Chris Crocking for Pete Calendar on one on one one o seven non WBT FM, of course talk all right, here we go and and uh, executive producer Nick, you let me know if I'm mispronouncing. Is it Iredell or uh? I think it was Bedell County Iredell? Thank you. I knew being an out out of towner, I wasn't sure, so I'll make sure I pronounced that right, uh, the right way. We have a story out of Irodale County, which you've doubtedly had been hearing about rightfully so, about a fire that happened and the fire badly burned some children, particularly one young man, one young boy, and mom rushed back into this home to save her children. I'm going to share the story with you real quick. From WBTV, a young mother from Ierdale County is being hailed a hero after running into a burning home and rescuing her three children. The mother, Sheila, suffered serious burns to her face and her oldest son, Grayson, received serious burns to almost half his body. According to the family, the fire happened Monday at West Ida in West Irodale County. It was an absolute act of heroism. I'm going to go on on that in a second, but basically the whole thrust of this story, and before I even get into this, I want to say this. I prayed for this family. I've donated to this family, and I would hope you would do the same. I retweeted this. It's on my Twitter feed aka x feed at Chris crockshow that's at Chris crockshow c Hris k Okay prep a link and everything. But the way the media is portraying this mother is that she's a hero, heroism, hero. Well, let's play this because I kind of culled from wtv's coverage of this the aspect of continuing to call. Her a hero. She's a hero. Hero here here, a hero, And I wonder to you, is she a hero. And I'm not saying anything negative but the mom or the family or anything like that, But is she a hero for going into save her children or is she doing what a mother would do, what you would expect a mother to do. Because I think there's a huge difference. And again I'm not knocking her. I'm not knocking her family. I've donated a support and everything. This is not anything negative on the family. This is negative about how we portray what we expect. Actually, this is about what we expect a mother to do in a situation like that or like this. I should say, let me play the audio for you. It in flames of mother's fierce instincts kicked in. She dared to defy death, risking everything to pull her kids from the inferno. Wbtv's Michael Ward joins us now a lot after speaking with this family and Michael, there's a ton of support pouring in for them. After this, Yeah, especially after hearing about this young mother's real life heroics. But now starts recovery. Hailed a hero for running through a burning house to rescue her children. Donations pour in for young mother Sheila, her husband Hunter, and three children, Shala and her oldest son, Grayson, suffered serious burns. Without Shila's bravery, Ryan doesn't want to imagine how this could have turned out. It was an. Absolute tactic heroism for Sheila to be alert and on guard and ready had the drop of a hat to act on behalf of her kids, and she literally for your wife and mine for her kids. Ryan says, they're grateful for everyone's support and what they call miracles that have already happened. As a family, we are crushed just at the devastation happened, but we are just so thankful for God's protection all right now. This is a family strong in their faith. They say, if you can't donate to the GoFundMe, that prayers are much appreciated, especially for young four year old Grayson. Okay, So, as I said, I donated, I prayed for the family, and I would hope you do the same. I encourage to do the same. I tweeted it out on my Twitter feed at Chris croc Show c hrs CA. Okay, but is the mother a hero. She's not the one going around say a hero her family. I'm not going after them in any way shape. I'm getting I'm going after the fact that people in our media and such are saying she's a hero. What would you what would she be if she didn't rescue the children. What would you be saying if she didn't rescue her own children in this horrific fire? Because I expect a mother to do this. And again, I'm not going after family in any way, shape or form, but I expect a mother to do this, don't you. I expect a mother to rush into a fire or father, which I am one, to risk our lives to save our children. You've heard the stories over the years of unbelievable stories of women who have their car flips over, their child stuck into the car, and they will take that car and they will flip that car over with superhuman strength to save their children. And that's what we expect a mother to do. So I want to ask you the question, if a woman rests women, oh man whatever, runs into that burning house to save their child, are they a hero or do you expect them to do that? I mean, have we gotten to the point where our society and I don't think we have, but I mean, I gotta ask it the way, they're a hero here? A hero? I mean, I think the Meetia's just trying to sell something, unless you think we're at the point where we no longer expect a mother or a father to risk their lives to save their child. To me, this is expected. This is an amazing story. The mom's amazing. But I don't think calling her here is what we should do. I think we should call her an amazing mom. Heroism is when you have no skin in the game and you do it. That's what heroism to me is. For example, if a neighbor rushed over from next door, if the post office guy or lady was walking by and saw a fire and risked their lives to go in there and save that child. To those children in that family, they would be a hero to me. But the mother. I expect a mom to do this, don't you. And then, so, like