Actually, Hunter Biden was illegally acting as a foreign agent (04-07-2025--Hour3)

This episode is presented by Create A Video – Another "Now It Can Be Told" story about the corruption of the Biden crime family... which everyone with a functioning brain already knew. [00:00:29] Once again, now the story can be told. It's amazing how many of these stories we can now tell with Joe Biden out of the White House. Jonathan Turley, writing for foxnews.com. He also has his own website, jonathanturley.org. He is a constitutional law professor, right? He's a lifelong Democrat, but has been,

[00:00:58] shocked at the illiberalism of the modern Democrat Party and its, you know, lurching to the left. He says, for years, some of us have written about the Biden family's multimillion dollar influence peddling operation and the Justice Department's refusal to charge Hunter Biden with being an unregistered foreign agent, right?

[00:01:27] This is Farrah, F-A-R-R-A. This is the Farrah stuff. You don't get to lobby on behalf of a foreign power or business without registering as an agent for that foreign government or business. That's the point.

[00:01:48] And Hunter Biden, much like he forgot his laptop at the shop, he apparently forgot to ever register as a foreign agent while he was conducting business while his father was president.

[00:02:09] Yeah, it's a bit sticky here. Years later now, the New York Times has found evidence suggesting that the former president's son was acting as a foreign agent as early as the Obama administration. No, really? Of course, everybody in this audience knows that already because we've been covering that people.

[00:02:39] People who follow conservative media. are already well aware of how far back the Hunter Biden stuff goes, what he was doing, the purpose of the operation, right? Where Hunter gets paid tens of thousands of dollars a month, despite having no real discernible skills at anything. There's no product being sold except what? Proximity to power with his father.

[00:03:09] Last August, the New York Times ran a story about Hunter Biden seeking help from the government for his client. Anybody want to take a guess who the client was? Burisma. Very good. It was Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company. And now so that was the New York Times story that they you know, now it can be told told last summer.

[00:03:37] When but when Joe was no longer going to be the nominee, he was like, oh, you know what? Yeah, we got something on this Joe Biden guy. Now you've got a follow up by the New York Times again. Hunter Biden sought assistance from the U.S. government for a potentially lucrative energy project in Italy while his father was vice president.

[00:04:05] This according to newly released records and interviews. The records, which the Biden administration had withheld for years, indicate that Hunter Biden wrote at least one letter to the U.S. ambassador to Italy in 2016, seeking assistance for the Ukrainian gas company Burisma, where he was a board member. The State Department did not release the actual text of the letter, though.

[00:04:32] That is precisely what many of us, including Jonathan Turley, he says, have been writing about in asking why Hunter Biden was not charged with being an unregistered foreign agent. You know, like Paul Manafort was and Bob Menendez, gold bar Bob. Right. Why does he get to skate?

[00:04:58] The Foreign Agents Registration Act, FARA, covers anybody acting as an agent of a foreign principle. And that means attempting to influence federal officials or the public on domestic or foreign policy or the political or public interests in favor of a foreign country. Right. But remember, Joe Biden, whenever he was asked about Hunter Biden's business dealings, right, Joe would always say. And we all knew what he meant. Right.

[00:05:28] They don't ever talk about business, which when he first said that I called BS on it immediately. There is no way there is no way that you never talk to your son that's hanging around your workplace all the time. Flying with you overseas to go visit these other countries. Hey, Hunter, what are you doing on this plane with me? Oh, I'm going over to meet some people on business. Oh, really? What kind of is? Oh, no, no. Sorry, I didn't ask that.

[00:05:57] Let's not talk about business because we never talk about business. Special counsel Robert Mueller. Jonathan Tully says seemed to charge by the gross under the Farrah. Right. He was going after everybody. He hit a lineup or he hit a line of Trump associates with such allegations from Manafort to Michael Flynn to George Papadopoulos to Rick Gates.

