This episode is presented by Create A Video – According to the timeline provided by NBC News, President Joe Biden and his family decided to publicly lie about not pardoning his son, Hunter, back in June because it would help his re-election chances.

[00:00:28] So to recap, Joe Biden cannot be prosecuted for swiping all those classified documents because he's a doddering old man. And Hunter can't be prosecuted or sentenced because the doddering old man pardoned him. A pattern seems to be emerging.
[00:00:48] Now, I did promise in the last hour that I would provide you with an upside, a silver lining to all of this. And there are actually a couple.
[00:00:58] So first off, Joe Biden will now go down in history as the worst president. His approval numbers are tanking as we speak. There are actual betting markets about this. And it is not pretty at all. Not pretty.
[00:01:21] It's the lie. He has now been exposed as the corrupted liar that he has always been. There is no way to hide it any longer. And this pardon will go down as a more a more egregious pardon than Ford's pardon of Nixon.
[00:01:41] He is now in Nixon territory. Think about that. That's a silver lining. Joe Biden will forever be known for a man, right, who had, you know, such a focus on what his legacy would be.
[00:01:55] I'm the only one who could beat Donald Trump. I beat him. I beat him again, I tell you.
[00:02:00] And now what have you? Your empire of dirt. So that's a silver lining.
[00:02:08] Also. I hope. And maybe I'm wrong on this, but I hope that the Biden crime family story will now be fully written because before this, there was still sort of an incentive structure built around protecting him and the family.
[00:02:31] Now. Not so much. I think that this might provide cover to reporters who are, you know, in the center politically or left leaning, even leftists to dig into the story in a way that they could not or would not do before.
[00:02:54] That's what I hope might happen. And by the way, this gets to another silver lining, which is, you know, the deep state or the blob, which, by the way, I listened to a podcast with Miranda Devine from the New York Post.
[00:03:12] Whilst traveling and the way she's got a British accent. So the way she says the blob.
[00:03:19] Like, I think I like that better than the deep state. Just more fun to say, you know, the blob, but you got to try to do it with a British accent.
[00:03:27] Anyway, it is the deep state is now further delegitimized. It had.
[00:03:35] Well, let me say this. Its grasp is now tenuous.
[00:03:42] In a way that it wasn't before.
[00:03:45] And the people who have defended Joe Biden and by extension, the blob.
[00:03:54] They have no moral authority at all.
[00:03:58] It is gone.
[00:04:00] It is gone.
[00:04:01] You have no way, no, you're in no position to make any kind of arguments.
[00:04:06] They have no moral authority, no standing.
[00:04:11] To look down upon Trump or MAGA or anybody else.
[00:04:17] After doing this.
[00:04:18] So those are three things that I think might be some silver linings.
[00:04:23] Destroyed legacy.
[00:04:26] For Biden.
[00:04:27] And actually a legacy that is more in line with the truth of who he is, who he has been.
[00:04:32] The kind of elected politician he has been.
[00:04:35] I think that is a more accurate legacy now.
[00:04:41] Completely destroyed.
[00:04:44] And maybe somebody can now be empowered to write the Biden crime family story.
[00:04:50] And for and now this story has been written.
[00:04:54] It has been written up by a lot of different authors, but they're perceived.
[00:04:58] If not, they actually are, you know, politically on the right.
[00:05:01] And so they get just ignored and dismissed.
[00:05:05] But maybe now more of this stuff comes out.
[00:05:11] I don't know what happens with Hunter Biden, obviously, if he's going to get called in front of any more.
[00:05:21] Congressional inquiries or or committees that are investigating this stuff, because we as Americans do have a right to know whether or not our president.
[00:05:30] And while he was vice president as well, whether he he was compromised, whether that family was compromised, whether they still are.
[00:05:39] You know, Joe Biden's brother, Jim, I expect him to get a pardon next.
[00:05:44] I would not be surprised if every single member of the Biden family gets a pardon.
[00:05:51] They kind of have to at this point.
[00:05:54] During the top of the hour newscast.
[00:05:57] The anchor, Brandon Dixon, played a clip from U.S.
[00:06:01] Senator Tom Cotton, who pointed out precisely what I said earlier, which is but he did it in a better way.
