So we had a terrorist attack in the UK this morning. This occurred outside of a Manchester synagogue. I'm not sure if the attacker was screaming a Loha snack bar. If so, we may never know the motive. Two people died after a suspect rammed his vehicle into people that were walking up to this synagogue and then he got out and started stabbing people. The suspect was then shot by police. The incident came on Yam Kapur, the holiest day in the Jewish religious calendar. Police responded to reports of a car driving towards members of the public and a man stabbed at nine to thirty local time am nine thirty am. The man who was stabbed is believed to be a security guard at the synagogue. The incident happened at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in the Crumpsall area in Manchester's North. It's an area with a large Jewish community. One eyewitness told the BBC that he saw a man with a knife stabbing the window of a nearby building trying to get in. So after he had rammed the people in the craft out and stabbed the security guard, he then tried to get into the synagogue. Within seconds the police were there. They gave him a couple of warnings, said the witness. He did not listen and they opened fire. He went down, but then they started to get back up and they shot him again. And you may be asking why would they shoot him again, Why wouldn't they just take him into custody. Well, he had what appeared to be some sort of a suicide vest bombs or something. It was more of a suicide fanny pack in the front. He was wearing like these little dangling things whatever. Right, So once again we may never know what motivated this person who I've seen images of the person because they are not describing or identifying the attacker yet in the UK, but I did see an image that was taken from somebody who was there on the street who witnessed it, and they took a picture of him. And he's a pretty big guy. He's wearing a black shirt, dark pants, the suicide fanny pack, and he's bald, and he has a very large beard black beard. So yeah, we may never know what may have motivated him to go try to kill a bunch of Jewish people going to the synagogue on their holiest of holy days. Three other members of the public remain in serious condition. All the injuries were the result of both the vehicle and the stab wounds. The police had to bring in their bomb disposal unit because of the suicide fanny pack. I mean, I assume it was a suicide fanny pack. I assume that because I mean I don't know if they were explosives or not. I don't know how high powered they were, because if they weren't high powered enough, you end up like a hes Balah leader, you know, or well not even the leaders. Yeah, don't know, but they because they were just kind of like hanging down, dangling, which anyway, don't they may not even have been explosives. That could have been just a decoy. Police said they declared PLATO moments after hearing about the incident. Operation PLATO is a set of responses by the emergency services to large scale incidents, including marauding terrorist attacks. That is a quote from the British Emergency Response Plan Marauding Terrorist Attacks. Prime Minister Sir Kia Starmer said additional police assets would be deployed at synagogues across the country after the attack. I wonder why, by the way, the BBC one of their reporters was speculating that it could be UH neo Nazi far right UH inspired. Again, I don't know what the motive may have been. I'm not aware of the suicide fanny pack being something that that the far right neo Nazis typically do, but maybe they've maybe they've changed tactics. Not sure. Busha Shake she is a. Social political commentator, as seen on Good Morning Britain the BBC. She's the founder of Run Racism Out, and she tweeted today's stupid tweet of the day. She says, horrified to learn of the attack outside of synagogue in Manchester. My thoughts are with those affected by this criminal act. We are yet to learn of the motivations behind the crime. But I blame Nenton Yahoo and his live streamed genocide. So even when Jews are attacked, it's the Jew's fault. Just so we're clear, so everybody understands the standard that is being applied here that when you are attacked. And look, we saw this also when Donald Trump was nearly assassinated, not once but twice. It's his fault for that violence. It's just this war in at H. B. Johnson, right, that's the reason. Constantin Kissen, who is the host of a YouTube show called Triggernometry you can get it on the podcasts and such, he says, a terrorist incident at a synagogue in Manchester. My thoughts are obviously with the families of the victims, but I sadly feel the need to remind everyone to be very careful what they say in the heat of the moment, because you can get arrested in Britain such as the world we live in. Yeah, he's exactly right, and in fact, the UK government sent out a post that said think before you post. So think, I mean, what are they doing? The government is suppressing its own citizens from posting on social media anything about this attack that may. What pin it on. Muslim radical Islamists? Right, that's what they're saying. Don't you tweet that? Don't you put that on Facebook? Did you know? I was watching? Who was it? I believe it was hang On. I wrote it down so I was watching it the other day, wrote it down here. Yes, it was Mike Bens from the Grey Zone and he was on with Winston Marshall on his podcast or YouTube