Okay, so up in Michigan, I know we've spent a lot of time covering the U.S. Senate race here in North Carolina for obvious reasons. But there is also a pretty disturbing and dangerous campaign going on in Michigan. And I want to start way back in July. The Democrat candidate up in Michigan is Abdul El-Sayed. And back in July, Jim Garrity wrote a post at National Review saying, titled Meet Graham Plattner 2.0, Michigan's Abdul El-Sayed. And he said, it might surprise you to learn that former Maine Democratic Senate candidate Graham Plattner was not technically a Democratic Socialists of America party candidate, right? He was not an official member. He was never formally a member of their cadre. The candidate, who's really thrilling DSA hearts and who they're really pulling for is Abdul El-Sayed. El-Sayed insists that, like Graham Plattner, he is not a DSA member. He's not a Democratic Socialist. It's apparently just a huge coincidence that the DSA has, quote, already shifted organizers, volunteers, and resources towards Battleground, Michigan. He's been endorsed by socialist Bernie Sanders. He's been endorsed by current and former DSA members of Congress like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Jamal Bowman, and Summer Lee, as well as Representative, the newly under investigation, Ilhan Omar, who's not a formal member of the DSA, but a recipient of a DSA Statement in Solidarity. So that's apparently a thing that the DSA does. Okay. So the first thing that you should know about El-Sayed is that he and his campaign refer to him as Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, even though he's never been granted a medical license and he's barely seen any patients in his entire career. So he uses vote for the doctor, Dr. El-Sayed, and all of this. They make a big showing of the doctor status. Um, Also, the New York Times was just busted in a comparison that was done between the way they reference him as Dr. El-Sayed all the time in their news stories. Yet when Ben Carson was running, also a doctor, actual doctor who like did surgeries and stuff, he was never referred to as Dr. Ben Carson. He always got the Mr. Ben Carson treatment for some reason, which we may never be able to know. El-Sayed has said in the past that he decided not to practice medicine after treating a patient during medical school and decided that he wanted to address systemic issues instead of individual patients. See, he wanted to help people so much that he stopped helping people, and then he went on to address the systemic issues, the bigger things, right? Turns out El-Sayed is a physician the way that Graham Platner was an oyster farmer. He did it a couple of times, but he doesn't make a living at it. Okay. Also, and by the way, I'd like, these are just like the, like the high level stuff. We're going to go deeper into the more dangerous components here, but these, this is the stuff that would generate problems for any political campaign. Okay. For any candidate, uh, well, any Republican candidate, who am I kidding? Right. Any Republican candidate, Democrats, they have that Democrat privilege. So a Also, he called for defunding the police, but now he says he never said that, and he wonders why the media is so fixated on all of these past statements, which he made on his own YouTube channel. Okay, these are things that he said himself. Then he hid all of the videos when he started running, and people started asking him questions about the things that he had said on his own YouTube channel. He also called for abolishing ICE. The centerpiece of his domestic agenda is the hardy perennial subject of Medicare for All, which is a version of single payer and would come at a price tag of somewhere in the neighborhood of like $ 50 trillion, which would bankrupt America, which is a feature, not a bug, by the way. He has also made some comments that gun owners may find a little discouraging, let's say. He said, Quote, what if we tweaked the Constitution, amended the Second Amendment, and instead of the right to bear arms, we change it to the right to have health care? Yeah, that's easy. Just do that. No problem whatsoever. Sure, this was him, again, talking into his own camera on his own YouTube channel. It is one of many videos that he quietly made private from his channel once he decided that he wanted a seat in the world's most powerful legislative body. This is a piece by J.P. Richardo. He is the federal elections manager for Gun Owners of America, National Gun Lobby, okay? He writes at Fox News, Moms Demand Action has endorsed El-Sayed. Moms Demand Action is the grassroots arm of Everytown for Gun Safety, which is an anti-gun organization. One of its stated goals is to ban the AR-15, right, the most popular semi-automatic sporting rifle in America. Um, When he ran for governor in 2018, he supported a, quote, assault weapons ban. His campaign has responded to a CNN article about the deleted videos by saying, quote, cherry picked comments from old podcasts don't reflect his beliefs today. Like this is, again, Democrat privilege where you get to say, oh, that was just a wacky, youthful thing. I was, you know, I was a crazy kid, whatever. And it was like, dude, it was like four years ago. Like, what