One of the Jewish men assaulted by leftists in Asheville last month at an anarchist book fair has now received a death threat after two arrests have been made. Plus, Democrats refuse to attend a speech at the US Capitol by the Israeli Prime Minister.

[00:00:28] It is Wednesday at one o'clock. We head west to Asheville. Mark Starling, morning guy, WWNC, my old stomping grounds up there. Welcome back, Mark. How are you, sir?
[00:00:38] I'm well, Pete. How about yourself?
[00:00:40] I am well on this Wednesday at one. I'm trying to make the alliteration thing happen.
[00:00:46] So, okay, so the last couple of weeks we've had you on and you've been giving us sort of progress reports on what happened, I guess this would have been June 29th,
[00:00:56] at the West Asheville Public Library, where they held an event called where the Antifa folks held the Strategic Lessons from the Palestinian Resistance event.
[00:01:09] It was part of a larger book fair that was organized by anarchists, which is kind of off-brand.
[00:01:16] We've already mentioned that. But I saw Carolina Journal's got an update here that David Moritz, one of the three elderly people that were assaulted by the anarchists at the event,
[00:01:35] because two of them were Jewish and they called them Zionists and all this.
[00:01:40] So I see now that it hasn't ended with just the assault. Is that your understanding as well?
[00:01:47] That's correct. So we've got a second person that's been arrested for ethnic intimidation.
[00:01:53] And David got a note. So let me just set the stage for you here real quick.
[00:01:58] I was on my way home from the radio station on Sunday, and I was at a stoplight, get a text message, look down at my phone,
[00:02:05] and it's actually David Moritz. And there is a picture attached to it.
[00:02:09] And as I'm looking at this picture, I'm going, wait a second, what?
[00:02:13] And this picture is of a note that was mailed to his home that says, stop harassing others before it's too late.
[00:02:22] That's it.
[00:02:22] No return address, obviously, just a note.
[00:02:26] Was it handwritten or was it like the classic, like the cutout letters from magazines and stuff?
[00:02:32] No, it was handwritten and it was in a very, very distinctive handwriting style.
[00:02:39] Really?
[00:02:39] Yeah, just really like it's almost like a flattened handwriting style.
[00:02:46] All lowercase letters, words evenly spaced, just obviously a very ominous note.
[00:02:54] You get one of those at your house after you've been through a situation like this.
[00:02:57] You know, you've talked, you've gone on media shows, you've talked about it in the media, you've talked to the news.
[00:03:02] You know, he's obviously feeling quite threatened, to say the least.
[00:03:07] As far as the APD has been notified, obviously, but as far as any movement on it, we don't have, you know, really anything,
[00:03:15] anything more than just the note that's been mailed to him.
[00:03:18] You know, he's saying that he's having to be hypervigilant everywhere he goes.
[00:03:22] Obviously, it was written by an anarchist with the lack of capitalization, right?
[00:03:27] Well, I mean, because following capitalization rules, that would be completely off-brand as well.
[00:03:34] Although they did organize a book club or a book fair, so that was off-brand.
[00:03:39] Now, his name on the envelope is actually written in capital letters.
[00:03:44] Same handwriting style, though.
[00:03:46] So they do know how to use the capitalization, they just chose not to.
[00:03:52] For the threatening letter.
[00:03:54] Correct.
[00:03:56] All right, so you mentioned, though, that they've got another arrest.
[00:03:58] So that's good.
[00:03:59] That's progress, I guess, because last time we spoke, they had charged Michael Solomon Brosinos.
[00:04:07] And now they've...
[00:04:09] So now the second name I see here is Tyler Byrne Hackett Kelly, which I kind of feel like,
[00:04:15] I don't know, like some name privilege going on there.
[00:04:18] Like, they've got four names.
[00:04:19] Some people only have one.
[00:04:21] Like, famous people, they only have one name.
[00:04:23] Like, how does this guy get four names?
[00:04:25] I am highly suspicious of people that have four names.
[00:04:28] Hmm.
[00:04:29] Hmm.