[00:06:08] Which was that the 11 year window.
[00:06:11] Is precisely the tell.
[00:06:15] Well, if the gun charge was 2018 and the the the tax evasion or the FARA stuff was prior to that, like why and that statute of limitations ran out on that.
[00:06:27] So you can't even prosecute him on that.
[00:06:28] The tax evasion he'd already pleaded guilty to.
[00:06:31] What?
[00:06:32] OK, so you're going to pardon him for the two guilty cases.
[00:06:36] Gun charge and tax evasion.
[00:06:39] Why would you then sort of like.
[00:06:43] Predate the thing back to 2014, four years before any of these crimes, why would you do that?
[00:06:49] Well, you do that because, you know, precisely when the crime started, you know, when the criminal activity began.
[00:06:56] And that has the potential.
[00:06:59] To catch many Biden family members up in its net.
[00:07:04] So that's what he's trying to prevent from happening.
[00:07:08] Jonathan Turley.
[00:07:11] Georgetown law professor guy, I think he's actually now at George Washington, but I forget Jonathan Turley, Democrat.
[00:07:16] He said with this pardon, Joe Biden shredded any residue of veracity and credibility as president.
[00:07:25] Here is a clip.
[00:07:27] This just moved.
[00:07:28] This was a press gaggle.
[00:07:30] Audio only.
[00:07:31] So no video.
[00:07:31] I believe they are.
[00:07:35] Yeah.
[00:07:36] Press secretary, Corrine Jean-Pierre and John Kirby.
[00:07:41] Aboard Air Force One.
[00:07:44] And listen to this line of questioning.
[00:07:47] He's saying his own justice department is broken.
[00:07:50] He believes he's he believes in the justice department.
[00:07:54] He believes that there was saying all that.
[00:07:56] He believes in the justice department.
[00:07:58] This is his words.
[00:07:59] He said this.
[00:08:00] This is the president saying it's infected with politics.
[00:08:03] I said I would not interfere with the justice department decision making.
[00:08:07] I kept my word.
[00:08:08] Even as I have watched my son being selectively an unfair prosecutor.
[00:08:11] So how deep is the rot?
[00:08:13] How many selective prosecutions are there at the DOJ?
[00:08:16] What I can speak to is this particular case, which is Hunter Biden, who has the last name of the president.
[00:08:24] Do you hear that line of questioning?
[00:08:26] Reporters are pretty hacked off, it seems.
[00:08:32] Joe Biden's statement says, I believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice.
[00:08:46] So how how deep is the infection?
[00:08:50] There's a writer.
[00:08:51] I quote him pretty frequently.
[00:08:52] His name is Sonny Wright.
[00:08:53] He says on his way out the door.
[00:08:56] This is in a tweet on his way out the door to protect his corrupt family from the consequences of their corruption.
[00:09:03] Joe Biden confirmed that his Department of Justice is corrupted and engages in selective prosecutions.
[00:09:11] That's what he said.
[00:09:13] That's what Joe Biden said.
[00:09:16] Which is precisely what the right has been alleging.
[00:09:20] But Joe Biden thinks it's against his kid.
[00:09:23] So he has to he has to burn down the credibility of himself, his legacy, but also the DOJ in order to protect the grift, the corruption.
[00:09:35] Jerry Dunleavy.
[00:09:37] He's a former senior investigator for the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
[00:09:41] He's a former DOJ reporter for the Washington Examiner.
[00:09:44] He said Hunter Biden committed and was convicted of felony tax evasion crimes and felony gun crimes.
[00:09:51] Those convictions are now gone.
[00:09:53] But Joe has also pardoned Hunter for all other crimes which he may have committed from 2014 through today.
[00:10:01] So foreign lobbying, etc.
[00:10:04] Cannot be prosecuted now.
[00:10:06] Now, I am curious to see if Democrats are going to be forced to play D&D on this.
[00:10:14] Defend and disavow.
[00:10:16] Everyone's favorite game to play against Republicans.
[00:10:18] When some Republican gets caught doing something or saying something, reporters rush to stick microphones in the faces of other Republicans and ask them, do you defend this?
[00:10:28] Do you disavow this?
