So yes, I reference the fascist Ghulag of Charlotte here because it's that's what I'm led to believe by looking at all of the whistleblowing crazies that are running all around chasing customs and border patrol. By the way, if we actually were in a fascist state, you would be thrown in jail two like they would be. They'd be, They wouldn't suffer that, they would not put up with you surrounding them with your phones blowing your whist By the way, do you know what the whistles? You know what that's about. So there's a socialist organization it's called PSL, not to be confused with the permanent seat licenses at the Panther Stadium. PSL Charlotte. It's the local chapter of the National Party for Socialism and Deliberation Party for Socialism and Liberation PSL, and they're handing out the they're handing out these little whistle kits, a little plastic bag. It's got the whistle in it, and it's got a little card in it, and you're supposed to blow, and it's got instructions. So you blow the whistle intermittently and that's sort of like an indication that CBP or ice is in the vicinity, they're around or something, and then you're supposed to do the long sustained whistle blow for everybody, start recording or something like that. There's a reason why they have these whistles at these demonstrations. The other day, there was a press conference on Friday. I did not get to all of the audio, and one of the audio clips that I had was from the chairman of the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners, Mark Durrell. Okay. He has now also signed a letter City of Charlotte Meckelberg County elected Officials joint statement. This was put out November fifteenth, so Saturday. It is from the mayor Vye Lyles. It's from the board chair, the county board chair, Mark Durrell, as well as the CMS Board of Ed chair Stephanie Snead. It's just it's just an amazing letter and not in a good way. But I want to play this clip from Friday and you'll get an understanding of what's going to be in this letter. Here. We don't have any information. This isn't a request that came from Mecklenburg County for assistance or for help, and so we don't understand what the plan is, what the strategy is. Okay, I can help you with that. The plan is they're gonna come to town. Customs and Border Patrol is gonna come to town and they're going to go after people, probably with like a list, and they're gonna they're gonna detain them and then they're gonna send them back to their home countries. That's the plan. That's They did not tell me that that was the plan. I just see that that's what they've been doing in all of these other cities. Also, they don't need to tell you, especially if they receive that you are not going to be cooperative, and as evidence of your not being cooperative. I would just point to the fact that we've got tens of thousands of illegal aliens in Mecklenburg County and we have had a sheriff who scrapped the two eighty seven G program and is just releasing these people without the detainer requests being honored by ICE or from ICE rather. So, Yeah, like your actions to date would indicate that you are not cooperative. Why would they tell you? Why would they tell you so you can then warn people and then they could evade detection and arrest. So that's the first point here. Typically, the way we like to operate, which might be a little strange to people, but we like to understand what the plan is. No, you're not involved in this. You're not involved in this. This is federal law enforcement. The FBI doesn't tell you if they're going to be doing some sort of undercover operations and such. Right, they don't need to get your approval. You're the county commission chairman, Like. Right, what is the strategy? What are we trying to accomplish? And so I can answer that one too. They are trying to what are they trying to accomplish? Customs and Border patrol along with the Department of Homeland Security and ICE. What they are attempting to do, the goal is to deport criminal and legal aliens. Glad I could answer that for him. That usually takes a two way process of communication, which we have not had. As a matter of fact, everything has been veiled in this cloak of secrecy, which again I don't know what we're trying to accomplish. And so what we're trying to do is educate the citizen citizenry with respect to the information that's available. Wait. Wait, you're trying to educate who hmmm, the citizenry. Who do you count in that citizenry class? Because like being a citizen means something or else, it doesn't. So many of our political debates quote unquote are are hamstrung by this, uh, this pretending by Democrats to not really understand what's going on. I don't understand what it's going Really, you don't understand what's going on. Like there was a whole campaign the guy with the with the hair and the orange complexion. You guys call him the fascist, you know that guy. He ran a whole campaign. He was talking about immigration. He's going to close the border, which by the way, has happened, right, he did that, and then we've seen like the implementation of this in various cities. So like it. I think it's pretty clear what's going on. And like the this this pretense that I'm dumb from Darrell. It's just it's just so frustrating. You know what's happening. You understand what's going on. But he's got to he's got to walk this line like, oh, you know, we're all about cooperation, but uh, but we're totally not. Resources community groups that can help we put out guidance to our staff with respect to county assets and the way we should approach it. We are not here to break the law. We are here to abide by the law. But it would be great to have some partners that we're working with us to be able to make sure that we understand exactly what the plan is. So he feels like he hasn't been included, like all of these officials that did the press conference and now sign this letter, that they haven't been included, that ICE isn't telling us what's going on. Steve, welcome to the program. Hello Steve Hey, Pete Hey, and and and to add to to