show and they talked about a lot of stuff. It was like an hour and a half, some pretty scary stuff. I'm actually gonna pull some of this audio, but regarding this topic specifically, and he's talking about the censorship apparatus that was essentially dismantled when Trump came in and when Elon Musk bought Twitter, and he was going over sort of the AI backdoor censorship that the left and at a global level has been employing. But on this he said, the statistic is thirty people a day in the UK are arrested for social media posts. That is twelve thousand arrests per year for mean tweets. Basically that's the UK that it's subjects because I don't think you guys are citizens anymore. Over there I think you are now subjects. That's what they are living under. And so now we see this attack on Jews going to the synagogue by a guy that may or may not have a motive that we would be able to discern. In a nation that has opened its doors to just unprecedented levels of immigration, legal and illegal from areas of the world that don't like them very much, and the government tells its subjects, don't you tweet about it. What's the old Norm McDonald joke. It'd be a shame, Like the worst part about it, like if something like if Islamists detonated a nuclear bomb in America and killed fifty million people, the worst part would be all of the Islamophobia. All right, that's what we're going to say. That's my prediction on this, And you know me, I don't make a lot of predictions, but this is this is pretty standard down and you heard it in that response from that woman in the UK on who's like with good Morning Britain. So we'll see what happens. We'll see what the motive might possibly be for why a synagogue was attacked and why all of a sudden people are saying that it's really net and Yahoo's fault why Jews were attacked. So this brings me though to another another issue and the other day and I actually heard last night. I heard TJ Ritchie who won't take my call by the way, did not take my call, but TJ was talking about this last night on his show, and it's about cousin marriage. Not that he's in favorite. No, I'm not saying that. Over in Britain, the NHS that they were so proud of that they did like an entire tribute to the National Health Service when they hosted the Olympics. Remember that, Like they did like this. Dancing homage with you know, performers and stuff about like about their health service. They're so proud of their health service over there. I don't know why. They probably save a bunch of money by not providing any dental care. But I kid, I kid the British. So the NHS published recently some guidance and it says quote extolling the benefits of first cousin marriage in Britain's Sorry. A recent news article about Britain's National Health Service talked about guidance from the NHS that extolled the benefits of first cousin marriage despite the increased risk of birth defects. Over at the federalists dot Com, John Daniel Davidson says, defying both modern science and the traditions of Western civilization, the NHS England's genomics education programmy, well they put ease at the end of that word that I don't do that programmy, So they seem to be endorsing incest, saying first cousin marriage is linked to stronger extended family support systems and economic advantages. I mean, yes, you may have a bunch of genetic birth defects, but man, that family support system is going to be strong. This is actually clannish and I don't mean KKK, I mean c LA and Planish. But see, the NHS has to say this because they have imported so many people into the UK now from areas of Pakistan sorry Pakistan, that have this clan model that they have to go along with what that. Cultural norm is. It's also linked to an increase in heritable genetic conditions like sickle cell disease cystic fibrosis, for example, but that's apparently not as important to the NHS as justifying the practice of cousin marriage among the Pakistani Muslim immigrant population. In fact, the only reason the NHS is even talking about cousin marriage is because the practice is rampant among the country's Muslim immigrants. NHS's guidance says, quote, genetic counseling, awareness raising initiatives, and public health campaigns are all important tools to help families make informed decisions without stigmatizing certain communities and cultural traditions. They can't even bring themselves to say, this is not a good idea. And this is, by the way, one of the bedrock foundational beliefs, if you will, of Western civilization, we would not be where we are as a globe, as a world, as Westerners, we would not be where we are. Had somebody, many many, many many years ago not banned cousin marriage. I wasn't aware of this until about three or four weeks ago when I was watching an interview with historian who talked about this, and I was like that is fascinating. I have never heard this before, so I was happy to see this. Why I'm bringing this piece from John Daniel Davidson to you because he goes over some of this, which is that this issue so completely encapsulates what's gone wrong in Britain and illustrates how thoroughly the country's ruling elites have turned their back not only on their native population but on Western civilization itself. After all, the prohibition on cousin marriage was one of the early achievements of. Christendom. It enabled the rise of Western civilization in Europe. Really, Pete, how is that possible? I would