[00:10:31] Democrats are going to have to have some answers.
[00:10:35] I have no advice to give you.
[00:10:37] You're on your own.
[00:10:38] For over a month now, I have been reminding you to preserve your precious photos and slides, films, and tapes with Creative Video based in Mint Hill.

[00:11:47] Here's a message from Russ.
[00:11:49] I have been shouting into the void about how terrible a person and politician Biden is for decades, but even I am stunned that he was able to surpass both Nixon and Carter on the list of worst presidents.
[00:12:03] It is quite the achievement.
[00:12:06] A message from Duke Powers, not affiliated with Duke Energy Corporation.
[00:12:10] Pete, never underestimate the level of corruption within the Biden family.
[00:12:15] It would be easy to believe Hunter's audacity, him telling Pop, you get me the exclusive pardon or I tell it all.
[00:12:24] Love your show, Pete.
[00:12:25] Well, here's the other thing.
[00:12:26] How do we know that it was actually Joe Biden that did it?
[00:12:32] Seriously.
[00:12:33] Like, is it, by the way, hang on a second.
[00:12:35] Hang on.
[00:12:37] Let me go over it.
[00:12:38] NBC News.
[00:12:41] Here it is.
[00:12:42] This was their exclusive story.
[00:12:45] They broke the first to report about the pardon.
[00:12:48] And get this.
[00:12:49] The president has discussed pardoning his son with some of his closest aides, at least since Hunter Biden's conviction in June, said two people with direct knowledge of the discussions about the matter.
[00:13:03] They said it was decided at the time that he would publicly say he would not pardon his son, even though doing so remained on the table.
[00:13:13] The president has discussed pardoning his son since June.
[00:13:20] In fact, here it was.
[00:13:23] With regard to the question regarding the family, I'm extremely proud of my son, Hunter.
[00:13:29] He has overcome an addiction.
[00:13:30] He is he's one of the brightest, most decent men I know.
[00:13:35] And I am satisfied that I'm not going to do anything.
[00:13:39] I said I said I'd buy the jury decision.
[00:13:42] I will do that and I will not pardon him.
[00:13:45] That was June.
[00:13:47] Yet they had decided at that time he would publicly say he would not pardon his son, even though doing so remained on the table.
[00:13:56] And that this decision.
[00:14:00] Where is it that they they huddled up at the president's.
[00:14:06] Was this it wasn't Kenneth Bunkport?
[00:14:13] Yeah, they did it after like a powwow with the family over the weekend.
[00:14:18] For Thanksgiving.
[00:14:19] And I suspect they did it now because the timing is such that on December 12th.
[00:14:24] So in 10 days from now, he gets sentenced for his conviction on the federal gun charges.
[00:14:31] And then he's got a December 16th sentencing.
[00:14:35] To the federal tax evasion charges.
[00:14:39] Where.
[00:14:41] He also pleaded guilty.
[00:14:43] A senior White House official told NBC News, which was the first to report on the pardon decision.
[00:14:49] That the president decided over the weekend to grant his son a pardon and begin to inform his senior aides Sunday.
[00:15:00] What do you think that conversation sounded like?
[00:15:03] At the president's retreat.
[00:15:05] At his Thanksgiving Day celebration.
[00:15:07] They're all sitting around chatting.
[00:15:09] And they're like, hey, you know what?
[00:15:11] We're going to need to do this sooner rather than later.
[00:15:14] You've got your trip to Angola.
[00:15:18] You know, you're you're probably not going to be able maybe after your return takes a couple of days to get over the jet lag.
[00:15:26] And then we're getting really close and you don't want to see him, you know, cuffed and let out and put into the orange jumpsuit and all of that.
[00:15:33] Right.
[00:15:34] So let's just go ahead and do this now.
[00:15:38] I've also seen it suggested that this was a big screw you to all of the Democrats that pushed Joe Biden out.
[00:15:47] That doing it now means that they're all going to have to now account for it.
[00:15:54] Right.
[00:15:54] They're all going to have to have comments about it or whatever.
[00:15:58] I'm not so sure about that.
[00:15:59] I think that, again, they knew they were going to do this.
[00:16:02] They've known they were going to do this for half a year.
[00:16:06] So.
