Hoping that Pete is enjoying his time rebooting you know, Peak Calendar five point zero or whatever, getting his upgrades. That's all we do, is humans, isn't it. We gain experience through our mistakes. We gain experience from time. We pay for it with our mortality a little bit. And Pete's just done a stellar job. I mean, it's an honor know him. He's he's, uh, you know, just an incredible guy, very very very great guy. Wbt's a fantastic station. Now went, We spent the first hour really completely sidetracked by Tom tilli Is setting off a political hand grenade on CNN with Jake Tapper. There's so many aspects about this It's one of those when you know, if you were to see flying saucerers outside your window and they just kind of stuck around for a while, and you told your friends they look and it didn't make sense where they're from where they do, and I have no idea what's going on here. That's what it is. There's really no logical exploit. There is one logical explanation. But it would make Tillis look very petty. And I don't want to believe he's that petty, which is he just really hates Trump and so this is revenge in his mind. It would make his It would make him look small to say, oh, eh, well, I'm not running for re elections. Scrow y'all. Trump's terrible people around him are morons, and I'm gonna scortch the earth, and oh the hell with my background and everything I've accomplished. This is it. I'm going to set the record straight and let everybody listen to meet. Now, that would make some kind of warped sense. You know. It's kind of like what color is the sky in your world? I don't know, I don't get it, but it makes no sense. Now. I wanted to talk about the other the folks on the other side that are moonbat wackadoof you. Sandwich is short of a full picnic who's ors don't row in the same direction. There are plenty of those. Elevator doesn't go to the top floor. Pick your euphemism, whatever, your analogy. Analogy analogy much better. And so there's just a cacophony of voices from the left that are beyond reasonable and don't make sense. And one of them is Jasmine Crockett. I love Jasmine Crockett. Now it's not the kind of affection you would have for a family member, well unless the ones that you don't like the family reunion. But it's kind of the affection, you know, the term of endearment you reserve for people because you never know what the hell they're going to say. She is that person and what comes out is just unfathomably amazing. And so I want to play for you a little of miss Crockett's attempt to be rational and this is her, this is her every day, Jasmine Crockett, Texas. She's one of the new voices of the political left. You have concerns about the president's health and his nottal acuity, no. No, no, no, no, I had none. Now granted I didn't see Joe Biden every single day, but I did have an opportunity to interact with the president. I never had a concern. If there's anyone that I am concerned about their mental acuity, it is the current occupant. Helped you love her, she just and the rest of that interview she was unhinged. And so she had come out of a hearing where the former president's doctor, all five foot and nothing inches of him, comes out and after I think he took the he pled the fifth like forty one times, some ridiculous number of times. Now, what his lawyers tried to say is when he came out of the hearing, that the the president's the ex president's doctor was trying not to pierce the veil of doctor client privilege. And that's all well and good. If you said, hey, what kind of health conditions the president have? Sorry, can't discuss that. What did the president say to you? Sorry, can't discuss that. Those are all off limits? You just can't. I completely concur But that's not what he took the fifth on the questions like were you ever pressured to say things about the president from other people, and he pled the fifth. Did you ever lie about the president self? Did you ever lie about it? He pled the fifth? Those were easy. He could have just said no, I wasn't pressured, but he pled the fifth. Now, now I agree with people who say, hey, when you plead the fifth, that's not necessarily indicative of guilt. But it also adds no clarity and it does nothing to make people feel more confidence. So when Jasmine Crockett comes out of that hearing and says, oh, I never had any concerns. I got concerns about current guy in the White House. And again I just went through right before this, the president's clarity, the current president's clarity on issues, whether you agree with him or not, there's a clarity of vision here. So that's where it is. It is, you know, it's kind of a mic drop moment for it. That's his That's what it is. And now I'm getting text messages from folks who served with Tillis in the House saying he was I'm this is not a personal airing of grievances for me. This is not a festivus moment, for lack of a better phrase, it is it is just an observation about the way Tillis is conducting himself. Now, now the problem I would have with this if this is an expression of the real Tom Tillis kind of like, you know, the real slim shady please stand up? Is this the real Tom Tillis? And if it is, then he has shown a remarkable degree of pettiness. And what others have said behind the scenes, you heard the caller earlier. I've got people texting me he is that petty. I don't want to believe that. I don't want to believe it. That doesn't mean it's not true. You know, I love a great conspiracy, and the problem with a lot of conspiracies is, no matter what truth comes out about them, it doesn't add any it doesn't change the people's belief in the conspiracy. And no matter what truth comes out about Tillis, now it's he can't unring this bell. So I don't know why I did it. Now, before I went to the break, I was talking about