are you talking about? You had a YouTube channel. but he never wanted or expected these comments to surface. That's why he tried to hide the video, right? When recently pressed by Jesse Waters on Fox News about his comments to abolish the Second Amendment, he basically just dodged the question. Former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, who infamously called for no more guns, along with her gun control group, also just endorsed El-Sayed. In fact, her announcement of the endorsement for him El-Sayed is in the endorsement saying it's an honor to receive the endorsement of Gifford's PAC. This is not the statement from a candidate, though, who supposedly regrets calling for the abolition of the Second Amendment, right? Anti-gunners like El-Sayed are also terrified that in June 2027, coming up, the Supreme Court maybe will strike down assault weapons bans as unconstitutional. So let's go ahead and get a Senate majority, and let's start packing the U.S. Supreme Court. Why don't we try to do something like that, right? This is part of the long-term plan. You get these senators in now on six-year terms. You get House members elected. You basically take control of the legislature, puts you in a position that if you get a Democrat president in 2028, you then institute your revolution, right? That's the trajectory that we are on. Going over the history and the record of Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan, it should raise a lot of concerns. In fact, it has raised a lot of concerns, particularly his anti-Israel stuff, his anti-Jewish stuff, his proximity to the Muslim Brotherhood, a designated terrorist organization all around the world, with plans to wage civilizational jihad inside America. We're going to go in-depth on that, too, to the point where you've got long-time or lifelong Jewish Democrat voters in Michigan that are coming out publicly saying, we're voting for Mike Rogers, the Republican, in this campaign, because El-Sayed is just, he's too dangerous, and he's lying all over the place about all of these connections and all of the things that he has said. The key here, this from Jim Garrity's piece, again, back in July, okay, and we're going to get to more current stuff, but the anti-Israel rhetoric we understand now is basically the cover charge to get into the Democrat primaries, like this is, it's a litmus test, but you have to do this if you are a Democrat candidate. You have to. In order to clear the Democrat primaries, anti-Israel sentiment is so prominent in the party that you don't stand a chance, particularly in a state with a heavy Muslim population or a district with a heavy Muslim population. So that's sort of the cover charge. And then if you want to double down and go anti-Jew, anti-Semitic, then that may increase your odds of winning the primaries. But it does pose some problems in the general election. And this really is El-Sayed's bread and butter. He contended that the only reason the U.S. is fighting Iran is because AIPAC, the American-Israeli Political Action Committee, that's the only reason that we're doing this, even though this is one of the most consistent things Donald Trump has talked about in like 40 years. He's always said, like, the Iranian regime's got to go, they can't have a nuclear weapon. But when a deranged anti-Semite attacked Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, Michigan, El-Sayed responded, quote, it's just critical for us to understand that hurt people hurt people. And the circumstances happening 6,000 miles away can affect the lives that we live here. Now, the attack on that school, it was a synagogue, but it had a school there too. And this guy drove his car in there. He's going to blow up his car and kill all of these kids. But he was shot dead by the security forces that are in the synagogue that basically every synagogue now has to pay for. The FBI characterized that attack as a Hezbollah-inspired act of terrorism, because the guy who carried it out had a brother who was taken out by the Israelis in Lebanon while fighting for Hezbollah. Okay, so, like, the idea that this guy, oh, he's hurt because his terrorist brother fighting jihad against the Jews, that he was taken out, that he was killed in combat, that now that means I gotta go blow up a synagogue full of Jewish kids. That's what El Sayed is talking about. That's what he's basically defending. And this angered a lot of Jewish people for obvious reasons. In March, El Sayed told his supporters, quote, I also want to remind you guys that there are a lot of people in Dearborn, Michigan, who are sad today. So, like, I just don't want to comment on the killing of the Ayatollah in Iran. He didn't want to comment on that. This was what he told staffers. The call was recorded. The audio got leaked. So we know this is what he said to his staffers, that he didn't want to comment on it, that we took out the Ayatollah, because a lot of his constituents would be sad about that. And then in his recent debate in the Democrat primary against Haley Stevens, whom he beat, he mentioned Israel, AIPAC, or the war against Iran. He used all of these words these references in questions about artificial intelligence, the national debt, and even Senate minority