have asked myself the very same question about three weeks ago. I would have no idea, really, like I never knew how first cousin marriage got banned, Like I always just assumed it was like Govco came along like one hundred or so years ago, and they're like, whoa, whoa, we finally figured this out. No no, no, no no no. In the sixth and seventh centuries, amid the collapse of the Roman Empire in the West, the Catholic Church began pushing back on the practice of cousin marriage or if you want to get all fancy about it. The word is consanguinity, I think is how it's pronounced. And they did this against the pagan peoples of Europe the Catholic Church because it was common among the Anglo Saxons and other groups. And this is what created this Clanish behavior. Pope Gregory the Great band cousin marriage outright soon after he became pope in five ninety a d. And in time that prohibition became the cultural norm across the entire continent because the pope banded. How how did this lead to the rise of Western civilization? Ah glad you asked? You know. Really was that name before the incestuous family? Okay, Troublesome Creek, Kentucky. The family was the few Gits. I'm gonna call them. I'm gonna call them the fu get maybe the Feugattes Fugates. They experienced blue skin due to a rare genetic condition called metheglobilnila I think is how that is pronounced. It was perpetuated through generations of inbreeding. The condition originated in eighteen twenty when Martin Fugott, who carried the recess gene, settled in the isolated Appalachian region of Perry County, Kentucky with his wife Elizabeth Smart. Huh. Anyway, their children inherited the condition, and four of their seven kids were born with blue skin. Their family's isolation, combined with the lack of outside contact and intermarriage among relatives, including cousins and even aunts, allowed the gene to persist. It's the deficiencies in a crucial enzyme results in blood turning brown and skin appearing blue due to insufficient oxygen delivery. Interesting. So, yeah, there's some downside to marrying your cousins repeatedly over decades and so way back in five ninety a d Pope Gregory The Great Band cousin Marriage. How did this lead to the rise of Western civilization? Well, the effect would in time be profound. In his best selling book in twenty twenty, The Weirdest People in the World, How the West became psychologically peculiar and particularly prosperous, that was the name of the book, Joseph Henrich argues that by making first cousin marriage consanguinity, by making it taboo in Europe, the Catholic Church began the process of breaking down the insolarity of the various tribes and clans of people that had settled in the lands of the former Roman Empire. Close knit family clans caught in cycles of ruinous warfare with one another were now forced to marry their sons and daughters to families outside of their bloodlines. This had the effect of enlarging the clans and creating wider networks of mutual trust and kinship, and it fostered peace among newly converted Christian peoples. So instead of clan verse, clan neighbor vers neighbor right, you now have the cross marriaging going on that is a word, that's not actually a word, cross marrying going on right, And now the clans get connected to one another. They now trust each other. You start building social trust, and you start identifying yourself as part of a larger clan. Basically, a country banning cousin marriage was arguably one of the foundations of Western civilization, imposed by Christendom on the pagan peoples of Europe for the sake of peace and social cohesion, that cousin marriage should now reappear in a rapidly de christianizing Britain, along with political pandering to its unassimilated Muslim population. It's a testament to how thoroughly modern Britain's leaders have betrayed their own civilization and how unwilling they are to assert it over and against the foreign cultural practices of Muslim immigrants. The UK is committing suicide. The elites are killing that country before our very eyes. Sorry, the faux elites, because they're not really elite, the globalist faux leads. David, Welcome to the program. Hello David, Hello, Hello, are you wanna yeah? Are you it's pretty bad connection. Are you on a self a speakerphone? Yeah? I mean hang on, let me get it on my phone. Okay, jeez, but I'll put you on hold. Do you want me to put you on hold and you can come back? Oh, I'm coming back right now, alrighty oh, jeez, I'm having trouble with it. Man. All right, well try to get through it. Let's just go ahead and we'll see, we'll see how it. Can I I got just one Can I make one statement? Yeah? Yeah, go ahead. I think we owe it to the UK to rekick kickstart Radio free Europe. Hm. Hmm, that's an idea. I don't know. Look, look this fight over free speech. That we're not free speech right, but it's really about the whole, the whole amount of things you've been talking about on your show for the last several days. It's about freedom and and the basic the basic element of his freedom and it's being robbed well with the UK. UK needs to hear the truth and they're not going to hear it from their leadership or within their media, not. The not the legacy outlets, and yes, not their leadership. You know what what's driving that train now is social media, which is why they're now trying to censor the social media companies through what is it called the Digital Security. Act