[00:04:30] And facial hair.
[00:04:30] I'll just show you that right now.
[00:04:31] And facial hair.
[00:04:33] Highly, highly suspicious of them.
[00:04:36] But, you know, I mean, look, he fits the image, right?
[00:04:39] He's almost a carbon copy of the first guy.
[00:04:42] Ah.
[00:04:43] So, you know, it's amazing how this whole situation has completely exploded and where we are now.
[00:04:54] Right?
[00:04:54] Obviously, they don't have any idea who sent this letter, because when you mail something
[00:04:58] from Asheville to Asheville, it goes to Greenville first.
[00:05:02] Right.
[00:05:02] So, people may not be aware of this logistical Einsteinism, that if you're mailing a letter
[00:05:11] literally across the street, it has to go first across state lines into Greenville, South
[00:05:17] Carolina, before it then gets routed back to the recipient that lives across the street
[00:05:24] from you.
[00:05:25] Correct.
[00:05:25] Yeah.
[00:05:26] There's no main postal service distribution center in Asheville.
[00:05:30] What with it being only, you know, roughly 90,000 people and a metro area of over 100,000,
[00:05:38] 150,000.
[00:05:39] So, they don't, obviously, they don't need their own, in fact, they used to have a postal
[00:05:44] distribution center.
[00:05:45] And then they closed it, much like the newspaper operation there, too.
[00:05:48] But, um.
[00:05:49] Well, we used to have sidewalks that didn't have poop on them, too.
[00:05:52] But those were the good old days.
[00:05:53] That's true.
[00:05:54] I mean, you can't have everything, man.
[00:05:55] You can't have it all.
[00:05:56] I mean, really asking for big lifts here.
[00:05:59] Yeah.
[00:05:59] Big lifts.
[00:06:00] So, all right.
[00:06:01] So, um, uh, anything else on this before I ask you about, uh, whether you're aware
[00:06:05] of a term or not?
[00:06:07] Um, no.
[00:06:08] I think that's pretty much the update.
[00:06:10] I'm hoping to have David back on the show at some point in time next week.
[00:06:13] So, hopefully, we'll have an update for you next Wednesday as well.
[00:06:16] All right.
[00:06:16] Cool.
[00:06:17] All right.
[00:06:18] You should definitely tailor your interview schedule to, um, uh, to my show.
[00:06:22] Oh, but I'm actually not going to be here next week.
[00:06:25] Oh, okay.
[00:06:26] So, I'm on vacation next week.
[00:06:27] So, uh, so you've got plenty of time to do the interview then.
[00:06:31] I'm not familiar with this term vacation you speak of.
[00:06:34] Oh, stop.
[00:06:34] Stop it.
[00:06:36] I know you have taken a day here or there.
[00:06:38] Um, let me see here.
[00:06:39] Are you aware of this term?
[00:06:41] Uh, hang on a second here.
[00:06:43] It is.
[00:06:44] Yeah.
[00:06:44] Okay.
[00:06:46] Border czar.
[00:06:47] Have you ever heard of this term?
[00:06:48] What is it?
[00:06:49] Border czar.
[00:06:51] Order bar.
[00:06:53] Border czar.
[00:06:54] Like czars, like the Russian leaders.
[00:06:56] Oh, border czar.
[00:06:58] Border czar.
[00:06:58] I have.
[00:06:59] I was under the impression that we actually had a border czar and they just really weren't
[00:07:04] very effective at their job.
[00:07:05] Oh, that's interesting because it's my understanding that no one has been the border czar.
[00:07:12] Huh.
[00:07:13] Yeah.
[00:07:14] So, yeah.
[00:07:15] This term is...
[00:07:16] That's the hardest thing.
[00:07:17] Yeah.
[00:07:18] Because I distinctly remember, like, right out of the gate, this administration, Joe Biden
[00:07:26] said, uh, and the next thing we knew, the vice president was the border czar.
[00:07:32] That does sound familiar.
[00:07:34] Yeah.
[00:07:34] I do understand, though, that she has been to El Paso.