[00:06:21] The Justice Department used Farrah to conduct searches on the homes and files of former Trump counsel, Rudy Giuliani and Republican attorney Victoria Tenzing, among others. They were using Farrah all over the place when it came to Trump and Russia. But the Justice Department and the special counsel, David Weiss, seem to tie themselves into knots to avoid tripping the wire on Farrah, even as it discussed Hunter Biden's work for foreign clients.

[00:06:51] The government. I mean, think about that. Hunter Biden, they went after him for the IRS stuff. Right. And where did that money come from? Foreign business dealings. OK. And you would put data on the phone. Oh, just to say, hey, how's it going? You know, that should have set off all the alarms for Farrah, which, of course, it did. I mean, we all know it did.

[00:07:19] We all know why they didn't pursue it. Because it's different when you're a Democrat. You get the big D shield. You see, you get the protection. The request. This is from the New York Times. The request was initial. This is a FOIA request that the New York Times sent to the government. And it was initially filed in June of 2021.

[00:07:45] After nearly eight months, the State Department had not released any records. So the New York Times then sued the State Department. They then slow walk that thing for 18 more months. The department moved to close the case after releasing thousands of pages of records. But none of those records shed any light on Hunter Biden's outreach to the U.S. government. So the Times challenged the thoroughness of that search,

[00:08:13] noting that the department had failed to produce responsive records contained in a cache of files connected to a laptop. So they knew these things existed because they knew the laptop was real. The New York Times did. They knew it was real. They were looking at the files. They're like, give us these files from the State Department. We want this stuff in the like.

[00:08:40] You know, first they ignore you for eight months. Then you have to sue them. And then they slow walk that for another year and a half. And then they dump a whole, you know, box load of documents on you. And none of them line up with the stuff you've got on the laptop. So, you know, they're not giving you everything. And so they went back to the State Department and said that. The department resumed the search, giving periodic productions,

[00:09:06] but had produced very few documents related to Mr. Biden until the week after his father ended his reelection campaign and endorsed Harris. That's when they got the documents they were looking for. When he was no longer going to be president. And he was probably, you know, charging up the auto pen for all them pardons. All right. So spring is here, a time of renewal and celebrations.

[00:09:34] You got graduations, weddings, anniversaries, and the special days for mom and dad. Your family's making memories that are going to last a lifetime. [00:10:30] Get all the details at createavideo.com. So the New York Times telling us the story that we really already knew, but now they can confirm Hunter Biden was acting on behalf of Burisma and lobbying the government for stuff while his dad was vice president. They knew this because it was on the laptop.

[00:10:55] They tried to get documents from the Biden administration, the State Department. They were blocked from doing so up until Joe Biden announced he was dropping out, endorsing Harris. And then the State Department gives them the confirmation documents, which they had on the laptop. But I guess they just they didn't feel comfortable going ahead with that. But it also raises the question.

[00:11:21] Why wasn't Hunter Biden ever investigated or charged with Farrah violations? That's what the Justice Department was going after Trump world with nailing everybody with Farrah. And they didn't go after Hunter Biden for it. And then, of course, Joe gives the pardon.

[00:11:41] And the pardon covers the exact time frame that Hunter Biden was doing this work, which we knew because we've been paying attention to this story in a way that your legacy media has not. Jonathan Turley writing at Fox News dot com says that to do to do to hang on.

[00:12:08] There's another. Yeah. The letter requested help. This is the letter from Hunter Biden to Enrico Rossi, the president of the Tuscany regional government at the time. The letter was a request. To get help to arrange a meeting between Burisma officials and Rossi to, quote,

[00:12:33] introduce geothermal projects led by Burisma Group to highlight their social and economic benefits for local communities and develop a common action plan that would lead to further development of the Tuscany region. Very clear. How could any Justice Department official, let alone a special counsel like David Weiss?

[00:12:59] How do you read this letter and, you know, they saw the letter, you know, they had to be aware of it? How do you see that and not see the disconnect between the handling of the case involving Joe Biden's son and Paul Manafort? Right. The letter references a trip on which Hunter Biden used official travel with his father to make these business connections.