[00:16:08] I can't believe every Democrat or at least the leadership was unaware of this, too.
[00:16:12] I knew it was going to happen.
[00:16:14] So how could they not?
[00:16:16] All right.
[00:16:17] Hey, real quick.

[00:16:42] Run the numbers with you.
[00:16:43] Again, that's Pete at the Pete calendar show dot com.
[00:16:47] Also, the legislature's meeting up in Raleigh today.
[00:16:50] They the Senate overrode.
[00:16:52] Yeah.
[00:16:53] So the up in Raleigh, the Senate overrode the governor's veto on the Hurricane Helene relief funding.
[00:17:00] That bill also moves the appointment power of the state board of elections from the governor over to the state auditor.
[00:17:08] We'll get into more details on this stuff.
[00:17:10] Also, it looks like they've gone ahead and passed the resolution in the state Senate calling for an Article five convention of states.
[00:17:18] Yes.
[00:17:19] Yes.
[00:17:19] Yes.
[00:17:20] Um.
[00:17:23] Oh, my goodness.
[00:17:24] The left is very angry at that.
[00:17:27] So.
[00:17:28] Yeah.
[00:17:28] A lot to get to right now.
[00:17:30] Let's get to some phone calls.
[00:17:31] First up is John.
[00:17:33] Welcome to the program, John.
[00:17:35] Hello, Pete.
[00:17:36] Hey, how are you?
[00:17:38] If I was any better, people wouldn't be able to handle me.
[00:17:41] Really?
[00:17:42] Well, we'll be the judge of that, John.
[00:17:44] Let's see.
[00:17:46] I'm in the greatest country on God's feet.
[00:17:48] The most gorgeous and intelligent woman on the planet's put up in me for over 14 years.
[00:17:53] I got a roof over my head, clothes on my back, food in my pantry.
[00:17:56] I'm upright and mobile and nobody's been hostile.
[00:17:59] Today's a good day.
[00:18:00] Mm-hmm.
[00:18:01] Kind of sounds like a little bit of bragging there, John.
[00:18:04] But we'll let it slide.
[00:18:05] It being so close to Thanksgiving.
[00:18:07] When I have a little.
[00:18:08] When I'm this blessed, I can't help but brag.
[00:18:11] No, I hear you.
[00:18:12] And I try to push my good energy out to others because there's too much ugly evil in the world.
[00:18:20] But the reason that I called, this isn't going to be the Hunter Biden pardon is not going to be the last one that we're going to see.
[00:18:28] I think that the only member of the Biden family is not going to receive a pardon is going to be Navy Roberts.
[00:18:37] Well played, sir.
[00:18:38] I don't even know if she's related to them.
[00:18:41] Is she?
[00:18:41] I can't tell.
[00:18:42] They didn't hang any stockings over the fireplace this year.
[00:18:46] So I don't know if they had formerly recognized Navy as a granddaughter or not.
[00:18:50] But now that's, it's possible.
[00:18:54] Conservative media did bully him into finally saying, yes, this is my granddaughter a couple years ago.
[00:18:59] But after that, yeah, she's been relegated to Dark Heart Island.
[00:19:06] Yeah.
[00:19:07] Well, they would hang the stockings every year at Christmas until the conservatives bullied him into acknowledging her existence.
[00:19:15] And then this year they did not hang stockings.
[00:19:17] So, or last year they did not hang stockings.
[00:19:20] So I don't know if the two issues are connected, but I would say so.
[00:19:24] John, I appreciate the call, sir.
[00:19:25] Thanks.
[00:19:26] From John to Ron.
[00:19:27] Hello, Ron.
[00:19:29] Welcome to the program, sir.
[00:19:30] How are you?
[00:19:31] I'm good.
[00:19:31] Thanks.
[00:19:32] How are you?
[00:19:32] I'm good.
[00:19:33] What's going on?
[00:19:34] Well, I really appreciate your reporting on the Biden crime family today.
[00:19:41] Great stuff.
[00:19:42] And you mentioned that there have been several people who kind of wrote a complete story or history or whatever you want to call it about them.
[00:19:52] Could you point me in the right direction to get some of that information?
[00:19:57] So, yeah, there's a couple.