[00:07:39] She didn't land or get out, but she went to El Paso, from how I understand it.
[00:07:45] The border czar?
[00:07:46] The border czar.
[00:07:47] Yeah.
[00:07:48] Never been to the border.
[00:07:49] And who is the border czar?
[00:07:50] Who was the border czar?
[00:07:52] Yeah, Kamala Harris.
[00:07:54] I know.
[00:07:55] Oh, thank God you said her last name.
[00:07:56] Because that's the other thing.
[00:07:57] Are you aware of this?
[00:07:58] You're not allowed to just say her first name?
[00:08:00] You just can't say Kamala?
[00:08:02] No.
[00:08:02] That...
[00:08:03] Dude, what did I just say?
[00:08:04] I just said you can't say it.
[00:08:07] So then...
[00:08:07] And then you just immediately say it as if I didn't just say don't say it.
[00:08:11] You're not allowed to say just her first name.
[00:08:13] Why is that?
[00:08:15] I'm not sure yet.
[00:08:16] I think it has to do with sexism or racism or maybe both.
[00:08:20] I'm not sure.
[00:08:21] But that's the latest...
[00:08:22] Well, that seems strange to me that she can't say Kamala.
[00:08:25] I mean, it's her first name.
[00:08:26] Dude!
[00:08:27] Dude!
[00:08:27] Can I call her Debbie?
[00:08:29] Because that's her middle name.
[00:08:30] I had not seen a rule against that.
[00:08:33] Okay.
[00:08:33] Well, I'm just...
[00:08:34] How about I call her...
[00:08:35] Yeah, Debbie Harris.
[00:08:38] Is that too confusing?
[00:08:40] Well, if you use the last name, as I understand it, that's acceptable.
[00:08:43] And if you want to just use a single name, then you could just call her Harris.
[00:08:46] But you cannot call her the K-word.
[00:08:48] That apparently is verboten.
[00:08:51] But I could call her like a parent yelling at their child, Kamala Debbie.
[00:08:56] I could call her that.
[00:08:57] I think so.
[00:08:58] Or...
[00:08:59] So as long as there's something after it.
[00:09:01] KD.
[00:09:02] There you go.
[00:09:04] KD.
[00:09:04] You could use initials, I think.
[00:09:06] But the only rule that I have seen, and this is just updated today, as I understand it.
[00:09:11] This is a new updated rule.
[00:09:13] Not allowed to just call her by her first name.
[00:09:15] Doing so means you're at least sexist.
[00:09:19] But also maybe kind of racist-y.
[00:09:22] So...
[00:09:22] Huh.
[00:09:23] Right.
[00:09:24] Which was not...
[00:09:24] There's a lot of rules.
[00:09:25] A lot of rules with this campaign.
[00:09:27] There is.
[00:09:28] And I get the feeling like they're going to be changing day-to-day.
[00:09:32] Right.
[00:09:33] Just like this one, because I'm old enough to remember there was another woman who ran for
[00:09:37] president, and we were only supposed to call her by her first name.
[00:09:41] Remember that one?
[00:09:42] Correct.
[00:09:42] Oh, absolutely.
[00:09:44] 100%.
[00:09:44] Right.
[00:09:45] It was...
[00:09:45] 100%.
[00:09:46] I'm with her.
[00:09:47] Hillary.
[00:09:48] The symbol was her first letter initial with the H going sideways or whatever.
[00:09:54] So, like, that was...
[00:09:56] That was...
[00:09:57] That you were supposed to call her Hillary.
[00:09:59] I think...
[00:09:59] I got the sense that that was because they were trying to distance herself from her husband,
[00:10:03] Bill, like she wanted to be her own person or something.
[00:10:05] Right.
[00:10:06] And so if you called her Clinton, then that might be seen as sexist in that campaign.
[00:10:11] Huh.
[00:10:11] So now this campaign is the opposite.
[00:10:14] That's...
[00:10:15] That's, uh...
[00:10:16] It's just a lot of rules.
[00:10:18] Yeah.
[00:10:19] I don't feel like they have much fun.