that, I'm going to suggest that our listeners, if you have a local policeman that you know, and and and we're we're lucky in this family, we do, you would hear them say that they that that the cooperation level between what's going on at city Hall and the police department stinks. That the numbers numbers of policemen who are down, they're saying a couple hundred is closer to five hundred. They're not going to tell you that. They're not going to tell you that they're so frustrated because it's a revolving door. The people that are supposted to carry out justice after the enforcement people do their job aren't getting it done. That the streets are refilled with people that should be in jail and they're not being taken care of, and that their level of frustration is at the time op level right now. Yeah no wonder, no wonder that ICE and the other enforcement people that come in here don't bother with any fit an effective stupid government. Yeah no, they. Other than that, everything's just great. Yeah no, I mean, it's not surprising to any objective observer why the why the agents are going into these cities that they're going into. It's because these cities have proven by their actions and words of their leadership, right, they've proven that they are not cooperating that they are they're essentially trying to nullify federal law. It's a nullification play. And by not enforcing these laws and and you know, creating sanctuaries for illegal immigrants, I mean, that's that's pretty obvious, Steve. I appreciate the call, Buddy good to hear from it. You know, stories are powerful. They help us make sense of things, to understand experiences. And the cake has a big two eighty seven G written on it and a circle with a line through it, you know, like no towo eighty seven g. And he cut into the cake, cutting right through two eighty seven G on top. They celebrated it. He ran on this as a platform. Now they're all confused. I don't understand. I don't understand why immigration enforcement is coming here. It's like we don't even have a problem. That's why they're literally saying that it's not even a big deal here. Thank you Ikey Fu for sending me the photo. Like I remember because I was up in Asheville at the time. McFadden won. Down here I mean, I'm not saying had I been here, you know, like he would not have been elected. But I wasn't here and he was elected. So I think it's a pretty straight line there, pretty cause and effect obvious. You know, it's all a distraction. Says after Homeland Security leave Charlotte, I'm going to go shopping with a whistle and blow it when the stores are too crowded. That's right, exactly. Ike if who says as if these local officials wouldn't pass on the information, of course they would pass on the information. They literally did a press conference with the very activist groups that are doing the protests. They stood side by side with them at the press conference on Friday. Then Saturday they put out this statement from the mayor, the County Board of Commissioners chairman, and the CMS board chair, our organizations believe that our diversity makes us stronger. With that belief, which by the way, is not it's not really a I know that. Like diversity is our strength, it's actually still open for debate, but that's a different argument. With that belief, we are unwavering in our commitment to a safe and welcoming community where everyone can grow and thrive. It is critical for all residents to feel secure in our community and know they can live their lives without being fearful while walking down the street, going to school, work, or the grocery store. All residents, by the way, do you remember what they were saying? What Democrats said Whenever you would ask like, well, why isn't the sheriff cooperating? Why did he scrap two eighty seven G program? Like what did the Democrats always say? That's a federal issue, right, They would always say that it's the immigration issue. This is at the national level. Congress needs to fix the broken system. We can't possibly do anything here, you know, they would always punt it back over to the federal level. Well, you should be happy then, because this is what the federal enforcement of the law looks like. Oh no, no, you don't like that either. It's almost as if you're not arguing in good faith. Almost back to the letter, the expected US Customs and Border Protection commonly called border patrol operations are causing unnecessary fear and uncertainty in our community? Is it unnecessary? Right? Shouldn't criminal illegal aliens? Shouldn't they be fearful if people are in the country illegally Should they be fearful of being caught? If you were in another country illegally, would you be afraid that you're going to get caught and deported from that country? Isn't that always like a fear of being caught? Like that's the point of the law, is that if you get caught, there are repercussions that you want to avoid, you know. Anyway, says as operations in other cities have resulted in people without criminal records being detained. See they're there again. They're conflating legal immigrants with illegal immigrants. It's all just like this one, this one group. They're like, oh, the people without criminal records. Yeah, but are they here illegally? Yes? Then that means they go before the immigration court and then if they're found to be here illegally and not appropriately here, then they get sent back. That's how the immigration system has always worked until it was, you know, purposefully ignored. So people without criminal records being detained and violent protests being the result of unwarranted actions, then there's no condemnation for the vileland protests. It's just like, oh, and this thing happened, Oh well, we want people in Charlotte and Mecklinberg County to know we stand with all residents who simply want to go about their lives contributing to the larger community. So this is an open borders defense. This is an amnesty defense, is what they're doing. Each of our organizations have made commitments to the people we serve to protect their rights and