[00:19:58] I think Molly Hemingway did a book and Peter Schweitzer did a book.
[00:20:05] Because also, remember, this ties into the Steele dossier stuff.
[00:20:10] This is all going to come back again with the Kash Patel nomination also.
[00:20:14] So you could also, if you go to website, thepetecalendershow.com and run a search, maybe with a tag of like Burisma or something,
[00:20:28] you'll be able to find the podcast episodes going back years detailing the developments as they were occurring.
[00:20:37] Because we've been covering the Burisma stuff a lot.
[00:20:40] So just off the top of my head, I want to say Schweitzer and Hemingway, but I know there are others.
[00:20:46] Well, I think Kash Patel actually wrote a book, too, that may cover some of this stuff also.
[00:20:50] So.
[00:20:51] Okay.
[00:20:52] Well, great.
[00:20:53] Okay.
[00:20:54] Appreciate the information.
[00:20:54] Yes, sir.
[00:20:55] And keep up the good work.
[00:20:56] Thank you, sir.
[00:20:57] Appreciate the call, Ron.
[00:20:58] I mean, okay, yes.
[00:20:59] Blatant, shameless plug there for my own website.
[00:21:02] True, but there have been several, and I don't know them all off.
[00:21:08] I don't know the names of the books off the top of my head, but there have been several.
[00:21:12] And I've done some bits on like some excerpts and stuff.
[00:21:16] I've not read their books, but I've read excerpts that have been published.
[00:21:21] I've read their interviews and other writings.
[00:21:23] So pretty sure those three cover.
[00:21:27] I'm trying to, there may be, eh, I don't want to say because I may be wrong on it.
[00:21:33] So get this on the timing.
[00:21:36] I mentioned earlier in that NBC story where they said that they had been discussing this since June.
[00:21:42] Right.
[00:21:43] Since Biden's conviction in June, the family had been talking about pardoning Hunter Biden.
[00:21:50] And they decided in June that Joe would publicly say no pardon, even though that option still remained on the table.
[00:22:00] But publicly, we're just going to say no.
[00:22:03] What else happened in June?
[00:22:06] Do you remember?
[00:22:09] The presidential debate.
[00:22:13] And then Joe Biden was forced out.
[00:22:17] Which now changes the calculus here, right?
[00:22:22] You now have to accelerate whatever you were wanting to do.
[00:22:26] You've now got to think about it in real terms.
[00:22:30] Right.
[00:22:30] But they're having this discussion before the debate.
[00:22:36] And so while they thought.
[00:22:39] That he was running for reelection, they said, let's keep saying no pardon publicly.
[00:22:45] But as soon as he was forced out.
[00:22:49] Now it's like, OK, yeah, we're going to go ahead and do the part.
[00:22:52] In other words.
[00:22:55] The lie was specifically constructed to enhance his reelection chance.
[00:23:01] That's it.
[00:23:03] That's it.
[00:23:04] He lied for his own personal gain.
[00:23:07] So he could run for reelection.
[00:23:10] Let me get to some more messages.
[00:23:13] This is from Tim.
[00:23:16] Regarding defending the Bidens.
[00:23:18] I wonder if some of your past callers like Bill or Tom or Jackie will call into your show this week.
[00:23:23] I bet they are so proud.
[00:23:27] I have not heard from any of them since the election for some reason.
[00:23:30] It's so weird.
[00:23:34] Jan says, I wish President Biden had not pardoned Hunter.
[00:23:40] One more conspiracy theory shot to hell.
[00:23:48] I don't I think I missed that.
[00:23:50] I think I missed the point there, Jen.
[00:23:51] Scott says, please remind the listeners that when someone is known to be a liar.
[00:23:56] Guess what?
[00:23:57] They do a lot.
[00:24:00] Hmm.
[00:24:01] Is this a trick question?
[00:24:02] No, they lie.
[00:24:04] Right.
[00:24:04] Exactly.
[00:24:04] He is told lies his entire political career and sold out his crackhead son to the most corrupt money laundering country on Earth.
[00:24:11] Forget the alleged showers with his daughter, sniffing little kids and awkward, touchy, grabby stuff.
[00:24:16] He's a creep.