I said, flipping the question, would she what would you say about her if she didn't rescue her own children? I mean, people would be calling to lock her up. Probably, So then how can you be a hero if it's expected of you to do this? I suppose you could see her actions were her ic, but I don't know. Just the idea of calling her a hero and saying she's a hero. I mean, I think this is a mama beer. I think she's amazing what she did, and I support them and I've donated the family. I encourage you too as well. They're at one hundred and eighty two thousand dollars and one hundred and eighty two thousand, ninety one dollars so far. They're aiming for two hundred and fifty grand. But are you Are you a hero if you do this for your child? Or is this expected? Is the big question? Linees wide open if you want to chime in on this. Seven oh four five, seven one oh seven nine, seven oh four five, seven oh one oh seven nine. I think it's fantastic what she did. But the idea that she's a hero is the media and others selling this. She's a hero, she's a hero, she's a hero. Implying that she's a hero means she it's not normal to go into a fire to save your child, and so are we that morally bankrupt as a society that we now praise people for doing what they expect them to do. Has it become the norm that a mom won't go into a burning building to save their child? I should hope not. That really stuck with me this morning preparing for the show. It just did you know? And the other thing too, is I mean, if let's say, instead of a house fire, instead of a car flipping over and a child's life being at risk being underneath the car or whatever, the mom pulling the car and flipping the car over, how about doing CPR? How about doing the Heimlich? Is that also heroic or is that what you expect a parent to do? My gosh, I remember when I was like five years old or something I'll never forget, when I choked on got choking at Jolly Ranchers or whatever those different mints were every six months. I remember my mom reaching the back with one arm pit kicking me up upside down, and whacking my back with the other arm to save me from choking. I think about something else too, I mean, this is something that goes through your head as a parent. I've got two they're older, aount twenty two year old just graduated college, nineteen year olds halfway through college. And there's been many times over the years I've thought about and talked about when you hear that noise outside, what do you do? How do you handle it. And when you hear that noise outside or it sounds like somebody's trying to break into your house. And one night we did have someone banging on the house at like two three in the morning, and it turned out to me a crazy neighbor literally, but we didn't know who it was. So what do I do and what's my thought on this? Me as the dad, my first responsibility is to get my gun, to get my light, you know, my tactical light, and to walk around inside that. You don't go. Outside in that unless you want to be an idiot. You stay in the house and you check stuff from inside the house, and if there's anything going on, you call nine one one. If they try to breach the perimeter, you shoot them. But there's one person in this building that I'm sitting right out of my house. There's one person in this building that is going in first if somebody's breaking into my house, and that's me. I am the sacrificial all myself, a sacrificial landfast here. In Christmas time. But I'm a sacrificial dude who runs towards the bad stuff. Does that make me a hero or does that make me a dad? Doing what you expect a dad to do. I suppose this is as hard as about societal expectations. You know, stories are powerful. They help us make sense of things, to understand experiences. Stories connect us to the people of our past while transcending generations. They help us process the meaning of life, and our stories are told through images and videos. I'm not ripping on her family. I'm very happy that she's survived, and I'm glad that her child or young child for you, old Grayson face's long recovery. And there's a GoFundMe and it's on my x feed. If you want to donate to the family like I did earlier today, just go to my Twitter feed x feed at Chris Crocshow c hriskre okay, but the idea here on WBTV that they're calling her a hero. Ayrdale County mom hailed a hero after rescuing her children from not burning house fire. So I would just say this, my gosh, have we gotten so so are we so far gone from where we used to be that we have to call a mother who does what we expect her to do. I'm glad she did. I don't we all grateful. We have? We fallen so far as to society that we literally have to pray somebody for doing what we expect them to do. It's like. The crap when you think about kids aren't going to school. We need to give them rewards for going to school. No, we don't. That's what they're supposed to do. Do we want to get rewards for a child for brushing his teeth? Do you want to give a parent a reward for having your kids show up at school on time? We do want to give a reward for a parent feeding their child. So it is. And then here we can flip it. If she's a hero for rushing in to save her own children in a fire, then what would she be if she didn't go in to save her own children from the fire? I mean, you'd be saying she's a criminal. I would You'd be saying, prosecutor, I would, Well, you know, it's just a little risky answers, although maybe you wouldn't depending on how bad the fire is. But the point being is if she didn't go in to save her own children, I think most of us would be condemning her, at least attacking her for saying, how dare you I think about this? We can contrast this with another story that is in the media a