[00:10:21] You know?
[00:10:22] That has been...
[00:10:23] I don't think they have much...
[00:10:24] Not on the Trump campaign either in the sense of, like, trying to keep up with that guy
[00:10:29] is like trying to keep up with a pack of wild Mustangs, basically.
[00:10:33] Well...
[00:10:33] There's not a lot of...
[00:10:34] No time for fun.
[00:10:35] The reason...
[00:10:36] I think the lack of fun...
[00:10:37] I think that's Hillary's fault, too.
[00:10:39] Because she lost.
[00:10:41] And because she lost, we never got the fun camps.
[00:10:45] So...
[00:10:46] Oh...
[00:10:46] Remember?
[00:10:46] See, this is all starting to come back around full circle.
[00:10:51] Right.
[00:10:51] I mean, just what you thought all she was was vapid statements and kind of a dingbat.
[00:10:58] And pantsuits.
[00:10:59] Here we are.
[00:10:59] Yeah, and pantsuits.
[00:11:00] But...
[00:11:01] Right.
[00:11:01] And we...
[00:11:02] Right.
[00:11:02] And she promised us fun camps for adults, and then we never...
[00:11:05] We didn't want them or we didn't want her, and so now we don't have the fun camps,
[00:11:08] and that's why the left has become so scoldy.
[00:11:11] I think that's...
[00:11:12] Fun camps.
[00:11:13] Yeah.
[00:11:13] Any time the left starts talking about camps, I get a little concerned.
[00:11:17] As you should.
[00:11:19] As you should.
[00:11:20] Absolutely.
[00:11:20] All right, Mark Starling, appreciate you, man.
[00:11:22] And again, I'm not here next week, so you get the week off.
[00:11:25] Thank you, sir.
[00:11:26] Have a great vacation.
[00:11:27] All right, buddy.
[00:11:28] Take care.
[00:11:28] That's Mark Starling from WWNC up in Asheville.
[00:11:31] So I'm seeing reports now out of Washington, D.C.
[00:11:37] The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, is in town.
[00:11:41] He's fixing to do a speech in front of Congress tonight, and I'll get to some of the details
[00:11:48] on that in a minute, but he's apparently staying at the Watergate Hotel, which sounds like the
[00:11:53] name of a really good, like, corruption scandal or something.
[00:11:57] But he's staying at this hotel, and according to the Hamas holes, the supporters of Hamas,
[00:12:08] they apparently went in and vandalized the hotel.
[00:12:14] They dumped crickets and bugs and maggots into the dining facility at the hotel.
[00:12:28] So, yeah.
[00:12:30] When they tell you who they are, you should believe them.
[00:12:34] So the Israeli Prime Minister is in town to try to shore up support for its war against
[00:12:39] Hamas.
[00:12:40] A lot of Democrats don't want to hear anything about it.
[00:12:45] And so rather than sit in the audience at the joint session with their hands over their
[00:12:51] ears going, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, they are instead just not going to show up.
[00:12:55] Republicans are largely united in support of Netanyahu, but Democrats are sharply divided
[00:13:01] with a growing pro-Palestinian faction challenging the party's longtime support of Israel.
[00:13:08] This is from The Washington Times by Alex Miller.
[00:13:12] The rift has been exacerbated by Israel's war in Gaza that has raged since Hamas's deadly
[00:13:19] terrorist attack on October 7th.
[00:13:21] Scores of Democratic lawmakers are boycotting Netanyahu's address tonight.
[00:13:28] He says it could be as many as 100, including Senator Dick Durbin, Patty Murray, Alexandria
[00:13:39] Cazio-Cortez.
[00:13:40] I just saw Elizabeth Warren.
[00:13:43] She of the high cheekbones.
[00:13:45] She will not be attending.
[00:13:47] Vice President Kamala Harris, not attending.
[00:13:51] She is skipping tonight.
[00:13:53] As Vice President, she presides over the Senate and would be expected to attend an important
[00:14:00] speech from a foreign dignitary.
[00:14:03] Right?