[00:13:29] Oh, no. Yes. Yes. We've been talking about this for years also. The letter mentions meeting a key ambassador on Air Force Two as he seeks assistance for his client.

[00:13:44] Many in the media attacked people like Turley, who had been writing about this corruption, stretching back to the Obama administration, whose only scandal was wearing a tan suit. I just saw that again. There are people on the left who sincerely believe that Barack Obama's two terms had zero scandals.

[00:14:12] Except for the manufactured one when he wore a tan suit in the White House press briefing room or maybe in the Rose Garden or something. Yeah, it was like spring or summer and he was wearing like a light tan suit. And I remember when I first saw this story about the tan suit and it was Republicans are pouncing on the tan suit.

[00:14:40] Conservatives are outraged over the tan suit. And I remember thinking at the time, like I follow conservative media, I'd like to say pretty closely. And so I think I would have been aware if there was a whole bunch of outrage about the tan suit, because I would have said that's a pretty silly thing to be outraged about. But there wasn't any. Nobody was making a big deal about the tan suit. Nobody even paid any attention.

[00:15:04] And then all of a sudden we get some story like NBC or something like they're all outraged at the tan suit. Who are you talking about? Nobody cared about a tan suit. And then and now to this day, you have people on the left. I am. I literally just saw somebody post on social media, some big name account. I forget who it was, but they were they put that stupid image up of Obama with the tan suit. And like, remember when the biggest scandal was a tan suit?

[00:15:33] It wasn't the biggest scandal. The guy, the guy blew up the entire health care industry. That was a pretty big one. I feel like one sixth of the economy. Right. Being overregulated and disrupted, as he did with a lie. If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor rated the biggest lie of the year by the Washington Post. That's kind of scandally. Don't you think? I thought so.

[00:16:03] How about Fast and Furious? Remember that one? Running the guns into Mexico with straw purchasers. Illegal. Totally illegal. And then, of course, one of the firearms is used in the murder of a Border Patrol agent. That seems kind of scandalous. How about the targeting of the Tea Partiers? Through the IRS. Not some low-level field officer in Cincinnati. Right? I don't know.

[00:16:31] How about police acted stupidly? Remember that one? That was kind of scandally. You had to even have a beer summit to try to fix that one. People like Turley who were calling out the influence peddling operation that was the Biden family operation. Right? They got attacked. Turley got attacked. People said there's no evidence.

[00:17:00] But then they would take no steps to find out. Right? These media companies, these reporters, and while the media was unrelenting in its investigating Trump's allegations of Russia collusion and business improprieties. Right? It took a largely passive stance in pursuing the Hunter Biden story. Even the New York Times, which he says he gives them credit for pursuing this FOIA, this freedom of information story.

[00:17:28] But it did comparably little with the ample evidence of corruption by the Bidens in securing millions of dollars through influence peddling. This is why trust in media is so low. We don't believe you. And we shouldn't. Because you are activists with a byline. All right. If you're listening to this show, you know I try to keep up with all sorts of current events.

[00:17:57] And I know you do too. And you've probably heard me say, get your news from multiple sources. Why? Well, because it's how you detect media bias, which is why I've been so impressed with Ground News. It's an app, and it's a website, and it combines news from around the world in one place so you can compare coverage and verify information. You can check it out at check.ground.news slash Pete. I put the link in the podcast description too.

[00:18:24] I started using Ground News a few months ago and more recently chose to work with them as an affiliate because it lets me see clearly how stories get covered and by whom. [00:18:51] Your subscription then not only helps my podcast, but it also supports Ground News as they make the media landscape more transparent. I do have some messages. Both from John, but two different Johns. John number one says, Pete, I always laugh at the so-called conservative outrage over Obama wearing a tan suit. These clowns have short memories. Ronald Reagan was celebrated for stepping out of the D.C. normal blue suit routine and wearing tan suits quite often.