lot, rightfully, so you know, look, as a talk show host, we look at fifty million stories we have to make decisions on what we want to talk about based on our passion, et cetera. And this story we don't have to read through the whole story. We don't have to read every story about everything. We can't. But this story about the six year old in Charlotte, whose parents, whose mother and grandmother and another person are charged with vile sick abuse leading to death. We expect these parents in this case that the girl was found out breathing. They took the child to the hospital. She later died. She was a six year old girl. She was twenty seven pounds. The investigators report that there was a prolonged exposure to urine feces, philled diapers, broken bones, healed ligature scars, burns to her body. Child had up on open wounds throughout her entire body. She was dirtying only weigh twenty seven pounds when she arrived at the hospital. The medical examiner noted the victim appeared to have a healed ligature mark around the right ankle. The left ankle had an open wound which is believed to be a burn. Home, extremely unkempt, strongolder of feces and urine feces in every room, human and animal residents clutter with rats and cockroaches throughout the home. Grandmother charge and I think of those words grandmother. A grandmother is supposed to protect the child, keep them from harm. She's part of the conspiracy or the mistreatment. According to authorities, the mother is expected to treat her child well. These two and one other persons are in custody rightfully, so for insane fellony type abuse? Do we want to give? What? Do you want to call parents? A hero for providing a clean, regular home and a healthy child. Now that's what we expect. So I think we need to really think about why we're calling this woman a hero. And I mean, unless we want to say it's not expected. So that just stuck in my craw boy? Did it? Ever? So Mom is awesome. I'm glad she's alive. I thank god she's alive. I thank god that she's healing and her son is healing. And I pray for this family and I donated to this family, and I would like you to too if you consider it. But dang, dude, you're not a hero. If you go and to save your child from a fire, you're doing what we expect you to do. My gosh, how far have we fallen if we want to do that? Absolutely not no, all right, I want to get to this one. This morning, a video went out on social media and boys it going nuts. If you remember this, Minnesota's Lieutenant governor is a woman named Peggy Flanagan, and if you remember, she was extremely went viral when she had a press conference when Minnesota passed some kind of a law that says, if you want to mutilate genderly, mutilate your child with the transsurgery that's protected, you can do that. And in fact, the law also said, people like you and me can come in from Charlotte or where I'm sitting in Texas and Dallas Fort Worth. We can come from these places. And our children can and can butcher their bodies because they believe they're a woman when they're in a man's body, etc. Where they're a girl when they're a boy's body, et cetera. So the law said two things. Number one, the child can butcher themselves however they want. Number Two, if a child comes from out of state for transgender tourism to wak off their huha or their other chest as a woman, no problem, will let you do that without the parents consent, and we will we will not supply information if the parent is trying to find you in our state when they're when they're doing transgender butchery of the of the child. So that Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flannon in Minnesota wore in his lot, she wore a T shirt that had a knife on it and it said protect trans kids, featured a knife as a threat. Well, then why is she blowing up all over the social media sphere when she's wearing a hi job standing next to a Somali woman I think a Somali man, and she's adoring Islam and the Somali community as she puts a heat job on herself, and next to is this woman who's his job, who's a Muslim woman in the he job, presumably Somalian. She look what she is because she's the woman's talking about smalie and the smiley woman in her job next to her is nodding her head approvingly. Yes, yes, it looks like almost like a hostage video. But no, this is a lieutenant governor who supports butchery and transgender mutilation standing next to an Islamic woman in a hy job and she's wearing one and she starts speaking Islam. Well, this is this is quite the story in just a second with this Lieutenant governor of Minnesota wearing a hit job and what she says and what she stands for. But I want to stop for a second because, as you heard at the bottom of the our news, Mindhill Police Department just had a serious incident. It's breaking news. It'll continue to develop and we'll talk about it as it happens. But this is what Minhill Police Department just sent out in the media release. On December twenty sixth, at approximately ten forty seven am, Mindhill Police officers responded to edible arrangements located at you know, Matthews, Minhill Road. I'm not going to get the address. What does it matter. Regarding a child custody exchange. During the interaction, the male subject produced a firearm. An exchange of gunfire occurred. Two Mindhill Police officers were struck. Both officers are in critical condition. So few things here. Number one, the most deadly call that any police officer can get. The number one call with the highest risk is family violence. Excuse me, is domestic disturbance. Domestic violence, domestic disturbance. That is a number one call that can lead to an officer being killed. And so that's number one, number two. At any moment, an officer