or something. I think it's called the DSA, Like they're trying to backdoor the censorship. Again that was dismantled when Trump came in and ripped away all of the USAID funding. Like the tentacles of this censorship apparatus, a lot of them got chopped off when Elon Musk bought X and he started you remember hearing that he had like he started charging people the money for the for the verification, and he started putting rate limits, rate caps on accounts and everybody was like all outraged. Well, that was how these quote, these misinformation nonprofit groups that were getting all this money from the government to do like democracy saving work. They were using AI to scrape and to and to flag words in real time and create these heat maps, and then they would relay that information to the governments in order to censor these accounts and these users. And so when Musk came in and started charging the money and putting the rate caps on, that hamstrung them from doing the work for free. Basically they could do it very cheaply, not free, but they could do it very cheaply. And now couple that with the defunding of USAI D like they have been dealt some serious blows. And that's why you're seeing this digital security thing that kir Starmer is trying to do over in the UK and trying to make it apply to American companies to boot like this happening right now. Well, bottom line, we need a channel in there to re educate them on what is freedom, what is freedom of speech, and what the responsibility is regarding using free speech, but not the oppression of people because you don't agree with them politically. That's what's going on along with the cultural changes which are in the seed bed of which is the Muslim immigration. Yeah, yeah, David, I appreciate the call, sir, Thank you, sir. All right, take care. So when I was a kid, my grandpa died with Alzheimer's, and before he died, my mom and my dad took care of him as he got worse. Forty years ago, there were no treatments and not much support for caregivers and family. But things are different today because of the work of so many people, including the Alzheimer's Association of Western Carolina. It's a great organization with awesome people with huge hearts. I've been a supporter for twenty five years. This cause means a lot to me. I participate in the annual Walk to end Alzheimer's and I'm leading a Charlotte team again this year, and it's called once again Pete's Pack. You can sign up and you can join the team and walk with us. It's on October eighteenth, that truest field. Sign up at alz dot org slash walk and then you could search for my team name Pete's Peck. There's also a link at thepetepod dot com. There's also a link in the description of this podcast. Also, I'll be am seeing the Gastonia Walk on October eleventh, and so you can make a team and join that one too, or make a donation and help me hit my goal of five thousand dollars. If you do, I really appreciate it. There are a. Bunch of other walks all over the Carolinas. You can go to alz dot org slash walk for all the dates and locations. We're closer than ever to stopping Alzheimer's. Can you help us get there? Will you walk with me? For a different future, for families, for more time for treatments. This is why we walk, Russ says Pete. I avoid getting I get avoiding predictions, which is what I try to do. I avoid making predictions, and. I get that. But is stating things like water is wet and fire is hot? Is that really making a prediction? No, that's fair, Russ, It's not really a prediction. Let me see here, I've got somebody's admitting that their first love was their cousin. Ylliles needs to go. Okay. Friend of mine from a state that will remain nameless who asked a previous girlfriend to marry him. She told them she couldn't and then said, I hope that doesn't mean we can't still be cousins though, have a great day. The United States supposedly has free speech. Does Britain still have free speech? No? It seems that these lies that they're passing for censorship means they don't have free speech anymore. No. They see they don't. Have the First Amendment, they don't have that kind of history, and they don't have that kind of law. And that's why you see like these crackdowns on people making social media posts and being thrown in jail for it. And let me get this is from again John Daniel Davidson at the Federalists. The headline is Britain is turning its back on Western civilization. And I completely agree by the way the leadership the foe letes, the globalists, if you will, the European Union foleites these people who are like setting these policies in order to I don't even know, I don't even know what the end I guess, just to create economic zones instead of nation states. Davidson says, then, as now, the cowardice and betrayal of Britain's rulers is appalling. The NHS says that it doesn't want to stigmatize certain communities and cultural traditions by discouraging cousin marriage. Instead of facing up to the massive problem that it has created by importing a foreign population whose cultural and religious practices are incompatible with British society and Western civilization, Britain's corrupt governing class is instead trying to trans form British society by turning the clock back on Western civilization itself. And this is not going to save you, Britain. It's not going to save the country. And it leads me to believe that the people who are running the show are not