where as you look toward the twenty twenty six elections, what will the Democrats? What will be? It can be your opinion too. I'm not pretending that I have some kind of magic formulare. We do know it appears more and more from fact after fact after fact that Roy Cooper will be running for that Senate seat. Now, my guess is that the people around Cooper have said it's a pretty easy win for him. I don't think that's true unless they know something or that they're ounting on the public turning against President Trump. Now, the problem with this is that the president has won three elections in a row in this state. The demographics of the state from a voter registration standpoint, are trending away from Democrats and towards Republicans. It's very strong on the unaffiliated, unaffiliated being the largest group of voters in the state. I think both parties should be concerned about that. What are you guys doing to get those Those folks are leaving you both, But the Republicans are still growing. So I don't know what facts Roy Cooper's looking at, and I don't know what the issue the issue he would because when he runs, what he's going to do is open himself up to the egregious imprisonment of North Carolina during COVID and the unbelievable policies that set back education that hurt our economy that were over the top and not necessarily protective. Now he may have answers for that. I don't know, but that will be front and center about Cooper should he choose to run for that Senate seat. I don't know that this is a good move for him. I don't know, but we'll see. I mean, it's a light year from now, so I think what the Democrats at this point are counting on is something about Trump's gonna inpload. It hasn't happened yet, but it's going to. I mean, maybe they're counting on another pandemic. I don't know, but right now the president's on a roll. I will say this. The one the one landmine that I think the president has absolutely in the midst of seeing it blow up in slow motion is the Jeffrey Epstein situation. We'll talk about more of that on the other side of the break. There's much much more to go, all. Right, If you're listening to this show, you know I try to keep up with all sorts of current events, and I know you do too, And you've probably heard me say get your news from multiple sources. Storms might be lurking, so be aware, say to now as we move forward. I'm not really entirely sure. I you know, I'm searching the depths of my gray matter to find out a way to introduce this next caller. But you have heard this call I don't know. Oh see, And then was there now being told he took off. I didn't know whether to say, you know, hey, it's a fake Tillis, or you know, or but it's a caller that you would have been familiar with. Hopefully he will call back, because callers are always welcome seven oh four, five, seven oh eleven ten, the caller number, or the text line if you if you're you want your expression to be heard in some way, but you don't want to be on the air, you can certainly text it and we will get that out to the public, or at least you'll get a comment from me on it to acknowledge we received it, regardless of what it might say. Now, before we went at the very end of last hour, I know we focused a predominant amount of time on Tom Tillis because Tillis went all scorched earth. I mean, he he Adam Kinsingert himself. He just I don't know. At some point he'll probably add some levity to that. Maybe he'll have a I don't know, I don't know where he goes from here. It's kind of interesting. He's not that old, you know, he's he's got but he had so much political capital and he just threw it away. It's one of those things you just don't understand. Why, why did you do that? That didn't who did it endear you too? Did you get something out of it? I'm just being forth right. No, you're not. You had the opportunity to be forthright when Trump got reelected or before you got reelected, but you didn't. And now you're saying there are a bunch of rank amateurs up there because you're the guy that knows everything. I guess. But this still regardless till us, notwithstanding the issues for Democrats moving forward, they've got about a you know, depending on whose survey, their approval rating is terrible right now. They're on the wrong side of so many issues. But worse is that they don't have a vision. You know, they the acknowledgement that there's a problem at the border. They didn't. So when they say they want immigration reform, where have you been? You know, they would say, well, there was a there was a bill. There were Republicans that they had one and Trump killed it. Okay, we'll bring the b if you guys think it's a great bill, bring it back. Tell us, tell the American public. Here's what we think. Here's what we think of Medicaid and what needs to be done with it. Here's what we think about Social security and what needs to be done with Here's what needs to be done about entitlements, Here's what needs to be done about government spending. Because I'll guarantee you right now, the American public. You can yell screen cuts, global climate change, earth ending, all of that, but you guys are now we're at a point in American life where fiscal integrity apparently is an issue. It is an issue that the American public knows. There's not an infinite checkbook. The American public knows, the ATM machines out of funds. The American public knows. So when Democrats come forth with an issue, how are you going to pay for it? How are you going to pay for Because the Inflation Reduction Act was a dismal failure. It just printed money, ran inflation through the roof. It was a dismal failure. Obamacare, we can at least have a debate that it wasn't the gray it wasn't a great plan. It was it has survived because once a massive government program is put in place, you