minority leader, Chuck Schumer. So he's just, he works this stuff in on like all of his responses. Again, that's why Jim Garrity said this, this rhetoric is his bread and butter. Then in August, okay, David Strom at hot air.com reporting on, uh, Yeah, he's commenting on a report that was done by CNN's Andrew Kaczynski. Before launching his campaign, Abdul El-Sayed removed more than 100 YouTube videos spanning 2022 through 2024. Okay, so all of these videos were made two to four years ago, and he... He turned them all private. He didn't actually take them down. He didn't delete them. He turned them all private so the public couldn't see it. So reporters, his voters, couldn't see all of the things that he was saying. Transcripts show him talking about replacing the Second Amendment, urging an end to July 4th fireworks, blasting the GOP and their focus on border security. And his campaign has said that he turned all of these videos private because the videos, quote, don't reflect his beliefs today. Now, they don't actually say what his beliefs are now. What was his moment of clarity? What was his, you know, road to Damascus moments? When did he have this epiphany that, oh, you know what? I know I cranked out 100 plus videos over the last four years. and popping off on all of these left-wing topics and adopting the most radical leftist positions. But I don't believe those things anymore. And here's why. Like on this issue, I met with a person, I had this experience or whatever. He never says that. See, Democrats, again, this is Democrat privilege. You get to claim that you don't hold those old positions. That doesn't reflect what I now believe. And you never have to explain what changed your mind. how you came to a different opinion. He never explains that. And there's a logical reason for why. It's because he hasn't changed his opinion. The only thing that has changed is his desire to be a U.S. senator, right? So after he ran for governor, he then does all of these YouTube videos, and now he has to turn them all private because it hurts his electoral chances. That's what's going on. We all know that's what's going on. Of all the DSA-backed candidates who will be on the ballot this fall, David Strom writes, Abdul El-Sayed is the one who is practicing both kinds of taqiyya. He is a Muslim Brotherhood acolyte and is DSA-adjacent, but he pretends he is neither. Taqiyya is this Islamic belief or rule or sort of... conventional wisdom that it's okay to lie in order to protect yourself or whatever. And they come up with all sorts of justifications for it. But at the root of it is that it is okay to lie if it furthers Islam, if it furthers Muslims. And so this is why people are referring to his lies now, saying, oh, I've changed my views on this stuff when he hasn't. People are saying, well, this is just Takiyah, right? He's trying to protect himself from the repercussions of, you know, just disclosing these opinions that are now going to be electorally toxic to him. And then there's the Muslim Brotherhood. We'll get into that in a moment. The holidays will be here before you know it, and so now is the time to create precious and priceless family heirlooms that will last for generations. He's cranked out a bunch of stories about all of these connections that Abdul El-Sayed, the Democrat candidate in Michigan for U.S. Senate, all these connections that he has to the Muslim Brotherhood. Just last week, Chuck Ross reports that Abdul El-Sayed, during his appearance on Meet the Press, he said that neither he nor any of his family members have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. That is the Islamic group that spawned Hamas. But the far-left Senate candidates, half-sister, has said otherwise. She has been boasting on social media about that her family has, quote, long been Muslim Brotherhood. And some of them have even been jailed over their membership in the group. His half-sister is named Iman Abdelhadi. Abdelhadi. Abdelhadi. Anyway, she is an assistant professor at the University of Chicago. Surprise, surprise. Of all the universities. Yeah, University of Chicago. And she wrote openly... about her family's ties to the Muslim Brotherhood in several social media posts going back to 2012 and 2013. She said, quote, My family has long been MB, which is Muslim Brotherhood. And she wrote this just days after Egypt had elected Mohamed Morsi. Do you remember this guy? He was the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood and won the election for president in Egypt. She said, I have had family jailed for being a part of it. Praying for all my family that supports the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, lie low, stay safe. Now, why was she saying lie low after the guy just won the presidency? Well, after Mohammed Morsi won the presidency... he started acting kind of tyrannical, okay? He kind of went a little bit, you know, full Ayatollah, and there was an uprising against him. And so this then prompted concern from Iman Abdel Hadi, the assistant professor and half-sister of Abdul El-Sayed. So her Egyptian family is the same as El-Sayed's. Their mother, they have the same mom, And her name is Fatten Elkemi. That's her name. Okay. F-A-T-T-E-N. Fatten