actually trying to save Britain. Now I am encouraged when I see one hundred, one hundred and fifty thousand British people take to the streets all over their country waving their national flag, which then, of course is you know, ripped from them by unarmed bubbies, by cops in Britain taking flags from teenagers that are you know, walking in a parade. You know when when flying your country's flag is an act of subversion or is deemed to be a criminal act, like there I've said this before. There is a word for that. That word is conquered. If you don't get to fly your nation's flag, that means something has gone terribly wrong, terribly wrong when your flag, your nation's flag is somehow seen as a symbol of oppression and is divisive to be flown. Well, yeah, you've been conquered by somebody else, by some other group of people that have a different idea of what the country is. They're in control now, Keir Starmer. They call him two tier kere as. I understand it too. They've been banning that word, that phrase on their social media as well. He rolled out plans for a mandatory digital identification. The Prime Minister believes it. Will help crack down on illegal working and modernize the state. This according to the BBC, does he believe that. I don't think he does. Actually, this is about control. This is not about cracking down on illegal immigration. You want to crack down on illegal immigration. You already know where these people are. I mean they came over on boats. First off, you need to stop the boats. That's the first thing. Stop the boats from launching from France. Why do you think France hasn't stopped the boats right because their globalist leadership, they too are happy with all of these assylees, these asylum seekers getting on these dinghies floating across the Channel and taking up a residency in the UK. France is aiding and debtting this operation. This human trafficking is what that is. They are participating in human trafficking. They get to the UK. The UK then gives them money, gives them a housing stipend, puts them up in hotels, gives them food, gives them clothing and such. They let them work, so you know where they are if you want to crack down on illegal immigration, which Keir Starmer was like bullied into saying in order to preserve his Prime ministership, that you know where these people are located, you can go get them and expel them. But no they can't. No, we just can't do that. So in fact, let's just I have an idea. Let's take Tony Blair's idea that was rejected at least twice before, as I understand it, Let's take this idea, put some lipstick on this pig and trot it out there for everybody to Now kiss, how about that? This is the digital id we're going to make it mandatory, and that is somehow going to prevent people from being in the country illegally, because you don't think the human traffickers will be able to come up with some fake identification for your cell phone app. Really, you don't think that's possible. You think that's less forgible than paperwork. No, this is about control. This is a this is the social credit system that China uses. That's what the UK is looking to do. That's what cure Stormer, who by the way, this was not in his manifesto. That's what they call them over there. I don't know why they call them that, but like when they run for office, len say, they don't call it like their platform. They call it their manifesto. So this was the Labor government's manifesto and they're like, here are all the things we're going to be doing. And they have said repeatedly we're not going to do the national ID, and now he's saying, just out of the blue, we're going to do the national ID a digital ID rather a digital ID, and so this way we're going to tie your cell phone which has the geolocate uh geolocation you know service that so don't know where you are. They'll know if you're going to a big uh, you know, protest march against ramp into legal immigration. May They're going to have access then to all your tweets and Facebook posts and whatever. You run a foul of something, some speech code over there carries a penalty of a fine. Let's say, then, what, oh, they could just take some money right out of your bank account? How about that. It's all part of the digital id. But look at the convenience of it. You'll be able to go to a doctor and just show your phone and all your information will be right there on your phone until it gets hacked, because that won't ever happen, right, And now they're gonna have everything about you. This is such a terrible idea, such a terrible idea that you know it's only about control. This is not a swap out of you know, convenience for a little bit of liberty. No, this is about being able to implement the very thing that China has implemented, the social credit score, where they can turn off your bank account, turn off your your food credits, fire you from your job, reassign you someplace else, track your movements, you engage in any kind of action the Communist Party. They will know it, and they will punish you for it, and they will know exactly where you are. That's what the UK is looking to do. Every day I see this stuff coming out of Britain and it's just like, dude, they're gone. The UK is lost, and it's so sad for that great country, for all that they have done for humanity. And this is how you go out by suicide. It's just so sad. All Right, that'll do it for this episode. Thank you so much for listening.