can't get rid of it. That's why it's lingered on and survived, not because it's great. Cost of medical care continues to escalate. It's a mess. So where Democrats gonna hang their hats now? James Carver will say, where are the worlds who solved race? We're the worldes who solved the crazy Cajun? He says, all sorts of things. We have a lot to be proud of. We have a lot to be proud of. What is it moving forward? I don't disagree. So we've got I've got to get this name right. I want to Bane Bain. Welcome to the show. Hello, got a question? Got a question? Do you think that Tillis is positioning himself to partner with Elon Musk? You know, that would indicate that Tillis is really a team player, and I don't that would be interesting. I mean, he I doubt it though, I just don't. It didn't work out. The appeal didn't work out for Kinsinger, it didn't work out for Liz Cheney. I haven't seen those people jump in with the Musk. I still think the Musk Trump thing could possibly come back together. I think these are and I think it's more of a Musk problem than it is a Trump problem right now because Trump's words have been kind of measured. He didn't get rid of the Tesla. He kind of left the door open. And and this issue with Musk is more in line with Rand Paul. I haven't heard Musk just run President Trump over with his staff, and that's what Tillis did. So I don't know, and I didn't hear Musk opposed. You know, hegset the way Tillis wants to. So I don't know. But you know what, wouldn't no, go ahead, I'm listening. No, you wouldn't. You wouldn't say this right from the start because every story has a certain political life to it, and this would be way early to partner up with Musk. But if Musk said, listen, I need a guy on the inside and we're just going to slowly work this relationship. I'll tell you what I know from my Doge days. You tell me what you know from your days, and and let's see if we can put something together that will be significant. And then maybe even if it doesn't get together, they pull back together with Trump. I mean, even going with Jake Tapper might be let's just go see who's out there of the same mind. You know, I appreciate the pragmatism. I like it. Actually, you know, I like your pragmatism here. I think it's it's reasoned. I don't think you're you're out of your gord for saying these things. I would say. My take on Musk is he really is a loan writer kind of guy. He's that's the way is now. The other problem is, I haven't seen Tillis be an Elon Doze supporter that much. You know, Tillis kind of avoided that. He could have jumped on board and said these are great, we need to do these cuts. But Tillis is a Medicaid expansion champion. He was a Medicaid expansion champion for North Carolina. He's you know, in the Senate, he has been that way. His big concern right now is Medicaid. I think he's iometrically opposed. I think Tillis wants more spending while Musk wants less. But it would I don't know. I mean, I would never put anything past elon with respect to what the heck he's going to do politically, I just don't know, you know, that's he's gonna at some point. He's gonna have to have a base beyond just the people that are cheering him. He's gonna have to have legitimate political candidates that rise to the occasion, and Tillis would be one of them. But where's Tillis's base though in North Carolina? In your opinion? Oh gosh, I don't know. I'm like you tell me, I don't know either. That's all he kind of just he threw the Republicans and Trump supporters under the bus. The Democrats he didn't care for. I don't know, but I appreciate the call, and I appreciate the ideas. That's always a great thing to hear. Thanks, so thank you for the call you got it. Appreciate you listening. Man. I love these calls. And I've still got a form remember of the House say, you know, hey, Tillis is all about Tillis. He's a wounded beet slashing out because anyone dares not to bow down to it. Maybe, but why would you be one of fifty if you wanted to, or one of one hundred in the Senate. He's one of one hundred up there, and I don't know. It's gonna be interesting to see how how he works with people moving forward in the in the Senate. I don't know. Here's a great idea. Just past the halfway point on the peak calendar radio show Chat Adams your guesto sitting in for Pete having a blast. As always, we spend a preponderance of time talking about tell us a little bit of the time talking about where do the Democrats go from here? And I will get the conspiracy, I will get to the pambante at Epstein situation, because that one the But let's just go to the Democrats first. And this is mainly for your edification, because as the Democrats come back that they're they've basically been in time out. They've been in the corner, or they've been writing I will not shame my party, you know, five hundred times on the blackboard before the class is dismissed. They're doing whatever it is they're doing it. They will They're not done. They do have a serious identity problem. They are removed from They really bet against make America great. They've tried to shame anybody that wants to make the country great, which is an odd place to be. If you want to run to be an American politician, you can't. How do you run against your own country? And I'm not saying that to be propaganda driven, it's a process. It's how do they find their way back from the defund the police, no voter ID, trans kids, sanctuary city, is, abolish ice, critical race theory, no cash bail men, and women's sports. How do they come back from that being their ticket? How do they come back because those questions have to come up in the course of vetting potential candidates or the party or whatever, especially on the heels of you know, that doesn't even include the Biden cover up. Do you think that was bad? They