Elkemi. Elkemi. Whatever. She emigrated from Egypt to America in the late 1970s. And she married El-Sayed's dad. But then they divorced. Oh, sorry. Yeah. And then they divorced. Then she married another dude. and he's a Palestinian dude, and that's the father of Iman Abdel Hadi. Okay, so Iman and El-Sayed Abdul, they share the same mom. These revelations seemingly contradict El-Sayed's assurances in an interview on Meet the Press that neither he nor his family have any connections to the brotherhood, which was formed in Egypt in 1928 and spawned Hamas in Gaza in the 1980s. And so he denied this multiple times, to NBC's Kristen Welker. His familial ties to the Muslim Brotherhood run through his mom, Elkemi, Fatten, Elkemi, who at one point worked for the Islamic American Relief Agency, which was sanctioned for funding al-Qaeda. Okay, okay, well, Who among us, really, right? I mean, come on. Like, there's just, when you're dealing with that kind of money, it's moving all around. It's like, oops, I just gave some money to Al-Qaeda. That's the Islamic American Relief Agency. She worked for them, okay? The Treasury Department named the group a specially designated terrorist organization in 2004 for providing financial and logistical support to terrorist groups, including Al-Qaeda and Hamas. court documents filed by U.S. officials named Fattened Alchemy more than a dozen times in connection with the cash transfers. So this is El-Sayed's mom. Alchemy divorced El-Sayed's dad in the mid-1980s after El-Sayed was born. Abdelhadi, the sister, lived with their mom. El-Sayed lived with his dad, who's an engineering professor at at Eastern Michigan University. So both of his parents, though divorced, both of his parents working in the Institutes of Higher Learning. El-Sayed's father-in-law, so the guy who married, or sorry, his wife's father, that guy's name is Tayeb Joukaku. And he is on the board of an organization called the Islamic Society of North America. You're going to hear a lot about this organization coming up. The ISNA or ISNA. That is known as the public face of, want to guess? Wait for it. That's right. It's the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States. So ISNA is the Muslim Brotherhood face in America. The group was named ISNA. as one of the unindicted co-conspirators in the landmark 2007 terror financing trial of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development. This was, again, a huge trial, early 2000s, and a lot of the information that we have about the organization and the plans and the mission of these radical Islamic groups that are infiltrating America, this is where a lot of this information was discovered as part of this trial. Okay? El-Sayed also, just in case you're like, well, that's just his sister, his half-sister. Okay, well, that's just his father-in-law. Okay, that's just his mom. But that's not him, right? Well, not so much. It is also him. Okay? El-Sayed also has expressed support for the Muslim Brotherhood himself. He did this after the election of the Muslim Brotherhood guy in Egypt, Morsi, back in 2012. See, El-Sayed signed an open letter in 2012 with other Egyptian-American leaders that called on the Muslim Brotherhood to purge the media and police. That was the call from American-Egyptian diaspora members, right? To go full Muslim Brotherhood. Purge the media. Purge the police. In addition to denying links to the Brotherhood, El-Sayed evaded questions about whether he would vote to designate it as a terrorist organization as well. He wouldn't answer. That's who's about this close to getting into the U.S. Senate. This guy. Oh, and there's way more. A lot worse, too. We are discussing the problematic ties, I guess you would call them, problematic ties and opinions that the Democrat candidate for U.S. Senate in Michigan, Abdul El-Sayed, has about the Muslim Brotherhood, the ties, his opinions about them, and whether or not he's in line with the Islamic Jihad in the West, because that's what the Muslim Brotherhood, that's the project that they have been embarked upon for multiple decades now, and Part of their efforts include taking over local governments, getting members of their liking into elected office so they can wage civilizational jihad, is what they call it, in their own papers. This was their own plan that was discovered as part of the Holy Land Foundation trial. So the Trump administration, you'll recall, designated the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, which is the oldest and the largest branch, as a terrorist organization. earlier this year. And in various nations, Islamic nations in the Middle East, they have also branded the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization. When asked about whether or not he supports that terrorist organization or a designation on Meet the Press, Abdul El-Sayed would not directly say yes. So I think we know why. Also of note, his half-sister, Abdel Hadi. She was arrested for assaulting a police officer at an anti-ICE protest in Chicago last year, and she indicated in her social media posts that she remained in close contact with her Muslim Brotherhood relatives and even hosted one Brotherhood-linked relative during a visit to the United States. According to