could be on the line to save the life or save somebody else's life from any moment. That is why there is no such thing. Always correct somebody when they say a routine traffic stop. There is no such thing as a routine traffic stop. There is no such thing as a routine call for domestic disturbance, et cetera. And there is no such thing as a routine call on a shoplifting charge. For example, there is. A case that happened in Canton, Ohio at a walmart. Two people were busted for shoplifting. The loss prevention folk called the police. I don't know if they have a police officer they are stationed at the walmart or they called the police. But the lost prevention guy is in the Actually he's in the back room with these two people. They're in their lower twenties, twenty two to twenty three something like that. A man and a woman. They're sitting down on the bench in the walmart you know, security office, and a police officer comes in. The police officer does not pat down and search these two, but they ask him, did you is that everything in your pockets? Everything's out of your pockets? Okay, because it's a quote unquote routine shoplifting case. Again, there's no such thing as that. That's why I say this. Here's what happens. I'm going to play it for you. Here's what happens as the two people to adults, one man, one woman, woman sitting down on a bench in a shoplifting you know, lost prevention office and the lost prevention guys on the left on the right of the cop trying to write this up, you know, et cetera, and then this happens. You're watched you work over, put it in the bag? Off the show? No, no, no, no. There now. All right, what happened there? It's a quote unquote routine shoplifting situation. As they're writing up the ticket and everything, andre writing up the whatever the charge, this twenty three or twenty four year old man pulls out a gun, aims it at the cop. All on point planks is a tiny loss prevention office and tries to kill the cop. He pulls the trigger, but it doesn't go off. At the same time, the cop lunges to the right where he's kind of you know, hidden it for a second. Then he pops back up immediately, like within a second. It's not like he's hiding forever. It's just a split second. He pops back in with his gun aimed at the perpetrator of the suspect, and the lost prevention guy jumped in and shoved the handgun down to you know, to the bench where he was sitting. They lost prevention of the police officer show reholsters his weapon, jumps in, knees this sob right in the chest and then shoves his face down and then throws him to the ground, puts the cuffs on. But the cop was on a. Routine quote on quote. Shoplifting charge, no big deal, and would have paid for it with his life at almost point blank range from a thug who had a gun on him that didn't that wasn't checked. There is no such thing as a routine shop lifting case. There is no such thing as a routine a domestic disturbance call. None of them excuse me. There's no such thing also as a routine traffic stop. And that's why the cops do what they do, and that's why you may not like it, but that's why they will draw down on somebody on a traffic stop. Sometimes, that's why they might shatter a window and drag him out of the car, because you don't know who or what you know. As I'm talking right now to you, I'm thinking about it with these Afghan people brought into our country by Joe Biden one hundred thousand and eighty thousand whatever, no no checks, no background checks, you can't. There ain't no background check to check in Afghanistan, which is worse than their world country, truthfully, So we let it all his people, many of whom hate Jews, hate America, hate us. And then we're shocked that they're murdering our National guardsmen in the streets of DC were shocked that they're pulling a gun and trying to kill cops on a traffic stop in Arlington, Virginia. So I'm thinking about that case where a miserable Afghan national was brought in here by Joe Biden, Joe and everybody else breaking their arms, patting themselves on the back for how awesome they are for letting this guy into the country. This guy starts yelling about racism and this and that, and then he has a handgun illegally on his passenger side. He picks it up and tries to kill the cops on the traffic stop. Routine traffic stop. They shot and killed that bleepity beleep and he took a dirt nap. You don't know what's going on in these things. And that is why our police officers do what they do. And the one time they let their guard down, they're dead. They can be dead one more quick one. This one is played for cops and training, at least in Texas where I am. This is a state trooper pulling over an elderly man seventy two years old, elderly man in some kind of a I don't know, kind of a sporty car, wearing his cowboy hat. What the state. Trooper didn't know is that elderly man had told his friends recently that he is sick of the cops and next time they get pulled over, he's going to shoot him and kill him. So the cops sees. This kind gentle old man pulls him over on the highway just outside of Austin, Texas, takes his license and does what they always do, going back to your squad car, the state police squad car. And while his back is turned to that guy, that guy steps out. Looks great. Then he reaches down and pulls out a rifle and shoots and kills a state trooper on the side of a highway, a genteel, elderly man. Oh, he's grandpa. He's not gonna do anything, are you doing? Oh? Come on, of course you cantinue your back on him. For a second. Well, that trooper died. So it doesn't matter if you're an elderly white guy like that was, doesn't matter if you're a twenty three year old white guy like this guy in Kn'ton, Ohio. Was. Doesn't