can't run because you can't run just on we're not Trump, we disagree with him. That's that's not a platform. That's that's just hatred. I mean, it's hard to run just on hatred. It's hard to sustain hatred. It's really you know, you can, but it's hard to bring people to Hey, come to my hate party. Everybody's invited because we all hate insert whatever, and that's just something to ponder, to cogitate, to think upon, to reflect upon. You know, we can be as persnickety as we want to about the very variety of ideas and ideologies in front of us. But let's look at what they're going to present next year. And that's where the team Trump is on a roll, except for the giant land mind that is the Epstein Files. Now, why do I think that the Epstein files could be problematic for Trump? Beyond the obvious? And it is because a conspiracy theory a cover up that It's not so much like with Nixon. It wasn't the Watergate situation that was a bungle burglary into the DNC at the Watergate hotel. It was the attempt to act like you didn't know about it and the cover up that ensued that made it far worse. So the situation with Epstein. There's a variety of things it could be that would make sense. The problem is you have a conspiracy theory. And the worst thing about a conspiracy theory, whether it's reptilians are running the government, or Roswell or the Antarctic is a giant wall and there's an advanced civilization on the other side of the wall. Whatever the conspiracy theory is, there's a couple of things that add to that complete the conspiracy theory that never allow it to be fully believed. And one, you can't disprove things. So whether it's you know, it's Roswell aliens, we can't disprove that there wasn't an alien spacecraft recovered in nineteen forty seven. We can't. You know, you and I from an anecdotal standpoint, can't disprove the flat Earth. We can, we can prove it scientifically, but it doesn't matter because believers are going to believe what they believe about the flat Earth or Antarctica or I don't know, any Gray's over in Area fifty one or whatever that the Nazis got on a U boat and set up camp in Antarctica. So whatever it is, only affirming evidence is going to be approved and believed. So if somebody finds an obscure mention of something that affirms their belief, that's what they're going to add to it. So if they say, oh, but if we found this thing about Epstein or Galley Maxwell or something else, that's going to affirm the building conspiracy. Now I'm placing the problem with this on the Trump administration right now. It is a problem. It's not going away. The other thing about a conspiracy is any facts to the contrary are dismissed. So if I were to give you a fact and say, okay, he did commit suicide, and here's the tape, Well there's one minute in the tape missing, Well it resets every night at that time. Well, I'm sorry, can't believe you. Well, then you have to believe that the guards at this prison somehow got together, colluded, killed the guy, and then we're able to keep this a secret moving forward. Okay, No that there's no way that these guys aren't paid enough. Well, we need to check their bank accounts. So maybe they got an island to the Caribbean. No matter what you say, it's going to be thrown out. No matter if he did kill himself, which I think it's all probability that he did. Otherwise you got to believe really high level conspiracy, which is, hey, the guards were told to go here, and CI operatives went in and took him out. Something of that nature. Randall, we're going to get to you. Just a second after the break, I promised to stick with us, okay. And the last one is that time always makes the conspiracy stronger. So the longer the Epstein situation goes on, the more difficult it's going to be to prove or disprove whatever it is. The last thing I'll say about it before we take a break we'll come back to that, is that the Trump administration, it's it's entirely possible that he was an asset. You have to wonder why things were dismissed in Florida unless there was. Oh, there's something more to this that has to do with intel and information on foreign adversaries. I don't know, but there's much more there. You know. Stories are powerful. They help us make sense of things, to understand experiences. Visit creative video dot com. Now, Well under the break, we actually a caller was ready to go, so I want I want to get to Randa. Randall's been waiting and I hope he held through the break. So Randall, are you there and welcome to the show. Thank you very much. How you doing today. I'm fantastic, man. Welcome, Thank you for listening. Yeah, I heard you saying, you know that they say some a couple of things about democrats and and and their flaws and all that stuff, which is probably true, and a lot of things that you said. But I tell you the truth, man, Trump has really, really, really messed the Republican Party up this coming up election cycle. But he's just allied to the lied to the constituents, lied to the Uh, the middle class, lied to the poor with this tax with no taxes over time, that's not true. Uh. People would thought people thought they were going to see more on their paychecks. But but they're saying now that that you know, you when you file your taxes at the end of the year, that's when your savings come in. But that's not what people are thinking. People are thinking that they're going to be getting more on that. We can go about weekly checked. And that's just fact. Well, a couple of things, Yeah, the first twenty five I don't you kind of hit a couple of topics there. I don't know that it's going to plan. And first of all, let me say I was questioning what the Democrats want to run on other than anti Trump. Okay, what I said was the topics I listed, they're known for those issues. They're going to have to