[00:14:04] But she's not going to be there tonight.
[00:14:05] Oh, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.
[00:14:09] He has called for snap elections in Israel to oust Netanyahu's government.
[00:14:14] Gerald Nadler.
[00:14:15] He said he did not expect Netanyahu to say anything good in his address, and he blamed Netanyahu
[00:14:21] for keeping the war going.
[00:14:25] Netanyahu slated to meet separately with Mr. Biden and Ms. Harris.
[00:14:30] The talks are expected to center on the Biden administration's ceasefire plan, which I'm thinking
[00:14:36] probably nothing going to happen with that now.
[00:14:39] And then the prime minister is going to meet with Donald Trump on Friday.
[00:14:43] Large protests are expected in Washington during Netanyahu's visit.
[00:14:50] Why?
[00:14:51] I saw they're putting up a whole bunch of extra fencing around the Capitol, and they've brought
[00:14:58] in like 200 New York Police Department officers to help with security.
[00:15:02] I'm curious why.
[00:15:05] I wonder why also why is there something is it connected somehow?
[00:15:10] I mean, other than the anti-Semitism, we hate Jews thing, like but the idea like all
[00:15:14] the Democrats aren't going to be in Congress for this address.
[00:15:17] Meanwhile, they're ramping up all these security measures around the Capitol.
[00:15:21] Are you guys expecting something to get a little out of hand or something?
[00:15:25] What?
[00:15:26] Why?
[00:15:27] Why?
[00:15:29] Normalization of leftist violence.
[00:15:31] That's why.
[00:15:33] Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal, Democrat representing Gaza, who leads the progressive clock.
[00:15:39] I'm sorry, Washington.
[00:15:40] She represents Washington.
[00:15:42] She said Netanyahu was doing more damage in his quest to defeat Hamas.
[00:15:46] Right?
[00:15:47] He's that that skirt he's wearing is too damn short.
[00:15:51] OK, I just made up that quote, but it's basically the same thing.
[00:15:54] Why don't I just go to the emails right now?
[00:15:56] Let's see.
[00:15:56] Greg says, Pete, I don't know how feasible this is, but could a president or other Secret
[00:16:02] Service protectee also hire private security to work with the Secret Service, even if they
[00:16:07] were not armed and just worked in a consultative manner?
[00:16:11] Having a couple former Green Berets and SEALs walking around looking for security gaps.
[00:16:16] I bet they would.
[00:16:17] I bet they would have looked at that rooftop and said something like, are you guys kidding me?
[00:16:22] I don't know what.
[00:16:23] Yeah.
[00:16:23] I don't know what the rules are with that stuff.
[00:16:25] But if you've got to see if you have a private security detail, I have to imagine that like you would go through Secret Service vetting of some kind.
[00:16:32] And like you would be able like if like Donald Trump has always rolled with a bunch of heavies, you know.
[00:16:41] So like it would not surprise me if he had security, a security detail that he could keep close.
[00:16:47] But I don't know.
[00:16:48] Maybe not.
[00:16:48] Maybe he's offloaded those costs to the taxpayers because you get Secret Service protection for the rest of your life as a former president.
[00:16:55] So, yeah, I don't know what the details are on that, how that would work.
[00:16:59] But if I'm Donald Trump, I'm thinking I might be looking into it.
[00:17:05] Yeah.
[00:17:09] Let's see.
[00:17:10] Ray.
[00:17:10] Oh, wait.
[00:17:11] Sorry.
[00:17:11] No, this is from Ken.
[00:17:14] Because I love conspiracies, regardless of truth, facts, common sense, et cetera.
[00:17:19] What if Joe Biden resigns from office tonight for medical reasons, forcing Harris to pull back campaigning,
[00:17:26] to take over for Joe and opens the door for another candidate like Ray Cooper, 2024?
[00:17:34] I love it.
[00:17:36] Ray 24.
[00:17:40] I don't know.
[00:17:41] We'll see.
[00:17:42] I did see a leaked video purporting to be Joe Biden's address tonight that they pre-recorded.