[00:24:17] He's always been a he's always been a creep.
[00:24:20] Oh, and a really bad liar.
[00:24:21] He did a couple of good things, though.
[00:24:23] He ruined the election for Kamala and finally ended the third term of Obama.
[00:24:28] It's true.
[00:24:29] That part is true.
[00:24:31] So.
[00:24:32] Dennis suggests a Biden bumper tune.
[00:24:36] Liar by Three Dog Night.
[00:24:42] I already read that one.
[00:24:43] And OK, so let me go over here now.
[00:24:45] This is Miranda Devine from The New York Post.
[00:24:47] She says we always knew Joe Biden would pardon his son Hunter, no matter how many times he promised that he wouldn't.
[00:24:53] So it is fitting that one of the final acts of this mendacious president before leaving office was to break yet another promise to the American people.
[00:25:02] I think Miranda Devine has a book also about this.
[00:25:06] For caller Ron that was asking earlier.
[00:25:08] I think Miranda Devine wrote a book about this.
[00:25:11] The man who weaponized the justice system against Donald Trump now claims his pampered son was selectively and unfairly prosecuted.
[00:25:21] Quoting Joe Biden, it is clear that Hunter was treated differently, singled out only because he is my son.
[00:25:27] Now, it is true that Hunter was singled out.
[00:25:30] For favorable treatment.
[00:25:34] He and his father were protected by the DOJ, FBI, IRS, State Department and CIA while selling Joe's influence to China, Ukraine, Russia, etc., etc.
[00:25:48] In an amusing twist, the president explained away all of his lies to the American people by lying about his lying.
[00:25:56] Saying he's followed a simple principle.
[00:25:59] Just tell the American people the truth.
[00:26:02] Of course, if you're a liar, then that's a lie too.
[00:26:07] Tony Kinnett, investigative columnist for the Daily Signal and a radio host.
[00:26:12] He lists a few.
[00:26:15] It's transitory inflation.
[00:26:18] Afghanistan was a success.
[00:26:21] The border is secure.
[00:26:24] Robert Herr lied.
[00:26:26] Biden's fine.
[00:26:26] Those videos are cheap fakes.
[00:26:30] Biden had jet lag or Biden had a cold.
[00:26:34] Biden isn't going to be replaced.
[00:26:36] And Biden isn't going to pardon Hunter.
[00:26:41] What else do we got?
[00:26:42] J.P.
[00:26:44] Frary, comms director for the House Ways and Means Committee.
[00:26:48] The politics and precedent are the least troubling parts of this.
[00:26:52] It is a tacit admission that every accusation he and his team made against Trump, like family self-dealing, ignoring the rule of law, putting yourself before the country.
[00:27:04] These things are, in fact, actually true of Joe Biden.
[00:27:08] Congressman Jim Jordan said Democrats said there was nothing to our impeachment inquiry.
[00:27:14] If that's the case, why did Joe Biden just issue Hunter Biden a pardon for the very things we're inquiring about?
[00:27:25] Political math.
[00:27:26] That's the guy's name.
[00:27:27] I didn't pick it.
[00:27:28] It's a it's a tweet.
[00:27:29] He said, here's the thing.
[00:27:31] Biden pardoning his son gives Trump carte blanche to go after everyone else.
[00:27:38] Biden is basically saying, screw everybody else who worked for me, all my contacts, investigate all my corruption, just spare my son.
[00:27:47] And.
[00:27:49] Your terms are acceptable.
[00:27:53] Peter Schweitzer.
[00:27:54] Look for Jim Biden to be pardoned next.
[00:27:57] Remember, the family was still under investigation under FARA, Foreign Agents Registration Act.
[00:28:03] As the pardon comes down, might have implicated Joe.
[00:28:07] But my favorite is that this is all Trump's fault because he nominated Kash Patel.
[00:28:12] So that's why he had to do the pardon because his son's already been convicted.
[00:28:16] Doesn't make any sense.
[00:28:18] All right.
[00:28:18] That'll do it for this episode.
[00:28:20] Thank you so much for listening.
[00:28:21] I could not do the show without your support and the support of the businesses that advertise on the podcast.
[00:28:26] So if you'd like, please support them, too, and tell them you heard it here.