matter what your collor what's your race is the moment they don't do what they're taught to do is the moment they can die. And that's why they do what they do. I say that if you're just joining us as I'm thinking a lot with you, as we have a new report this morning in min Hill, Minhill Police Department, you know, saying that they responded to a location on Matthews Minhill Road regarding child custody exchange. During the interaction, the mail prows of firearm exchange of gunfire occur. Two minn Hill Police officers were struck. Both officers in critical condition. The suspect was shot in his deceased where he belongs to, durting that that's my I added that part. Pray for our two officers. They are quote in critical condition. It does not matter what suburb, what small town, what county where they're at, whether whether they're with CMPD or some you know MPD or MHPD. I guess you'd say for min Hill police, it does not matter. A moment may come where they pay with their life or take somebody's life because they righteously need to do that very important stuff. So please pray for those too, Mintil police officers right now. All right, if you're listening to this show, you know I try to keep up with all sorts of current events, and I know you do too, And you've probably heard me say get your news from multiple sources. So we have the Minnesota Lieutenant Governor Panty Flanagan Peggy Flannagan, excuse me, and she is the same far leftist who did a press conference about the bill they passed that allowed transgender kids to get butchered, saying they're transgender, they're trapped in the wrong body, you know, the wrong sex. And also a lot of for transgender tourism, for Miners to come get transgender surgery Minnesota without their parents' knowledge. No problem will protect you, and we will not cooperate if the police or law enforcement get involved. Come butcher your child here or the child can do without you. So that was a press conference she was holding, and when she was holding that, she was wearing a shirt that said protect trans Kids and it featured a knife on it as a threat. Now comes the same Lieutenant governor today and she is featured in a hy job standing next to a Muslim Somali woman in hijab who is nodding approvingly as she's speaking. Let's hear what the Lieutenant governor said today on this now very viral post. Sally Malikum, my name's Peggy Flanagan. I am the Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota, and I'm really honored and humbled to be here with all of you today. I am incredibly clear that the Somali community is part of the fabric of the state of Minnesota. I think about my friendship with Nimko. We've been friends for almost twenty five years, and when I think of being part of Minnesota and growing up here, the Somali community has always been a part of my Minnesota. So I want to just encourage the community to know that we're with you, We've got your back. I am here shopping today, and just encourage other folks to show up, support our Somali businesses, support our immigrant neighbors. And I know that things are scary right now, and just know that there are more people who are looking out for you. There are more people who are here to support you. Than you know. I will continue to stand with the Somali community, to be with you and to do all I can to return the friendship and community that the Somali community has shown me. Thank you so much. And this woman who is Somali is nodding next to her wearing her hey job, This lieutenant governor wearing that speaking Arabic Aslama leakum, et cetera. Now it's so funny because I want one person tweeted this out. The humiliation, the humiliation is the point humiliating, the humiliating This woman, well, she's humiliating herself and bowing to Islam and bowing to Somali folk who in their community, not every SIMI, he's a krook. Obviously, but in their community has done unbelievable amounts of fraud, unimaginable amounts of fraud, to the point where they're saying it could be as much as nine billion at b as in boy billion, nine billion dollars just from one state, mostly Somalians who have done this, Bilking of the State, you have another I'm gonna play this for you coming up next. I'll play a little bit for you now. Actually here this is journalist Nick Shirley, and he is going he went to Minnesota, and he was going to all these daycare places that have builled tons and tons of money to the state and the federal government for daycare. Let me read a little set up here. This is Nick Shirley confronting more smally fraudulent quote unquote daycares in Minnesota. Somali start yelling at him. The windows are blocked out. The Somali's quote don't know where the kids are. They each got millions of dollars. So this guy's going to every single Somali owned daycare that's getting millions of dollars from our governments from there, from Minnesota and presumably the US government. And so he's going door to door at each one of these childcare places, knocking and asking if he can bring his son in there to register a son, and where are the kids? Here we go, if I can take it off of Hold on one second, take it off of this we go. Okay, here we go. Orders. I knocked on the door, and to my surprise, somebody actually answered door. Hello, can we speak? I would like to check a child in the daycare? Can I speak to a manager? Where can I get paperwork to file for my son? I wanted to put my son, Joey in daycare. Basically, he goes to so many and none of them have children, and them none of them are apparently opened, and they're all bilking the government proportedly of millions and millions of dollars. And here's the lieutenant governor. And here's what's really important, really important to know.