[00:17:51] I saw a leaked version of it.
[00:17:52] He just kind of rambled on about how George Clooney was the worst Batman.
[00:17:56] So I'm not sure if it was real.
[00:17:59] Let me see here.
[00:18:01] Dave says, Pete, I haven't been able to listen in a while.
[00:18:05] Hurts my heart, Dave.
[00:18:06] What are you doing to me?
[00:18:07] No reason other than being real busy.
[00:18:09] But I listened yesterday and again today, and I'm wondering if something changed.
[00:18:12] It seems to be that the show has a lot more, and I mean a lot more, ads plus traffic news,
[00:18:18] weather updates leading to a lot less of you providing content.
[00:18:21] Has it changed or am I just imagining this?
[00:18:23] Is it ratio between content and ads the same for the shows?
[00:18:28] Genuine question.
[00:18:29] I know there are bills to pay, but I feel like it's a lot of stuff other than you.
[00:18:34] I don't know.
[00:18:35] I know last week it was lighter.
[00:18:40] And part of this is just the natural ebb and flow of the broadcast calendar and people
[00:18:46] buying ads for certain weeks, certain times of the year, and that sort of stuff.
[00:18:50] So that's all sales department stuff.
[00:18:53] So I don't know how helpful of an answer that is.
[00:18:57] But I'm kind of surprised Trump hasn't nicknamed Kamala Harris as cackling Kamala yet.
[00:19:03] I feel like it's kind of perfect.
[00:19:05] I think he's going with lying Kamala or Kamala, lying Kamala.
[00:19:10] I think he's doing that.
[00:19:11] That's what I've seen him running with so far.
[00:19:13] I don't know if it sticks, if he's going to try to make it stick.
[00:19:16] And I got to tell you, his branding of his opponents in recent years, I kind of feel
[00:19:23] like it's not up to what it was back in 2015.
[00:19:27] Like back then, it was just hit after hit after hit, you know?
[00:19:31] Just like a full album of standalone singles, you know?
[00:19:35] And now I feel like he's doing a lot of live albums, you know?
[00:19:41] Covers.
[00:19:43] Like he took Crooked Hillary and he gave it to Joe.
[00:19:48] And I was like, that's...
[00:19:51] I feel like that was like a remaster, you know?
[00:19:54] Like, why are you selling me another version of the same thing?
[00:19:57] Anyway, so...
[00:19:58] But I think he's going with the lying Kamala, which maybe that's why you're seeing this
[00:20:05] dumbassery about how you're not allowed to say...
[00:20:07] You're not allowed to say your name just alone as Kamala.
[00:20:11] You got to say vice president or you got to say Harris.
[00:20:14] You can't say Kamala.
[00:20:16] Or Kamala.
[00:20:17] You can't say either of them.
[00:20:18] You can't just say your first name.
[00:20:20] This is the latest pronouncement from our betters in the media.
[00:20:27] And Jennifer Rubin.
[00:20:28] So they're saying that to call her by her first name only is sexist somehow.
[00:20:35] And so maybe that's what's going on here.
[00:20:37] It's hard to...
[00:20:38] It's hard to tell.
[00:20:41] Because there's a lot of stupidity, a lot of dumbassery that is going to occur between
[00:20:46] now and the Democrat convention.
[00:20:50] Because they've only got a short window of time to try to, quote, introduce her, which
[00:20:57] sounds weird because she's been the vice president.
[00:20:59] But totally not the borders are because that term did not even exist.
[00:21:04] Okay.
[00:21:06] But they got to try to introduce her because right now the Republicans are trying to brand
[00:21:11] her.
[00:21:12] They're trying to project an image into the voting public's mind about who this woman is,
[00:21:18] what her record has been.
[00:21:20] And so then that calcifies.
[00:21:22] It hardens in the mind.
[00:21:24] And then no amount of campaigning she does is going to be able to overcome that.
[00:21:31] And the Democrats know that.
[00:21:32] They did it against Mitt Romney.
[00:21:35] Mitt Romney was in the primary.
