, not the play the actual guy. Yeah, so here's still doesn't give me his name, so I'm saying candy crusher. We know the Trump administration is gunning for a war with Cuba next and they are ramping up the propaganda lately in order to justify that. They just pulled the same exact playbook with Venezuela. Uh well, I mean, if they can go in and knock out the leader of Cuba and free those people and we don't have to commit ground troops and we don't have to do anything else, and we get somebody else in there that's not anti American COMI I'm yeah, like okay. U m hmm. You mentioned y two K. Steve says, I remember the chaotic two days before anybody could do business at banks. The data center hype soon to be equally chaotic, love your show. Always impressed with your show prep. Thank you, Steve, appreciate it. Okay, this seven oh four number is still arguing with me over data centers. I kind of encouraged. It's that is my fault. Remember what Lenin said, if you go around with pictures of chairman, now, you're not going to make You're not going to make it with anyone anyhow. Yeah, when people talk about how bad America is, especially when they talk about how good China is and how much advanced advancement China has endured, I tell him. I remind him that two places in the world that slavery is still allowed is China in South Africa. And they just look at me like I have three eyeballs. Well maybe you do, Jeff, have you thought about that? Maybe you do have a third eyeball? Timoteo says, whenever the subject comes up, whoever it was at the Pentagon, Oh, sorry, that was this boomer taught you better now. I mean, this is the thing. You have a generation, multiple generations, and it was starting when I was in school. Okay, because the boomers moved from a lot of the radical leftist boomers, they moved into these areas right into academia, into higher ed. They moved into the teaching colleges. They then brought their radicalism into the classrooms. They taught teachers. The teachers then taught the next generations. And that's always been the way you control the society is by teaching the next generation, now, did it? They always rely on the young, always because those are the ones that they can brainwash and doctrinate or teach right about how wonderful things would be if we could just deny human nature, right, if we could just get rid of that pesky human nature thing, then we would have utopia. That's always been the sales pitch on this but at the core of it, it has always been evil, always has me. All right, that'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening.