[00:19:20] Yeah, that's true. I've seen a lot of old videos of Reagan wearing the tan suit as well. And then John, too, says something, something, gun, something, something, killed an agent with Eric Holder still waiting to go see about his contempt of Congress hearing. And if Gates hadn't become famous for his beer summit, he wouldn't have a PBS program about ancestry now. That's right.

[00:20:14] Common sense gun regulations. Yeah, right. OK, so you know where this is going. OK, but that's the short title. But the actual title of the bill. Is. An act to require a permit for the purchase of an assault weapon or long gun to require a 72 hour waiting period before a purchased firearm may be delivered or otherwise possessed. To prohibit the sale of an assault weapon or long gun to persons under a certain age.

[00:20:42] To prohibit the sale or possession of a bump stock or trigger crank. To require the safe storage of a firearm. To revise reciprocity law for a concealed carry handgun permit. To require the reporting of a lost or stolen firearm. To require any person who owns a firearm. To carry firearm liability insurance. To limit the size of ammunition magazines. To repeal the preemption of local regulation of firearms. To allow the destruction of seized firearms. To require the department of the public's. This is I'm not even halfway through. I'm not. I'm just going to stop. It's literally.

[00:21:13] It's literally every single slogan of the anti-second amendment crowd. As the title of the bill. It takes up the whole page. It is a entire page of block text. And that's the title of the bill. I have no idea unless it was meant to go viral for its dumbassery. I don't know why you would do this. It's so dumb. It's not going anywhere either.

[00:21:43] Because. Yeah. The Republicans are not going to entertain it. All right. A couple of weeks ago. I saw something. Start moving around on the Twitter machine. And I thought. Huh. This is weird. Because whenever you start seeing. A bunch of different accounts. Saying the same stuff. You have to wonder if there's some sort of a. Astro turfing going on. Right. Like the. Like it's supposed to look grassroots. But it's not. It's.

[00:22:12] It's fabricated somehow. And I'm talking about. The debate over. Whether or not. Soda. Can be purchased with. Your. Food stamps. Okay. According to Philip Wegman. At real clear politics dot com. A subversive. Attempt. To drive a wedge. Between MAGA. Influencers. And their new. Maha.

[00:22:42] Allies. Make America healthy again. So. Right. You got your Trump crowd. And you got your. RFK junior crowd. The RFK junior crowd. Are. You know. Much more. Lefty. Than. The MAGA crowd. So there. So. What Wegman is saying. Is that this was a. An attempt. To drive a wedge. Between these two groups. And it was discovered. And subsequently. Rejected. Like a pathogen. From the online. Geo body.

[00:23:11] GOP body politic. The occasion for the war. That wasn't. A push to ban. Sugary drinks. From the supplemental. Nutrition assistance program. More than 42 million. Americans. Rely on. The snap. Program. It's 113 billion. Dollars a year. Robert F. Kennedy jr. The newly minted. Health and human services. Secretary. Has pushed for. Excluding soda. From the benefit. He said. Before his confirmation. That we shouldn't be.

[00:23:41] Subsidizing people. To eat poison. This is not a new idea. I've heard people talk about. You know. Not allowing certain foods. To be used. To be purchased. With the snap. Benefits. But unlike past efforts. The movement to make soda. Ineligible for snap. Like alcohol. You can't use it for that. You can't use it for tobacco. But now it seems to be gaining momentum. Thanks to. RFK jr. And apparently Trump has given. RFK.

[00:24:11] His blessing on this. And then we saw. A bunch of these social media. Influencers. With huge accounts. That all started saying the same thing. They started. Talking about. They were calling it. Ridiculous government overreach. They. Mentioned. New York City mayor. Former mayor. Michael Bloomberg. That he had tried to ban. The soda drinks. Right. And that failed.

[00:24:40] And remember Donald Trump. Like he's got the Diet Coke button. They were all saying. These same three things. Nick Sartor. Who is a. Conservative. Social media guy. He smelled. AstroTurf. The sudden defense of snap. For soda. Was not coming from the grassroots. This is according to the conservative podcaster. It was. The result of a coordinated campaign.

