NC Board of Elections members quit over lawsuit deal that re-writes laws
The two Republican members of the North Carolina Board of Elections resigned their posts yesterday - citing a lawsuit settlement that re-writes several laws regarding absentee ballots. One said he was misled by staff attorneys about what the deal would do.