Chuck Ross at the Washington Free Beacon, quote, it is unclear whether El-Sayed has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood on his father's side of the family. In his autobiography, yeah, he wrote an autobiography, El-Sayed, Abdul El-Sayed wrote an autobiography. He says in this book that his father emigrated to the United States in 1978 in part because he, quote, had to leave Egypt over his political agitation against Egypt's military dictatorship, which is kind of what the Muslim Brotherhood was doing at that time. El-Sayed has also said his father left Egypt because he believed he could express his religion in America better than he could in Egypt at the time. And surprise, surprise, the campaign for El-Sayed has not responded for request for comment from the Washington Free Beacon. Now, Last week, Chuck Ross had another piece with some more information. I'm not really sure what this means, but let's see if you can figure it out. Abdul El-Sayed has quietly campaigned three times this year with a Michigan-based cleric who served as an Iranian Navy propaganda officer back in the 1980s and also as a high-ranking official at Iran's Martyrs Foundation. which is now sanctioned by the U.S. government because it funneled money to Hezbollah and it paid stipends to the families of suicide bombers. Okay. So this is one of the guys that Abdul El-Sayed has campaigned with three times. This guy. His name is Muhammad Ali Elahi. He is the imam of the Islamic House of Wisdom in Dearborn Heights. And they hosted Abdul El-Sayed at a campaign event at his mosque On June 24th. And then they organized an anti-Israel interfaith roundtable. On July 24th. 21st. And then he attended a Dearborn fundraiser last month that raised $ 350, 000 for El-Sayed's Democrat Senate bid. Elahi, the imam, he claimed after 9-11 that Mossad and and Israel perpetrated the attacks. He served as the head of the Iranian Navy's Political Ideological Office. That is a post to which he was appointed by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khamenei, the Iranian Supreme Leader, who coined the phrase that America is the great Satan. Elahi was photographed with the Ayatollah in the 1980s, And he said in a 2017 interview that his job was to reintroduce Iranian officers to Islamic values after they had become too westernized prior to the Islamic Revolution of 1979. See, so that was his gig. He went to work in the Navy to basically radicalize the sailors. Elahi has said he helped create a research unit for Khomeini's Martyrs Foundation, which was officially established in... to support soldiers who were injured or killed in the Iran-Iraq War, but also had other purposes. The U.S. government sanctioned the Martyrs Foundation in 2007 over its support for Hezbollah and other terrorist groups. That foundation, the Martyrs Foundation, established a U.S. affiliate in Dearborn and has bankrolled terrorist attacks and provides stipends to the families of suicide bombers. Elahi denounced the FBI raid in 2007 on the Martyrs Foundation Dearborn subsidiary, another group called Goodwill Charitable Organization. So the FBI raided them, and Elahi denounced it. He came to Dearborn, Michigan in 1992. He has maintained ties to high-level Iranian political and religious leaders. He met with Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was the one that was recently assassinated in the beginning of the current war. Photos from this June 24th event that was held for Abdul El-Sayed at the mosque, which the Islamic House of Wisdom posted online, these are their own photos, shows El-Sayed speaking alongside Elahi and embracing him, giving him a big old hug in front of a gender-segregated crowd, because that's how Islam rolls, you know, you're not allowed to mix the genders. They're all dressed in black garb, and they did this event to mark the beginning of the Islamic New Year. Staffers for El-Sayed's campaign also set up a booth outside of the mosque's worship area to, you know, do voter registration and the like, obviously. Now, El-Sayed appears to have taken steps here to keep his ties to many of the Dearborn area clerics and activists out of public view. Because if you go to the website and you look up the endorsements, El-Sayed prominently displays endorsements from Christian leaders, local other leaders and stuff. But he has not acknowledged any endorsements he has received from elahi or other imams i wonder why you would do that i wonder if it might be for the same reason that during an interview uh that he did a televised interview that he did there the video leaked of them setting up the shot setting up the interview and he's sitting in his uh his house he's at a desk uh and he's got a bookcase behind him and he tells the camera people You may not want to get these books over here. You don't want to get these in the shot. And when the video got leaked and people then looked at the books, and yeah, they're kind of problematic too. Problematic in that they're kind of jihadi adjacent, if you will. Yeah, they're not all about the peace and love. So those are the books he's got on his bookshelf. I'm sure for no reason. No, no obvious reason. All right, that'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening.