dignity. We are committed to following the law and to protecting the rights of all people who call Charlotte and Mecklinberg County home, even those who have violated the law. That's how you're committed to following the law is providing safe haven and turning a blind eye to people who are breaking the law. It is important for people to understand their rights. There are a number of organizations standing ready to assist individuals seeking legal guidance on immigration matters. Then they give some some data or some links on that. If you need the police, don't hesitate to call nine one one. CMPD does not participate in immigration and customs enforcement or border control operations. We are not involved in any of this. We know many of you want to speak out and make your voices heard, and that's your right. We ask that as a community. We do so peacefully. Please please be peaceful. We do not want to see violence like many witnessed in other cities. We can stand up for what we believe in without resorting to violence. Our regent has thrived and grown because our strength lies in our diversity and our collective commitment to each other and to this community. Let us all, no matter our political allegiance, stand together for all hard working and law abiding families. Well, lawbiting, but they're not lawbiiting. That's the problem. And that's that again, like so much of our energy is consumed by you pretending not to understand things. Here's a great idea. How about making an escape to a really special and secluded ghetto in western North Carolina. Just a quick drive up the mountain and Cabins of Ashville is your connection. All right, let me clear out some of the communic case from listeners here. This is from Denny, who says, I'm wondering why Customs and Border Patrol doesn't hold sheriffs accountable for ignoring detainment requests. Can you comment on this? Well? Their requests so the the federal government cannot force the local sheriffs to comply with the detainer requests. That's what It's a request, and so that's and so sheriffs have refused. Democrat sheriffs have refused when that became a big deal for their their party base, right, Democrats ran on on this kind of sanctuary type of approach, and that's where they went to get their voters, you know, twenty twenty five years ago. So yeah, it's just a request. Now the state has now passed legislation to force cooperation between sheriffs and ICE. And I would also point out that our former governor, my good friend Ray Roy Cooper, that he vetoed what three different laws, three different bills he vetoed that would have required that cooperation too. John, Oh yeah, I saw this too. The Democrat party chairwoman Anderson Clayton, who's Breezy. That's her name on Twitter, a Breezy Clayton. And I don't know why. But. She said she posted on Twitter. Border Patrol and ICE are currently arresting and stealing our community members off the streets in Charlotte. Donald Truck is single handedly responsible for this heinous actions. Please report any activity you see and know that our party stands with all immigrant communities. That prompted a response from the guy leading the operation Customs and Border Patrol, Greg Bavino, and he said, wrong, US Border Patrol is busy arresting criminal aliens who are walking your streets with impunity. We arrested so many criminals that we had to assign extra agents to process them. We'll begin putting these dozens of criminals on the social media so you won't be mistaken again. And as we all know, Anderson Clayton in as part of her strategy for rural outreach to Republican voters like to try to maybe capture some of these rural voters that used to vote Democrat but now vote Republican. So her big out reach is, you know, to go have like coffee meetings with Democrats in these rural areas. Also to curse a lot, right, She likes to curse a lot and then say y'all all the time. So that's the. Outreach effort she's been engaged in. So her response to Greg Bovino is bleep you. That was her response, but she didn't say bleep. She typed it out, and he responded truth can be a hard thing. Their partner. Yeah, uh huh from the text line, Yeah, that's the chair of the Democrat Party. Just in case you were wondering where they are on all this this from Dana. Do you have a statistic on how many others are being targeted? Meaning Chinese, Indians, Arab European, et cetera. No, I don't have any. I have not seen any breakdown of the race or ethnicity of any of the people that they've detained. Just curious how many people of fair skin have been detained. I don't know, But it's going to be difficult to track that sort of thing because in Mecklenburg County they list all of the they list Hispanics as whites. So even if you get the racial data, not sure you're going to learn very much about it, although it may indicate that they are deporting a bunch of white people, and then maybe you'll be happy. I don't know, or said I don't know, Anthony says. Oh. Regarding that protester who said no one is illegal on stolen land, Anthony says, we return, nor owe the land to no one. There are no native Homo sapien species to the Americas. Everyone immigrated here, including the Native Americans. Yeah, that's right, The grumpy man says, thanks for making the point that the open border's progressives have brought this occupation upon themselves. Special thanks to Sheriff not my fault, McFadden for all of the ignored detainers. He is the true villain in this story. By the way, I'm a natural born US citizen, but if DHS wants to deport me to Aruba, I will gladly go. It's Henry from rock Hill. It's up. Henry just wanted to see if you can teach pan how to pronounce Winthrop correctly. Yeah, I did catch she said Winthrop. That's how my mom has always pronounced it, and she's up in New York. To the people who say we're on stolen land, then why don't you give up your piece of stolen land to whomever you think it belongs to and you move to a place where the land isn't stolen. It's just performative, that's the thing. These things are just performative. These are virtue