[00:25:09] Orchestrated by the public relations. Firm. Influensible. That's the name of their firm. Influensible. Online influencers. Were given a list of talking points. Sent stock images. Of the president. Drinking soda. And promised as much. As a thousand dollars. For every pro. Soda post. You made. Sartor. Concluded that the campaign. Was an attempt. To turn MAGA folks. Against. RFK. And. Maha.

[00:25:39] Influensible. The public relations firm. Could not be reached for comment. Speaking on the condition of anonymity. One of the influencers. Who participated. In the PR blitz. Confirmed. To RealClearPolitics. That they had been paid. To push the talking points. Others. Were approached. But declined. To participate. One of those who declined. Riley Gaines. Here's a great idea. How about making an escape. To a really special. And secluded getaway. In western North Carolina. Just a quick drive up the mountain.

[00:26:08] And Cabins of Asheville. Is your connection. Whether you're celebrating. An anniversary. A honeymoon. Maybe you want to plan. A memorable proposal. Or get family and friends. Together for a big old reunion. Cabins of Asheville. Has the ideal spot. For you. Where you can reconnect. With your loved ones. And the things that truly matter. Nestled within the breathtaking. 14,000 acres. Of the Pisgah National Forest. Their cabins. Offer a serene escape. In the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Centrally located. Between Asheville. And the entrance. Of the great. Smoky Mountain National Park.

[00:26:37] It's the perfect balance. Of seclusion. And proximity. To all the local attractions. With hot tubs. Fireplaces. Air conditioning. Smart TVs. Wi-Fi. Grills. Outdoor tables. And your own private. Covered porch. Choose from 13 cabins. Six cottages. Two villas. And a great lodge. With 11 king sized bedrooms. Cabins of Asheville. Has the ideal spot for you. For any occasion. And they have pet friendly accommodations. Call or text.

[00:27:05] 828-367-7068. Or check out all there is to offer. At cabins of Asheville.com. And make memories. That'll last a lifetime. Time. Actually let me read. Two messages. That I got. First one. This was regarding the. Very lengthy title of that bill. David says. I was taught in school. That the purpose of the body. Of a written work. Is to carry the information. The title. Is supposed to be short. And attention grabbing. But I am Gen X. So I'm probably jaded.

[00:27:34] About poor writing habits. Yeah. But then Russ also points out. That that bill title. Reminds me. How older people type their entire message. In the email subject line. That's funny. Because it's true. Um. All right. So back to the. Um. This piece of real clear politics. And by the way. The headline on this is called. Soda pop wars.

[00:28:02] Inside pay to post campaign. To pit MAGA. Against. Maha. Influensible. The name of the PR firm. No comments. Online sleuths. Speculated that the American. Beverage Association. Was pushing. The campaign. Well I mean. That would be logical. Right. Big soda. They would be the ones. Behind such a campaign. That. That. That does track. William. Dermody.

[00:28:32] A spokesman for the ABA. Categorically denied the accusation. His association. Has rejected the push. To make soda. Ineligible for food stamps. But they have made their arguments. Out in the open. And have not funded. Any pay to post schemes. The ABA. Argues. That soda. Is not driving obesity. Citing federal data. That shows adult obesity.

[00:29:00] Has increased by 37% since 2000. Obesity has increased 37% since the year 2000. And pointed to industry figures. That reflect full calorie soda sales. Have dropped by 23%. The grocery aisle meanwhile. Has evolved. With seltzer water. Not soda. Becoming ascendant. Look. I'm not going to say that this is all because of me. But.

[00:29:28] I was drinking sparkling water. Before anybody else. Nobody was even talking about this issue. Until. I came down that golden escalator. Okay. I'm just saying. No like I was drinking the. Just. Like seltzer water. Because. I. I gave up soda. Like years ago. I quit drinking soda. And now I can't even. I. It's. I can't. I don't like the taste of it. But every now and again.