come up with a vision to present to the American public. This more than just we hate Trump. They're going to have to have a vision for the debt and deficits. They're gonna have to have a vision for the government entitlement programs. They're gonna have to to tell the American public what is they believe, and they've been so tied up with Trump they haven't So I just wanted to correct that one thing. I didn't want to just take it old Chad hates Democrats, No, I want to see what their ideas are. Secondly, the interesting thing about overtime and stuff. Yeah, under the new tax law, workers can deduct up to twelve five hundred dollars in overtime pay and twenty five thousand dollars in reported tips. So yeah, everyone's supposed to fill out a tax return, but you don't pay taxes on tips until later on anyway, especially for cash, so they're going to get to deduct that. So you're right. A lot of it is, Hey, you need to file a return because you're but you're the amount of money you're going to pay to the government is less and will be less. So I don't know. I'm trying to figure out what the lie is because I think there are some issues that are gonna they could potentially hurt the Republicans, but they delayed those, like the cuts in Medicaid don't kick in until after the midterm elections, which would give the Republicans time to correct, fix alter things. But a lot of the other stuff kicks in, the good stuff like the thousand dollars savings for your kids and stuff that kicks in right away. So yeah, but what I'm talking what I'm talking about is kitchen table politics. I'm talking about being able to have more on your check weekly through overtime with no taxes being taken out. That was a lie. That's not happening. And so and so Americans like myself and the rural Americans that overwhelming we voted for Donald Trump. That Trump drivers and factory workers and people like us that work overtime, and and we're expecting that money to be on our checks. But that was the lie that he tells. Groceries and stuff is still high. Inflation is still high. Wait wait wait wait, wait, that's not your way, way wait. Inflation has dropped and continues to drop. And in fact, I talked about this yesterday. Not a one point six percent, which is almost negligible. Groceries have reduced wait wait wait, truth, groceries have come down in price, which is why it's contributing to inflation coming down, So those are facts. They are cheaper. I mean they're coming down in price. So that's good. Gases come down in price. Listen, sir, I don't know if you shop. I don't know if you grow. I shop every week. But let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. You're getting less and you're. Paying more now for what you used to be able to get. I don't know where you shop at, but I'm telling you there groceries are not as low as the whatever you're saying that they are. But the fact is the lie that was told. People are thinking that they are going to get money that they're working for on their checks via the no tax on overtime. That was a lie, and people are. Okay, wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait, I'll let you speak. Now, let me speak. It wasn't a lie because right now, had that not gone into effect, your taxes would go up. It would be one of the largest tax increases, if not the largest ever. So it wasn't a lie. It's it figures into you must file a tax return. So the question for you, wait, wait, wait, wait, I'll let you speak. When you go to file your TEX, you can file it early next year, month of January. You can file it. You're gonna get more money back, and moving forward, you're gonna be able to keep more money. But you can't do it instantly. Companies don't do it. They'll have to do it on your tax returns, and it will make a difference. You will have more money. And when people file those tax returns next year, they're gonna see it. Now. It's not immediate, it's not I don't disagree with you on that, but it's not a lie. It actually does. It is a real policy. It has real consequences. Listen, every economist out there affirms that. Hold on, sir, hold on. Sir, you're talking about something at the end of the year. People are hurting throughout the year, throughout the year. That's what the common man is talking about throughout the year. And that's the lie that he said, no taxes own over time. I don't know how you take that register to the coming man, but to the coming man, that means that, Okay, if I work over time this week, then and I'm not gonna have any taxes on my paycheck or overtime taxes on my paycheck come the following week. That's the common man thinking he has lied to us about that. Now you're talking. Okay, wait wait, wait, wait, wait before you go on, go ahead, okay, go ahead. Do you want to keep going? I'll answer you when you give me a chance. And so and so you're talking about. Yeah, well, at the end of the year, you're gonna be able to do twelve thousand, five hundred dollars. You know some people make over twelve thousand dollars in. Overtime, right, so, so so therefore you're still lying because you're gonna have to pay some taxes on the overtime if you cap it a twelve five. So it's still a lie no matter the way you where you put it. Wait, wait, wait for the show before the common So. We were expecting to have more on our checks through no taxes on overtime weekly or bi weekly or how do we get paid? And I'm telling you now, the Republican Party is gonna pay for Donald Trump's lies for back in that. Okay, So let me ask you a question, would you rather? Would you rather? Because there are two things that I want to deal with. I want to deal with what you call lie and the reality that's on the ground would you rather it have remained what it was? All right? That'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening.