signals that they put out there. You know, I know you know that that was Kirk. This is Chris. Back when I was a teacher, i'd have administered a pop quiz as soon as the skulls of mush left. I don't know what that's a reference to. Crazy Mike says, I had legal folk not show up to work today and my job site was shut down because they were worried about harassment, slash profiling just driving to work had legal Oh so you're saying that these were people who are here legally and they didn't show up because they didn't want to get They didn't want to have to prove that they're here legally, which is, by the way, the law. That's the law. There's immigration enforcement officers can ask people for their immigration proof if they're here legally, and you have to provide it. It's the law. You're supposed to carry it with you at all times. It can be recques listed at any time by immigration enforcement, and if you don't have it with you, you can be charged criminally with a misdemeanor. All right, If you're listening to this show, you know I try to keep up with all sorts of current events, and I know you do too, And you've probably heard me say get your news from multiple sources. Deborah on the WBT text line driven by Liberty Buick GMC Debra says, isn't there a whole government agency called e verify that's supposed to prevent. The hiring of illegal aliens? Do people not use that anymore? I don't understand it either. E Verify was supposed to be the fix for this, you know, just like all of the other things that they said were the fix for this. Last name is French, says Pete. I work for a fortune five hundred company ran projects and construction, and we required all construction contractors and subcontractors to submit a document. That showed the. Immigrant was legally here and legally able to work, So there's no excuse. Robert says. A few years ago, I was stopped at a red light when an illegal alien caused a huge accident and my vehicle was totaled and there were lots of injuries, me included. Since she was illegal, she didn't have a valid license. Luckily the vehicle belonged to a relative that had insurance, but it was a massive hassle and I'm still in pain three years later. That illegal should not have been in the streets of Charlotte, and I'm happy to finally see some enforcement. Andrew, I cannot see. I cannot see that image. It's too small. I screened. I'll have to look during a break. Alice Cooper, Billy, I don't I don't know all of you. It's like three people. Whistles are used on job sites for signaling when the crane is moving. Interesting, Jason says, the reason I didn't tell them the details of why and where they are going is the exact same reason why that guy wanted to know. That's Mark Charrell. You should tell us where you're going, right, That's why they're not telling you, right, you want to know. I hate it when people play dumb or innocent when they are neither. Jennifer says, Uh, traffic on I seventy seven and forty five today feels like a holiday eerily empty, you know, Like I noticed that on my drive into work today too. Yeah, Wilkinson Boulevard from the west into Charlotte was. It was pretty light. And I'll see what happens on the way home today. It may be different on the way home. I don't know. And I don't know if. There's is school out today. No school's in. Yeah, so are you seeing like because that would be pretty remarkable, right. It's weird that the party who's been in control of Charlotte for years doesn't know what's going on. Very telling and weird. Let's stay here, did did did? R J says migrants that are here illegally have been given every opportunity to self deport with very generous packages to do. So, yeah, we talked about I saw it on their website earlier today. They've got a they've got a big link right there for you know, to help people who are here illegally self depart you know, the ones flaunting our laws and staying are not only adding insult to the people who have migrated here legally, but also the ones who have already left voluntarily. Why can't the governor appeal to them to go ahead and leave and save themselves from border patrol enforcement, uh, which is never going to be pleasant. Also, I think re entry after deportation penalty should be strengthened to felonies with mandatory prison sentences. So yeah, like there is a reason why Democrats are not calling for people to self deport because they want them here, right, And that's this thing that like everybody pretends like this isn't the case, but it is the case. And I'm not saying it's only Democrats. There are whole bunch of Republicans too that I mean, they've floated amnesty ideas in the past as well. So they're like there are people in America that are Americans, that would very much prefer to have illegal aliens get amnesty and convert it into citizens right. And the mere fact that they won't tell people to avoid law enforcement by self deporting, by going back to your home countries. But they don't talk about that three three six number. I haven't heard where these deteenees are going to after they are arrested by the Feds. I'm hoping they go to a federal facility and not the local revolving door. Here at Mecklinberg. Now they're going to UH. It's the UH. I think it's off of Taivola Road, the Immigration office over there. In particular, WCNC seems to be losing their mind with ongoing coverage over the last few days. I'm ready to head for a bunker because one would think we're being invaded by the Chinese and if not immediately shot, rounded up for camps. Social media, of course, is losing their mind with the assumption they had one no surprise. No one knows the history of not my fault McFadden and how many people were walking about. Yeah, that's the. Thing again, this is of your own making. This, these are the ramifications of your choices. Democrats, all right. That'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening. I could not do the show without your support and the support of the businesses that advertise on the podcast, so if you'd like, please support them too and tell them you heard it here.