[00:21:37] He was running.
[00:21:37] And the Obama camp just kept hammering away at Mitt Romney.
[00:21:41] And they framed him.
[00:21:43] Right.
[00:21:44] That's Alinsky tactics.
[00:21:46] That's, you know, pick the target, freeze it.
[00:21:49] Right.
[00:21:49] That's what they did.
[00:21:51] And that's what the Trump campaign is doing right now to Harris.
[00:21:57] Right.
[00:21:58] Harris, the vice president.
[00:22:00] And so maybe that's preemptive.
[00:22:02] My point here, though, is that media without direct marching orders on a particular thing,
[00:22:08] they tend to overreach on this stuff.
[00:22:11] Right.
[00:22:12] So they go to this, they go to this extreme level.
[00:22:14] And that's what you're seeing with this border czar BS.
[00:22:18] I keep joking about it, but this is literally a thing that they're trying to push that Kamala Harris was never the border czar.
[00:22:25] Because the position never actually existed.
[00:22:28] Even though these same media outlets called her that.
[00:22:32] Not kidding.
[00:22:34] Literally the same reporters now saying, like, fact check, borders are not a thing.
[00:22:39] We're literally calling her the border czar when she was named borders are not a real position.
[00:22:46] True.
[00:22:47] But remember the rise of the czars?
[00:22:49] Remember all of that?
[00:22:50] We mocked it.
[00:22:51] I think it was W. Bush.
[00:22:52] It was in his administration.
[00:22:54] Scott says, if we are no longer riding with Biden.
[00:22:59] Are we now in shallow with Kamala?
[00:23:03] Yes.
[00:23:05] Hmm.
[00:23:08] Approximately 200 people were arrested after anti-Israel agitators gathered in the cannon rotunda yesterday afternoon.
[00:23:17] Do not call that an insurrection.
[00:23:20] Simply because they all got into the Capitol and were protesting and screaming and chanting.
[00:23:26] And okay, maybe there was a little bit of banging on some doors and intimidating behavior.
[00:23:31] Definitely not a preview of things to come with the Israeli prime minister in town.
[00:23:39] Getting ready to address the Congress tonight.
[00:23:43] A source from the office of Representative Dan Kildea, a Democrat from Michigan, told Fox News that staff and interns barricaded themselves inside their offices, which were close to the demonstration.
[00:23:56] The protesters were nearby and the source said that the protesters were violently beating on all three of the doors.
[00:24:03] Protesters were arrested for crowding, obstructing, or incommoding.
[00:24:10] According to Capitol Police.
[00:24:12] Did you know that such a term existed, let alone a charge?
[00:24:16] Incommoding.
[00:24:17] I'm going to start using that term.
[00:24:19] I think I'm going to start using that term.
[00:24:21] Like if I'm out at a restaurant.
[00:24:24] Excuse me.
[00:24:25] I got to.
[00:24:26] Where's your restroom?
[00:24:27] I have to.
[00:24:28] I have to engage in some incommoding.
[00:24:33] Prime Minister Netanyahu said to address a joint session of Congress tonight.
[00:24:37] Harris is not going to be there.
[00:24:40] The vice president.
[00:24:42] Not going to be there.
[00:24:42] Senate president pro tempore Patty Murray, Democrat from Washington, was expected to preside over the speech in her absence.
[00:24:50] But she reportedly refused to be present and is also boycotting the Israeli leader.
[00:24:56] So Ben Cardin, Democrat from Maryland, will preside over the address instead.
[00:25:03] So the absence of all these Democrats at the speech tonight prompted another entrant into the 2024 contest for biggest dumbassery.
[00:25:18] We'll take a listen up next.
[00:25:20] All right.
[00:25:20] That'll do it for this episode.
[00:25:22] Thank you so much for listening.
[00:25:23] I could not do the show without your support and the support of the businesses that advertise on the podcast.
[00:25:28] So if you'd like, please support them, too, and tell them you heard it here.

[00:25:37] Again, thank you so much for listening.
[00:25:39] And don't break anything while I'm gone.