[00:29:58] I want something fizzy. You know. I want the fizz. And so. The seltzer water. Would do the trick. And I know there are all these flavors. And all this stuff now. And Christy. Christy. Has swapped out all of her soda. For the. The flavored water. So I'll try some of those every now and again. But I'm just. I'm a simple guy. You know. I just like the. The sparkling water. And now. Thanks to. Everybody else. Figuring out what I had figured out. Apparently. You know. Way before. For everybody else. Again. I'm not claiming credit here.

[00:30:28] Obviously. But. Now. I have so many more options. To choose from. On the. You know. On the grocery store aisle. Because it used to be. You got like. Two. Little. One liter bottles. And you had to go like. To the bar section. You know. Where they got the mixers. And all that stuff. Because that was the only place. You could find the seltzer water. Because they would even. Really count it as like. This is really isn't even a beverage. I don't think. The only reason. You would ever want this. Is to mix it into something else. Right.

[00:30:58] I mean. This was. This was the degradation. I had to live under. And now everybody else is doing. So I welcome everyone. Anyway. The association. The ABA. Says. The MAGA faithful. Don't want the change. Anyway. A recent poll. By public opinion strategies. A Republican polling outfit. Shows that nearly six out of ten. Trump voters. Reported that soda. And sugary beverages. Should remain. Eligible for food stamps.

[00:31:28] The RFK reform. Would treat Americans. Facing hard times. Like second class citizens. Abandoning. Like. Oh. So you got to be rich now. To pay for soda. Abandoning a campaign promise. To empower Kennedy. Comes with its own risk. Trump expanded the GOP coalition. During the last election. By bringing non-traditional voters. Into the fold. Among them. The health conscious. Maha crap. Quote. Right now. These Trump voters. The GOP.

[00:31:57] Is just renting them. That's according to. Longtime Trump pollster. John McLaughlin. Speaking of the disaffected Democrats. And traditionally. Liberal constituencies. Who pulled the lever. For the Republican president. He said the GOP. Needed to make a decision. If they're going to make. These voters. Permanent. Right. MAGA is just. Renting. The Maha. Ryan James. Giderski. A political consultant. With close ties. To Trump world.

[00:32:27] Said that. The president. Is not likely. To let those voters. Leave the fold. The make America. Healthy again. Is the only part. Of the Trump coalition. That ever convinced him. To step back. On a previously. Held belief. Which was. The vaccines. Right. Talking about the. The backlash. Over the COVID jab. That caused Trump. To suddenly moderate.

[00:32:57] On the issue. During the campaign. Excluding soda. From snap benefits. Could be similar. Regardless. For now. Maha. And MAGA. Seem. Simpatico. On soda. All right. So. I give you that story. Because you need to always. Kind of keep in mind. When you're seeing these social media accounts. You know. Anybody. Me. Every. True. All of it. Like. I tell you. Like. You know. If I'm endorsing a product. It means. I'm being paid to endorse it. But I've used it. Like. PhD weight loss. So.

[00:33:27] Always keep in mind. You start seeing people posting stuff. That's identical. To some other people. Like. That's. That's astroturfing. But. Speaking of the vaccines. And such. North Carolina state lawmakers. Have introduced the Ivermectin Access Act. To make Ivermectin available over the counter. Following national controversy regarding the drug during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will all be able to consume the horse paste now.

[00:33:56] North Carolina lawmakers filed the legislation that would make Ivermectin accessible at pharmacies. Without a prescription. Jonathan Allman from Cabarrus County. Republican. Among the sponsors. He said. It's a 60 year old. Nobel Prize winning drug. And I think it's got a lot of potential benefits. That not a lot of people know about. I think we all saw the media apparatus. And the medical industry. Come out during COVID. And basically try to make everyone feel like they're going to turn into a horse.

[00:34:25] Well that's what happens when you eat the horse paste. Duh. It's science. He said. I truly believe. Because we were under the emergency use authorization. If there would have been another therapeutic. That would have been proven to be useful at helping with COVID. They wouldn't have been able to move forward with the development of a vaccine. He is precisely correct. All right. That'll do it for this episode.
